Monday
Langston demanded to know why Tess was still at Ford's and not at St. Ann's. "My hands are tied here," Ford explained, adding that having access to Ryder's trust fund would help him stay in his apartment and take care of his son. Langston was upset that it came down to money, but Ford insisted he couldn't make Langston responsible for taking care of Ryder and Tess. Langston argued that she didn't want to be his mistress. "We're done," she concluded, then wished him the best and headed out.
Viki was surprised to find Dorian in her living room. Dorian said she'd "had it out" with Charlie about not being at Viki's side. She didn't want to burden Charlie with family problems, Viki explained, but Dorian suggested maybe Charlie wants to feel needed. As Tess snuck into Llanfair, Dorian hinted that Charlie might go somewhere else. Viki insisted she trusted Charlie. "But should you?" Dorian asked cryptically. Tess crept upstairs and grabbed some jewels she planned to sell, but dropped one on her way out of Llanfair.
Charlie and Echo stopped their passionate kiss to discuss Dorian's ultimatum. Echo suggested that Charlie leave Viki. "Viki is going through hell," Charlie stammered. Echo didn't want to see Charlie if they couldn't be together. "I can't just pretend," she said through tears. Charlie apologized and left.
Natalie and Brody learned Liam's rash wasn't serious. Natalie thanked Brody for driving them to the hospital. "You are the only father that Liam has now," she said sadly. Brody got a call from Gigi with the news that shots were being fired at Todd and John. Todd was wheeled into the emergency room. John walked into the ER and spotted Brody and Natalie in an embrace.
"We had a big fight," Téa told Dani, but left out the part the wild sex that followed. Right after Téa told her daughter that Tomas was back, Tomas entered the room. "Dani admitted she loved Todd but added she was still mad at him. Tomas headed upstairs to bed. Viki called Téa with the news about Todd being shot, so Téa and Dani hurried out. Tomas watched as his sister left the house and made a frantic call.
Charlie told Dorian that he had broken things off with Echo, as Tess listened in. Then she tailed Charlie to Echo's door, where he said he lied to Dorian, and pulled Echo into a kiss! "I can't let you go," he said as he grabbed her. Tess watched with a smile.
Téa, Natalie, Viki and Dani converged in the waiting room. Natalie explained that there'd been a shooting at Rodi's parking lot.
Brody met John at the site of the shooting. They found evidence that one of John's bullets might have hit someone. Seconds later, viewers saw that Tomas had been shot. Tomas told someone on the other end of the phone that what had just happened in the parking lot was a "disaster" and added "I don't have any news on Manning's condition."
Téa assured Dani that her love for Todd would get him through this crisis. "We've lost a pulse," the doctors said frantically.
Tuesday
Rex and Bo arrived on the island of St. Blazes hoping to find David. Clint called Alex to check on their deal; she opened her door and found Rex and Bo. After she let Clint know that Bo was there, Clint instructed Nigel he could call it a night. Nigel said he had a problem with Clint working with Alex and reminded Clint that St. Blazes was his. Meanwhile, Afraid for his son, Bo asked Alex to come clean. "I wish I could help you," she said. Pulling her into a kiss, Bo said he could protect her from Clint. Alex began to seduce him.
After overhearing some of the residents talking about a mystery man, Rex showed the delivery man where room 606 was and promptly changed places with him. Rex opened the package addressed to room 606 and found a items including a rope and handcuffs.
Starr and James showed up at the Fords' apartment and wondered if Bobby had shipped Tess off to St. Ann's. (He hadn't.) Starr worried that Todd would be following them. As James started cooking, his phone rang.
Doctors hovered over Todd. Téa assured a hysterical Dani that Todd would be okay but that didn't keep her from rushing into Todd's room. The doctor told them Todd's fate all depends on what happens in the OR. Dani wept when she saw Todd's condition, then she and Téa covered him in a blanket to warm him up.
Tomas nursed his gunshot wound as he called the hospital about Todd. Blair walked in on the conversation and informed Tomas she wasn't ready to start seeing anyone. Tomas broke the news that Todd was in the hospital. A frantic Blair contacted Starr on James' phone, then she and Starr rushed to Todd's side. Téa assured Blair and Starr that John would get the man who shot Todd. Tomas looked nervous. Blair had some words for Todd before he went into the OR.
Bo got a text from Rex; it said "room 606 hurry." Bo rushed out of Alex's room and he and Rex broke into the room 606, to find David in bed between two women. "Hi Pa," he said with an impish grin.
Nigel quit his job but when Clint wouldn't accept his resignation, he poured his bossanother bourbon.
Wednesday
Shane grew upset reading the nasty posts on his page. When Gigi asked him if kids at school were ragging on him, he just shrugged. Gigi wanted to talk things out. "You can trust me," she assured her troubled son. Shane checked his phone and got a message from Jack to call him asap.
Empty beer bottles in front of him, John remembered a conversation with Natalie. Kelly showed up and John told her Todd was in surgery. Brody entered Rodi's to say there would be a report on his desk in the morning. John suggested Brody go home to Natalie and "your kid." Brody apologized for sleeping with Natalie, then dared John to hit him. After Kelly convinced Brody to leave, she asked John how long he'd be wallowing in booze. If he wanted to turn into a bitter old drunk that was his prerogative, she shrugged. John declared he was done and headed out to solve the Todd shooting case.
While Natalie spent some time with Liam, Viki assured her daughter she would always be there for her. "You made a mistake," Viki said, reminding Nat that John was hurting, and might just find his way back to her. Natalie thought he had found his way to Kelly. "He doesn't want me," she said sadly. Viki wondered if things were awkward with Brody coming by to be with Liam, but Natalie pointed out he was doing the right thing.
Starr told James she was worried about security for her dad at the hospital. Tomas tried to attend to his own wounds. Blair asked him what he was doing, and vowed to make whoever shot Todd pay.
Determined to continue his torment, Jack "apologized" to Shane and invited him over to come over and play some Zbox with Beth and Brad. When Shane arrived, Brad offered him a pill, which Shane said might interfere with his inhaler. Brad wanted an uncomfortable Shane to prove his coolness with Beth.
Starr tried to call Jack but he wasn't answering. Blair grabbed Todd's phone and reached Jack to inform him his father was in surgery. "Jack was stunned and snapped at Shane. "Get out. I don't want your germs on me," he yelled, ordering his friends out. Gigi was frantic, wondering where Shane had been. "Don't give me stupid advice," he said angrily as he rushed upstairs.
Thursday
Tess was thrilled that Todd was shot because the crisis would rattle Téa's composure as she represented Viki in court. After getting Tess to dress more appropriately for the proceedings, Ford hoped that nothing would go wrong.
Nora told Viki what Clint had done to David. "Good god, why?" gasped Viki. Nora explained that Clint wanted to get back at Bo, but still said she would represent Clint and Viki. Ford's attorney threatened to use the murder rap against Clint if things didn't work out in their favor.
Ford left a message telling Langston that he still loves her. A weepy Langston entered Dorian's room. "I broke up with Ford," she sobbed, explaining, "Ford chose his baby over me."
Aubrey listened as Cutter called Dorian and asked her to go to an art exhibit. Dorian said she had other plans. After, Aubrey happily informed Cutter that Clint no longer had any leverage on them.
As Joey read Kelly's cover story on Todd's shooting, Clint wondered if Joey thought he had killed Eddie. Rama paid Joey a visit and hinted that she knew a lot about Aubrey's past. She was poised to show Joey a photo of Aubrey In their school yearbook, but Aubrey showed up in the nick in the time. Afterward, Rama collected money from Aubrey, and Aubrey reluctantly informed her new husband that she had invited Rama to live with them.
David couldn't believe Bo (Pa!) was at the foot of his bed. "I came, son," Bo said with a smile. Bo and David didn't believe anything Alex said as she tried to explain. When Rex admitted that he had known about David's fate for months, David's face fell. As he went after Rex, Bo watched, then pulled David off of Rex and directed him to save that rage for Clint.
David called Dorian. "I love you. I did not walk out on you," he said. "It's all Clint's fault." Dorian yelled at David, not believing a word he said. Cutter knocked at Dorian's door with a gift, and Dorian told David she had moved on with another man before hanging up.
Friday
Rex told David that Dorian hadn't been with anyone since David disappeared. David didn't want anything from Rex. David sneered when Rex told David he was a Buchanan. Bo confirmed Rex's claim. Rex wondered if they could make the charges against Clint stick.
Dorian prepared to burn a photo of David in front of Cutter. "Lust in to dust," she said gleefully. Dorian went to defriend David but grew hysterical as she read that David was in a relationship with Alex Olanov. Cutter tried to get her to remember she was over David, and shouldn't care what he does. Dorian began to kiss Cutter when David charged into her bedroom and said "Dorian!"
In the courtroom, Tess pretended to be Jess. Tess said that Ryder's last name was Ford. The judge asked why the grandparents were asking for custody. Viki said that young woman was not her daughter. Nora explained DID to the judge. The judge wanted to speak to Mrs. Ford who took the stand. Tess said that her parents were suing to punish her for marrying "the man I love." She explained that the court that her family had wanted her to marry Brody.
Tess' lawyer brought up the fact that Clint had had Ford badly beaten last year. Nora said that case had been dropped but pointed out that Tess and Ford just married a few days ago. She added that Tess had abandoned her baby. Nora added that Ford/Tess are only going after the Ryder's trust fund. Ford protested and called Jessica "Tess" which the judge caught. Viki took the stand. Tess hinted that there was something going on between Charlie and Echo. Tess suggested Viki talk to Dorian about it.
Clint didn't think the judge would give the baby to the Fords. Nora told Clint she'd work hard to get him in jail once Viki had custody of the baby.
Starr, Dani and Téa tried to stay calm while Todd was in surgery. Jack and Blair entered the waiting area and Jack immediately asked "Did dad die?" The doctor said he was in a coma. The doctor hoped that the family visit would get Todd out of the coma. Téa went in to see Todd. Dani and Jack argued. Starr told him to sit down and shut up.
"Don't you dare die on me," Téa said to Todd firmly. Téa tried to get Todd to wake up by telling him stories about Dani having sex and Starr being pregnant again.
Starr assured her sister that he would come back to them. Blair and Téa hugged. Dani started to talk to Todd. She apologized for running off with Nate and promised to make it up to him. She vowed not to see Nate again. Dani thought he squeezed her hand.The extended Manning family prayed holding hands. Téa wept as she demanded that Todd wake up.
Bo charged into the courtroom and arrested Clint for the unlawful kidnapping and imprisonment of David.
