Why, oh why is DAYS's Arianna SO angry about EJ's shooting? I get being protective of her sibling and getting upset that Rafe quit the FBI to help Sami in her cover-up, but her complete meltdown about Sami's complicity came out of nowhere. What is EJ to her? Sure, they're kind of pals and he represented her during her false imprisonment, but it was the reveal of Hope as the true culprit in the muggings that got Ari released, not anything EJ did. Would she really get so mental that Sami — the woman her brother plans to spend the rest of his life with — is walking around free? Sadly, I feel this is another plot contrivance to take a character who was never properly fleshed out to serve as the liaison for the next beat of this story before dying. I'm hopeful that AMC has bigger plans for actress Lindsay Hartley (who will join the show on December 8 as Cara), who certainly deserves more of a throughline than she got in Salem.
