I'm really tired of TPTB bringing on new characters and have them do horrible things and then try to redeem them. Evil characters are often very interesting but let them stay bad.JMHO

Does anyone recall what is in Sonny's "shipments"? Seems to me a lot of folks coast on their reputations. Maybe Jerry should remind us why he's a "bad boy"?

True, but has Sonny ever really killed anyone? He won't deal in drugs or "girls", sometimes one wonders what he deals in. Jason only kills other mobsters. Jerry, on the other hand caused the death of Alan and was cruelly taunting of Robin's wound. He is not a loveable gangster.LOL

I don't know...I love Jerry a lot. I think it's because he doesn't really pretend to be noble or good like Sonny and Jason seem to. When he does evil things he does them, and that's that. There's no mystery to what he traffics in, what his "shipments" are. You know exactly what he's capable of.

I love Jerry too. He is who he is and I really don't hold it against him

I have to agree that it is hard to forget how we were introduced to Jerry, through the Metro Court crisis and the torture of many PC citizens. Sebastian Roche is playing Jerry as very appealing but it is a hard thing for me to overlook.

And now he is directly responsible for Michael being shot. For me he is forever unredeemable.

^I disagree, that Jerry is directly responsible for Michael being shot. Jerry didn't know that, Michael would be in the warehouse and when he did find out, he tried to stop the hit.

I do get why, Jery would be unredeemable for you though.

I have to concur with Lpia. There are 2 people directly responsible for Michael being shot: Sonny, for being in the Mob in the first place, and Ian, for pulling the trigger. Jerry has done massively evil things (and, okay, I admit I loved 90% of them during the Metro Court crisis because he was a fabulous villain), but Michael's shooting is not on him.

But didn't Jerry get Ian to kill Sonny? Ian wouldn't have been there except for that. So yes I think any court of law would blame Jerry.JMO.

It's the other way around! Claudia and Ian came to Jerry to kill Sonny and Jerry backed off. He wouldn't do it because of the impact on Jax, Carly, and the kids. So Ian decided to do the job himself. Jerry's culpability comes in that he's an accessory before the fact since he knew they were planning to off Sonny and didn't tell anyone.

although supposedly he was driving to the rescue when he hit Alexis . . . or Alexis hit him. One of those. I love Sebastian Roche, but I don't want that psycho with my Alexis(she's had to deal with one too many, some of them her own family). I always thought she & Mac could hook up . . . but then I'd never see either of them, would I?

OK maybe I missed part of that but I still think Jerry is pure slime. The way Alan died was enough for me to hate Jerry forever.

Yeah, killing Alan & shooting Robin put him on my list, not to mention killing Stan(which he did recently), drugging Nikolas, framing Emily. He got his younger brother kidnapped & raped by Irina(don't get me started on carly's reaction to THAT). And he was trying to get Jax to go into business with him so he could continue doing business with Ian recently too. Ughhhh, bad Jerry, bad jerry. (where's the WSB, when you need them?)

Jerry is culpable only for supplying the weapon to Ian. Claudia contracted Ian to do the hit. Jerry refused to pull the trigger himself, and was attempting to stop Ian when he collided with Alexis.
