I gave up on 90210 about five episodes into the first season. :::shudder::: It was a travesty!I figure I'll give MP the same amount of time to either hook me or send me screaming for the hills! And to answer your question about Sydney, I think her return is going to have a very interesting impact on the show.

lol I liked 90210 I felt that they needed more regs you know hellooo Brandon and Brenda made the show LOL when they came into the zip. But the finale was great last season real cliff hanger

I really enjoyed the premiere episode...and, yes, I knew what was going to happen with Sydney. Now it's spoiler-free character rundown time!Auggie: Very intense, and there's obviously a reason for it. And Colin looks fab!Jonah: Adorable! Of course, I also loved Michael Rady on GREEK.Riley: Something about the character annoys me and I can't put my finger on it. LOL.Ella: Probably my favorite so far; Katie Cassidy did a great job establishing her layers right off the bat.Violet: Way too "fresh off the farm," so there's clearly some secrets there. Don't really see the point of her yet.David: Not feelin' him yet; he's a textbook poor little rich boy.Lauren: I kept expecting her to kill some Cylons or Terminators. LOL. have just finished watching the episode and loveddd it!so things I have picked up on I think David is Michael and Kimberlys son beacuse Kimberly died and I cant remember if Michelle died wow I just realized Michael was married a lot LOL but he could be Jane's beacuse Jane was adopted!Violet- clearly Sydney was her mother (I thought they looked alike) I wonder if Michaels her father or maybe Craig.. lol I wasnt really old enough to watch the orginal MP and 90210 lol but I watched 90210 on soapnet all the way till I think it was season 6 after Brenda left I didnt really want to contuine lol I loved Brenda and Dylan LOL! lol me and my mom watched to I think was after Brandon got Kelly out of the cult lol but I did watch the series ending! I want them to bring back Zuckerman! lol but I ended up buying season 1+2 of MP on DVD havent gotten through season 2 yet my DVR filled up but I love Allison lol I hope she returns!

I'm old enough to remember the original runs of both shows, too.mkv0463, they haven't yet revealed why Sydney somehow survived her death (only to die again in the series premiere), but I'm sure that's something that will be addressed coming up.And I'm pretty sure Peter and Amanda got married in the series finale of the original, and ended up happy. (Or as happy as those two can be. LOL.)

Mala,remember Michael said he helped Sydney fake her own death when she was in the hospital scene with him!

Oh, right! The episode went by so quickly that I almost forgot he said that! Hopefully we'll get more exposition and maybe some flashbacks.

It was weird they were talking about Amanda or Heather making an appearance on Melrose and said not sure how they will work it since she died at the end of the original one and I could have sworn her and Peter got married. I was really disappointed, I had loved, loved her with Kyle. I really thought they made a great couple. I really didn't like Amanda with Peter but that was just me. By the way I looked they are not being replayed by me tonight. Shucks! Also think I am old enough to remember the invension of dirt!
