OLTL Week of December 6, 2010
Monday
As John read a baby book, Natalie assured him he'd be just fine as a dad. She thought it was odd that Marty had taken back her gift to John.
Kelly reported to Rex that she was just a drink away from telling Joey she loves her; Rex gave her a pep telling her how great she is.
At Marty's house, she began talking to Cole's photo about how she didn't want to hurt John and take away his baby. After she left, Rex picked the lock and let himself in. After frantically going through Marty's trash, he found the DNA report in a photo album filled with photos of Cole. Rex read the paper as Marty returned home and fumbled for her keys.
Joey proposed to Aubrey in front of Viki and Clint. Clint urged his son to slow down for a second. Viki agreed that it might be too soon for them to have the conversation. Joey apologized for his parents and begged Aubrey to say yes, but replied that while she loves him, there was no reason to spoil it by rushing things. Aubrey left for a minute and Joey blamed his parents for costing him Aubrey. Clint reminded Joey that before you marry someone you should check them out thoroughly. "I should know," he said soberly.
Dorian saw Charlie and Echo locked in a passionate kiss. Charlie begged Echo to stop, insisting, "It can't happen again." Echo begged for another chance with Chuckles but Charlie declared that he was very much in love with his wife. Looking devastated, a drunk Echo began to cry and said she was leaving Llanview. Charlie managed to get Echo to stay and agreed to keep the kiss a secret, "as long as there is no repeat performance."
Bo got a text from Nora saying she didn't know if she could ever forgive him. But in fact Eddie had sent the text. A tied up Nora begged to talk to Bo, and reminded Eddie that kidnapping is a felony. Meanwhile, a worried Bo explained to Inez that he and Nora had fought over her.
Eddie read aloud the email he had sent to Bo from Nora. In it, he mentioned Sam Rappaport. Bo told Inez that the emails didn't sound like Nora. "Maybe it wasn't her," Inez suggested. Bo sent his wife a message, Eddie replied to, then stormed out. Bo read that Nora wants him to sleep with Inez.
Dorian showed up at the Palace and ran into Kelly at the bar. Dorian made a dig about the fact that Kelly wasn't in a relationship. She still has feelings for Joey, Kelly admitted. Dorian gave her niece her blessing, then met with Viki to report the Echo/Charlie kiss.
Kelly ran into Aubrey in the bar. They toasted both getting their men. Kelly went on her way to find Joey, as Aubrey called a mystery person with news that Joey had proposed.
Clint and Joey argued over lunch. After Clint left, Kelly slipped into his spot. She asked Joey what he wanted to tell her. Joey looked at an engagement ring.
Tuesday
Gigi posed the model for the art class. Langston joked that she wasn't missing sex, but Starr thought Langston's six-month no-sex rule was ridiculous. Langston kept imagining the model was Ford and couldn't focus on her drawing. Starr was worried when James was a no-show in class.
James was punching the bag at the gym when Eddie came up from behind and started taunting him. Before long they began sparring in the ring.
Ford ran into Aubrey at the bar. Apparently they had met at a film festival a few years earlier. Aubrey hinted that her scene was changing. "I met someone," she said with a smile. Both said they had changed. Dorian saw Ford hug Aubrey goodbye and began interrogating Ford, who insisted he could be abstinent.
Kelly asked Joey if he was proposing to her, but Joey explained the engagement ring was for someone else. A crestfallen Kelly admitted said that Kevin had told her Joey wasn't seeing anyone. It had been love at first sight, gushed Kevin, adding that he wanted Kelly to meet her. Kelly agreed with Joey's parents that maybe Joey was moving too fast. When Aubrey joined them, she and Kelly realized they had been talking about the same man. Joey asked Kelly to help convince Aubrey to marry him, then poured champagne and asked Kelly what her big news was.
Viki refused to believe it when Dorian told her she saw Charlie kissing Echo. Meanwhile, Charlie reluctantly assured an anxious Echo that he wouldn't spill to Viki about the kiss. Brody entered the room and wondered who was keeping secrets. Echo joked with Brody that she was drunk. "That's the secret?" Brody asked, and Echo nodded in agreement. Viki came home and wanted to speak to Charlie alone. She asked Charlie if he had anything to tell her and when he said nothing, she told him about Dorian spying the kiss. As Echo eavesdropped, Charlie insisted the kiss meant nothing. Viki rebuffed Charlie's attempt to kiss her.
Rex read that Brody was the father of Natalie's baby as Marty began to open the door. Rex managed to slip out undetected, but not before photographing the document. Marty read a letter from the hospital saying she was on probation and told the photograph of Cole that she's going to have to play her cards right.
Rex pulled Gigi out of the classroom to tell her about the paternity test that said Brody was the father of Marty's baby. Gigi dismissed the class and urged Rex to talk to Natalie directly. Rex showed up at Llanfair and told Brody he needs to talk to Natalie.
Starr and Langston decided to take a self-defense class. At the gym, they walked in on the James/Eddie fight. When Eddie knocked James out, Langston summoned Ford, who made a deal with Eddie: if Ford wins a fight, Eddie will leave town.
Wednesday
Ford wanted to make a deal with Eddie: if Ford wins the boxing match, Eddie leaves town. Eddie said he'd be happy to beat up Ford, for old times' sake, but wanted to wait and do it in front of a crowd. Langston panicked when Ford confided he'd never boxed before. Both James and Ford admitted what they really wanted was to kill Eddie.
As Joey snuggled with Aubrey, Kelly claimed she was in love ... with Kevin. Joey hammered Kelly with questions, which Kelly successfully dodged, then convinced Joey not to call his brother. Joey agreed, then left to tell Viki that Aubrey had accepted his proposal. Aubrey assured Kelly she wouldn't tell Joey that Kelly loved him, and suggested Kelly consider getting back together with Kevin. Joey came back to report that Viki approved of the engagement, then he and Aubrey headed upstairs to celebrate. Kelly left The Palace dining room struggling to hold back tears.
In Bo's office, Matthew wanted Bo to sign a permission slip that would let him skip the last period of school so he could work at BE. Bo said no, then admitted he and Nora had had a fight and she wasn't responding to his phone calls. Matthew accused his dad of "cozying up to Nate's mom" and stormed off.
A frustrated Clint told Vimal that he was convinced Aubrey was a gold-digger, then directed Vimal to forget about Rex being his son. Vimal wondered if he was also supposed to forget about changing Clint's daughters' paternity tests. When Vimal pushed for a promotion, Clint made it sure Vimal knew he'd be blamed if any of it got leaked. Matthew interrupted the conversation and wondered why Vimal looked upset, then told Clint that his parents had had a bad fight. Bo looked pretty friendly with Clint's girlfriend, Matthew added. He and Inez broke up, Clint replied. Inez called wanting to know if Clint anything to do with Nora's disappearance. Sleep with Bo tonight she'd never have to worry about Eddie Ford again, instructed Clint. Matthew told Clint about his conversation with Vimal. "Charlie isn't Rex's dad. You are," Matthew said.
Rex came to Llanfair with Natalie's paternity test, but Gigi stopped him from giving the results to Brody. Rex thought Brody needed to know. Natalie came home and wanted to know what was going on. "Is Brody the father of your baby?" Rex asked. Natalie admitted that her baby had been conceived one "horrible, horrible night." "I know what it's like to get drunk and sleep with the wrong person," Rex said, and promised to keep quiet. Natalie asked Rex how he found out and he showed her the copy of the DNA report he'd found at Marty's.
At the Minuteman Motel, Nora struggled to get out of the ropes that bound her, and wondered if Inez was behind her kidnapping. Managing to move herself to the bed, Nora turned on the TV with the remote control and her feet. The volume was so loud the other residents complained. Eddie returned to the motel and pretended to punch Nora. John got a call from someone at the motel and wanted to send Brody there, but Brody thought it was just some guy complaining about something silly.
Inez told Bo about the fight that was to happen between Eddie and Ford. After Bo headed out, she started to cry and told John she needed professional help. John gave her Marty's name.
Bo showed up at the gym, where Ford explained he has a chance to get "this SOB out of my brother's life." Bo thought he'd try to rattle Eddie's cage.
Thursday
Clint admitted to Matthew, "I'm Rex's biological father." But since he believed Rex was still after the Buchanan fortune, Clint thought Charlie would be the better father for Rex. "Everybody wins," Clint said confidently. Matthew wasn't so sure Rex would go after the money, but Clint hinted that Matthew might not be ready to hear about happens "between adults." In fact, "Bo is cheating on your mom with Inez," Clint announced.
Charlie came home and was delighted to run into Rex in the foyer. "We lost a lot of time together," Charlie said, then offered to babysit Shane if Rex and Gigi wanted to go out. Charlie wondered if Rex might like to call him Dad.
Natalie was horrified to learn that Rex had found her DNA report at Marty's house. "I will not let Marty destroy Jessica, Brody and John because she hates me," Natalie declared, then rushed to Marty's office to confront her. Meanwhile, Inez was having a session with Marty. "I'm about to do something horrible to a good man," an exhausted Inez admitted, then told Marty about Bo (but didn't mention him by name). Natalie stormed in demanding to talk to Marty. "What do you think you are doing?" Marty demanded to know, then pretended not to have seen the report. Natalie vowed that Marty would lose her license if she told anyone that Brody was her baby's father ... then slapped her!
Brody arrived at Eddie's motel room door and asked Eddie who was in there with him. Eddie lied and said he had a lady in bed. "She's a screamer," he leered. After Brody left, Eddie removed the tape from Nora's mouth. After texting Bo, he came on to Nora.
Dani and Nate commiserated over having difficult dads. Nate assured Dani he was not in a rush to have sex with her, then they began to work on her biology assignment ... human sexuality.
At the boxing gym, Bo wondered where Eddie was. Ford was convinced Eddie would leave once Ford knocked him out. Langston and Starr pointed to Team Ford's secret weapon: former boxer Cristian. Cris started coaching Ford, and knocked Ford down. "This isn't going to work," James sighed.
Bo dropped by Inez' apartment and told Nate about Ford's idea to get rid of Eddie. When Inez showed up, Bo reported that Eddie was at the Minute Man motel, and that fight between Eddie and Ford was still on. Then he got a text from "Nora" asking, "did you sleep with her yet?" Inez went to fetch Bo a beer. "I can't do this," she cried...then dropped the pills she had just gotten from Marty in a beer meant for Bo.
Friday
Brody and Cristian showed Ford how to box. As Langston and Starr looked on in horror, Brody knocked down Ford as they sparred. "Walk away right now and I will have sex with you," Langston offered. Nate suggested to James that they cheat by doctoring Ford's gloves.
As Eddie unbuttoned her blouse, Nora wondered if he was going to rape her. But Eddie had to leave for the gym to fight Ford. James took a gun out of Eddie's gym bag. Eddie bragged that he could take them all on and then have time to do their girlfriends. (Charming.) Nate offered to take care of Eddie if James didn't.
After drinking beer Inez had drugged, Bo began to yawn. Inez didn't think he should drive. Bo thought about Nora as he grew more and more tired. Clint called Inez to ask if she had gotten it done. "Not yet," Inez replied.
Matthew though Clint's assertion was having an affair with Inez was a lie. "He would never do this to my mom," Matthew insisted. He would if he had a good reason, countered Clint, who urged Matthew to call his mother and ask her what was going on. Eddie picked up the call and told Matthew that Nora was tied up.
John ran into a jumpy Rex at Llanfair. Rex noted that John looked happy. He was, John answered with a smile, adding, "Natalie and a kid — that's pretty hard to beat." Rex reminded John that Natalie was terrified of failing him. "There's nothing she could do that would change the way I feel about her,"John said confidently. John told Rex that Eddie was at to the gym, hinting that now would be a good time to get into Eddie's room.
Natalie confronted Marty, who said Marty said she didn't want to hurt John but "he deserves so much more than you. Marty said she was thinking about when she would tell John the truth about the baby, taunting, "First little league game." Natalie stormed out. When she returned to John, he dropped to one knee and proposed!
Clint ordered Eddie to bring Nora to Inez' apartment so she'd see Bo with Inez, so Eddie had to take a rain check on the fight. Meanwhile, Inez was tortured about what to do with a passed-out Bo in her living room. Bo woke up and thinking he was with Nora, told Inez he needed her to make love to her. He began to kiss her.
As Rex let himself into Eddie's motel room, Eddie opened the door to Inez' apartment and saw Bo and Inez kissing.
