I am by no means a devoted Scrubs fan. I'm not overly crazy about either Patrick (Jason Thompson's another story!) or Robin as individuals. They can be fun, but most of the time for me, they are just two other characters. It's not the actors. It's the stories they're given. Which leads me to my gripe. Does anyone else see how obvious, contrived & poorly written this drivel is with Lisa, the female Patrick, who plops down in little town Port Charles of all the big name hospitals a hotshot like her could go to? She sends her girlfriend there to do recon to see how Patrick feels about the good old days & five minutes later she leaves what's supposedly a hopping career at a big well known hospital to go to Port Charles General & Patrick isn't the least bit suspicious of her reasons for being there? This ignorance from the guy who knows when women want him?
Then, after seeing alittle bit of his life, she zeroes in on, of all men, Patrick's little brother, with whom Patrick shares a good natured rivalry. Hmm! Purely coincidental.
The list of obvious ploys goes on & on & neither one has caught on to it. Robin knows her five minutes & is spilling her guts to her about everything. With all her experience with Carly, she can't tell when a woman's after her man?
Now, not only is Patrick accusing Robin of sabotaging that woman, he's sticking up for her when she's wrong. I hope by putting his a** on the line for her, that it bites him in the backside when the next mess hits.
I realize it's hard for THESE writers to keep happy soap couples lives interesting to the viewers, but we're still feeling the afteraffects of another psychotic woman. Let us have a breath before we have to deal with another one, a doctor no less.
