I like Dante overall. He's adorable, charming, funny & has a great bod that we don't see nearly enough. But...Along with many of his father's more favorable qualities, he also appears to have inherited a couple of his less likeable characteristics as well.
First of all, like his father, he has the common sense of a tree stump. He adds 2 & 2 & gets 5. Supposedly, he's an experienced detective who's done undercover work before. Generally, cops research gangsters they'll be working to bust. They don't just read a rap sheet & hop into an undercover assignment. Which means he'd know a little something about Sonny & Jason as people before he came there. He'd know that Jason doesn't make mistakes & when he cleans up after himself or Sonny, it's flawless. The fact that Jason & Sonny have made mistakes in this should signal to him that it wasn't either one of them that whacked Claudia. It's obvious who killed her & why. I think even Lucky put the pieces together & he's not with S & J day in & day out like Dante. You can also see that Michael's been acting different since that night, which would be another piece he'd put in place if he was such a great detective.
The other negative trait he inherited is in both his mother's & father's family & that is stubborness. He's been told a million different ways by several people, including Ronnie (his boss, partner?) to get out of this investigation. Yet he stays, compromising his safety & his mother's as well & now, Lulu's. He refuses to acknowledge that too many people know who he really is. In real life (I know the writers hate to do these stories the way they'd play out in real life), Dante's superiors would yank him off the case because there is no way he can keep his cover. His mother, cousin & girlfriend all have close ties to Sonny & Johnny. And even with all his "connections", Jax wouldn't be able to keep Dante on this case because of all the many ways this could go bad.
Once again, the writers are taking a character that started out with a lot of potential & dumbing him down, making him just another keystone kop without a clue. Depressing.

They write LuLu relationships basically the same way its formula its like they pass down the same script from guy to guy and fill in the details but the outline is the same...
I'm just not a huge LuLu fan I don't dislike her at all but I didn't envision Laura's daughter to be like this
I've read some poster's comments that she's more Spenceresque and Lucky is a lot more like Laura
Nik also has strong Laura qualities although he is a Cassadine through and through but...
Its the "guy" who becomes less interesting for me once he's with her because its the same routine...I'm hoping they flip the script and do something different that's all thus far its been the same ole same ole push/pull....so I won't rush to judgment and see how this plays out further into their storyline...

Stumpy is his father. That's the end of the taking down of Sonny Corinthos organization but it started out good though....I was buying it.

you brought up some points I hadn't thought of but after reading this its like Dominic's cover is sooooo blown but I'm thinking once Sonny finds out his parentage the winds will change towards Dominic's favor and he'll be on Olivia's case for at least a minute.

Well, all I can say is that I am not happy with the writng and i am only giving GH until 12/31, then if I don't feel like any good changes are coming, I am checking out, for a sceond time. So sad. The show has so much otential and so much talent, I hate to see it wasted.
I wish I knew what the outcome of Dante's "out-ing" will be!Personally, I can hardly wait to see what's going to happen next. It is much more interesting than seeing Liz and Nikolas falling all over each other. BTW, I thought yesterday's episode with Franco was great. Maxie must be crazy, job or no job! This is really dark stuff! I guess I've gotten used to all the shootouts and other miscellaneous killings, but this feels a little different.
I'm also enjoying the Franco stuff. Can't wait to see where this storyline goes
I hope Kirsten really smacked him!!!!The whole time she was with Franco, I kept thinking she hasn't gotten him to agree to the photo shoot, and she probably won't! It was just a way to distract Maxie from her mission.

I am sooooo tired of this story line altogether..First we find out that Sonny and Olivia have a son together that he does not know about..okay fine, that was what a yr ago we found out about that...now the son is on the show as well and he has been on here for what 2 or 3 months...I mean how much longer do we have to deal with this...I am hoping that everything comes to head by year end at least...I just can't wait until Jax finds out that Domte is Sonny son..his face is going to be cracked..lolGH needs to take pointers from OLTL we found about about Daniella about a month or so agor and Todd knows already...now that is what I like..lol
Todd firgures it out. He put 2+2 together, and got a child out of it. that is in keeping with the character. Todd is whacko, but he is smart.Sonny, on the other hand, is a s dumb as a dildo. And that's WITH the batteries! Sonny will never figure it out. He will have to be told.After this reveal, the character of Sonny needs a break.

ITA with everything that's been said. I was a fan of DOMte's since day 1 but once LuLu found out his true identity and ber actions since then has turned me off of this s/l. He's almost been neutered b/c he's constantly chasing after LuLu making sure she isn't spilling her guts. This s/l needs to wrap up fast b/c it's gone on far too long and has llost the punch it once had. It's been Guza-inated.
