Monday

Kelly found Rodney on the floor of her office and frantically summoned John. "I knew right away he was dead," Kelly explained when John arrived, explaining that Rodney had told her that her mother had been murdered. "What happened to him, John?" Kelly wondered. John found the baseball card in Rodney's hands and told Kelly about Marty losing the baby. Whoever killed Melinda also killed Rodney, theorized John. Kelly gave John a sympathetic hug. "I know that you were looking forward to being a dad," Kelly said.

Téa asked for Blair's help, explaining that Dani was hoping to really stick it to Todd by playing Starr. Perhaps playing Starr
would help Dani come to terms "with who her father is," Téa suggested. Blair thought that Langston's play was fair. Téa worried that Todd might give Dani another reason to hate him. "Did Todd do something?" Blair asked. Téa got an emergency call from her doctor, who wanted to see her today. Blair wondered what Todd had to do with Marty falling down the stairs. "I think Todd might have pushed Marty," Téa said slowly.

Destiny spied Langston and Ford kissing. As Langston pushed Ford out of the rehearsal hall, he claimed that he missed her. Ford left and Markko showed up with video equipment. Langston was shocked and touched when Markko explained that he was doing a video of the whole production for Langston, so she'd never forget it. The rehearsal — a scene between "Starr and Todd" — began and Dani remembered when she first met Todd. Todd looked in on the rehearsal and made eye contact with Dani. As Destiny and Matthew began rehearsing as Langston and Markko, Markko told the real Langston that she makes him very happy every day. Destiny griped to Matthew that Langston was "the biggest hypocrite in the world" — a comment that was caught on Markko's video camera. Markko was looking through Langston's purse just as Ford's text message came through on her phone.

Starr told Hannah that she and Cole were focusing on raising their
daughter. Cole came home and reported that Todd had pushed Marty down a flight of stairs. After Hannah hurried out, Starr asked Cole why he thought Todd had pushed Marty. Hannah eavesdropped as the two argued. Cole filled Starr in on the conversation Todd had had with Marty before the tumble. Starr was stunned that Todd had wanted Marty, Cole and the baby "to disappear." She left, and Hannah returned to the apartment and told Cole that she was there when Marty fell. "This is all my fault," Hannah said Téarfully. Cole wanted to know if Hannah had pushed Marty, but Hannah insisted she hadn’t. When Cole begged Hannah to tell him the truth, she said she saw who pushed Marty.

Starr ran into Todd in the high school hall and told him about Cole
accusing him of pushing Marty. "Did you?" Starr asked. Todd swore that he didn't do it.

Natalie paid Marty a visit in the hospital. "I didn't send you down the stairs," Natalie insisted. Adding that she was sorry about "all of it." "I don't know who pushed me and I don't know why. I just know that yesterday I was having a baby and now I'm not," Marty said, as Natalie's eyes filled up with Téars. Brody came in to inform Marty that John had been called to an emergency. Marty asked Brody to take Natalie and go. "I just need to be alone," she said. Brody asked Natalie what she was doing in Marty's room, adding that Todd was now looking suspicious.

When he ran into Todd at the hospital, John made it clear that he knew about the nasty conversation between Todd and Marty. Todd said he had nothing to say. John asked for Todd's report on what happened, and accused Todd of having pushed Marty. "Just shut the hell up," Todd snapped. After giving Brody the evidence he had found on the stairwell, John left the hospital.

Tuesday

Thrilled that Viki was home, Gigi asked Viki for the update on Jessica. Viki explained that it was like Jessica was in prison, "stuck in the past." Gigi told Viki that Mitch wasn't Rex's father, and relayed how Allison Perkins kidnapped Sierra Rose. Plus, Rex has no clue as to who his mother and father are, she added. Viki felt awful for Rex and thought Gigi should help Rex find his parents. Gigi regretted keeping Stacy's blackmail plot a secret from Rex, but Viki told her, "no guilt." Gigi couldn't imagine life without Rex, admitting that he was her best friend. Viki commiserated, saying she had thought Charlie would never let her down. "But he did," Viki said sadly. Still, Charlie did find his way back and got sober, and now they were back together.

Rex was thrilled to see Bo walking around in his hospital room. Bo told Rex he was about to marry the "woman of my dreams." "You deserve to be happy," said a pleased Rex, then asked Bo to help him find out about the necklace. Bo promised to give it a full workup at the station, and reminded Rex that he loves Gigi. "Gigi and I went through hell to be together but once that trust got broken I don't have it in me again," lamented Rex. Bo recalled what had broken up his first marriage to Nora; he "was a jackass" Bo said, advising Rex to follow his heart. "Do you love her?" Bo asked. "I love her," Rex acknowledged. Rex picked Gigi up at Viki's to go to a baseball game with Shane.

Destiny told Matthew that she saw Langston kissing another guy: Ford. Matthew felt bad for Markko. Langston got a text from Ford and lied to Markko that it was a girl from one of her classes. As Langston wondered what Destiny and Matthew were talking about, Markko noticed that the video camera had been running. What he didn't know is that it caught Destiny and Matthew's entire conversation about Ford and Langston! Destiny and Matthew fudged. "That was way too close," noted Matthew.

Blair couldn't believe that Todd pushed Marty down a flight of stairs. Téa wanted to believe that Todd didn't do it, but thought it was suspicious that Marty fell after the argument with Todd. Blair, happy to be with a man who is sane, didn't feel like trying to figure
out Todd. Téa reminded Blair that they have children with Todd. If
Todd did this, it would affect their children, Blair had to admit.

Nora visited Marty and was sorry to learn she had lost her baby — then surprised to find out Marty had been pushed down a flight of stairs. Marty revealed that at first she thought Natalie had
pushed her, but now suspected Todd. As Nora threatened to nail
Todd's butt to the wall, Marty noticed her engagement ring. Nora reported that June 1 was the wedding date, and said she wanted
Marty to be there.

Todd swore to Starr that he didn't push Marty and begged her to believe him. In fact, he had nothing to do with Marty's miscarriage. "I believe you," she replied to her relieved dad. "Don't make me regret it," Starr said sternly. Danielle approached them and Todd said he thought Dani looked pretty good in the role. Danielle offered to drop out of the play if Todd wanted her to, but he said she shouldn’t quit. Danielle invited Todd to listen to the rehearsal, then stick around so they could talk.

Hannah told Cole she saw who pushed Marty, and he promised to protect her. Then, charging into the gym, Cole yelled "You murderer" to Todd. Dani, Matthew, Destiny and Starr were horrified. "You don't want to do this here," Todd said. Cole couldn't believe that Starr believed her father, and said he had proof. "Hannah saw him," Cole said. "I have a witness.” Dani ran to Starr's side. Ignoring Todd’s denials, Cole went after him. Markko tried to pull Cole off but he wouldn't stop punching Todd, as Starr begged him to stop.

Wednesday

As Cole pummeled Todd, Téa and Blair charged in and tried to stop the fight. Téa kept Danielle from seeing her father's bloody face. Yelling for someone to call 911, Starr glared at Cole. The ambulance arrived and whisked Todd to the hospital. Watching the doctors through the window, Starr told her mother she had never seen Cole like that, adding that Todd had sworn to her he hadn't pushed Marty. The doctor came out of the ER and asked if Todd's head was slammed against any hard surfaces, and reported that there were no spinal injuries. Since it would be a few hours until they knew anything more, Starr went to check on Hope.

Danielle admitted to her mother that her feelings toward Todd changed during the rehearsal, but the hatred returned after she heard Todd pushed Marty down the stairs. "What am I supposed to think, Mom?" Danielle wondered, and asked Téa if she thought Todd was guilty. They headed to the hospital, where they joined Blair at Todd's bedside.

Destiny told Nate to give up any thoughts he might have about Dani as a possible girlfriend.

Brody told John the forensics were back on the fiber found on the stairs, and they came from an expensive piece of clothing. "Todd Manning is rich," noted Brody.

Brody arrived at the high school and hearing about the fight, asked
Langston and Markko for details. Langston said Cole's rage didn't give Cole the right to beat Todd "to a pulp." Brody reported the fight to.

Hannah was babysitting Hope when Cole came home. A
furious Cole confided to Hannah that he tried to kill Todd. "I snapped," Cole admitted, explaining that the attack was for all the things Todd had done to his family. "Did you kill him?" Hannah asked. "He looked bad, really bad," Cole replied. Hannah said it was all her fault, and wondered how Starr could live with a father like Todd. Cole wanted Hannah to come to the police station and tell them what she saw, but Hannah hesitated. Starr came home and cried, "My father may die. And it's because of you.”

Charlie told Viki he was meeting Dorian at the diner. Dorian wanted to start off on a clean slate with Charlie when they started work on the Llanview Civic Center, and was pleased with Charlie's preliminary work on the project. Viki wasn't pleased with their working arrangement, Charlie told his new partner. A photographer, part of Dorian's marketing team, snapped a photo of Charlie and Dorian. When he got home, Viki gave him a kiss and recapped her day. Meanwhile, Kelly met Dorian at the diner and told her aunt that Rodney was murdered. Someone was watching the women through the window....

Viki was horrified to learn from Natalie that someone pushed Marty down a flight of stairs, causing her to miscarry — and that Natalie is the no. 1 suspect. And suspect number 2 is Todd! A teary Natalie said she couldn't imagine herself with John anymore; she would always love him, "but that is not enough." Viki sympathized, and hoped Todd hadn't pushed Marty. Natalie was thrilled to hear that Charlie was back in Viki's life.

At the station, Kelly told John that there were two murders (Melinda and Rodney) that needed to be solved. Rodney's death wasn't a murder until there was an autopsy, John pointed out. Kelly thought the murderer must be in Llanview now. John agreed that probably the same person murdered both of them, and asked Kelly about Melinda's pottery making. He'd keep her apprised of the investigation, John assured Kelly before she left. Hearing about the witness from Broday, John wanted to talk to Hannah. Natalie arrived at the station and told John she wanted an apology.

Thursday

John apologized to Natalie for accusing her of killing Marty's unborn baby. "I never mean to hurt you," he said, adding that he wasn't sure if Todd was guilty; he was waiting to talk to Hannah.

Cole asked Starr how Todd was. "He could die," she snapped, and his brain might be injured. "What were you thinking?" she yelled. When Cole told her that Hannah was the witness, Starr was doubted her credibility. "Why didn't Hannah tell us as soon as it happened?" Starr wondered, then approached Hannah and asked her why she didn't help Marty. "I was scared," said Hannah. Brody arrived and arrested Cole. They were hoping to find her, Brody told Hannah.

At the station, John informed Cole they were going to charge him with assault, warning him not to talk anymore and get a lawyer. "Tell me what you saw Todd Manning do," John ordered Hannah, who insisted that Todd pushed Dr. Saybrooke down the stairs. Afterward, Hannah took Cole's hand and they agreed they had each other's back.

Doctors worked to bring Todd back after he flatlined in the hospital. Blair, Téa and Dani were hustled out of the room. In Todd's mind, he was walking and listened to his family talking about him. Viki appeared and told Todd he had died, then showed him his coffin. Todd refused to die, denying he had anything to do with the death of Marty's baby. Viki showed him Cole and Starr getting married, adding that when he died, the whole town celebrated. As Todd watched Ross about to marry Téa, Viki reminded him that he was dead. Blair was getting married to Eli, then Viki told Todd he was in hell and there was one more thing she had to show him. Agitated as he watched a pregnant Dani in a wedding dress about to marry John, Todd vowed he wouldn't stand for that and came back to life.

Blair told Starr there was a minor setback — Todd's heart stopped. She and Starr cried together. Starr assured Dani they weren't giving up. Dani said she had had a change of heart — she didn't know how she felt about Todd. As the women hugged, Todd's eyes opened. John came into the room and promptly arrested him.

Cris arranged to have the diner all to himself and Layla. Hinting that it was for a special occasion, he kissed Layla. This was how she deserves to be treated "now and forever," Cris said, then got down on one knee and said he was grateful that Layla stuck with
him. "You are just an amazing woman and the only woman for me," he said as he uncovered the main course. Layla was poking through her food to see if there was an engagement ring when Jessica showed up outside the diner. Spotting Layla and Cristian, she was crestfallen.

Charlie told Viki all about his new project. She was delighted he was so excited about it. Jessica walked in and wanted to know who Charlie was. "You are the one who shot me," she said somberly. An apologetic Charlie tried to explain it was a mistake, and said he wanted to find a way to make it up to her. Since she didn't remember, they have a clean slate, said Jessica. When she announced was going to the prom solo, Charlie suggested she'd have a better time with Brody — she still owes Brody a date. Viki was impressed with how Charlie manipulated Jessica into asking Brody to the prom. As soon as Brody said yes, Jessica immediately hung up the phone.

Friday

At the hospital Matthew visited Bo, who was happy to be leaving the next day.
Matthew admitted he was worried about Dani, who had witnessed Cole's beating of Todd.
Matthew wanted to find Dani and tell her everything was going to be okay,
"even if it isn't." Bo empathized with his son about the Buchanan curse --
they wanted to help people even if they didn't want the help. Give Dani some room, urged Bo, and let Dani know
he's holding a lifeline for her. "Nobody comes to the rescue better than
Buchanan," Bo said proudly. Matthew hinted that there might be another guy in the picture.

When Dorian fretted about Kelly’s safety, Kelly
reminded her aunt that Mitch was in the state pen. There was a small
explosion outside the window and Dorian grabbed a poker from
the fireplace. The doorbell rang and the
two women jumped, but it was just Eli, there to pick up
Blair for a date. Pleased that Blair was
dating a nice man for a change, Dorian had Eli take a seat in the living room and
explained that she and Kelly had been discussing
Melinda's death, bringing him up to speed on the Rodney situation as
well. Eli advised Kelly to listen to Dorian, who wished Kelly had a
boyfriend like Eli. Cole put Todd in the hospital, Eli reported. "Way
to go, Cole," Dorian said with glee.

Kelly headed to the hospital to check on Todd and support Blair and Starr, refusing Dorian's offer of a body guard. Dorian called Shaun and asked
him to protect Kelly. There was another noise outside Dorian's window and
English fellow arrived at Dorian's door looking for Kelly.

Marty asked Greg to sign her release forms, but Greg wouldn't until she
arranged for someone to take her home. Marty called Cole's phone and got
Brody, who told her that Cole had been arrested. Marty rushed to the
police station. "He tried to kill Todd Manning," Brody explained to Marty.
Marty was convinced it was a lie. "John knows all about it," Cole admitted.
Eli showed up to be Cole's lawyer. "Why?" Marty sighed. Cole said that
Hannah saw Todd push Marty. Hannah told Marty and Eli what she had seen, and
apologized for having left Marty there. Cole said hearing Hannah's
words made him want to kill Todd. John told them that Todd was alive and under
arrest, and Cole would have to spend the night in jail. Marty thanked Hannah and headed
home, reliving the argument she had with Todd right before she was pushed. Starr
rushed into the police station for a few words with Cole. Starr was upset
that Cole didn't care that Todd would be okay. "I care about you," Cole
said. Starr wanted a word with Hannah.

A barely conscious Todd asked for Viki at the hospital. John entered the
hospital room and promptly arrested Todd for the attempted murder of Marty and the
murder of her unborn child. "You can't be serious," Tea gasped. Todd's heart just stopped and aghast Blair informed him. Shaken, Dani rushed out to the lobby
and ran into Viki, who knew who she was. Dani fell into Viki's arms and
told her about what had happened with Todd. Tea was so sorry that Dani had to see
"all that," confirming that Todd was arrested and would be put on
trial. Horrified that Tea was going to represent Todd, Dani stormed off. Viki went after her. "I don't get my mother," Dani
cried. She and Tea both love Todd, comforted Viki. "He's my brother and
he's done terrible things and because of that he's an easy mark. But I still
love him," she added. Viki explained that Todd really really does love his children, and
assured her niece that she would support Dani's decision "no matter what." Dani
thanked Viki for listening. Both Tea and Matthew texted Dani, who threw her
phone away. Nate found it and returned it to her.

Todd was a victim of a violent crime, Tea argued to John. Todd wanted to
press charged against Cole, but John said there was an eyewitness to Todd
pushing Marty. Handcuffing Todd to the bed, John said that Marty would
file a wrongful death suit against Todd — and a jury would
find him guilty. “Get me out of this," Todd told Tea, then swore to Starr that he had nothing to do with Marty losing her baby and begged for her help, too. “I love you,” Blair told her father as she left the room. "Is that
baby dead because of you?" Blair demanded to know. Kelly showed up and asked
how everyone was doing. Blair explained that there was an eyewitness who saw
Todd push Marty. Kelly believed Todd, much to Blair's surprise. Kelly
couldn't imagine Todd pushing a pregnant woman, she explained, then started arguing with Blair. Todd wanted Cole's
face on the front page of the newspaper, but Kelly refused. Blair said she'd
kill Todd if she found out that Todd was responsible for "that baby's
death." Blair cornered Kelly in the hospital elevator.

Greg wanted to talk to Tea for a minute about her test results. Marty found
Todd alone at the hospital.
