Hm. If you call Proctor and Gamble at 1 800 331-3774, your first option is to press 1 if your call is about their advertising on MTV or BET. Pressing two allows you to 'register' your opinion on Luke/Noah (are you supportive, or do you have 'concerns').

I wasn't sure which to press. I fully support the exploration of a same-sex couple on daytime tv, but I certainly have concerns about Luke and Noah's current storyline (or lack thereof), which is inane, boring, and patently ridiculous. pg.com has a 'share your thoughts' form on the 'contact us' page, and so I also went there and asked why they were pandering to the people who've been calling them Satanists for decades so they can sell Amway. So if you feel the urge to elaborate beyond a thumbs up or down, there's a chance.

Does anyone else think it's a riot that Luke and Noah have only shared two kisses in the course of their months-long relationship because of the negative opinion it might evoke in the 'viewer constituency' [Goutman's term], but there seems to be no worry about offending that same constituency by mocking the sanctity of marriage by having a gay man marry an illegal citizen so she can stay in the country? Not only is it cliche, it's hypocritical.
