OLTL Week of February 8, 2010
Monday
After being tossed into the blizzard by Mitch, Stacy wandered through the woods looking for Rex and suddenly went into labor for real. She fought through the pain and kept walking, talking to her stomach all the while. After admitting to the fetus that Fish is his or her dad, Stacy suddenly fell into a snow bank. Rex, meanwhile, checked out Schuyler's empty car with Fish and found the document indicating Schuyler as the baby's guardian if something happens to Stacy. As he tried to figure out why Stacy would do that, Fish couldn't hide that he knows something. Before Rex could grill Fish (no pun intended!), they smelled smoke and followed it to another crash site, where John's getaway car exploded. Rex was disturbed to hear that Natalie had been part of John's escape.
Elsewhere on the mountain, Schuyler was stumbling through the woods crying out, "I'm the father!" while John carried Natalie to safety. Natalie came to and told "Jared" that she thought they'd be together forever. John was initially confused, but played along for Natalie's sake. Fearing Jared would soon disappear, she asked him to just say three words: "I love you." John obliged, and Natalie returned the sentiment, then asked for a kiss. For the first time in a long time, John planted a tender kiss on his ex. Meanwhile, Schuyler saw lights and made a beeline for Viki's cabin, but was suddenly knocked out by a falling branch.
While waiting for word on their daughters, Viki admitted to Clint how strange it was that Charlie seemed so certain that he'd rescue Jessica. Todd caught up with Starr and asked how Danielle is doing. She said she was doing her best to adjust to all the changes, but Starr wasn't sure she'd come around just yet where Todd is concerned. Mel paid another otherworldly visit to Dorian and beseeched her to save her family and Jessica without resorting to murder, just as Charlie approached the observatory where Mitch was keeping Jessica. Charlie took a tumble in the snow and imagined Jared next to him asking what he's doing. Charlie stopped to collect himself and reasoned that killing Mitch is a way to correct what was done to Jared. Jared asked Charlie if he's really a murderer, but Charlie continued to blame himself for Jared's death. As Dorian continued to talk to the ghost of her late husband, she sobbed and said she's afraid of what Mitch will do to her girls. Mel suggested that Mitch has already set whatever plans he has in motion, but there's still time to save Charlie. With no time to waste, Dorian suited up for the cold to go find Charlie.
Mitch explained to Jessica that they are going to create a child together. Sedated but not stupid, Jessica asked how she could possibly have a child with her own father. He looked up and asked the Lord's forgiveness for not seeing his "true intention," then handed Jessica a very modest nightgown especially made for the mother of his offspring. Mitch tried to explain to a wary Jessica that this is the right thing to do and, after all, she loves him. "I think there's someone else I love," she said groggily. Back in town, Clint sat with Viki and assured her that their daughters would survive this latest ordeal. Fish finally got a signal on his cell phone and phoned Marty, who relayed the news about the crash to Viki and Clint. At Mitch's hideout, he laid his daughter down on a cot and was about to kiss her, just as Brody burst in and aimed a gun at him.
Tuesday
Gigi found Stacy practically buried in the snow and asked what she was doing there. Stacy sleepily answered, "Mitch." Gigi picked up her sister and helped her get back to the cabin. Stacy revealed that Dorian was using her as bait to get to Mitch and she saw a totally out-of-it Jessica at his hideout. Gigi confronted Stacy about faking her labor at the hospital and about bringing Mitch into their lives in the first place (that might be Roxy, but ... splitting hairs). Gigi caught Stacy in a lie when she claimed her water broke during false labor. She couldn't believe Stacy had faked her water breaking, too.
On his way to find Schuyler, Rex got separated from Fish, who fell victim to an avalanche. Rex couldn't believe they'd just witnessed an avalanche and didn't realize that Fish was in it. Rex was determined to get up the mountain to find Stacy, but Schuyler thought they should go back to road to get help. They returned to Schuyler's car, where Rex finally started to get at the truth about Stacy's will and why she made Schuyler the baby's legal guardian in the event of her death.
Brody burst into the observatory just as Mitch was about to rape Jessica. Brody held him at gunpoint and quickly tied Mitch to a chair, but was interrupted by Nurse Charles, who caused Brody to drop the gun. As the nurse tried to strangle Brody, Jessica reached for the gun. Brody was near death when a shot rang out and the nurse toppled over. Brody turned to face Fish, who had apparently survived the avalanche. Fish questioned Mitch about Stacy's whereabouts and Mitch wondered why he was so interested in the pregnant schemer.
Viki asked Marty how she can be so certain that Natalie is going to be okay. Marty revealed that Nat is with John, and he'll undoubtedly bring her to safety. Meanwhile, John and Natalie's kiss was heating up their abandoned cabin in the woods. John stopped kissing Natalie when he thought he heard a truck in the distance. He returned to her after realizing the truck was gone, and Natalie imagined that she saw Jared in front of her as John stroked her hair. "Jolie" fans were treated to flashbacks as John reminisced about falling in love with Natalie.
Todd played concerned father and made sure Starr got home safely. Starr was surprised to hear that his latest reunion with Téa wasn't going swimmingly, although Todd did admit that they had great sex the other night. TMI!
Roxy and Kyle both phoned their respective loved ones after Kyle revealed that Stacy isn't carrying Roxy's grandchild. At the observatory, Brody went to check on Jessica and realized she didn't recognize him. Mitch howled with delight. Gigi continued to grill Stacy about the baby and finally figured out that Rex isn't even the baby's father, just as Schuyler admitted to a threatening Rex that he's the babydaddy.
Wednesday
Brody saw the electroshock machine and was horrified at what Mitch had done to Jessica. Brody called him a sick animal. Jessica spoke and said "this man" is confusing her. Brody told her that everything she needs to know is inside of her. Jessica's eye grew wide at the mention of a little girl Bree. Brody tried to remind her of his love for her. Jessica repeated that Brody was a stranger but she added that she wasn't afraid of him. Brody tried to get Jessica to leave with him.
Dani thought Starr was trying to push Todd on her. Starr wondered what it was like for Jessica to have a father like Mitch. Dani rushed out to the diner. Starr didn't mean to upset Dani. Starr and Cole discussed the situation. Starr tried to explain that Todd was afraid of losing Dani and Téa again. Cole understood how Todd felt, much to Starr's surprise. He recounted all the things he did to try to get Marty to remember him after her accident. The two exchanged "I love yous."
Matthew admitted he was afraid of how Destiny would react to the news that Dani was back. Destiny reminded him that they were friends and she no longer felt "that way" about Matthew. Dani joined them in the booth. She said all that chatter about Jessica bugged her. Dani and Matthew were uncomfortable when Destiny said they were a couple. Dani apologized again to Destiny for being a bitch to her before she went away. The girls were surprised when they realized that, thanks to Matthew, Destiny knew about the kiss and Dani knew about Destiny's declaration of love. The two agreed to be girlfriends and hugged. Matthew's mouth dropped open. "We're like the three musketeers," Dani beamed.
Greg told Rachel he suspects Schuyler stole drugs from the hospital. "We have proof," he said. Rachel asked what drug it was. Greg said that the drug was used to induce labor. "Do you know something about this?" Greg asked. Rachel remembered her conversation with Schuyler and hoped he wasn't behind the missing drugs. Greg reminded Rachel that this was a crime. "Why are you defending him?" Greg asked. Greg added that Schuyler's career was dead if he had stolen the drugs.
Schuyler explained to Rex that he had had sex with Stacy. Rex demanded they have a paternity test and accused Schuyler of being high. Schuyler began to explain the details of Stacy's pregnancy to Rex, beginning with the miscarriage. Schuyler told him that she had done something desperate. Schuyler explained how Stacy had drugged him so they would have sex. "I don't even remember having sex with her," Schuyler said. Schuyler then mentioned seeing Stacy's padded stomach. Rex remembered all the things Stacy had done and realized that Schuyler was telling the truth. Rex blamed Schuyler for everything — losing the woman he loves and his family. Rex began to beat up Schuyler. "I will kill you," Rex said.
Dorian got lost in the snow and hoped to find Charlie in time to stop him from killing Mitch. Dorian assured Mel that she would keep looking.
Charlie arrived at the observatory and walked in the door. Charlie pointed a gun at Mitch. Brody begged Charlie to put the gun down and help them take Jessica to the hospital. Jessica didn't have a clue as to who Charlie was. Charlie continued with his plan to kill Mitch. "But you have to do something for me first," Charlie said. Charlie wanted Jared's name cleared. Mitch thought it odd for him to confess to killing Jared just to have Charlie kill him. "No, don't," Jessica said to Charlie, begging him not to shoot Mitch. "Good girl. Defend your father," Mitch said. Brody continued to beg Charlie not to shoot and mentioned Viki and Jared's names. "Be prepared to meet your maker," Charlie said again taking aim. "Charlie, no!" Dorian screamed as she grabbed Charlie's arm, but not in time to stop the gun from going off.
Gigi demanded answers about Stacy's fake labor. All of a sudden, Stacy began screaming in pain. Gigi hoped that Stacy wasn't faking it this time. Gigi confirmed that Stacy was indeed really in labor. Gigi said that she would deliver Stacy's baby.
Téa thought Todd's idea of having Dani move in with them was a bad idea. "She could end up resenting us even more than she does," Téa explained. Téa worried that her daughter thought she was choosing Todd over Dani. Todd reminded Téa that he doesn't do baby steps. Téa suggested she take a break from Todd so she can focus on Dani. "What about us?" he asked. Téa started to leave but then they began kissing.
Thursday
Téa insisted on leaving Todd's for the sake of their daughter, but he urged her to reconsider. He tried to call her bluff by implying that he may not be able to control himself with Blair living there. Téa held back tears and laughed in his face, then walked out.
Clint and Viki rejoiced over the news that Jessica had been found, but Kim was concerned for Stacy, whose whereabouts were still unknown. Viki assured Kim that her friend was probably fine, and assumed the same of Natalie and John, since they had vacated the crash site.
While struggling with Dorian for the gun, Charlie accidentally shot Jessica and she collapsed in Brody's arms. Dorian urged Charlie to spring to action and look for medical supplies, but he was stunned by what he'd done. Dorian took one look at Jessica's exit wound and knew it was bad. Mitch begged Dorian to save his daughter. The feds arrived in time to arrest Mitch but wasted crucial time while questioning everyone about the shooting. Charlie admitted that he shot Jessica by accident and was taken away in cuffs, while Jessica was strapped to a stretcher. Back at Clint's, Viki and her ex-husband bonded over their worry for their daughters, while Marty and Kim decided to go up the mountain to search for John and Stacy. Clint received a call alerting him to Jessica's condition.
Natalie woke up from her nap and John questioned her to make sure she was of sound mind. He told her that she was pretty out of it for a while there, and she realized that when she said things to "Jared" she was really speaking to John. She also recalled that she'd kissed John, and he kissed her back. Natalie was stunned to hear John say that he kissed because there's still something between them. "I feel something for you," he admitted. "I always have and I always will."
Gigi guided a frightened Stacy through her labor as her contractions intensified. Stacy began to doubt her abilities as a mom and admitted that she'd been a horrible person. Gigi urged her to think about everything that had brought her to this moment, and they delivered a beautiful baby girl. They recalled playing together as girls and the names they gave their dolls, Sierra and Rose. Stacy decided Sierra Rose would be a fitting name for her baby.
Rex nearly strangled Schuyler after hearing that he's not the dad of Stacy's baby and Schuyler supposedly is, but Fish broke up the fight. He reported that he'd tied up Mitch and called the authorities. Rex told Schuyler to go find Stacy, since he's her babydaddy. After safely delivering Stacy's baby, Gigi briefly bonded with her sister, who wanted to make amends. Gigi told Stacy that if she stops lying, they can be sisters again. Stacy was on the verge of telling Gigi the truth about Sierra's paternity when Gigi noticed that something was wrong with the baby. Meanwhile, Dorian pulled a fast one on the agent in charge of Mitch.
Friday
John was slightly embarrassed after confessing to still having feelings for Natalie, who was totally surprised to hear him say it. Although she agreed that they shouldn't be having this conversation, she admitted that she has lingering feelings for him, too. John suggested that their emotions are just heightened because of the crazy situation they're in.
Gigi noticed that baby Sierra was looking a little pale and thought they should get help. She told Stacy to stay behind and rest while she treks to the main road with the baby. After learning the truth about Stacy's baby, Rex wanted to find Gigi and make amends, while Schuyler insisted on looking for Stacy. Rex headed to Viki's cabin and was shocked to find Stacy there. He found it hard to believe that she'd just given birth and wondered where Gigi and the baby were.
Viki and Clint rushed into the hospital and waited for Jessica. Brody followed as she was wheeled into the ER, but Greg told his patient's boyfriend to get out of his way. Brody revealed to Viki and Clint that Jessica had been shot. When Viki ran into Charlie next, she asked how he already knew about Jessica's condition. Charlie was forced to admit that he's the one who shot her.
Dorian grabbed an agent's gun and trained it on Mitch, threatening to kill him to protect her girls. She even produced the photo of her family that Mitch had turned into a death threat and showed it to the feds. The officers continued to plead with her to put down the gun, arguing that she can't help her family if she's in jail. Meanwhile, Kelly caught up with Adriana in Paris. They discussed Dorian's controversial moves as Llanview's newest mayor and Adriana's breakup from Rex. Just after Dorian finally handed her gun over, Mitch implied that one of her girls is already in danger ... and a handsome stranger sent flutes of champagne to Kelly and Adriana.
Starr was surprised to find her father knocking on her door in the middle of the night. "Téa dumped me," he announced, then admitted that he doesn't really have any friends he can confide in. Starr fell asleep as her dad went on and on about his breakup drama.
Gigi hurried down to the road with the baby and slipped in the snow. Before she stood up, she realized she had slipped onto the lake. Fish wanted to find Stacy before helping Marty look for John and Natalie, so Marty took off on her own. Just as John and Natalie gave in to their feelings and kissed, Marty walked in. Kim tracked down Stacy to the cabin and was thrilled to see that her friend was safe and sound. Gigi, however, gingerly took a few steps forward with the baby in her arms, then felt the ice begin to crack around her. Rex, Fish and Schuyler all showed up at the same time, but she told them not to move.
