uh people come on this is 2008, we may have a black president in the very near furure. Besides THAT, uh look closely...Do you SEE any black actors other that Devon on the show? Y&R is one of the few shows with a core Black family on it. The same could be said for Neil, Karen obviously ISN"T black either. Soaps are just begining to show minorities on the canvas, instead of them being the maid. Speaking of which where is Miguel? We hardly see Esther, and Mamie had been off the canvas for years. Reguardless you can't pick who you fall in love with. It's just that these two ( and I think Cane is HOT) are a boring couple. Chloe reguardless of if you love or hate her ( i LOVE her) is shaking this boring couple up. It's not a matter of race so PLEASE don't make it into that . No one talks about it cause it should be a MOOT issue. Perhaps no one is talking about it cause we're SUPPOSED to be past this racist crap. Nuff said

wanting to see more black families is not being racial...it is being real. The town I live in has a lot of black families. To think that GC has only one is not realistic. We need for Lily to have choices...personally I think she doesn't deserve Cane. She is too whinny and young for him.She and Chloe can both leave GC and I won't miss either.
