Brody helped Starr and Hope to safety. Starr paddled to safety while Brody fought with one of the thugs. Brody was impaled by a piece of metal. The thug offered to shoot Brody and take him out of his misery. Brody kicked the thug and Bo charged into the room and rescued him. Bo was with Brody when he was rushed to the hospital.
Sergei held John at gunpoint and threatened to kill him. John turned things around and shot Sergei. He was dead.
In the waiting room, the Evans parents, Rachel, Matthew and Destiny waited for the outcome of Shaun's surgery. Nora showed up to be there to be with her children. Nora introduced herself to the Evanses. Mrs. Evans showed Nora photos of her children when they were smaller.
Destiny told Rachel all about Greg and Shaun. Rachel told Nora about her conservations with Greg and how he had accused Rachel of playing things safe. Rachel admitted there were sparks between her and Greg and added that Shaun had declared his love seconds before he went into the OR. Rachel felt pretty terrible about the recent turn of events. Nora assured her daughter that she'd tell Shaun the truth when he was ready to hear it.
Greg prepared for Shaun's surgery. Shaun told him that there was no doctor he trusted more than his brother Greg. Greg was ready to start and was surprised when Vivian came in to observe. Greg got a little testy with her. Greg removed the bullet from Shaun's brain but then saw there was still a little piece of the bullet in his brother's head. In the operating room, Greg panicked and said that he couldn't do this. Eventually Greg got it out, but then Shaun took a turn for the worse.
John introduced himself to the Evanses and he learned about the update. He told them that Shaun was a hero. Destiny was thrilled to hear that but wondered what was taking so long in the operating room.
A very serious looking Greg entered the waiting room. Everyone stood up and went to him eager for the results of the operation. He said nothing.
Gigi wondered if Stacy might not be expecting Rex's baby. Schuyler thought Gigi should be honest with Rex about finding the pregnancy test box. Schuyler remembered Stacy's attempt to seduce him, left Rodi's and headed over to Stacy's asap.
Natalie arrived at Rodi's looking for Rex. Clint enjoyed being with his two daughters. Clint thought Viki would be an excellent mayor. Clint was glad that Jessica had moved on with Brody. Jessica thought that since the mayor was arrested, Brody would be safe and sound. Clint complained that something always got in the way of his spending time with his bride.
Bo called Jessica with the news about Brody. Jessica looked stunned as she told her sister and father that something had happened to Brody. Jessica charged into the waiting room. Bo told her Brody was pretty bad. Jessica looked stunned when she heard that Brody had lost a lot of blood. "No, not again," a panicking Jessica said as she watched the doctors work on Brody.
John told Clint and everyone that Brody was a hero.
Jessica saw the doctors removed the metal from Brody and it was clear he was on the mend. Nora hugged Clint and Bo hugged Natalie, but Bo and Nora made serious eye contact.
At the OB/GYN, Rex wondered how soon they should wait for a paternity test. Stacy and Kim got upset that Rex was asking so many questions. Her doctor didn't want to perform any tests without Stacy's permission. Stacy accused Rex of trying to disown has own child "before it's even born." Stacy said the baby would have a paternity test once he/she was born. The doctor gave Rex a pamphlet. A suspicious Rex looked at Stacy and Kim. Stacy told Kim she was worried about the paternity test. "We've got nine months to figure it out, " Kim said with a smile. Schuyler showed up and had a question for Stacy. Schuyler asked Stacy if they had had sex that night a few weeks ago.
Gigi told Rex about the pregnancy test box. Rex reminded her that there was a good chance he was the father of Stacy's baby. Gigi looked sad, very sad.
Tuesday
In the police station, Cole, Starr and Hope were reunited. Starr recounted her ordeal. Marty thought it was good that she was talking about things, though Todd didn't want her to relive it. Starr regretted telling her father anything about Cole and the drugs. She blamed Todd for everything that had happened. Todd was, of course, defensive. Marty told everyone to be grateful that everyone was alive. "She's right. For once," Blair said snidely. Bo told everyone that Shaun was in a coma and that he might not come out of it. John looked very troubled at the news and walked off. Marty followed him home. "It's my fault," John said. Marty tried to convince him otherwise. "Feeling sad and feeling responsible are two different things," she assured him as she told John all the good things he had done. "I'm staying the night whether you like it or not," she said with a smile. Marty and John started kissing.
Todd took responsibility for what had happened. Starr and Cole also took the blame for Shaun's condition. Blair assured her ex-husband that the thugs were to blame. Todd felt bad that he had treated Shaun like a man-servant. Todd left to go home to Téa. Blair looked wistful.
Greg had bad news for his family and Rachel. "He's not going to wake up," Greg said. Destiny refused to listen and she kept insisting that Shaun would be okay. Destiny began to cry. "He's dead. You killed him," she said as Rachel's eyes filled with tears. Greg said that Shaun wasn't dead, but admitted that Shaun had a heart attack on the table. Greg was worried about some deep brain trauma. Greg told his family that Shaun may never wake up. Destiny started hitting Greg out of sadness. Destiny ran out of the room. Nora showed up and put her arm around her daughter. Greg tried to explain what happened but his mother still got very upset. "Why did this have to happen today?" she said verging on tears. Greg stormed off hysterical as his parents tried to keep it together. Matthew tried to calm Destiny down. Matthew tried to convince her that Greg was doing what he had to do. "He had to take the risk. He could have died or been paralyzed," Matthew said solemnly. Destiny told Matthew about her last conversation with her brother. "And now I'll never be able to tell him I didn't mean it," she said. "He thinks I don't respect him, but I do," Destiny added. Matthew tried to assure her that Shaun knows he loves her. "Why did I have to needle him?" she sobbed. "I can't lose him."
Rachel sat with Greg, who kept reviewing what had happened with Shaun. He said that Vivian had warned him not to go too deep. Greg wouldn't accept any of Rachel's attempts to calm him down. "My brother's in a coma. And knowing Shaun he'd rather be dead," Greg said as he walked away. Greg told Rachel that it was his fault. "I wanted to be the one to save my little brother," he yelled. Rachel tried to convince him that Shaun still has a chance. "You love your brother and it is breaking your heart that he might not make it," Rachel said as Greg stormed off, taking some of the furniture with him.
The surgeon promised Jessica that Brody would be fine. Jessica wept as Brody tried to assure her that he would be okay. Clint, Natalie and Bo joined them. Brody said he was lucky. Bo welcomed Brody to the force. Clint said he was praying that Jessie would get her life back. "You are the miracle Brody," Clint said. Brody said he'd give up the police job if Jessica was worried. A crying Jessica said she wouldn't hear of it. Brody asked her to tell him if she got too worried and they would review whether or not he would remain a cop.
Nora brought Bo some food from Rodi's. Bo looked wistful. Jessica lay next to Brody before he went into surgery. The security guard tried to restrain Greg from destroying any more furniture. Rachel began to cry. Matthew got out of his wheelchair so he could comfort Destiny.
Wednesday
John and Marty made love. David appeared outside of John's door. John grabbed him. "You shouldn't push me. My dad's your boss," barked David. Ford and Markko told David that they were done with his reality show.
Langston and Dorian talked about Cole's undercover project. Dorian looked guilty when Starr and Cole came to La Boulaie. "How did your cover get blown?" Langston asked. Dorian confessed that she had told the mayor about Cole. Dorian changed her tune about the mayor and admitted that she hadn't quit working for the Mayor. Langston was furious. Dorian stormed out and said she'd go make the mayor resign.
Cris and Layla served Oliver a celebratory breakfast. Layla presented Oliver with the "coming out to parents" book. Oliver was stunned to think that he should come out to his parents. Cris and Layla wondered why Oliver would insist on keeping the truth a secret.
Kyle told Roxy that he was dating someone else now and it was over with Oliver. Roxy thought that Oliver was cute. Kyle told Roxy that Oliver was very deep in the closet.
Viki and Charlie thanked Brody for saving Starr and Hope's lives. "He's a hero," Jessica beamed. Viki congratulated Brody for being put on the force. Brody explained what he did under cover. Viki told everyone that the mayor was refusing to resign. Brody told Jessica that he saved Hope (formerly Chloe) for her. "And you did it Brody, you did it," said Viki.
Bo looked over the medals of honor he was going to give out. David charged in to Bo's office. "Dad. It's bring your kid to work day," he said calling Bo a hero. Bo was irritated at David and at the reality TV cameras. "Get out now or I'll throw you all in jail," Bo said as he reached for his gun. David pinned one of the medals of honor on Bo. Bo was kind of touched and gave him a slight smile.
Dorian showed up in Bo's office. She told him she was resigning from the Mayor's campaign. Dorian admitted that her telling the Mayor about Cole "was an honest mistake." Bo showed Dorian the door. The media gathered in the police department.
Bo brought John, Oliver and Cole into his office. Bo told them to stay right where they were. Brody watched it from his hospital bed. Bo told the media that he was very proud of the department. Bo thanked Brody via television. "These men risked their lives," Bo said proudly. Bo pinned medals on Cole, Oliver and John. John took the day off with Marty. Kyle watched from the diner and looked happy yet sad when Oliver was called up.
Dorian charged in and started her own press conference. Viki listened intently. Dorian said she has Mayor Lowe's of letter of resignation. Charlie told Dorian that Viki was running unopposed. Not so fast warned Dorian. Dorian announced that she would be running against her.
David introduced Roxy to Ford. Ford insisted that the show was over. Oliver showed up at the diner. Kyle congratulated Oliver on the medal. It was an awkward moment. Oliver told Kyle that Layla was no longer his girlfriend. Kyle got a call from his "boyfriend." Oliver looked crushed when he heard that word.
Bo pinned the medal on Brody in the hospital. Jessica beamed. At the diner, Cristian met Barbara and George Fish who were in town to surprise their son Oliver. Cristian was surprised as well.
Thursday
Dorian announced she's running against Viki for mayor. Dorian rattled off her list of civic accomplishments. "You are in for the fight of your life," Dorian warned Viki. David charged in and told them that he was moving on to more meaningful projects. Viki said she could use a man like her on her staff, someone to do opponent research. Charlie said he was fine having David on board. Dorian grabbed David and asked him how he could do this to her. "They recast me on my own show," he said in exasperation. Dorian offered him the job of campaign manager, adding that she would pay him, while Viki's staff was all volunteer. A conflicted David said that although Viki was his very best friend, he needed the salary Dorian could provide. Seconds after Viki predicted they'd be at each other's throats, Dorian and David started fighting about David's demand for a private jet.
Blair had a fit when she found Ross sunning by Dorian's pool. What if he were seen by someone? Jack suddenly appeared, and Ross explained that he was a friend of Blair's. A secret agent, added Blair, then demanded that Ross hide.
Tea thought she and Todd should wait before telling the children that they are engaged. Todd overruled her and called a family meeting. Tea had a big hug for Starr, who noticed Tea's big ring. "What do you think, Starr?" Tea asked. "It's great," Starr said tentatively. Starr gave them her blessing, but wondered how Blair would react. Starr couldn't believe that Blair already knew, and took the news pretty well. "You don't think that's strange?" Starr asked. Blair walked in with Jack, who didn't want Todd and Tea to wed. "Are you going to let this happen?" Jack asked his mother. Blair asked to be invited to the wedding, which Todd wanted to take place soon. "This bites," Jack snapped as he stormed out. Blair had a moment alone with Tea and offered to help plan the wedding. Todd went after Jack and assured his son that Blair would always be his mom. Jack told Todd that Blair already had a man and "he's here right now." Shortly afterward Todd spotted Ross, but Ross locked himself in a cabana before Todd could see his face. Meanwhile, Tea asked Blair to tell her what was really going on.
Oliver's parents showed up at the diner and met Cristian. They were a day early because they had heard about Oliver's medal, and wanted to surprise their son. Cristian introduced himself as Oliver's roommate and tried to get them to give Oliver some notice to tidy up. Barbara insisted she didn't care if the place was a disaster area. "Lead the way," George ordered.
Oliver read aloud from the book Cristian had given him. Layla was thrilled to see him reading the book, but Oliver insisted he would not be telling his parents he was gay. Cristian walked into the apartment, with Barbara and George right behind him. "Surprise," Barbara said with a big smile.
After some initial awkwardness because Oliver's parents didn't know Layla was black, Barbara and George were happy that Oliver had found someone. Oliver stunned them to silence when he announced that he and Layla had broken up. George said that Oliver could be "straight with them," and urged his son to open up. As Oliver struggled to summon the nerve to come clean, George pulled the "tell your parents your gay" book from the couch. "What's this?" he asked.
Natalie, Jared and Clint discussed the stalker. Clint warned them to be careful. A package came for Jared and Natalie, which Natalie feared might be from the stalker. "I guess we should call security," Natalie said. The security offer said that the envelope was safe to open. It was another DVD. Jerome, the security guard, watched it with them; it showed someone accusing them of having murdered Nash. The man on the DVD was in silhouette and his voice was altered. Natalie wanted to tell Jessica in person, but Jared didn't want her to leave. Clint made sure Natalie had personal protection. After Natalie left, a strange person grabbed Jared from behind.
Friday
Langston admitted she was nervous about Markko being tempted by some college co-ed. Starr told Langston about Todd and Téa's upcoming wedding. Markko and Cole joined them. Cole announced he was officially out of high school and was going to LU. The kids celebrated. Markko's mom came in and couldn't wait to hear about her son's first days at college, then gave him some money. "I'm never going to get to go home, am I?" a panicked Markko asked. Markko's mom hoped they could fix that. "That girl is not like us," she said to her son. Markko made it clear that he wasn't going to give up the woman he loves. Markko's mom ran out. Markko returned to his friends. Cole invited him to be his room mate.
Téa asked Blair to tell her what was really going on. "What is your problem with me and Todd getting married?" Téa asked. Blair hinted that Todd and Téa's engagement wasn't the real thing. Blair kept hinting about Téa's "big secret. The one you don't want Todd to find out." Blair had to leave but not before she told Téa that Téa wanted out of the marriage because of the "big secret." Téa looked nervous but tried not to show it.
Todd ordered Ross to get out of the cabaña. Todd walked around looking for something to hurt him with. Ross texted Téa that Todd was about to burn down the cabana. Indeed, Todd sprinkled the house with lighter fluid and took out a match. Blair got there just in time and dumped some water on Todd. Todd and Blair started to argue. "Why do you care if I have a guest or not?" Blair asked. Todd wanted to see the man in the cabana. Téa wondered why Todd was so anxious to know who was in the cabana. As Todd counted to 5, the door to the cabana opened. It was the Chad, not Ross. Todd and Blair began arguing. Blair paid Chad for crawling into the cabana window. Ross pulled Blair into a kiss.
Téa told Todd she didn't believe him. "This is where Blair is and this is where you belong," Téa said as she headed out of La Boulaie. Téa pointed out that Todd can't change. "The wedding is off," Téa told Todd.
Kyle read the cover story on Oliver's heroism. Nick came by with a bottle of champagne to celebrate Kyle’s readmission to medical school. The two kissed and Nick wanted to make love but Kyle stopped when he saw the newspaper with Oliver's picture on the cover. "Was it something I said?" Nick asked. Kyle kicked the newspaper under the bed and said he was on duty soon. Nick wanted to help Kyle relax but Kyle wasn't interested. Nick asked if this was about Oliver; Kyle insisted that wasn't and left, but told Nick he could wait for him. Nick sat on the bed and saw the newspaper with Oliver's picture.
Oliver's parents saw the "How to tell your parents you're gay," book. "I think we understand now," George (Oliver's dad) said. Oliver thought George and Barbara realized Oliver was gay, but they actually had jumped to the conclusion that Cristian was. George assumed that Oliver felt uncomfortable living with a gay person. "Our family does not believe in the homosexual lifestyle," George added. Oliver winced. Cristian kept looking at Oliver hoping he'd say something. When George told them about the group that meets every week to help people recover from being gay, Cristian countered that George was the one with a problem. "This is who I am," Cristian said. George and Barbara wanted Oliver to look for another place to live. "You are not staying here with these people," George said. "Cris isn't gay, I am," Oliver stated. Cris and Layla stepped away from the conversation. Oliver explained that he was scared to tell his parents the truth, but George didn't believe a word his son said. Layla told George that Oliver was the same today as he was yesterday. Oliver begged his mother to tell his father the truth. Barbara said she didn't know. Oliver recounted the time she walked in on
Oliver and Kyle when they were seniors in college. "I broke up with Kyle that day," Oliver said. "I thought it was a phase," Barbara said to her stunned husband. George stormed out. "I'm sorry," Barbara said as she followed her husband. Oliver stood by the door holding back tears.
Natalie came in to Brody's hospital room and was starting to tell Jessica about the stalker, when a bloody and beaten Jared came to the door and collapsed. The doctor came by and wanted to bring him down to the ER. "The stalker came after me right after you left," Jared explained to a stunned Natalie, Brody and Jessica. Jared sat down and began to tell them everything. They had gotten another DVD from the stalker. Jared thought that the stalker wanted to kidnap him. Brody asked lots of questions but Jared wasn’t much help, saying he hadn't taken a good look at the stalker.
