I'm loving this twist. This baby's story is going to now be so much more than a Newman/Abbot yawnfest! It will bring Christine back, rip Nina's heart out, get the chancellors involved, bring up all sorts of demons for Ronan... If they don't muck up the history, this is going to be a hell of a ride!

I agree This story has a TON of potential even if the setup was kind of murky. Would Billy really resort to buying a black market baby? Whats he gonna tell Victoria? Remember, this baby is also Daniel's child plus Phyllis' grandchild. There are many many beats of this story to be played. Bill Bell could weave years of story from this!

Victoria shouldn't ask one single question when he walks in with that baby. The only thing she needs to do is snap out of it, get up off of that couch, put the wine glasses back on the shelf, stop her whining over not being able to conceive and grab that baby and enjoy it as much as she can before it's identity is revealed.

that poor baby doesn't stand a chance......with Sheila's crazy genes and Phyliss as well. Throw in Rose Deville's spawn selling it. BTW, the woman playing Agnes, the one whose husband found the baby, wasn't she Bridgette Reardon on Guiding Light bank in the 90's . She still looks the same.

So much potential, and yes Victoria just needs to accepts that Billy did a private adoption and love the child. I would love the reveal not to be for Feb Sweeps, but make it last longer.

If Bill Bell were writing, the reveal would be February sweeps....in 2013. LOL

Loved that little nod to history with Primrose and her aunt from years ago. But seriously, Billy, why pay 2 million dollars for a kid that you are not even talking to your wife about?! I mean, she looks a mess since learning she can't have a child. It's sad but she is not that desperate for a child ... even an adopted child ... since you BOTH have not spoken about it!Plus, did anyone notice that the darn place that Billy bought the baby in was named BILLY'S MINI GOLF?! Bad set design, bad location. Wouldn't billy think that nothing is LEGIT if they are meeting in a mini golf shop?! Why not the GCAC or another hotel? This just is a dumb story all the way around!!!

I just hope that the Nina/Ronin story gets tied in to all this foolishness somehow and we get some great flashbacks to Darlene Conley as Rose Deville! That would be grand!How many of you recall that Nikki once crossed paths with Rose (during her first stint in the late 70s/early 80s) when Nikki was a fashion model. It would be a great nod to history if Nikki was somehow involved in this also. Get Nikki away from TGVN for awhile.

I think they were going after Greg but got Liz instead.
