Okay, so I seriously have no concept of time, so I don't know if these are the stories you are talking about (or if they even happened anywhere near 2002) but here are my guesses:B&B - Sally was in danger of losing Spectra. She was going to close down and file bankruptcy when she found and reunited with Macy's dad (Adam). He paid Spectra's debts and together they tried a relaunch. To my knowledge that is the closest to someone else owning Spectra before Jackie M bought it.Y&R - I think you are talking about the death of Cassie's bio dad (Frank? or something). Anyway, Sharon thought she killed him (I think on New Years?) and dumped his body. He then started "haunting" her, so she (and Nikki which was too funny!) searched the sewers for his body. I only vaugely remember this story (Nikki and Sharon walking through the sewers is the clearest memory I have) but I think Frank was actually alive and taunting Sharon for leaving him for dead. I also think he ended up really dead later. I don't know how much help this is - if you haven't already, you should repost the question on the Y&R page - some of those posters have way better memories than I do!

On Y&R that wasn't Cassie's dad that was Christian. He had raped Sharon and was tormenting her. That's when her and Nikki dumped his body in the sewer. It was glorious seeing Nikki in a fur coat sloshing through the muck!
