Monday

Starr told Langston that Cole was being held without bail. Starr shared that she felt torn between Todd and Cole. Starr was certain that Hannah was lying. Starr felt that Hannah's plan to break up Starr and Cole was working. Langston got upset at the thought of Starr and Cole breaking up. The girls had practically forgotten about the prom. Starr realized that Cole wouldn't be able to be her date. Langston didn't want to go to the prom if Starr wasn't going. Starr shared that Hannah had swallowed a bunch of pills when Ford dumped her. Langston was stunned. Starr said it was a good thing Langston had broken up with Ford. Starr insisted that Langston go to the prom and wanted to see her prom dress. Langston almost told Starr about Ford but then Markko came home. He said he had visited Cole. Starr didn't want to talk about anything anymore. Starr wanted Markko and Langston to go to the prom and have a good time. Langston hugged Starr. Markko and Langston headed off to bed. Starr looked at a photo of her with Cole and she remembered the moment it had been taken.

Hannah visited Todd in the hospital. She wondered why he was hiring his goons to find her. Hannah refused to recant her story. Todd realized that Hannah wanted Cole. "Isn't that what you want [a wedge between Starr and Cole] Mr. Manning?" Hannah asked intently. Hannah thought Todd might have hit his head and then forgot what he had done to Dr. Saybrooke. Hannah rattled off all of Todd's misdeeds. Hannah thought Todd should drop the charges against Cole. "Why?" Todd asked. Hannah thought it would be in
Todd's best interest. Hannah thought that Todd would do anything for Starr. Hannah said she could tell the police she wasn't 100 percent sure it was Todd in that stairwell. "So you'll change your story if I drop the charges against Cole?" Todd surmised. Todd didn't trust Hannah at all. "My lawyer is going to rip you to shreds," he said. Todd made it clear that he knew about Hannah and the pills and said she better watch herself when he got out of the hospital. "Are you threatening me?" she asked. Todd wondered if she knew who she was dealing with. Hannah stormed out. Brody saw her and quickly realized that it wasn't Todd's daughter visiting him, which is what the other cop on duty had told him. Brody asked her what she was doing there. She said she was trying to help Cole.

Jessica came by to see Brody, who was at the hospital. He was delighted to see her. She told him she had no curfew at prom night. She thought there might be surprises. Brody said he was really looking forward to it. Jessica went in to visit Todd.

Markko visited Cole behind bars. Markko was stunned that bail was denied. Cole was disappointed that Starr hadn't visited him. Cole told Markko that Markko would probably have to testify. Cole was sure Starr had chosen Todd over Cole. Markko felt for Cole. Cole told Markko Starr went ballistic on Hannah. He added that Starr thinks Hannah is lying because Hannah is after Cole. Cole was very upset that Starr was defending Todd. Markko thought it seemed far-fetched that Hannah would lie. Markko was convinced that things would work out between Cole and Starr. Cole had wanted the prom to be so special for Starr. Cole almost slipped up and said something about Langston and Ford. Instead he said that Langston was very lucky to have Markko.

Jessica interrupted Cris' pizza dinner with Ford and Layla. She told him she was going to prom with Brody. Layla reminded Jessica that Cris was a chaperone and Jessica was attending. Layla was rather icy toward Jessica. Ford invited Jessica to stay. "I'd love to," she beamed. Ford thought it was cool that Jessica was redoing high school and went on to flirt with her. Cris warned Jessica to be careful around people she doesn't know (like Ford). The flirting continued. Layla thought that Jessica could take care of herself. Cris wasn't so sure and thought Ford was a dog. Layla accused Cris
of being jealous that Brody and Jessica were going to the prom together. Jessica left. Ford thought she was very interesting. Layla hoped that Jessica would reconnect with Brody at the prom. Cris insisted that he wasn't jealous. Layla said that Jessica is still attracted to him. Cris said he'd only have eyes for Layla at the prom. He vowed his love to her and kissed her. After Layla headed off to the bedroom, Cris told Ford to stay away from Jessica.

Rex asked Otto about the necklace. Apparently Otto's father had made it years ago. As he described his father making the necklace, viewers saw the flashback of the necklace being made. "Do you know who bought the necklace?" Rex asked. "Yes," Otto replied and we flashbacked to the past. Apparently Otto had wanted to buy the necklace. "Are you my father?" Rex asked. No,
because his father didn't let him buy the necklace. He said he couldn't remember who bought the necklace way back then. A disappointed Rex left the shop. Rex thought that Otto was lying. Rex called Shane and handed the phone over to Gigi. Gigi thought Otto might be telling the truth. Rex was certain that Otto knew more. Otto took an old box out of a drawer and unlocked it. Rex and Gigi were stuck in a hotel room together. They came close to kissing but went to sleep in separate beds. Rex was sure that what he was looking for was there.

Tuesday

Bo called Rex in Santa Fe and got the update about the hunt for Rex's parents. Suspecting Otto was hiding something, Rex wanted to head back to the jewelry store. When he got there, the jewelry store was empty. The two tiptoed into the store and started looking around. Rex pried open a locked drawer and found a box with the same design as the necklace.

As Téa talked to her doctor over the phone, Dani overheard Téa say the word "death sentence" and peppered her mom with questions. Assuming Téa had been talking about Todd, Dani reminded her mom that it was her choice to defend him. Téa suggested they go shopping for Dani’s prom dress, and they returned from the trip with armloads of dresses. As Dani tried them on, Téa started to cry at how beautiful Dani looked. Téa started to talk about Dani and Matthew, which angered Dani. She almost told her mom about Nate, but insTéad assured Téa it was okay for her to leave to go to Todd.

Blair overheard Todd trying to get the dirt on Hannah. Hannah wanted to make a deal with him, Todd explained, and wondered what was bothering Téa — what could she possibly going through that would compare to his situation? "Stop your whining," Blair said. She didn’t spill about Téa’s condition, but did admit something was wrong with Téa. As Todd worried that he should be the one helping her, John arrived to take him to the clink.

Starr asked Nora how she could get Cole out of jail, and wondered if she could talk to the judge. Matthew offered to be a character witness. Nora thought the only way to get Cole out of prison was to prove that Todd bribed the judge. Starr insisted that her father did not bribe the judge or push Marty, explaining that Hannah has an agenda to break up her and Cole.

Marty got choked up when she found a baby Phillies outfit in John's bag. John apologized for upsetting her and wondered if they should try to have another baby. Surprised, Marty assured John he would have made a great dad, but she didn't think there would be another miracle. Later, Marty confided to Nora that John wanted to have another baby, but said she didn't want to get pregnant again right away. Marty wept as she packed away the baby things, then grew angry.

Starr left a drawing outside of Cole's cell that Hope had made for Cole. Hannah visited Cole and admitted that she had gone to see Todd. "Why would you go anywhere near him?" Cole asked. "I did it for you," she said, explaining that Todd had threatened her. Hannah was afraid that everyone would learn about her attempted overdose. As Cole put his hands on her shoulder, and upset Starr interrupted and asked what lies Hannah was telling now. Cole wondered why Starr had told Todd about Hannah's overdose. Starr explained she wouldn't have told Todd if Hannah hadn't lied about him. Starr was lying to herself about Todd, suggested Cole. Angry, Starr took off.

Nate showed up at the diner. Bo learned that Nate was in a lot of scenes with Dani and wondered if that was difficult. As Nate and Matthew went to run lines, John walked in, thrilled to see Bo on his feet. Bo offered his sympathy about the baby. After Nora left, John admitted he’d been getting into the idea of being a father. Nora returned to the diner and told Bo that as soon as he got a clean bill of health, they’d go get their marriage license.

Nate suggested that Matthew and Dani join him and his date for dinner before prom, adding that he had been there when Dani threw her phone into the bushes. Matthew asked for details about what happened between Dani and Nate in the park. "Nothing happened," Nate insisted. Matthew told his father he was upset that Dani hadn't told him about the moment with Nate.

Téa walked into the hospital just as John was hauling Todd away. Blair urged Téa to tell Todd about her condition. Téa was angry at Blair for having snooped into her private life.

Matthew dropped by Dani's room and brought up Nate. Dani confirmed that Nate had been at the park with her. When Matthew confessed he had a weird feeling when Nate said that nothing had happened between the two of them, Dani told Matthew that she and Nate had kissed.

Todd was put into a cell right next to Cole, as Starr cornered Hannah.

Wednesday

Starr demanded that Hannah let go of Cole. "This is going to blow up in your face," Starr predicted, and accused Hannah of playing the victim. "Leave my family alone or you will regret it," Starr warned. Insinuating that Cole was having trust issues with his girlfriend, Hannah told Starr that Cole wasn't happy that Starr Todd about Hannah's pill overdose. Cole will soon figure out what
a twisted person Hannah is, snapped Starr, suggesting that Hannah pushed Marty and made up the whole story about Todd. That's
ridiculous, sniffed Hannah.

Todd and Cole exchanged barbs in adjacent jail cells. Predicting he'd be out of prison by dinner, Todd informed John and Cole that Hannah had come to his hospital room to "wheel and deal." Cole
explained that Hannah had asked Todd to back off and drop the charges. Hannah offered to recant her testimony, added Todd, hinting that Natalie could have pushed Marty. Or maybe one of Marty's patients. John remain convinced that Todd had pushed Marty. "Keep it together," John urged Cole. Cole accused Todd of murder. Starr would never forgive him, Todd told Cole.

Freshly returned from London, Natalie told Roxy she'd had a great
time. "I'm moving there," she beamed; she wanted to be with her brothers. "This is crazy talk," Roxy responded, realizing Natalie was trying to escape from John. It would be easier being away from John, admitted Nat. Predicting that John and Marty wouldn't last, Roxy suggested that Natalie fight for John and urged her to tell John how she feels. Write a letter and leave it at the station, Roxy advised. Natalie took her advice. Roxy read the letter and loved it, adding that Nat should suggest a rendezvous spot: Rodis at midnight.

Blair was furious that Téa was going to skip out of her medical treatment. Blair asked Téa if she wanted to cut short "the time you do have." Téa needed to make sure that Dani was taken care of and that Dani and Todd have a good relationship. Blair told Téa to go home and rest. She thought Todd in jail was "the best thing that could happen in this world." Blair insisted that Téa start her treatment tomorrow, but Téa wasn't listening. Why is Téa giving up? asked Blair, urging Téa to beat this thing because "miracles happen." Téa explained that she had seen Dani smile for the first time in ages that day, and didn't want Dani to see her in a hospital bed. Blair agreed to keep quiet about Téa's illness if Téa promised to start treatment the next day.

Starr ran into Blair at the hospital and learned that Todd was back in prison.

Dani told Matthew that she and Nate had kissed in the park, swearing that "it didn't mean anything." Matthew said he had been looking for her that day and had sent her a text. Matthew is amazing and she feels bad that she hurt his feelings, cried Dani, assuring Matthew that she still wanted to go with him to the prom. Matthew thanked Dani for not lying to him but "no more random park kissing." "Only with you," she said with a smile. Téa came home and offered to give Dani the Delgado pre-prom special: mani-pedi, the works. "This is awesome," Dani grinned.

Rex wanted to open that locked box in Otto's office. "Why is it such a state secret?" Rex wondered. Otto grabbed the hammer out of Gigi's hands. Rex said he just wants to know about his parents. Call the police, Otto ordered his daughter. He offered Rex the chance to leave but Rex, certain Otto was hiding something, wanted to take his chances with the police. The police showed up and handcuffed Rex and Gigi. Penny asked Otto for details and wondered why he wouldn't tell Rex and Gigi what they needed to know.

John watched Hannah through the diner window and noticed her blue top, thinking over what Todd had said. Natalie entered the diner and quickly left to go to the station to drop off the letter.

Thursday

Natalie left her "Dear John" letter on John's desk. He opened the envelope and started to take the letter out, but left it on his desk when he got a call. Marty showed up and was waiting for John in his office when she spied the letter. After reading it, she hid it from John. Viki called wanting to talk to Marty about Jessica. Letter in hand, Marty left to meet Viki and Clint at the Palace. Viki said that
tonight was Jessica's senior prom, which Marty thought this would be an important night; she thought that Jessica was trying to alter the past to change her present. Let the night play out, Marty advised Jess's worried parents. Later, Viki told Clint that Charlie was behind Jessica asking Brody to the prom. She fretted about Jessica having her heart set on reconciling with Cris, "And that's not going to happen." Meanwhile, Jessica showed up in the gym to see if Cris needed any help, and asked Cris to save a dance for her. Was Cris jealous when Ford was hitting on her? Jessica teased, convinced Cris still had feelings for her. Then fell into his arms as she dodged a piece of falling scenery. Cris insisted that he is in love with Layla and refused to discuss it with Jessica. Swear he has no feelings for her, pressed Jess, but Cris couldn't. A happy Jessica left to get ready for the dance. At Roxy's, she showed Roxy a photo of how she wanted her hair styled. On his way out of the tanning, Ford said hi. As Jessica confided to Roxy that she's sure Cris still has feelings for her,Layla walked in.

Ford ran into Langston at Roxy's and urged her to ditch the prom. When Langston said she couldn't, Ford told her he has the whole apartment to himself. Langston promised Ford she'd soon be breaking up with Markko.

Dorian introduced Kelly to her bodyguard, Shaun. Kelly didn't want a stranger protecting her, but Dorian insisted. Kelly left for Roxy's to get her hair blown out for a date, with Shaun on her tail.

Kelly called John to find out about Rodney's autopsy and didn't believe it when she was informed he had apparently died
of natural causes. The case was closed, reported John. Kelly said she'd see John tomorrow and they'd discuss their next move. John called a friend who used to work at the FBI, then scanned his desk for the letter he'd almost opened. The office secretary said that the only other person who had been in his office was Dr. Saybrooke. Later, at the diner, Natalie filled Brody in about the letter. "I practically asked John to choose between me and Marty," she worried. Brody thought Natalie was very brave, but Natalie didn't have the nerve to face John, afraid the letter showed how desperate she was.

Brody ran into Layla at the diner and they commiserated over the Jessica/Cris situation. This was his last chance with Jess, lamented Brody. Layla hoped that Brody could get through to Jessica. Worried that Cris still had feelings for Jessica, Layla shared her concerns with Carlotta. When Cris arrived, Layla left, saying they'd meet up at home. Carlotta reported that Layla has some concerns about Cristian and asked her son how he feels about Jess. Cris dodged the question.

When Reed arrived to pick up Kelly, Dorian said she wanted to get to know him better. Kelly came home to find Reed ready to take her to New York and a Broadway show.

Friday

At the start of OLTL's musical arc, Starr X'd Lovers, Starr forlornly gazed at prom posters around school and recalled her first meeting with Cole, while Cole was in his jail cell thinking about the same thing. Back at La Boulaie, Dorian looked at a photo of Starr and Cole from prom three years earlier and commented to Blair about their "true love." Starr ran into Langston and got teary-eyed as she lamented not having him around. "What would you do if you lost Markko?" she cried. Meanwhile, Markko ran into Brody at the Buenos Dias and had to laugh when he heard Brody is going to the prom with Jessica. In the kitchen, Cristian explained to his mom that he no longer has feelings for Jessica, just as Jess was telling Roxy that she truly believes Cris still loves her. Layla walked in to hear the whole thing, and Jessica swore to Layla that she and Cristian belong together. She even claimed that they almost kissed at the school gym. At the Buchanan mansion, Viki explained to Bo and Nora that she and Clint thought it would be a good idea to see Jessica off for the prom. While Starr was sharing her theory with Langston that Hannah pushed Marty, Hannah visited Cole in jail.

Nate, Destiny, Matthew and Danielle rehearsed for the musical, and the scene made Starr recall another moment with Cole. Mr. G. directed the kids to rehearse the first number, and suddenly everyone was dancing and singing about "Starr X'd Lovers" on a colorfully lit stage. Afterward, Langston tried to get Starr to go to Foxy Roxy's with her, but Starr was in no mood to go and insisted that she take Danielle instead. The girls all made plans to meet up with their dates at La Boulaie later. Matthew warned Nate to keep his lips off of Danielle. To Dorian's surprise, Téa walked in to La Boulaie while Blair and Dorian were having an intense discussion about Starr. Blair explained to her aunt that she invited Téa because Danielle is coming over to get ready for prom. Dorian asked Téa why she's buddying up with her enemy.

Langston and Danielle arrived to Foxy Roxy's just as things were heating up between Layla and Jessica. Whitney pulled Danielle aside and said she heard Dani was "macking" on her date, Nate, the other night in the park. Roxy had to stop the bickering and suddenly everyone was singing along to The Go-Go's "Our Lips Are Sealed" and wearing pink. After, Brody swung by Roxy's and broke into a dramatic rendition of "Keep On Loving You" by REO Speedwagon.

Starr arrived at Cole's jail cell to hear him speak of happier times, but when he admitted to Hannah that he doesn't know were they're headed now, Starr ran off. Danielle wandered into La Boulaie to hear Blair talking about Téa's "treatments." Blair covered that they were discussing hot oil treatments that would greatly improve Téa's dry hair. Starr rushed in and Blair tried, via an original song, to persuade her daughter to attend prom. After, Starr sang her own song, "We Belong" by Pat Benatar, to express her frustrations about attending prom without Cole. Langston and Danielle joined in, and even Hannah sang part of the song in prison. While everyone was singing, Dorian looked at that photo of Starr and Cole once more and vowed to reunite the couple that night.
