Wow! I probably shouldn't say this but I am loving Wicked Kate. She's always been over the top as far as her kids go but the whole Kate, Daniel, Chloe story line is riveting! I like it because she's doing something that could land her in the pokey.
My favorite Day's scene today:Daniel to Kate " I really am sorry" Daniel to himself outside Kate's room, "but not as sorry as you're going to be" I was shocked to see Victor as the "big boss" behind the scenes when Arianna came to the docks. I am curious as to who is baiting who.
I agree. Daniel's scene was delicious. But, I'm afraid Kate is not going to be as sorry as Daniel would like, because she'll weasel her way out of it.
I've thought all along that Arianna is undercover to take down the druglords, but I was amazed and disappointed to see that Victor is the very person she's after. Now, I've always said that Victor is a much more convincing villain than Stefano could ever be. He is so much more convincing as a cold, powerful "businessman" to be feared by anyone who would think of crossing him. But, drugs? There are so many other things he could be involved in, it really bothered me to see that. Particularly since Brady, his own grandson, had a drug problem.
yea I used to watch Days when they had the murders and I loved how evil Kate was trying to keep Roman away from Marlena
I like that name! Teflon Kate, and yep she is totally going to get away with this latest plot. But hopefully she'll pay at least a little bit!
If only Lucas and Philip would both turn their backs on her, but no matter how many times Lucas writes her off, he always comes crawling back. He's too much of a momma's boy to disown her for good. Once Daniel is cleared, even Victor will defend Kate. I don't know what it is about her that makes her so invincible.
I have always been a Kate and Stefano and Victor fan. So this little, or big twist with the lovely Katherine marrying Stefano has been fun for me to watch. When Kate told Victor who she was marrying, and he laughed, so did I. And then today, Victor asking Kate if she would change her name, just in case he wants to send over a monogrammed gift was hilarious to me. The entire storyline has been both sad and funny for me to watch. Kate will pay for her crime against Chloe and Daniel; but it won't be prison, it will be exactly as Victor described it to her. Both of her son's turning their backs on her. Lucas drinking and going to rehab and Philip, her precious Philip, telling her "he would not be her son anymore" I've read about "teflon Kate"; however, without her children (that live in Salem) she really will have nothing, and I think that for Kate, this will be her karmic payback.
I agree, I love the scenes with Victor. If Kate hadn't gone after Daniel, she would probably still have Victor on her side. I guess losing both her sons AND living in Stefano's hell will be more fun to watch than seeing her go to prison. For once, Kate does not have the upper hand, and it must be killing her. I wonder how long it will take for her to wish she had confessed and gone to prison.

She SHOULD end up in the pokey. But, her nickname is "Teflon" because no matter what evil thing she does, nothing sticks. You'd think that attempted murder would be enough to put her away this time, but she'll get out of it. Victor and Stefano own enough judges between them to make sure she walks away from this.
