I realize he's developing a following, but I don't see it. North is a sleazy DA, played by a good actor, but if he disappeared tomorrow, AMC would be no worse and no better than it currently is. Over the years, I've thought that Brooke would be a good character to see react to a particular storyline, or David before VI returned. But North? Not so much.Let AMC save the money in these difficult times. They have a talented cast as is. Let them spend it on them and the crew, rather than a temporary one-note character like North. JMO

Gator, I agree completely. Why do we need another slimeball on the canvas when we already have Ryan and David (and, yes, sometimes even Adam)? I'm not sure I see the talent the rest of you see in this guy, but I definitely see the sleaze factor. We've had enough of that, thank you. I didn't know he was being killed off, but if he is, so be it. No loss as far as I can see. He makes my skin crawl when he sidles up to Randi and tells her how they belong together. Oh, no, sorry! And I'm really sorry that Randi thought she could make a difference by going to DC to meet him. I see nothing but disaster there. Nobody knows where his wife is. She probably followed him to DC and she's the one who kills him. And since Randi is on the scene, who do you think will be blamed? Disaster!!!

I agree there has been way too much sleaze on AMC as of late..somehow Pratt thinks this is what we want to see. Psst..it's not.I do agree that the actor has more talent than some of the "regulars" and could have been a more interesting addtion to the show. But right now, as far as I am concerned, Pratt is not writing characters but charicatures...no depth, no humanity..just people to move the plot along. No matter how interesting the actors, they are basically uninteresting to me and have no way to grow and develop beause they only have one dimension.Did I mention that Pratt is a terrible writer? Not trying to insult anyone but just stating a fact as I see it.
