One Life To Live Recaps
OLTL Week of February 7, 2011
Monday
Jessica and Natalie hoped nothing would go wrong at their weddings. As Gigi helped fix their hair, a worried Natalie confided to Gigi that Marty was getting better and that she had remembered something about “me and the baby.”
Joh was delighted when Peter showed up at his door. Peter was glad that John had “gotten over Caitlin.” John admitted to some doubts about Natalie, since she was not always completely truthful with him. Peter suggested maybe John just had case of cold feet.
Nora tried to break up Bo and Clint’s fight. Vimal and Rama watched as Joey came between the two brothers. Rama thought Joey was hot, but assured her husband, “You are hotter.” Joey made Bo and Clint shake hands as Nora ran for ice for Bo’s face. Bo told Nora he was really close to telling everyone what a bitter man Clint had become.
Tomas showed up at Blair’s door with a bottle of wine from Paris. Blair thought it was strange he was there but was delighted to see him again.
Aubrey and Cutter about who might have evidence of their affair. Cutter thought he had figured out a way they could stay in Llanview. They joined Joey and Kelly at the church, and Kelly started flirting with Cutter.
Charlie was stunned when Viki questioned his loyalty, but said he still wanted to go to the wedding. Viki begged him to leave Echo out of their family, but Charlie was still upset Vikkie had kicked Echo out.
Rex didn’t like lying to Charlie about the “second” paternity test. He offered Brody a ride to the church, and Brody apologized for trying to take Shane away from him, and for shooting him. Rex was cool and told him that was all in the past. At the church, John told Brody he wanted to know what Marty might have wanted to say about Brody. Just then, the minister came by and informed them their brides were at the church.
Rama gave Vimal a pep talk, reminding him that Clint had committed the crime. Clint was furious to see Vimal and Rama at the door of the church but he had to escort his daughters down the aisle. The minister asked if there was anyone there who had a reason why the couples couldn’t wed....
Tuesday
Jessica and Brody and John and Natalie's wedding ceremony got underway. Just as the minister was about to start, Rama stood up and stopped the nups. Vimal was nervous and urged his wife to sit down. Much to Clint's chagrin, Rama refused to sit down. Aubrey advised her it's not the right time or place to come forward. Nat and Jess were confused. Clint stepped in when Rama pointed a finger at him for threatening her husband. Clint explained that Vimal used to work at BE. With the ceremony halted and everyone's attention on Clint, Vimal revealed that Clint hired him to change DNA tests. The wedding guests were understandably floored when Rama explained that Clint fudged Rex's paternity test results and that Charlie is not, in fact, Rex's father — Clint is. Clint admitted it's true and ranted against Rex, claiming he'd just try to get his grubby hands on the Buchanan money. Charlie was outraged and lunged after Clint. Charlie was also heartbroken. He emotionally apologized to Rex and ran out; Gigi and Rex followed him. Viki was shocked by Clint. "Who are you?" she seethed. Joey was equally miffed. Bo lashed out at Clint for tearing apart the family. Clint was unapologetic for everything, except for ruining his daughters' weddings. Jessica was eager to continue with the ceremony — until Vimal added that there's more and it has to do with her. He then spilled that he changed two paternity tests that day.
Langston accompanied Starr to Statesville so she could visit Cole. Starr wrestled with breaking up with him but knew it was the best thing to do, especially so she can be with James. Lang encouraged her to be strong and to show him respect by being honest with him about her feelings for James. Starr summoned the courage to do it; Langston was there to support her emotional pal afterward. Back at home, James got hot and heavy with Michelle and they made out. They moved to the bedroom. Starr returned home to tell James about her breakup with Cole. She knocked on James's door, just as he was getting undressed with Michelle.
Tomas paid Blair a visit, explaining that he's on the way to New York. She was surprised, but their chemistry was still palpable and they flirted. Blair rejected him and sent him away. He explained that he's in town for another night; she directed him toward Angel Square for accommodations. Before he left, Tomas read Blair's palm and said that she's got a big journey in her future and he's sad he won't be a part of it.
Gigi comforted Rex, who worried about being compared to Clint. Meanwhile, Charlie found himself at Rodi's, where he ordered a vodka, straight up.
Wednesday
Ford showed up wearing a hotdog suit and a funny rap about the new hot dog joint he's been working for since Clint got him fired from his campus job at Llanview U. Langston, who was babysitting Hope, was amused but felt bad for Ford, who was obviously humiliated. He didn't want to talk about it and changed the subject back to his and Langston's big Valentine's Day date. She felt awkward kissing him in front of the baby. "You're a giant wiener!" Lang squealed. "You'll never look at a hot dog the same way again," Ford grinned. They flirted and happily talked about the countdown to the end of their six-month moratorium on sex.
When James didn't answer his door, Starr gave him a call but there was no answer. He was busy making out with Michelle. She stopped them from almost having sex, however, because she didn't want to get hurt and could sense that James still has feelings for Starr. Meanwhile, Starr decided to leave James a note but couldn't tell him about her breakup with Cole on paper. Starr hid as she saw a shirtless James saying good-bye to Michelle, but James spied her and asked her what's going on. Starr covered about why she's there and was privately heartbroken. She told him nothing's wrong and left.
At the double wedding, Vimal revealed he changed another paternity test. The tension in the room was high as Jessica and Natalie nervously looked at Vimal to find out whose test he switched. Clint was on edge. Finally, Vimal admitted to changing Jessica's paternity test. Jess's jaw dropped. She was devastated. Viki and Nat consoled her. Brody lashed out at Vimal, who then revealed that Ford fathered Jess's baby. Vimal apologized to Jess, adding that he doesn't intend to hurt her but he had to do what Clint told him to. Brody and Jess were then given the test results confirming their worst fears. Viki angrily looked on as Clint told tearful Jess that she deserves all the happiness in the world and that's all he had in mind when he asked Vimal to change the test. He didn't, however, apologize for what he'd done. Jess ran off.
John asked Natalie why she had a paternity test. They walked off together to discuss it. John told her that Marty's out of St. Ann's. Nat panicked and worried about protecting Liam. John called Nat's bluff, adding that Marty broke out of St. Ann's to tell him about Nat and Brody. He asked Nat to tell him if it's true. She played dumb; he called her a liar. Meanwhile, Brody was broken up about the revelation that Ryder isn't his son and told Jess he can't handle it. She apologized for sleeping with Ford and was overwhelmed about ruining her relationship with Brody. Brody, however, assured her that it has nothing to do with her and blamed himself for everything. He told Jess he's a liar and finally came clean about his one-night stand with Natalie. A tearful Natalie confessed the same to a shocked and dismayed John.
Back at the chapel, Viki continued to lash out at Clint for his misdeeds,
pointing out that he's poisoned everything and everyone he's touched. Bo and Nora were trying to figure out if they could arrest Clint for what he'd done. Bo detained Vimal and arrested Clint, claiming that he tampered with medical records. Clint scoffed. Nora knew the charges against Clint wouldn't stick. Before he was led away, Clint passed Kelly a video and whispered in her ear that if she really cares about Joey, she'll show it to him. Meanwhile, Cutter and Aubrey were happy that their problems with Clint seemed to be over.
Ford played with Hope. Langston couldn't help noticing how well he got along with kids. He confided in Langston about the big mistake he made by sleeping with Jessica and didn't even want to discuss the possibility of what would happen if he would be a part of Jess's baby's life. "It doesn't matter anyway because Brody's the father," he snapped.
Shaun went to Roxy's for a manicure, saying he was too hung over to attend Jessica and Nat's wedding. Instead, he noshed on a hot dog. Destiny showed up, also enjoying a hot dog. She was upset that Darren had sent her flowers for Valentine's Day. Shaun tried to persuade Des to give Darren a second chance. They bonded. She told him about her kiss with Matthew, then asked about her mother. Shaun was uncomfortable. They left together to grab another hot dog.
Starr returned home and was bummed about her encounter with James. Langston asked what's going on and wondered why she's not getting ready for her Valentine's date with James. Starr said she thinks James is sleeping with Michelle.
Thursday
Natalie admitted to John that she slept with Brody, explaining it was the night she wrote him the note. "I thought that our chance was over. I was leaving Llanview for good," she cried. "It was one horrible mistake." Next, a stunned John learned that Brody was Liam's father — and that Brody didn't know. John compared Natalie to Clint. "You are not god and neither is Clint!" he yelled. "I wanted to give this to you," she pleaded. John pointed out she couldn't just give him another man's child.
Brody confessed to Jessica that he'd slept with Natalie. Jessica wept as she asked Brody why he hadn't told her — she'd told him about Ford. "This was different," Brody explained, saying her relationship with Natalie was also at stake. Brody was devastated that he'd been a father, and now he wasn't.
Natalie, John, Brody and Jessica ran into each other in the church hallway....
As Ford looked at a book called "My Daddy," Starr told Langston she had seen Michelle and James together. "It was obvious what had just happened," cried a devastated Starr. Though she still thought breaking up with Cole was the right thing to do, she was disappointed she wasn't able to move on with James. Langston urged Starr to tell James everything, even if he had slept with Michelle.
When Nate dropped by James' apartment, James confided that he didn't know how to move on from his feelings for Starr. Nate shared that he and Dani "hadn't done it," and said Dani was a virgin...but he wasn't. Ford came home and learned that Nate wanted to take the next step with Dani. It was worth waiting for, he advised his brother. When Ford told James that Starr visited Cole, he didn't include the fact that she had broken up with him.
At the diner with Todd and Dani, Tea was upset that she was missing the wedding. Todd got a call about what happened at the wedding, and filled in his family about Vimal's confession. Todd said he wanted to follow Dani and Nate on their Valentine's Day date because although he trusted his daughters, he didn't trust the men in their lives, especially the Ford brothers. Tea sighed. Todd said he felt sorry for Ford, since some other man would be raising his son. When he got a mysterious call from someone, Todd suggested he and Tea go to New York.
Dani rushed into the Ford apartment and told Nate she just learned that Ford is the father of Jessica's baby. Nate couldn't believe it. Dani explained what had happened at the wedding. Ford came out, wrapped in a towel.
Joey was devastated at what Clint had done to his sisters and Rex. Cutter tried to look on the bright side, smirking, "Nothing worse could happen."
Kelly read the note Clint had written for Joey, to go with the USB he had hoped to give him. As Aubrey and Cutter watched, she handed the incriminating USB to Joey. Cutter fetched his laptop so they could all watch it together. While Aubrey fretted that the information might be from the hidden camera in their room, Cutter quietly switched the USB. They watched a restaged version of Cutter and Aubrey, which didn't show them kissing or making out. Joey read Kelly the riot act for thinking the worst of Aubrey. Cutter and Aubrey realized that Clint had been the one taping them. Kelly thought there was something else Joey needed to see. Aubrey suggested to Joey that they get married immediately.
