One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of November 29, 2010

Monday

After the melee between James, Ford and Eddie at La Boulaie, Bo hauled Eddie downtown. Nate and Danielle showed up and the other teens had to explain what went down between his father and brothers. Later, Starr and James were having a bonding moment when she received a disturbing call from Statesville: Cole had just been in a fight. Outside the mansion, Langston tried to calm Ford, who was still keyed up about Eddie's violent appearance.

At the LPD, Nora walked into Bo's office to find Eddie with tape on his mouth, thanks to an impatient Bo. Once they removed the tape, Nora could see why Bo put it on Eddie in the first place. Eddie commented on Nora's bra size, said James needed a little knocking around and suggested that Bo's got eyes for Inez. His latter comment definitely affected Nora. Once he was gone, Nora noted to Bo that Eddie had a point when he described Inez as "the perfect victim." While Bo was certain that Inez isn't trying to take advantage of him, Nora advised him to watch out.

Meanwhile, Clint created an awkward end to Thanksgiving with Inez with his shocking request that she seduce Bo. Inez was confused, pointing out that Clint remarried someone else shortly after Nora left him for Bo, but Clint didn't see any reason why Bo didn't deserve payback. He even suggested that Inez has a thing for Bo and he'll make sure she gets what she wants. Inez now understood why Clint had been buttering her up for months with all his favors to her sons. Clint offered to make sure all her sons are sitting pretty, including college-bound Nate, if she cooperates. Inez was disgusted and stormed out. Later, Clint made an ominous phone call and was hanging up just as Ford arrived. "What do you want?" Clint sneered. Ford announced that he needs Clint's help. Inez showed up at the police station to confront Eddie, who remarked that Nora is "plenty wound up" about Inez's role in Bo's life. Inez was about to approach Bo's door when she heard Nora say something about how they can just all rescue Inez. Once Nora was gone, Inez entered Bo's office and said she has something to tell him.

At the airport, Natalie imagined seeing an ominous warning about John on the arrival and departure screens. Just then, John walked up with some random lady's baby and told Natalie he was getting in some baby practice. Turns out a stranger in a wheelchair had let him hold her baby for a while. John and Natalie sat down and he caught her up on his trip to Seattle to see Marcie and Michael and reported that their baby, Gabe, is already walking.

On the plane back from London, Kelly also made friends with a stranger. After a drink or two, Kelly was spilling all about her crush on her ex-husband. The woman advised Kelly to take a chance or she'll always wonder. As their flight landed, the woman introduced herself as Aubrey.

Viki was thrilled to see son Joey show up at her door on Thanksgiving. He explained that he bought a one-way ticket and plans to stay for a while. Just when he started to ask about Kelly, Natalie and John came home. After hearing their exciting news, Joey wondered if John was going to make an honest woman out of Natalie. He then headed off to take care of something pressing, while John told Nat that perhaps it's time they do talk about marriage. Natalie didn't think they needed to talk about it just because Joey said something, so John agreed to drop the subject. Meanwhile, Kelly showed up and asked for Joey, who'd just arrived at the airport and planted a big kiss on Aubrey.

Tuesday

Upon her arrival from London, Kelly stopped by Llanfair to look for Joey, but he wasn't there. Rex was, however, and explained that he's visiting his dad — Charlie! Kelly decided not to wait for Joey, so Rex walked her out, while Echo commented to Viki and Charlie how nice it is that a man and woman can be friends like that. When Charlie offered to allow Echo to stay with them indefinitely, Viki pulled Charlie aside and asked if he's gone mad. Charlie beseeched Viki to trust him and let Echo stay a little while longer for Rex's sake. Viki reluctantly agreed, but promised to make Echo's life a living hell if she crosses the lady of the house.

Kelly told Rex all about her trip to London and mentioned that Joey is currently single. Little did she know, Joey was with Aubrey at the airport. They broke from their passionate kiss and headed to the Palace to check her into a room, even though Joey wanted her to stay at Llanfair. Rex urged Kelly to call Joey, so she did, but his phone went to voicemail. Meanwhile, Aubrey and Joey were making love in her hotel room. After their romp, the lovers recalled how they met a month ago and had fallen for each other so quickly. Before heading back to Llanfair, Joey snapped a pic of Audrey in bed.

When Ford came to Clint seeking help with Eddie, Clint realized that this could help him gain some leverage with Inez and offered Ford $50,000 on the condition that he stays away from Jessica. At the LPD, Inez was about to tell Bo something when she learned that Eddie got his assault charge down to a misdemeanor. As Eddie was gloating to Inez about his release, Nora noticed that Eddie had hired a pretty pricey lawyer and wondered where he got the money. Inez privately phoned Clint and complained that Eddie's back on the street. Assuming Inez hadn't yet blabbed to Bo about his devious plan, Clint informed Inez that he just gave Ford the money to get Eddie out of town. Clint reminded Inez that he could be her best friend ... or her worst enemy. "Inez, you do what you need to do," he warned her before hanging up. From Bo's office, Inez watched Bo and Nora outside bickering. Bo assured Nora that Inez doesn't have a crush on him, and even if she does, she's not going to act on it. Nora shook her head before walking off. Bo returned to his office and asked Inez what it was she wanted to say earlier about Clint. Inez waited a beat, then announced that she and Clint broke up.

Things were heating up between Dani and Nate at Inez's place as they watched a French film. When things got a little too hot and heavy, they broke from their kiss and Nate suggested they talk about sex. Danielle admitted that she and Matthew had come close to having sex, but she's still a virgin. Dani was surprised to hear Nate say that he has had sex before, but was relieved when Nate said he's cool with waiting.

Todd ran into James at Llanfair and asked where he got the shiner. James lied at first, but admitted that Eddie punched him. Todd realized that the rough guy he'd met at Ford's a few weeks ago was actually James's no-good father. Todd confessed that he knows a thing or two about abuse, recalling his own situation with his adoptive father, and assured James that he'd prevail. After their unlikely bonding moment, Ford arrived and Todd barked that James isn't good enough for Starr. Once alone with James, Ford reported that he's got a plan to get rid of Eddie. Meanwhile, Dani was alone in Inez's living room when Eddie arrived with a sinister look on his face.

Back at the Palace, Aubrey called someone and playfully said, "Hey, it's me. Guess where I am?" In the Llanfair living room, Joey and Kelly finally came face to face.

Wednesday

As Todd caught her up on his conversation with James, Téa was surprised to hear Todd express some compassion for the guy. Todd explained that James had just been punched by his own father, which made Todd think about his own past with his adoptive father. Téa wondered if she should try to help James by offering him legal counsel. Meanwhile, Starr and Blair were at Statesville to visit Cole after his fight, and Starr admitted that her friendship with James feels like a betrayal to Cole.

Joey was gazing at a grainy photo of a half-dressed Aubrey on his camera when he found Kelly in the Llanfair living room. She was thrilled, as was he, and they threw their arms around each other. He asked why she'd just gone to London and she claimed it was to see Zane, but ultimately confessed that she'd gone to see him as well. He got the feeling she was holding something back, so she asked him to make her a very strong martini. Back at the Palace, Aubrey told someone on the phone that she thinks she's going to like Llanview, PA. Room service arrived with a note from Joey, so Aubrey phoned to thank him, interrupting Kelly's confession. Suddenly, Kelly choked on an olive and Joey had to hang up to save Kelly's life. While he called Aubrey back, she quietly said to herself, "I love you, Joey." When he returned to Kelly, he suggested that they catch up over lunch the next day, since there's something he wants to tell her. Kelly was floored by the offer.

Nora told Clint about her fight with Bo and blamed Clint for making her paranoid. She suggested that Clint take Inez on a little trip to get her out of town. At the LPD, Bo asked Inez if her breakup with Clint had anything to do with him. She answered yes, but not in the way he thinks, and refused to say anything more. Inez then phoned Clint to tell him she still won't accept his offer. After Inez's call, Clint informed Nora that he and Inez are broken up, which may be bad news for Nora and Bo. Taking his comment to heart, she returned to the office and resumed fighting with Bo. Things escalated when Bo blurted out that he's not the one who cheats. Nora couldn't believe that he'd just brought up Sam, and left the office to cool off.

Nate found Eddie making rude comments to Dani and was ready to kick his ass. He quickly ushered Dani out and confronted Eddie about what he wants with Inez. Eddie provoked Nate into punching him when he made a comment about Dani's physique. Eddie was poised to fight back when Inez arrived home, and threatened both of them, saying he does what he wants when he wants. Meanwhile, Ford revealed to a disappointed James that Eddie's been released from jail. James started to recount the ways his father had hurt him. He admitted to entertaining thoughts of even killing Eddie and how he would always realize that he'd have no one if Eddie were dead.

Dani rushed home after her run-in with Eddie and tried to ignore her parents, but they could tell she was shaken up by something. She revealed that Eddie stopped by Nate's and said some "creepy things" to her. Todd was so angry he walked right out the door and went to confront Eddie. While Todd was out, Téa got Dani to open up about her time with Nate, and Dani admitted that they'd talked about sex. Nate called Dani to say that he'd kill his father before he ever let Eddie hurt her. Meanwhile, Todd returned home and said he'd made it clear that Eddie wouldn't live to see the light of day if lays a hand on Dani. Eddie, meanwhile, returned "home" to Ford and James's apartment, where Ford handed him the $50,000 and told him to get out of town. To James's horror, Eddie announced that he's not ready to go anywhere soon. Ford advised James not to give up just yet, noting they'll just have to try another tactic.

Thursday

After being summoned to the Buchanan mansion to meet with Clint, Eddie asked if Clint is anything like his brother, or else he's not doing business with him. Clint assured Eddie that he and his brother are very different, then pulled a gun on the crook. Eddie was taken aback, but even more surprised when Clint unveiled a suitcase full of cash. Eddie wondered if Clint wanted him to off somebody. Suddenly, Bo entered the house and started calling out for Clint, who told Eddie to hide. Eddie seethed as he overheard Clint advise his brother that he and Nora will "get past Inez's crush." Meanwhile, Inez stopped by Ford's to tell him not to worry anymore about Eddie because he'll be leaving town soon. She wouldn't say much else, but just advised Ford to steer clear of his father. Ford told her to do the same.

Nora went to Viki after her argument with Bo and was thrilled to see Joey back in Llanview. He told her he was sorry he couldn't make the wedding, and when she asked which one, he assured her that he doesn't hold a grudge against her for leaving Clint and that she and Bo are meant to be. Once Joey was gone, Nora confided what Bo said to her the day before about not being the one who "cheats." Viki could see how much Nora was hurting and thought Bo probably said that in the heat of the moment. Viki understood feeling like the jealous wife, lamenting her own situation with houseguest Echo. On his way out of the mansion, Bo ran into Joey, who mentioned that he'd just seen Nora. "How did she seem?" Bo asked. Joey said he couldn't really tell, but that she seemed to be doing okay. Joey then walked in on Clint's "business" meeting with Eddie to invite him to lunch at the Palace.

Dorian lured Echo to brunch with bottomless mimosas in the hope that she'd spill about her intentions toward Charlie. When Dorian tried to suggest that Echo's living at Llanfair to cozy up to "Chuckles," Echo claimed it's just for financial reasons. If that's the case, Dorian suggested, she should move into La Boulaie! Echo wasn't so sure, and kept on drinking. When Dorian wondered if Clint is really Rex's father, Echo looked somewhat disturbed. From a nearby table, Aubrey phoned Joey and asked if he's sure his family is ready to meet her. Kelly ran into Aubrey and asked what she's doing there. Aubrey explained that she's meeting her boyfriend's parents for the first time and is very nervous. Unaware that they're both prepping to see the same guy, Kelly told her not to worry.

At the Buenos Dias Caf, Marty presented John with a wrapped gift. When he asked what it was, she thought back to sitting on her living room floor putting Natalie's amnio report (which contained her request for a paternity test) in a box. She claimed that the gift is all about the baby and pushed it across the table. Meanwhile, Starr confronted Todd about being tricked into signing a restraining order barring Marty from seeing Hope. When she later stopped by the Buenos Dias, she was approached by Marty, who accused Starr of leaving Cole for James. Luckily, James arrived in time to stop their argument from getting worse and dragged Starr out. Marty was fuming, and more ready than ever to spill Natalie's secret.

At The Sun, Todd asked Rex to dig up some dirt on Eddie. Meanwhile, Inez showed up at Clint's and told him there's no way his plan to get Bo to cheat will work. Nora left Viki's and saw that her phone was ringing once again. This time, she decided to answer Bo's call, but just as she retrieved her phone, a gloved hand appeared over her mouth.

Friday

As Charlie ran around looking for Echo at Llanfair, Viki seemed greatly disappointed and snapped that Echo isn't there. At that moment, Echo who was getting tipsy at the Palace with Dorian. Just as Dorian was getting closer to the truth with Echo, she was stunned to see Joey standing before her. Dorian noted that he looks well and asked what brings him back to town. Echo complained that Joey's the reason she had to switch rooms at Llanfair, and Joe understood that Echo's the woman who's driving his mother mad. Back at Llanfair, Charlie was excited about an idea he and Echo had to clean up his old tools to give to Shane for Christmas. Before they headed out to lunch, Charlie thanked Viki for being so understanding about everything that's been going on lately.

Kelly ran into Aubrey before her lunch with Joey and offered to help her pick out something to wear to her big lunch to meet her new boyfriend's parents. Unaware that she was helping out the competition, Kelly nervously talked about seeing her old flame, so Aubrey suggested that Kelly try on one of her designer dresses. While Kelly was changing, Joey dropped by to pick up Aubrey. Downstairs, Charlie and Viki arrived to find Echo living it up with Dorian. Echo remarked on how hot Joey is, adding that her own son, Rex, is pretty easy on the eyes as well. Charlie dragged Echo away, while Viki scolded Dorian for getting Echo so drunk. Dorian explained that she was just trying to help! Charlie escorted Echo back to her room at Llanfair, where she wanted to take a trip down memory lane with him over their drunk days in Atlantic City. Charlie wondered why Echo was drinking so much, and she admitted it has to do with him. She suddenly put arms around his neck and planted a big kiss on him. Charlie didn't seem to resist, and Dorian saw the whole thing from the terrace.

Inez told Clint there's no way their plan to get Bo to cheat on Nora will work, but Clint assured her that she's sexy enough to pull it off. He even gave her some cash to go buy something to wear for the job, but she slapped it out of his hand. Clint arrived to the Palace and had a quick heart-to-heart with Viki before Joey and Aubrey showed up. Kelly finished prepping, having decided on her original outfit, and was on her way downstairs when she saw a note to Aubrey from "J." Downstairs, Joey announced to his parents that Aubrey is the woman he's going to marry.

At the Buenos Dias, Bo left yet another voicemail for Nora, then approached John just as he was about to open Marty's mysterious gift. Once again, Marty's plan was thwarted. Bo asked about Cole, and John explained that he had Cole relocated within the prison. At another table, Rex revealed to Gigi that he's there to "keep an eye" on Marty, as per Todd's instructions. Todd had also hired Rex to watch out for Eddie, which Bo admitted to Rex. Bo warned his pal to be careful and to keep him in the loop on whatever he finds about Eddie. After overhearing their conversation, Gigi seemed concerned about Rex's new gig. When Rex saw Marty heading out, he startled her by calling out her name and made her drop the wrapped box. He went to pick it up for her and observed how light it felt. Marty grabbed the box like she thought he was trying to steal it, which did not go unnoticed by Rex, who remarked to Gigi that the "early Christmas present" wasn't even wrapped in Christmas paper! Hmm....

Nora came to in a strange room and saw Eddie holding a gun on her. She asked why he was holding her hostage, wondering if it had to do with her having him charged with assault. When he said that's not why she's there, she appeared a little more scared. Eddie reconvened with Clint and was told to await further instructions, while Nora tried to get out of her restraints. Meanwhile, Bo told John that Nora won't even return his calls right now. Inez was nearby, keeping a watchful eye as she checked herself in the mirror. Eddie returned to the motel to find Nora shuffling across the room in her chair. He checked Nora's phone, and she was relieved to hear that Bo had left three messages. But she wasn't so happy when he erased them and sent a text of his own. Meanwhile, Inez joined a lonely-looking Bo at the caf and pressed him to admit what's bothering him. Bo then received the text from "Nora" saying she's still angry and doesn't know if she can ever forgive him.
