Monday

Clint was eager to check on Jessica and Brody. He was very suspect of Brody. Clint wondered if Brody "truly cares about our daughter?" Viki told her ex-husband that Brody was the right thing for their daughter.

Clint gave Viki a goodbye hug. She promised to keep him posted on Jessica. Viki fell into Charlie's arms. He asked how things went. Viki started to tear up. "I feel responsible," she said. Viki still felt guilty for having left for Africa when Nash died. Charlie told her that what happened was sad but "you can't blame yourself. It was not your fault." Charlie reminded Viki that she was the only one who had gotten through to Jessica/Bess/Tess. Viki agreed. Charlie added that Jessica had to go through this pain. Viki felt bad that Natalie didn't have the wedding of her dreams. Charlie pulled a ring out of his pocket and showed it to her. "Marry me Viki," he said to a shocked Viki. Viki said yes.

Jessica ran when Brody tried to comfort her. She wanted to be alone. He wasn't about to budge. "Why are you here?" Jessica asked as she reminded him that Bess and Tess were a part of her and she had wanted Nash's father to shoot Brody. Jessica started weeping again. "I am so sorry that your baby
died," Brody said. "I killed her," Jessica sobbed. Jessica explained that had Tess kept the doctor's appointments then maybe the baby wouldn't have died. Brody vowed to stand with Jessica as she struggled through the pain. Brody mentioned similarities between what happened with him and Shane. "I've never loved anyone the way I love you," he said as he wiped a tear from her cheek. "I'm poison," Jessica sobbed. Brody again said he wasn't going to leave her. Jessica wept uncontrollably in Brody's arms.

Bo asked John if he would be the chief of detectives. Bo assured him that they would deal with the mayor. "No sale," John said. "Once a cop, always a cop," Bo reminded him. John wasn't interested. Bo asked if he could rent out Rodi's to throw Clint a party. John asked Bo if it was tough having his
brother Clint engaged to his ex-wife Nora. Bo assured him it wasn't a problem

Michael proposed to Marcie. He wanted to renew their vows "for us."

Starr told Cole that she hadn't officially signed Hope over to Marcie. Marty came into the living room and told the kids "the baby is here." Blair handed Hope to Starr. Starr gave Cole Hope to hold. He had never held a baby before. Cole thought Hope looked like Starr. Starr thought she was a mix "of all of us." Starr kept staring at the unsigned adoption agreement.

Marcie and Michael arrived to get the baby. Starr said she hadn't signed the official papers yet and seemed to be quite tortured about what to do. Cole clearly had become enamored of little Hope. Marty wanted to take a photo but Cole said no. Starr signed the papers and handed them to Marcie. Cole and Starr said goodbye to Hope. Marcie gave Starr a locket; this one had Hope's real hair. Starr wept in Blair's arms and asked Michael and Marcie to please go. Michael and Marcie left as Starr wept. Marty hugged Cole. Starr held on to Todd and Blair. Todd thought Hope had Blair's eyes. Todd hugged Blair as she began to tear up about baby Hope.

Marty went to Rodi's and fell into John's arms. "Cole really loved that little girl," she said.

Rachel was surprised that Nora hadn't told Matthew that she was marrying Clint. Rachel pointed out, "You are not sure that Clint is the Buchanan you want." Nora looked aghast at that suggestion. Nora declared out loud that she wants Clint. "That's good to hear," Clint said with a big smile as he entered the living room. Clint told a stunned Nora that he would like to get married tomorrow.

Tuesday

Schuyler met up with Gigi and they discussed their plan to prove that Stacy wasn't the donor who saved Shane's life. Gigi invited him to stay for dinner. Schuyler asked Gigi why there were no photos of Stacy around. Gigi explained that Stacy was very insecure as a girl. Gigi asked Schuyler why he had hooked up with Stacy. Schuyler insisted that Stacy was different in Vegas. He explained that when he was high, "Stacy would be there to take care of me." "Rex is to her what drugs were to me," Schuyler added. Gigi listened but still didn't see the Stacy Schuyler saw.

Stacy made dinner for Rex after he returned from the gym. "Oh my god, you cook," Rex said after tasting the sauce. After Rex raved about the meal, Rex and Stacy began dousing each other with water.

Dorian was stunned that Mo used a recipe and the squabbling continued into the kitchen. "I only micromanage because I care," Dorian explained. Dorian was clearly nervous about the preparations about the dinner. She wanted it to be perfect for Ray. Noelle assured her that "Ray already likes you."

Viki visited Téa in the hospital and brought a beautiful vase filled with roses. Téa let Viki know that she knew all about what had happened with Jessica and the baby. Viki was upset that her cousin Powell had tried to kill Téa "all because of his grudge against Todd." Téa told Viki that she had admitted to Blair that "Todd was the love of my life." Viki asked her what she was going to do about that. Téa said she would never give Todd the satisfaction of knowing that fact. Viki reminded Téa that she'd be able to vent about Todd to her whenever she wants. Téa noticed Viki's engagement ring and congratulated her. "I do have a weakness for the bad boys," Téa admitted. Todd showed up with the little boys, "these goons," and told Téa
they were taking her home to his house.

At Rodi's, Marty told John that Starr and Cole had said goodbye to the baby and gave her to Michael and Marty. She added that it had been very difficult for everyone. John reminded her that he wasn't much of a talker. Marty looked deep into his eyes and said she now knows what she wants. (Um, that would be John.) "We were on the verge of something before my accident. I'd like to know what is was," Marty said. She left him to think about what it is that he wants — Blair or Marty.

Blair caught up with John and she admitted she wanted to work on their marriage. John looked conflicted.

Blair and Todd tried to explain why they were being nice to each other. Todd changed that mood when he announced that he was now taking "the kids home with me." Blair didn't want to separate the boys from their sister. Blair accused Todd of having a love nest with Téa. Todd denied that. "Your children are not a consolation prize," Blair said firmly when she accused him of wanting the kids because he was lonely. Squabbling continued. Blair was going to have Téa disbarred because she slept with Todd before the hearing. Todd pondered the idea of getting married again to ensure custody. "Don't you think about it," Blair said. Todd just smiled. They discussed whose house was safer. "It's not where we lived, it's how we lived," Blair stated. It became clear to Blair that Todd hadn't changed at all. She remembered sharing with Téa that she also thought of Todd as the love of her life. Todd accused Blair of making this all harder than it has to be. Blair didn't want the boys to go with Todd but then headed upstairs to get them. Blair and Todd tried to explain to Jack why Blair would be staying at Dorian's house. Jack was upset that the family wouldn't all be together.

Wednesday

Stacy and Rex continued splashing water at each other. Stacy took off her top and Rex's eyes opened wide. Rex asked Stacy if she liked being a stripper. Stacy admitted that most of the time when she was growing up she felt ugly so when people later threw money at her, "I loved it." But then she realized something was wrong when she started drinking tequila to get through the days. Stacy apologized to Stacy for asking her to strip at Jared's party. She said it was okay but now she wanted to think of something else to do. Stacy thought she might like to teach dance. Rex offered her Ultraviolet as a possible dance studio.

Shane came home and asked his mom if she was going to have a sleep over with "this guy." (It was Schuyler.) Gigi demanded that Shane apologize. Shane stormed upstairs. "I hate you," he yelled. Schuyler offered to leave but Gigi reminded him that Shane was mad at her. "He thinks I let him down," Gigi explained. "The truth is going to come out and he'll come around," Schuyler. Shane heard his mother say that she didn't do what he thinks she did. (That would be sleep with Brody.) Schuyler said goodbye as Shane eavesdropped. He learned that Brody and Gigi hadn't slept together and immediately left a message for Rex to please call him ASAP.

Dorian set a special dinner table on the patio. Ray was impressed but said he wouldn't be staying for dinner. He was going to move Lola away from Llanview "and I will be going with Lola" Ray told a stunned Dorian. Dorian had some other mental institutions in mind for Lola but Ray insisted that his daughter needs to get away from Llanview. "She desperately needs to start over somewhere else," Ray said. "What about what her father needs?" Dorian asked. Ray was upset that he failed his daughter while he was being distracted by Dorian. He added that now he needs to focus on Lola. Dorian looked heartbroken as she said goodbye to Ray. She walked into her living room and screamed.

Todd wheeled Téa into his house. Jack asked how long she'd be staying but Todd said she'd stay as long as she needed to. Téa told Todd that Blair would be going back to court for her children. Todd implied that Téa would tell that judge that Blair and John's marriage was bogus and consequently Todd would get custody of his kids. Téa wasn't so sure.

Marty told Cole she wanted to resume her career. She added that she was very proud of her son and was so happy that she'd be at his graduation. John showed up at Marty's and told her he wanted to see where their relationship was going before she had the accident. He added, though, that he'd stay
married to Blair until she got her children back. Marty and John started kissing passionately.

Blair told John that Todd took Jack and Sam over to his house. Blair insisted she could fight him. "I'm sorry. I can't be your husband anymore," John solemnly told a visibly hurt Blair. "It's Marty," John admitted. Blair's eyes filled with tears. Blair started to cry a she shared how sad she was that it didn't work out between the two of them. She said goodbye and left Rodi's. Blair showed up at Todd's and saw everyone watching TV together. Heartbroken, she slipped away. Todd sensed that she had been at the door.

Thursday

Rex caught Stacy with his cell phone. Stacy had deleted the message from
Shane. Rex said he'd charge the phone at work and headed out. Shane showed
up at Rex's looking for him but Stacy wasn't very helpful. Stacy got Shane
to tell her why he had to see Rex so urgently. "Mom really didn't cheat on
Rex," Shane said. Stacy's mouth fell open. Uh-oh. Shane was horrified when
Stacy hinted that Gigi was a slut. Stacy went on to insinuate that Gigi was
now with Schuyler. Shane wondered, though, why Gigi had wanted Shane to know
the truth about the situation. Stacy continued to lie and convinced Shane
that what he had heard his mother say wasn't true. Shane wanted his parents
to be happy together. However, if his father did have to move on to someone
else, she needed to be someone cool like Stacy. Stacy beamed. Rex came home
and wondered why Shane was there. Stacy had just told him not to tell Rex
the truth. Shane said he had come by to invite Aunt Stacy to the concert.

Jessica ran into Chloe's room and realized it wasn't a nightmare. Chloe was
really gone. She began sobbing over the crib and Natalie comforted her.
Natalie told Jessica how she and Jared figured out that Chloe was really
Starr's baby. "I am so sorry," Natalie said. Jessica cried tears of
gratitude when she realized what Natalie had done for her despite the fact
that Tess had tried to kill Natalie. Jessica said she wanted to apologize to
Marcie but Natalie wondered if Jess "really wanted to see the baby." Natalie
didn't think the timing was right. Jessica sobbed. "Nothing feels right
right now," Jessica admitted. "Why is everyone being so understanding?"
Jessica asked.

Natalie visited Michael and Marcie and explained her involvement in the
cover up of the big Chloe/Hope situation. Natalie started to cry as Michael
and Marcie stood in disbelief. Natalie tried to rationalize the entire
situation. "I was keeping you from the daughter that was supposed to be
yours," Natalie sobbed. Michael and Marcie graciously said that they
understood and they were happy with their baby. Natalie heard Chloe/Hope cry
and hurried out of the apartment.

Starr clearly wasn't okay about having given her baby up for adoption.
"Langston. I miss our baby and I miss Cole," Starr said. Cole said the exact
same thing to Markko across town in the kitchen of the diner.
Langston wondered if Starr had changed her mind about giving up the baby.
"I couldn't break Marcie's heart," Starr said after admitting she had wanted
to keep Hope. Langston tried to convince her friend that it was
understandable that Starr might change her mind.

Cole tried to explain why he hadn't told Starr he wanted them to keep the
baby. "I can't bring Starr down," Cole said. Markko urged his buddy to tell
Starr how he felt. Michael and Marcie were at the diner and Marcie overheard
Langston and Markko talking about how Starr had really wanted to keep Hope.
Marcie listened intently.

Cole paid Starr a visit. Cole asked Starr to be at his graduation. Cole
assured Starr that he wasn't going to hold the fact that she had given up
the baby against her. He made it clear that he still wants her in his life.
"Do you still want me in your life?" he asked. The two smiled and agreed
that seeing each other made everything so much better. Cole kissed Starr's
hand.

Brody apologized to Gigi because his relationship with Jessica was out in
the open. Gigi said that she was about to prove that Stacy hadn't given her
stem cells. Brody was happy and the two hugged. Of course, Rex walked in at
that very moment. Gigi hinted that she'd be explaining everything to him
very soon. "What does that mean?" Rex asked. Rex wanted to go to Shane's
school concert but wanted to be there when Gigi wouldn't. Gigi almost told
Rex the truth but decided to wait. Rex remained confused and frustrated
about the whole situation.

Little Bree told Brody she missed him but she also missed her sister "but
she's with her new mommy." Jessica, Brody and Bree hung out at Rodi's and
listened to the juke box.

Friday

Dorian advised Noelle and Mo to get a room after she caught them smooching on
the patio. Noelle said she was sorry to learn that Ray had left town.
Dorian pretended not to care. Later that day, Dorian insisted to Shaun that
she wasn't upset that Ray left . Then she reviewed all the couples she
had seen kissing that day and broke the glass of champagne in her hand.
Langston was concerned.

Viki and Charlie told Nora and Clint they were engaged. Renee brought over a
bottle of champagne and they toasted to happy marriages. Dorian showed up
and felt very single. Renee suggested a double wedding when the couples
learned they had both booked the last Friday in July for their weddings.
Clint admitted he had felt bad for Dorian for about a minute.

In the school hallway, Cole and Starr talked to Rachel. She sympathetically
listened to them share about how hard it had been to give up Hope.
Marcie approached them and there was great awkwardness. Rachel asked them if
they were okay. "She was our teacher and now she's raising our kid," Cole
said. Stacy explained that Marty had to go to court, which is why Cole didn't
see her there. "My dad gave Cole's mom a subpoena?" Starr angrily asked and
then apologized to Cole once again for something her father had done.

Marcie overheard Langston and Markko talk about the fact that Starr really
wanted to keep her baby. Markko couldn't believe it. "She wants to raise the
baby with Cole. They aren't even together," he said.

In the courtroom, Todd tried to convince the judge that John and Blair's
marriage was a fake. Todd's lawyer couldn't back it up with facts, but Todd
said he could. Blair and Todd began to squabble. Marty charged into the
courtroom and asked why she had been subpoenaed. Todd's lawyer asked Marty
if she was involved in an intimate relationship with John McBain. She said
she was not intimately involved with him. In fact, she confirmed that John
was very close to his wife. Marty didn't want to comment on why John and
Blair had married. In fact, if she did know she had forgotten because of her
head injury. She was dismissed and hurried off to the graduation. She made
it just in time to see Cole get his diploma. John was right by her side.
Markko and Cole hugged. Starr clapped. Everyone was invited to Markko's
party at Dorian's, but Cole wanted to go somewhere else. Cole walked by the
diner and saw Hope in there. Michael was reading Patrick's poetry to her.
Cole, clearly distressed, left. Marcie rejoined her daughter and husband. "I
need to tell you something," she said very solemnly to Michael.

"Long time no see," Asher (the drug dealer) said to a very depressed Cole.

At the graduation, Markko's mom was critical of the length of Langston's
skirt. Langston was convinced that his mom hates her. Langston beamed as she
watch Markko speak. "Thank our Llanview High," he cheered.

The doorbell rang at Dorian's. Starr went to answer it hoping it was Cole.
It was Marcie with Hope in her arms.
