Tuesday

Tess welcomed Uncle Bo while pretending to be sweet Jessica. He admitted to being worried about his niece, and asked what all the cables were about. Jessica lied and said she was doing her hair and blew a fuse. Jessica/Tess was very annoyed that John was taking about her behind her back. "John thinks Uncle Todd and I are involved in something shady," she said. "Is he wrong?" Bo asked. Tess wondered what John was accusing her of. Trying hard not to be Tess, she became angry at Bo and at John's actions. "Guilty until proven innocent," she exploded, adding that she wasn't involved in Todd's schemes. She vowed that she wasn't going to be one of Todd's alibis. Bo gave Jessica a good-bye hug as Tess rolled her eyes. "I am so sick of family," she said to herself. After Bo was gone, the contractor told Tess that her cameras were now set up. Tess led him down the stairs to the basement. Doggie David Vickers followed them. Tess was very pleased with the construction in the secret room. "This is absolutely perfect," she purred as Tina arrived. "Perfect for what?" Aunt Tina asked.

John watched footage from the security camera at Ramsey's, and zeroed in on the image of a woman being wheeled into the apartment. "Who are you?"
he muttered to himself. John brought in an expert to work on getting a close-up version of the image.

Cole hoped he could still be friends with Langston, but she didn't think that would be possible. "Starr really needs me right now," Langston explained. Cole begged her to reconsider still being his friend as well.

Todd was overjoyed to tell Marty that Starr was giving custody of her unborn child to him. He then painted a very bad picture of Marcie. Marty didn't want to see Todd disappointed. Todd continued to lie about how Starr had decided to give her baby to him. He claimed that his life was in shambles because he was given away as a baby. Starr finally realized that (supposedly), so she changed her mind about giving the baby to Marcie. Marty thought it was time for her to move out of Todd's apartment, then, because she would be in the way when the baby arrived. Todd didn't like that idea at all. He said that he needs Marty now. "You make me feel like a decent guy," he insisted. Todd also noted that he would need her help taking care of a baby. "We could do it together," he said, smiling at her.

Michael had some labor advice for Starr, who wished that she was doing the coaching with Marcie AND Michael. "Starr still seems to think that you and I still come as a package," Marcie said. She asked her estranged husband if that might still be possible. Marcie begged him to reconsider, but Michael wasn't budging. "If you change your mind, I'll be waiting for you," Marcie said as she headed to the birthing class. Michael looked through the window when the class began, as did Todd.

Starr told Blair that she thought she had screwed things up with Marcie and Michael. Blair assured her that she had not. Blair reminded her daughter that no one at the birthing class would be passing judgment on her; they were too involved in their own pregnancies. Starr wasn't so sure. Blair then advised Starr not to give up on Cole. She thought that Cole might eventually realize that Starr had done the right thing about their baby.

Roxy met doggie David Vickers as she gave Tina a manicure and the two compared notes on all their crazy past actions and how they had done many of the same nutty things. Both agreed that they considered themselves horrible mothers. Tina was now happy that Sarah "was actually talking to me." "Your lies aren't nearly as bad as mine. At least you know where your children are," Roxy said.

Wednesday

John made it clear that he had to get an ID on the mystery woman who lived in Ramsey's penthouse. He gave a fellow cop the woman's X-rays, which Michael had already taken a look at. "Severe brain trauma" was Michael's diagnosis. John hovered as a technician tried his best to come up with a clear video image of the woman. Blair called and invited him to Capricorn, but he declined. In the office, John admitted to having turned down a date. The tech said he'd need all night to do his work anyway, so he suggested John enjoy "the woman on the phone, and let me concentrate on the woman on the screen."

Marty impressed Janet with her great crossword puzzle ability, yet remained frustrated at not being able to remember any thing about her own life. When Marty brought up the idea of changing a diaper in a prone position, Janet asked, "How close have you and Todd gotten?" Marty explained that Todd had asked her to help him raise Starr's baby. Janet begged Marty not to raise the child as a way of showing her gratitude. "Do you really think you want to make this kind of a commitment?" Janet asked. She reminded Marty that she had made major steps in her recovery. Marty said she'd never forget Lee, but she feels a strong personal connection to Todd. She considered Todd her family. "All he cares about is protecting me," she said. Todd returned home and again asked Marty if she'd help him raise this little family. Marty still couldn't give her answer but was very touched that he wanted to make a future with her.

Earlier, Starr caught Todd standing outside the door of her birthing class. The class stopped and Todd apologized to everyone. Blair laughed. "What exactly are you sorry for?" she quipped. Todd mentioned having lost Sam. Starr felt bad that she hadn't been there. Todd admitted that losing Sam was all his fault.
"Maybe I just don't deserve him," he said. Todd said he had gone to see a shrink (that would be Marty). Todd explained that Sam was the reason for everything he'd done in the past year. "I just hurt everything that's in my life," Todd whined. He took the blame for Starr's pregnancy. Todd gave Marcie credit for raising Sam and said, "I'm sure she'll be an excellent mother to my grandchild." Blair, Marcie and Starr were stunned at his words. Starr may have been fooled, but Marcie and Blair didn't believe a word Todd was saying.

Tess lied and said the newly built secret room was a surprise for Tina. "I made it especially for you and little David Vickers," Tess claimed. Tina thought it was odd that Tess had built a room in the basement. "A nice 'I'm sorry' would have gone a long way," Tina noted. Tess continued to cover. "This will give us both space," she explained. Tina couldn't believe that Tess wanted her to live down there. Tess tried to convince Tina that the room was very private and well decorated. Tina suggested that Tess live there instead. She began to tell Tess the story of the various secret rooms that had existed at Llanfair. Tess pretended to know nothing about that history. Tina finally realized that Jessica was actually Tess, which Tess denied. "You are Tess. What are you going to do to me?" a frightened Tina asked. Not waiting for an answer, she tried to escape from the room, but Tess locked Tina in. "So long, suckers," Tess laughed. She called Todd and demanded that he come over. "We have a little problem," she told him over Tina's screams.

Cole told Langston about what happened at the club. He admitted he'd flirted with another girl at the pool. Langston blew up at him. "She just trashed the girl that you love," Langston blurted out. Cole felt bad about his behavior. "What kind of a dog are you?" Langston asked. Cole said he felt very alone, the same way he feels when he visits Marty's gravesite.

Starr arrived at home and saw Cole. "I was here to see Langston," he said as he left. A heartbroken Starr stood alone in the foyer.

Thursday

At Capricorn, John surprised Blair by being in the audience. Blair kissed her new beau in front of Michael. "I'm happy for you," Michael said. "It's nice to see you spending time with a real flesh-and-blood woman, instead of a pack of X-rays." John replied he is determined to find out who was in that video and soon would know, thanks to modern technology and a cop named Fish. Michael thought "Blair was a keeper" and told his big brother so. Blair brought John a drink, then told him about Todd's big apology at Starr's birthing class. "The clincher is he practically gave Marcie his blessing," she recalled. John and Blair agreed that Todd probably has another agenda. After Blair dedicated a song to him, John got a call from Fish, who said the photo of the mystery woman would appear on his computer in the morning. Fish left the office as Marty's face slowly appeared on the screen.

Layla told Michael about her break-up with Vincent. Michael shocked her with the news that he and Marcie would probably be getting a divorce. Layla insisted on dancing with Michael. Dallas ran into Clint at the bar at Capricorn and ordered him a drink.

Gigi and Rex were excited to be heading back to Llanview to see "their son."
Cristian, Talia, Sarah and Antonio were also overjoyed to be heading back to Llanview. Then they ran into Gigi and Rex kissing, which surprised them because Rex is still technically married to Cris and Antonio's cousin, Adriana. Uh-oh.
Rex's in-laws suggested they call Adriana. Rex panicked. "Give us one good reason why we shouldn't," Antonio said. Rex paled. The Vega brothers backed off when Rex promised he'd tell Adriana ASAP that their relationship was over. Cris then told his co-travelers that he wasn't going back to Llanview. Sarah kissed Cris, then left him at the airport. Instead of boarding a flight, however, Cris was grabbed and knocked out with chloroform by thugs.

Natalie called Clint on "having Jared do your dirty work." Nora wondered what Natalie was talking about. Nat explained that Clint had sent Jared to find one of Langston's long-lost relatives as a way to bribe Dorian to get Buchanan Enterprises back. Natalie thought it was cruel. Clint reminded his daughter that she barely knows Langston. Clint was furious that Natalie compared him to Jared. Nat was shocked that her father would hurt a young girl for a company. "Why did you keep the secret from Nora?" Natalie asked. Clint pointed out that Jared was very eager to get back on board and help him. Nora questioned Clint on his secretive behavior, and the two continued to argue. Clint stormed out.

Tess called Todd and demanded he come over right away or she'd tell John McBain he was hiding Marty. Todd immediately left Marty's side. Tess reported that Tina figured out that Tess was back. She promised not to tell John and Marty what Todd had done if "you help me with my problem." Todd wanted to see Tina. "What did you do to her, Tess? You didn't kill her, did you?" he asked. Tess had no desire to kill her aunt..yet. Todd suggested Tess find something to hold over Tina, then said goodbye. Tess reviewed the things Tina had done and remembered she had seen Tina hovering near the safe. Tess opened the safe, found the jewels and began smiling with joy. She now had leverage over Tina. Just then, Natalie walked into the living room. "Jess, what are you doing at the safe?" she asked.

Tina frantically tried to get Tess to let her out of the secret room. "You are nothing like Jessica," Tina spat. "Yes, because Jessica is dead," Tess answered as she left Tina in the soundproof room. Doggie David Vickers couldn't find a way out of the secret room, either. Tina tried not to cry.

Marty told Todd that the thought of a little baby in her life made her happy. Todd smiled. "I haven't felt that way in a long time," she said. She noted the whole thing was rather impractical...but she was game. "I would love to help you raise your daughter's baby," she said.

Friday

Holding hands, Marty suggested that Todd hire a baby nurse. Todd helped Marty out of bed. Marty beamed. Marty took a few steps and sat back on the bed. Marty and Todd started to kiss.

Gigi told Rex she was scared of how Shane might react to the news that Rex, not Brody, was his father. Gigi took the blame for setting up the scenario of the "war hero dad." Gigi wondered if Shane might hate Rex for deserting her all those years ago. Brody and Shane showed up at the airport and Shane was so happy to see his mom. Shane wanted to tell her "the big surprise" but Brody managed to quiet him. Moments later, Shane blurted it out to them that he and Brody had taken a DNA test. "Nothing can ever split us up, mom," Shane said. Rex and Gigi just stared, make that glared, at Brody. Shane explained that Brody did this so in case Gigi didn't come home, Shane wouldn't be put in foster care. Gigi sent Shane to the car. "You faked a DNA test with my son," Gigi screamed at Brody. Rex said that faking a DNA test was a felony. Brody said the psychic told him Gigi might be in trouble and tried to explain his actions. "I would do anything for Shane. You don't deserve to be Shane's father," Brody said glaring at Rex. Brody said he was doing his best to be a father to Shane. Rex was not wanted. Brody told Rex to walk away and "never come back." Rex told Brody to get out. "Gigi's with me," he said. Brody hinted that when he and Gigi had met — she was already pregnant at the time — Gigi had as much as said she never wanted to find Rex. Rex said he'd make things up to Gigi. Rex punched Brody. "You hit my dad," Shane said. "He's not your dad," Rex replied.

Marcie arrived at Capricorn to hear Blair sing and was hurt to see Michael dancing with Layla. "Michael hates to dance," Marcie said to Blair. Layla told Marcie that she had forced Michael to dance. Blair took Marcie to get a drink. Blair admitted that she was jealous when she learned that Todd had bought a nightgown for another woman. Blair tried her best to make Marcie feel better. Marcie told Michael that eventually he'd start dating and there's nothing she can do about that. She added that there's nothing
Michael can do about her plans to adopt Starr's baby. "There's nothing more I wanted in the world than to start a family with you," Michael told his estranged wife. However adopting Todd's grandchild was still not going to work for him. Marcie left. Blair made a toast with John and hoped they could keep things simple (in there relationship) for as long as possible. Back at the Police Department, Marty's face appeared on John's computer.

At the bar, Dallas figured out that Clint had had a big fight with Nora. Dallas asked Clint about his relationship with Nora. Clint explained the current drama going on with Jared and Natalie. Dallas reminded Clint that sometimes to be in a relationship you have "to agree to disagree." Dallas wondered why Nora couldn't cut Clint a little slack. Clint said that because Nora was the DA she doesn't see much gray. "Maybe I went too far this time," Clint said. Dallas didn't agree. Clint admitted that he really wants to break up Natalie and Jared. Dallas told Clint that they — she and Clint — could get back together. "Just say the words," Dallas said. Clint looked confused.

Tess found Tina's stash of jewels in the safe in the living room. Natalie knew all about the jewels. "They're stolen," Natalie said as she raced to the phone to call the authorities. Tess stopped her. Tess thought they jewels might be fake. "We have to give auntie Tina the benefit of the doubt," Tess said. Natalie wanted to wake her up, but Tess faked a fainting spell. Natalie wanted to call the doctor, but Tess asked her for some chamomile tea. Tess put the jewels back in the safe. Then she pulled some mysterious potion out of her pocket. "Nightie night Nattie," Tess said with a devious smile. Tess poured them both some tea and managed to drug
Natalie's cup when she wasn't looking. Natalie finally took a sip. Natalie told her sister that she was so grateful that she had taken her back. "I'm glad that we're sisters again," Natalie said. Tess kept insisting that Natalie drink her tea. "That's a good girl," Tess said as Natalie took another sip. Natalie nodded off. "Sleep tight sucker," Tess said. Sarah charged into the living room and asked Jessica where her mother was.

Talia and Sarah were delighted to arrive at home. They enjoyed some cold beer at the girl's apartment. Sarah reminded them that they all could have died. Talia said it was all her fault because she kept the fact that Carlo Hesser is her father a big secret. "You risked everything for me," Talia said. "I can't live without you. Who would clean up my mess," Sarah said. Layla came home and had big hugs for everyone. Sarah had left Cris several messages (he had gotten bumped from their flight) but hadn't heard back.
Layla and Sarah both went to their rooms so Talia and Antonio could be alone. Talia and Antonio made love.
