The news of (yet another) head writer change at AMC I think is good news. If ony for me, because in the past when either or both of them became head writers, it was at the end of the show's run (RIP AW, GL, ATWT). Neither of them had any past connection with AMC, and they were OK but nothing great was coming out. Ms. Borderick had been associated with the show as early as the 70's I think. In any event, she knows the history and can write stories with feeling.
Although there are some bright spots: the baby switch - yes an overused plot device, but the characters' motivation this time is compelling - and the immigration marriage-turning into real love - at least I hope it does - LISTEN AMC, Tad and Cara have great chemistry, showcase that!!! Another possible hit is the David/Liza pairing. God knows, no one else wil have them!
Ryan and Greenlee as currently drawn cannot carry the show. The current plot concerning Madison is unworthy of such a spunky, don't give a d*** character as Greenlee was.
I'll keep watching and hoping for improvement!

IA, and I only ask that Ms. Broderick restore some of the class to AMC which (sadly) so many past HWs took away from it, and I include K&S in that long list of bad HWs who focused on their newbies (Asher, Caleb, Griffin, Cara) at the expense of beloved veterans. Give AMC a proper sendoff, with couples marrying (Jerica), thriving (Jamanda) and reuniting (Zendall). Get Thorsten Kaye back, if only to wrap up that story with some dignity so that the boring newbie hero cardiac surgeon doesn't end up with Kendall when her heart will always belong to Zach. My requests are small, but I think Ms. Broderick can achieve them. If so, I'll come back for the end.

I'm not so enthusiatic about a HW change. Is she coming on to write the end? If so bring Thorsten Kaye back for Kendall.The Jesse and Angie baby switch is stupid even though it will give Darnell Williams and Debbie Morgan great material. The material would have been just as good if the baby just died without the stupidity of having a spare baby available in a cardboard box no less. Maybe it was really delivered by the stork!!!I love the Tad/Cara storyline and I hope LB makes it worth while to watch. As for Greenlee, lets hope LB has the guts to send her packing to Europe.I am not hopeful that cancellation is still not on the horizon.
