One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of August 17, 2009

Monday

Nora told Bo she didn't want to make a big deal about a kiss "that meant nothing." "If it meant nothing, then why didn't we just tell Clint?" Bo asked his ex-wife. Bo and Nora told Matthew that they know that Téa knows about the kiss. They thanked him for not using it against them. "I didn't want Uncle Clint to get hurt," he told his parents.

Elijah asked Téa to have Matthew drop his lawsuit. He threatened to wipe up the floor with her. "You have no idea what I'm made of," she said. Elijah
wanted to know Téa's big secret. Elijah said that "if Todd knew what I know there might not be anymore Todd and Téa." Elijah gave Téa a piece of paper which clearly stunned her. She could barely start her opening statement. "I don't have an opening statement," a shaken Téa told a judge. "Is she okay?" Destiny asked. Matthew wondered the same. Téa decided to put Matthew on the witness stand.

Schuyler asked Rachel out for a burger but she was preoccupied with
Matthew's court case. Rachel added that Greg had bugged her the previous
night on their double date. Greg entered the office ready to apologize. Schuyler slipped out of the office. Rachel lied when she said she hadn't been talking about him to Schuyler. The two began to squabble again. "How come we always end up arguing?" Greg asked.

Jack wondered what Blair would think of Téa and Todd living together at
Todd's house. Todd told his son he'd talk to Blair and take care of everything. Todd called Téa and said that Jack had given their romance the
go-ahead. Todd found Blair and told her he would be filing for joint custody.
Todd asked Blair what she was holding behind her. They fought over the file
and Todd eventually saw it was filled with papers on Téa. "What the hell are you up to?" he asked.

Cristian wondered to Blair why he was causing trouble for the "happy couple"
Fish and Layla. Cris refused to tell Blair who he saw Fish kiss. "This is
really complicated," he said. Blair guessed that Cris saw Fish kiss a man.
Cristian added that Fish and Layla had just had sex. Blair thought Fish
might be bi-sexual. Cris wondered if he "should just let this go." Blair and
Cris discussed the fact that she thought Cris was interested in Layla and he
thought Blair still has feelings for Todd.

At the gym, Fish apologized to Kyle for what had happened and said he had
figured some things out: "I have the life that I want. Layla and I are together. Like together together." Fish told his ex-boyfriend strongly implying that they had had sex. Kyle looked at Fish in disbelief as he said again that their past relationship had been a college phase. Kyle begged Fish for a one-on-one to talk things out, but Fish made it clear he wasn't interested in any more contact. Cris caught them again. This time Kyle's hand was on Fish's shoulder. Kyle explained he had asked Fish if they could reconnect, but Fish said no. Kyle confirmed Fish's story that he is now in love with Layla. Kyle walked off and Cristian and Fish made eye contact. Fish asked Cris if he was now satisfied.

Kim suggested to Stacy that she get pregnant via a sperm bank. Kim started
to make a list of possible guys who could father her baby. First name up — Schuyler. "Apparently I'm not attractive without drugs," Stacy said.
Schuyler was put on the list as a back up. She remembered a guy named
"Tuna". "He was cute in a dorky sort of way," Stacy added. "He was someone I
could pretend was Rex." Stacy added Kyle's name to the list and added that
he was cute. Stacy and Kim decided that Kyle would be the father of her
baby.

Tuesday

Todd asked Blair why she had a file on Téa. Blair admitted she was having someone investigate Téa. "Why?" Todd asked. Blair insisted that Téa was holding a big secret and she was determined to find out what it was. Todd accused Blair of being jealous that Todd and Téa were building a life together. Talk returned to that moment in the cabaa. Blair told her ex that she could have Todd any time she wanted. "Right here and right now," she said as she started to kiss him and then bit him. Todd told Blair that things were over between them and that he was going to make things work with Téa.

Saying he was certain Téa would tell him the secret when she wanted to, Todd claimed that he had changed. "It's different with Téa," he explained — then tore up all the papers Blair had on Téa! Blair immediately called Rex for another set.

Téa began to question Matthew in his wheelchair. He recounted the events after the car accident and the moment he learned that he would never walk again. Matthew admitted that he tried to be okay for his parents but he
wasn't. Téa pointed out to the courtroom that he was a jock before the
accident. Téa talked about the arrival of Greg Evans in Matthew's life.
Matthew told the courtroom that his parents didn't really like Dr. Evans, and
that he wanted the chance to walk again. "I'm 15 I'm not 6, but I'm willing to take that chance," he told the courtroom. Nora and Bo listened intently.

Elijah cornered Téa. Destiny told Matthew he was awesome. Nora and Bo approached their son. They admitted that what he had just said was tough to
hear. Elijah began questioning Matthew and asked him if his bad decisions had
forced him into the car.

Rex pulled apart an embracing Schuyler and Gigi. "What part of this do I not
get?" Rex snapped at them. Schuyler tried to explain that he had been hugging Gigi goodbye. Rex told Schuyler he was hung up on a girl who is "already taken." Rex wanted Schuyler to admit that he was on the make. Schuyler reminded Rex that he has "this amazing woman." Schuyler said goodbye to Gigi. Gigi begged Rex to trust her. "I want things to be right between us," she said. "We spend 90 percent of our time fighting. Are we ever going to be okay again?" she wondered. Rex suggested that he and Gigi focus just on "us." "We can't let anyone screw with us again," Gigi declared and the two cemented their love with a kiss.

Stacy and Kim reviewed the list of possible fathers for her baby. Stacy placed a call to Kyle. Kyle agreed to meet Stacy and take care of "unfinished business." Stacy got all dolled up, ready to seduce Kyle, but as she came on to him, Kyle, was clearly uncomfortable. "What are you doing? Are you seducing me?" he asked. "You want me to, don't you?" Stacy purred. "Actually no," he told a startled Stacy. Kim appeared and suggested a threesome. Kyle told them he was gay, and left. Stacy immediately dialed sperm donor number 2, Oliver.

At the gym, Oliver watched as Kyle chatted up a new young man and they
exchanged numbers. Kyle said goodbye to Oliver, who flashed back to
their last kiss. Oliver gave Nick a vague warning about Kyle, but when Kyle
called him, Nick made plans to meet.

Rachel and Greg talked about how they weren't attracted to each other though
clearly they were. Greg said that she wasn't his type. Rachel told Greg he
avoided his feelings. Frustrated, Greg stormed out. A solemn Schuyler came
into Rachel's office and told her he had to quit Gigi cold turkey. Rachel
was sympathetic and said that sometimes the right thing was the hardest
thing to do.

Wednesday

Langston was taken aback when Starr announced that she has no plans to
return to school and asked Starr if she's sure she wants to be a high school
dropout. Starr wanted to be as hands-on as possible with Hope, but Langston
convinced her that she can go to school and be a devoted mom.

Elijah questioned Matthew about his accident, although he'd already rehashed
it with Téa, and got him to admit that he wasn't wearing his seatbelt the
night he was thrown from Cole's car. Destiny spoke out of turn in Matthew's
defense but the judge asked her to sit down. Matthew became agitated with
Elijah's questioning and pointed out that his parents have done something
that they probably regret, too. After the judge called it a day, Elijah
threatened Téa with his piece of paper again. She ripped it up and tossed it in his face.

Jessica told Brody that she's afraid she's losing her mind seeing Nash all
over town, but he assured her that wasn't the case. Jessica decided to
consult Madame Delphina, who agreed to give her the recession special on a
séance. As they lit candles and began to contact Nash, the doors suddenly
blew open.

Sergei confronted Cole at the rehab center about his connection to John.
Cole explained that his mom's dating a cop, whether he likes it or not, then
suggested that they start selling drugs to freshmen at Llanview University.
Sergei made sure to mention Cole's "baby girl" before leaving Cole, then
made a call to a higher up expressing his skepticism about Cole.

David and his camera crew arrived at the Buchanan mansion and tried to charm
his way in, but Nigel wasn't having it. David began to explain to the
cameras his sordid family history, while Priscilla distracted Nigel with
some heavy tickling. Meanwhile, Jared and Natalie explained to Clint about
the DVD. David managed to get into the living room, and an ornery Clint
quickly told him to get out. David zeroed in on "former trailer trash"
Natalie. David crossed the line when he brought up Nash's accidental death
and even went so far as to mention Nora's history with Bo. Clint lunged at
David, then changed his mind about not signing the release form and told
everyone to make sure they get Clint killing him on tape. Clint returned
with a shotgun and aimed it right at his unwelcome nephew. Bo, Matthew and
Nora walked in just in time to witness Clint's threat. Clint demanded the
footage, while David played up his father-son reunion with Bo for the
cameras.

Thursday

David began taping his new reality show, "The Bucs," at the Buchanan Mansion.
He introduced all his relatives including Nora — "she has a half black
daughter with a drug problem" — and his brother, "the kid in the wheelchair." Clint aimed a shotgun at David but hit the mantel piece. David told the camera that "all I wanted was a father's love." David laid it on thick with
the camera, and announced that he had been paying Matthew's legal bills.
"Brothers to the end," Matthew said with a smile. Bo and Nora looked at each
other. Everyone was stunned. Nora started to strangle David; Clint had to
yank her off him. Clint and company chased David and the film crew out of
the house. Bo explained that David was his son and he needed to have a
relationship with him. Nora just gave Matthew a look. David returned and
told his brother he was surprised to learn that the operation he wanted could
kill him.

Brody told Jared and Natalie that Jessica was being stalked, adding that
Jessica thought she saw Nash. Jared and Natalie were worried. "Somebody is
out there, messing with her head," Brody said. Brody told them that Bree had
also seen him. Brody suggested Nash's parents might be stalking her but Jared
and Natalie didn't think that was possible.

At her house, Delphina assured "Nash" that he was among friends. The room
shook and puffs of smoke appeared. Jessica began talking to Nash. "I need
some answers," she said. Jessica kept talking to "Nash." Delphina told
Jessica that Nash was afraid for Jessica. Nash told Delphina there was
danger for Jessica "and the people you love."

Kyle, awkward during his first date with Nick, opened up about Oliver.
"He's a little repressed," he said. Nick revealed that someone had warned
him about Kyle and quickly figured out that the cop was his ex. Nick thought
the cop was still hung up on Kyle.

Oliver opened the door and saw a seductive Stacy standing in the hallway.
The candles and wine were not for Stacy, they were for Layla, Oliver said. Stacy tried to convince Oliver that she regrets not having a relationship with him after the red ball. Oliver kept running away from her. "You are not gay?" Stacy asked. "No," he said defensively.

Cristian and Layla wondered why they were both at Rodi's. Someone had set
that up, but who? Cris spotted Kyle on the date. Layla wondered if Oliver had
set their meeting up. Cris didn't want Layla to get hurt. Layla stormed out
of Rodi's and headed home. Cris and Layla walked in on Oliver kissing Stacy.
"Are you cheating on me?" Layla asked a red-faced Oliver. Oliver tried to
convince Layla that all the candles, flowers and wine were for her. Oliver
told Layla he loved her and they kissed. Cristian headed to his room.

Rex apologized to Schuyler for hassling him, then thanked him for helping
get the goods on Stacy.Rex suggested that Schuyler leave Llanview. Rex should put that kind of energy in his relationship with Gigi, countered Schuyler, who predicted that Rex would "drive Gigi away all on your own." Schuyler assured Rex that he would no longer be Gigi's friend, and accused Rex of being more concerned about Stacy and the baby than Gigi. And the wasn't going anywhere. After Rex left Schuyler was tempted to take a drug, but resisted the urge.

Friday

Marty entered her office for her first day at work. She was getting ready
for her first patient. John explained that Mayor Lowell was mad at him, not
her. He promised her he'd take care of Cole and the minute Cole appeared to
be in danger, John would pull him out of the undercover project. Marty and
John shared a goodbye kiss. "Be brilliant today," he said. Todd came into
Marty's office. He was her first patient. Marty was shocked but refused to
just sign his form; instead Marty began a session with Todd.

Mayor Lowell asked Viki about The Banner endorsement. Viki was going to
listen to what he had to say but refused to endorse him based on his record.
"I don't like the way you run this town," she said. Viki listed all the bad
things the Mayor had done. "John McBain saved Marty from my brother and you
persecuted him," Viki said. Lowell began his press conference and made eye
contact with John. Lowell said he had battled corruption. "I am fighting for
you," he said and then he made a jab at the Llanview Police Department. "I
am going to clean house," he said. Dorian applauded while Viki just
listened. Lowell told his cop to get inside of the McBain task force. Dorian
told Viki that she would be supporting Lowell. Dorian suggested that Viki
run for mayor.
B
Schuyler watched as Rex and Gigi talked about their night. They vowed not to
let anything come between them.

Schuyler arrived at work to find Kim waiting for him. Kim wondered what
Stacy had done to him to make him so mad at her. Schuyler told her all about
Stacy's scam to get Rex. He admitted that he had loved Stacy a while ago. He
wondered where the Stacy who took care of him in Vegas had gone. Kim told
him that Stacy had loved him (Schuyler) but he had a tough time believing
her. Kim thought Stacy was throwing away her life. "What are we going to do
about this?" Kim asked. "We?" Schuyler asked. Kim told Schuyler that Stacy
needed her. Kim wondered if Gigi knew how Schuyler felt about him. Kim
urged, make that begged, Schuyler to call Stacy.

Rex and Gigi ran into Stacy at Rodi's. Rex and Gigi were all over her about
the prenatal vitamins and her not having had a dr.'s appointment. Rex said
he'd take care of her medical expenses and demanded she make the doctor's
appointment right now. Stacy and Gigi started to argue. Gigi couldn't bear
it that Stacy wasn't working. Gigi was annoyed that Stacy was getting away
with walking over Rex. Rex didn't think that was true.

Kim came back to the loft. Stacy got a call from Schuyler and she was
excited that he wanted to see her.

Dorian called Blair on her dream about Todd. "Give him up," Dorian said.
Dorian knew all about Blair hiring Rex to investigate Téa's secret. Blair
said she wanted to do anything to protect her children and repeated again
that she didn't still want Todd.

Téa was surprised to see Todd at the bottom of the stairs. She walked in the room and was stunned to see Elijah. "What did you tell him?" a nervous asked Todd. Todd explained that he had hired him to get his children back. "We all have our little secrets," Elijah said with a knowing smile. Téa wanted a
moment alone with Elijah. Todd headed out for his shrink appointment."What
are you really doing with Todd? What do you want?" Téa asked. Téa brought up the name Ross Rayburn, who she was convinced was Elijah's real client. Téa told Elijah to tell Ross to go to hell.

Blair got a call from Rex. He had found Ross Rayburn.
