Unhappy to hear Ford report that Tess remained firmly in charge, Brody blamed Ford for keeping Jessica away...and was furious that Ford had kissed Tess! Meanwhile, Cutter and Tess smooched in the steam room, but Tess pulled away, "Where am I? What are you doing to me?" she asked, looking dazed. But Tess was just pretending. "You are good," Cutter grinned, and they dropped their towels. Ford entered the steam room and pulled Cutter off his wife. Tess said she didn't think it was any of Ford's business if she sees Cutter.

Langston was surprised to learn that Markko would be directing David and Dorian's movie, which she was writing. It was time for Markko and Langston to "commune," Dorian suggested. "You two are going to make beautiful music together," Dorian smiled as she and David headed upstairs. Though Langston was reluctant to work with Markko, he thought maybe they could be friends, and start out as collaborators. They shook on it. "Boy, do we have our work cut out for us," Lang smiled.

Dorian and David ended up in bed. Dorian pointed out that, as mayor of Llanview, she couldn't accompany him to L.A., but could help produce David's film because she excelled at multi-tasking. Smitten David insisted Angelina Jolie wasn't pretty enough to play Dorian.

Rama fretted to Cristian that she was the reason Vimal was in jail — if she'd been around, she would have prevented Vimal from going to the DNA lab. Cristian offered to give Rama a ride to the prison.

In prison, Vimal recognized Marty from the genetics lab. Marty vaguely remembered, but wanted to hurry off. "To lie about a man's paternity, I can't imagine anything as bad as that," Vimal told an uneasy Marty, who urged Vimal to stop torturing himself about what he did in the DNA lab. Rama rushed in. "My Jasmine flower," Vimal said happily, and asked to see her baby bump. Rama didn't want to take her coat off, and told Vimal that she was living at the mansion. Shocked to learn that Cristian had driven Rama to the prison, Vimal ordered Cris to keep his arms off of his wife. "She's in a delicate condition," he yelled.

Cristian ran into Marty, and wondered why she had Natalie's paternity results in hand. He was suspicious when she claimed it was like a safeguard.

Natalie thought the fact that John still had a sonogram of her baby proves he still cares about it. "There's a part of you that still loves him," Natalie insisted. John didn't want to talk about it, so Natalie ripped up the photo. Liam doesn't care about DNA, she pointed out. When John said their future was ruined when she slept with another man, Natalie realized there was no going back for John. "Maybe we should just move on," she said tearfully, and gave him back her engagement ring. She sobbed as she left his office, while John stared at the ring on his desk.

Joey and Aubrey asked Kelly how long she had been dating John. When Kelly hinted that Joey was jealous, he claimed he was upset because John was engaged to his sister, Natalie. As Kelly and Joey bickered about being with other people, Aubrey wondered if Joey really was jealous of John and Kelly. Joey slipped and mentioned the time he and Kelly almost hooked up in the storage room. Aubrey asked Joey if he was sorry he married her and marched off. She charged into the steam room and began kissing Cutter...which Tess, who was still there, thought was odd!

At James's place, he made it clear to Deanna that she was just going to be there for one night. Deanna claimed she'd never stopped loving James. He called that a lie. "I was lying to you then," she said through tears. James wasn't interested in hearing any of Deanna's explanations.

A thrilled Starr greeted Markko with a hug. Langston explained that they would be working on VICKERMAN together. Langston had to break it to her best friend that she'd be leaving Llanview, and the two sobbed as they remembered their friendship. Starr left to find James, and rang his doorbell, unaware of his serious conversation with Deanna.

Joey went to his mom for advice after his first fight with Aubrey. He explained that Aubrey was suspicious about his feelings for Kelly after he punched John. Viki started to cry as she confessed to her son that her marriage to Charlie was over. "I can't be married to someone who is in love with someone else" she said through tears. Viki asked Joey to keep that information to himself and quickly changed the subject to Aubrey and Joey. Joey awkwardly dodged the question when Viki asked if he regretted marrying Aubrey. Viki pulled out of Joey's hug when Charlie entered the kitchen. Tension! Charlie admitted he loved Echo and both he and Viki agreed they needed to talk.

Echo wondered if Charlie wanted to be with her or if he was going to back to Viki. "Both," he replied cryptically, explaining that he needed to find out if Viki needed him by his side to win custody of Ryder. But he wanted to "be" with Echo, he added. Echo longed for the day they could be out in the open...then paled as she remembered that she had known for a long time that Clint was Rex's dad.

Kelly wondered how Clint got the Eddie Ford murder charges dropped. Clint wasn't in the mood to answer but was curious about what was up with her and Joey. "He's a happily married man, Clint," Kelly spat. Clint opined that he thought Kelly belonged with his son. He explained that Aubrey and Cutter had fooled with the original footage on the jump drive, adding that Aubrey and Cutter are NOT brother and sister. Clint asked for Kelly's help in pointing Joey in the right direction. Joey came home and was surprised to find Kelly in the living room.

In the steam room, Tess caught Cutter and Aubrey in a kiss. Realizing that Cutter was not Aubrey's brother, Tess gloated over the dirt she now had on them. Delighted that they were scamming the family, she said she wanted in on the deal. Cutter and Aubrey agreed, but Aubrey had serious reservations about the trustworthiness of Jess's alter. Cutter offered to keep an eye on Tess.

Starr wanted to know what was up with Deanna when she arrived at James' apartment. He did his best to explain things but couldn't convince Starr that there was nothing to worry about. "I'm with you," he said, adding that Deanna had dumped him. Deanna smiled slyly as she listened to their conversation, then volunteered to make breakfast for dinner. Starr offered to take Deanna and James out for a meal.

Tomas asked Blair if she thought he had anything to do with Todd's shooting. When Blair discussed the wounded shooter, Tomas immediately began to take off his shirt to prove he wasn't injured. Blair stopped him, and shared her fears that she and Todd may have raised a sociopath. Tomas reminded her that Téa had wanted Blair to take care of Dani if anything happened to her.

Téa snuck into Tomas' room and Dani promptly caught her. Uh-oh. Dani wondered if Téa went through her things and read her the riot act for snooping through her uncle's. They both wept about missing Todd. Dani went to do homework and Tomas caught Téa in his room with a photo of Todd (Howarth) in her hand.

Shane cried as he told his parents he was a loser. "They are jealous," Gigi said, trying to boost Shane's spirits. Shane promised not to hurt himself again and headed upstairs to work on his comics. Rex opened the door to find Jack and Blair outside. Rex demanded they leave and informed them that Shane tried to kill himself.

Echo congratulated Clint for evading prison, again. She accused Clint of throwing her and Charlie together, after proudly announcing they were having an affair. Clint immediately denounced the idea that Charlie could leave Viki for her. Echo asked Clint to stay quiet about the fact that she always knew that Clint was Rex's father. Clint was furious to learn that Shane (his grandson) had been bullied in school — a sign of caring — though he still refused to keep the secret about the timing about Rex's paternity.

Charlie said he would be there for her for Ryder's custody hearing but Viki refused to pretend they had a happy marriage and told him he was free. Charlie insisted that he had tried to tell Viki the truth about Echo for weeks, adding he had not planned to fall in love with Echo. Viki asked Charlie to go and she'd send his things to "that motel." "We're getting a divorce," she said through tears. Charlie left with one suitcase. Clint arrived to check on his ex-wife.

Rex railed at Jack for what he did to Shane; Blair was dumbfounded when she found out Shane had tried to commit suicide and was overwhelmed with emotion. Jack was also startled. Rex was outraged even more when Blair tried to apologize for her own son's actions. Rex lashed out at Jack and attacked him, pushing up against the wall. Blair lost control and broke up the scuffle, screaming at Rex not to lay a hand on her son ever again. They stormed out. Rex broke down and told a confused Echo that Shane tried to kill himself. Echo pleaded with Rex to be there for Shane and not take things out on Jack.

Clint paid Viki a visit. She was forced to explain that Charlie is having an affair with Echo, Clint's ex-mistress. She was distraught. Clint urged her to rebuild her marriage to Charlie and assure her that it's worth fighting for, but she said it's over and that she's fine with it. "You're not fine with it," Clint said. Viki broke down in his arms. She laughed when Clint advocated for her to forgive Charlie for the affair. "He doesn't want to come back. He's in love with Echo!" she explained. Viki was stunned that Echo had informed Clint about her split with Charlie. Clint flashed back to his chat with Echo, which she pleaded with him not to tell Viki that she knew all along about Rex's real paternity. Clint couldn't bring himself to tell Viki and said Echo told him about Shane's bullying instead. Viki was floored to hear about Shane's situation. Clint alluded that he'd make sure his grandson would never be harmed again.

At the Ford pad, Tess explained to her "hubby" that she was trying to make a move on Cutter and the gym but they were interrupted by Aubrey. Meanwhile, Cutter and Aubrey bickered over what happened in the steam room and miffed that their cover was busted by none other than Tess. They fought over their growing feelings for Joey and Tess. Aubrey refused to end things with Joey; Cutter agreed to take care of Tess. Back at the apartment, Ford was blown away when Tess got fussy Ryder to go to sleep. Tess was certain that they'd get what they want with regard to the child as she glanced at her incriminating photo of Echo with Charlie.

Dorian told Kelly that she's producing David's movie and asked for an exclusive story for The Banner. Dorian, in turn, asked for some details about what's going on with Joey. Kelly explained she's got some damning evidence: Aubrey and Cutter are lovers. Dorian said she should use the info she got from Clint to win Joey back. Kelly wasn't on-board with the idea. Dorian hinted that she'd make sure the truth came out.

Cutter appealed to Joey to let him spend more time with Tess with the hope of bringing out Jessica again. The ploy worked; Joey agreed and was willing to do anything to help his sis. Aubrey was happy but asked Cutter that hanging out with Tess is the only thing he does with her. Later, Joey told Aubrey he's worried about their marriage and said he'll do whatever it takes to put it back on track, even if it means not seeing Kelly. Aubrey was happy. Meanwhile, Cutter paid Tess a visit and they kissed. She was excited to be part of their plan to swindle the Buchanans.

Téa confronted Tomas and demanded to know why he's keeping a file on Todd and has photos of him before his reconstructive surgery. Tomas explained he's been investigating Todd and wondered why Téa isn't the least bit curious about why he came back with a different face. She was stunned that her brother was suggesting that Todd may not be who he really says he is, but admitted that there was once a point when she did question her husband's real identity. They continued to bicker; Téa was still miffed that Tomas was so fixated on Todd. He worried that she was too trusting.

Back at La Boulaie, Blair unleashed her anger on Jack, who was still unapologetic. "I want to know that you're sorry!" she screamed. Jack admitted that he didn't think things would go that far and he didn't mean it. Blair was glad, until Jack suddenly blamed Shane for his own situation. "Some people are just weak; Dad gets it so why don't you?" he said.

Clint called Echo to tell her that he kept her secret. Then he paid distraught Rex a visit.

Clint came to Rex's to check on Shane. "What do you care?" was Rex's reply. "I never meant to hurt Shane," Clint declared. Clint was stunned to learn of Shane's suicide attempt. Rex reassured his father that he had no interest in the Buchanan fortune and told him not to get any ideas about reaching out to Shane. Exit Clint — but not before telling Rex to "take care of your boy."

Nora panicked because Matthew was missing. Bo explained Matthew was meeting Destiny at the Buenos Dias. Bo and Nora knew they couldn't sit on the fact that their son was a murderer. Nora blamed Clint for everything that happened that night and worried that their son might go to prison for life. Mayor Dorian came to their door wanting an update on the Eddie murder.

Nigel, Rama and Destiny were glued to the latest edition ACCESS LLANVIEW but Matthew wasn't interested. Destiny asked a jittery Matthew if he knows who the real killer was and guessed that Nora did it. "It wasn't my mom," Eddie said.

Rama worried what Vimal would think about that news bite about her friendship with Cris on ACCESS LLANVIEW.

Cris came over with a baby present for little Liam. He had a heads up about Marty for Natalie — "She's still carrying around your DNA results." Natalie thought that was bizarre.

John ran into Marty (reading that DNA report) and wondered what was up. She quickly put it away and assured John she was okay. John insisted that things with Natalie were definitely over. Marty asked if the DNA test was wrong, would John take Natalie back? John thought that was a very weird question. "What's done is done," he said. Marty asked John over for dinner. "Sure," he said with a half-smile.

On her television show, Phyllis wondered who really killed Eddie Ford. She told viewers to vote for either Jody or Fess (Jessica/Brody or Ford/Tess). Clint demanded Rama and Nigel turn off that ACCESS LLANVIEW trash. Clint placed a call to his "men", demanding to know who roughed up Shane at Llanview High. Bo asked his brother to keep quiet about Matthew "since you are the only one who know he did it."

Matthew raced home and watched Access Llanview with his mother. "I think Phyllis Rose is about to out me as a murderer," he said clinging to Nora.
