OLTL Week of December 24, 2007
Monday
Viki and Charlie were stranded in the snow after their date at the drive-in movies. They began dancing (and of course kissing) in the snow, and it become clear that they were ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Gigi hid her feelings when she realized Rex was planning to propose to his girlfriend. She feared that Rex would recognize that the diamond ring he bought had been Marcie's, but he didn't.
Nash wasn't too keen on Jessica's plan to impersonate Tess, but she decided to go ahead anyway. Natalie boasted to Jared that she had recently slept with John. Jared was upset but he tried not to let his jealously show. He gave Natalie his mother's locket.
The Cramer gals — Blair, Dorian and Starr — were stunned when Addie (Blair's mom and Dorian's sister) arrived, full of holiday cheer and sanity. Blair was thrilled to see her mom doing so well, but Dorian was rattled by Addie's new appearance.
Tuesday
Merry Christmas! OLTL was pre-empted today.
Wednesday
Viki and Charlie woke up in each other's arms after making love the night before. They talked about how good it felt to be together. Viki encouraged Charlie to approach his son again. Charlie agreed, but wanted Viki to come with him. She insisted he needed to go on his own, and they said a bittersweet goodbye.
Rex apologized to Adriana for missing Christmas. She asked if he got any leads on Marcie, and he told her what he found out. They decided to exchange their gifts, and Adriana went first. After thanking her, Rex retrieved hers.
She unwrapped...a vacuum. An infuriated Adriana put on her coat and was about to storm out the door when Rex begged her to help him get out whatever was stuck inside of the vacuum. She grabbed it from him, stuck her hand in and pulled out...a ring! She looked at Rex in shock as he got down on one knee and proposed.
Natalie showed up at John's with Chinese take-out as a peace offering. She was about to tell him what she'd done when Jared showed up. Jared accused John of taking advantage of Natalie. John retaliated by punching Jared in the gut. Natalie told Jared he didn't know what he was talking about and Jared left. Natalie apologized to John for telling Jared about them sleeping together, but John was left with questions.
Dorian warned Blair not to get her hopes up about Addie. They walked in as Addie gave "Rick" some money and sent him off. Blair laughed when Addie told them he was a masseuse she found in the newspaper. Dorian saw The Sun's headline about Jared being a Buchanan, but knew it was a lie since she'd overheard Jared's conversation with his real father. She rushed to tell Clint the truth. Meanwhile, Blair and Addie bonded.
Nigel reluctantly handed Clint the paper. He read the headline and angrily insisted it was just a way for Jared to make a quick buck. Nora consoled him, and they embraced. Dorian walked in as they were about to kiss. Clint reminded Dorian that they had broken up, and asked why she was there. She told him it didn't matter anymore, and accused Nora of taking advantage of Clint's grief. Nora sniped back and Jared walked in as they argued. Dorian asked to speak with Jared privately. They were interrupted by a call from Blair, who was looking for Addie. She had gone missing after Blair left the room for a minute.
Mrs. Williamson chatted up Vincent as the doorbell rang. Layla found Cristian there, and he told her he wasn't leaving until he saw Evangeline. Mrs. Williamson opened the door, obviously overhearing them arguing, and told Cristian that when she cleaned out Evangeline's apartment she had found pictures of him and thrown them all away. She accused him of being the reason Evangeline was in a coma. Layla and Vincent defended him, and Layla suggested that Cristian could be the one person who could get through to Evangeline. Finally, Mrs. Williamson agreed, and Cristian headed upstairs to see her.
Thursday
Cristian told Evangeline how much he missed her. He told her he hoped being with her would help him figure out what he wanted, and asked if it was time for him to let her go — he wanted a sign. He told her he met someone, and she was great. He needed to know whether or not she wanted him to wait for her.
Her hand slowly slid away from his. Seeming to take that as a sign, he said he would always love her, and left.
Back in Llanview, Sarah went looking for Cris at Capricorn, and Antonio told her he didn't know where he was, just that he left a message asking him to cover for him. Sarah thought he was visiting Evangeline. The band came in, and Sarah got them settled. One of the band members recognized her as The Flash, told her he was a huge fan and thought she had an amazing voice.
Todd and Ramsey were sitting down at the diner looking for Gigi when Noelle came in asking Moe for her money. After agreeing to quadruple her pay, Moe convinced Noelle to return to work. Ramsey began chatting her up, and managed to trick Noelle into giving him the information he needed. Moe told Noelle he had some news — he'd gotten her back into the contest, so she was going to Dallas.
Marcie was sad that Gigi had sold her engagement ring, but assured Gigi that it was okay because Marcie needed the money. Gigi told her she sold it to a guy she went to high school with, and Marcie could tell it was a guy she had feelings for. Gigi then said she wasn't feeling great, and Marcie said she would cover her shift at the diner. She asked if the man noticed the engraved words on her ring. She told Gigi about the engraving and assumed the man hadn't noticed. Marcie wondered if the man was Shane's father. Gigi became enraged and reminded her Shane's father was dead.
She told her the man was there because of her. He was a PI, and she had told him Marcie was headed to Argentina. Gigi gave her some pictures to remember her by, and the two friends sadly said goodbye. In the hall, Gigi was approached by Todd and Ramsey. Ramsey had a gun, and suggested she rethink her story if she wanted to see her son again.
Michael told John he got the all clear in court, and he could get back to looking for Marcie. He told him the word was Marcie was headed for Argentina and he was going there that night. John opened a Christmas present Marty ordered before she died — a dartboard with Todd's face on it. They went ahead and played a game. Michael was going to leave, but John stopped him and said he didn't think Marcie was in Argentina. He offered to help him find out where she really was. John told him to go pack, because he had a plan.
Adriana kissed Rex and happily accepted his proposal. They went to bed together. After, Adriana noticed the ring was engraved, which he tried to stop her from reading. He claimed he didn't like what he had engraved because he thought she was independent, and the engraving said they were one. She asked where he got the ring, and Rex did his best to get her to stop talking about it.
Blair and Dorian showed up at the police station to report Addie missing. Talia asked for a photo, which they gave her. Dorian kicked herself for leaving the house. They tracked down a cab that had probably picked her up. Meanwhile, Addie was ordering Champagne at Capricorn. Christian spotted her and was about to call Blair when Talia, Blair and Dorian rushed in. All eyes landed on Addie, who was being shown how to play the guitar by the band. Blair and Dorian gave her a hard time, but Addie wanted to celebrate. Blair convinced her they just wanted her to celebrate at home with them and the kids, and she finally agreed to leave. The same band member that complimented her earlier asked Sarah if she had a date for New Year's Eve, and when she said no, he asked if she would like to hang out during his breaks. She told him she would save him some confetti. Antonio asked Talia if there was anything that would change her mind about leaving Llanview. She said she was looking forward to starting 2008 in a new job with a new partner. She turned to leave and he tried to stop her, but she told him there was nothing left to say.
Friday
Starr, Langston and Markko prepared to celebrate New Year's. Starr called Cole, wondering why he wasn't there yet. Cole was playing video games with Jared and stopped to take the call, telling Starr he didn't feel like coming over. He told her he loved her and to have fun. Starr hung up, shocked. Langston and Markko tried to convince her that it was okay, and that Cole had good reason to be upset. She wasn't having any of it; she wanted to take care of him. As Cole sat back down, Jared expressed his surprise that he blew his girlfriend off. Cole conceded that he could see why Jared thought it was weird, but he didn't want to go and pretend like he was having a good time. Jared told Cole about a girl he'd met that didn't work out. He told Cole he had a great girl and he should reconsider being with her. Just then, Nigel told Cole he had a visitor, and Starr walked in. She asked him to come back with her. He used Jared as an excuse, but Jared and Nigel didn't back him up, so he had no choice but to go with her. Jared invited Nigel to play video games with him, but Nigel only reminded him that if he hadn't posed as Asa's son he wouldn't be alone on New Year's Eve. Back at Dorian's, Markko and Langston flirted and kissed. Starr and Cole came in, and Markko and Langston said how happy they were that he came. Markko took him in, and Starr told Langston she was going to get Cole through this. Together they counted down to the New Year, and both couples kissed at the stroke of midnight.
Cristian ran into Talia at the bus terminal. She told him she was moving, and he questioned her reasons. He wanted to know what Antonio thought about her leaving. Talia told him Antonio was just not that into her, and Cris suggested she fight for him, or give him time. She told him she couldn't waste time, and Cris wished her a Happy New Year and left. Talia thought back on her time with Antonio.
Rex and Adriana were flirting when John and Michael showed up at the door.
They told Rex they needed a few details from his trip to Texas. Much to Rex's horror, Michael noticed Adriana's ring was the exact same ring he had given Marcie, right down to the inscription. Rex admitted he got it from the waitress he questioned in Texas — Gigi — and that she told him she was selling it for a friend. Adriana gave it to Michael and Michael confirmed it was Marcie's ring. Based on this, they decided Marcie hadn't left Texas when Gigi said she did. They decided to head to Texas, and Adriana told Michael to keep the ring. Rex told Adriana how sorry he was. She told him she just wished he had told her the inscription came with the ring, but she loved him for trying to make it special for her. They counted down to the New Year, and kissed.
At Capricorn, Shaun gave Antonio a hard time about Talia and told him he'd made a mistake when he dissed her. Layla and Vincent talked about their relationship and their trip home. They both agreed it was a good thing Cristian got to see Evangeline. Vincent sent Shaun off to buy a drink for the girl he missed out on while he was pretending to be Talia's boyfriend. Shaun explained the story to the girl, and she was still into him. Sarah complimented the band guy, and he continued to flirt with her. He asked her to go on tour with the band — he was offering her a job. He wondered what was stopping her, and she asked for a minute to think about it. She gave him a hug just as Cristian walked in and their eyes met. Sarah told him she would let him know at midnight, and excused herself. She made her way to Cris, who asked if they could talk. As soon as Evangeline's name came out of his mouth she walked away. Cris told Antonio about seeing Evangeline and running into Talia at the bus station. He told her she wasn't gone yet, but she would be soon. Then he left to find Sarah, but when he caught up with her, she kept blowing him off, telling him he guy from the band thought she was worth taking a chance on. When the clock struck midnight, she was about to lean in to a kiss with the boy from the band, but Cris grabbed her, spun her around, and kissed her.
Natalie and Roxy visited Miles. Roxy pulled Natalie into the hall and told her to keep her paws off her man. Natalie quickly denied that there she had any romantic intentions, but questioned if Miles realized he was Roxy's man. Roxy told her to go home so she could have Miles to herself. Natalie agreed, and told her she hoped she got everything she wanted. Roxy rushed back into his room and jumped on top of him, laying a big kiss on his lips as Natalie sadly walked away. Meanwhile, Jared found himself staring at a "Game Over" screen.
Antonio went to the bus terminal, where he stopped Talia from boarding her bus. He grabbed her and kissed her passionately.
