If they were taking this time to show me a better Ryan...they leave me unimpressed and have been completely unsuccessful.

Ryan Sucks, pretty much sums it up for me. I agree with almost everything you said except for the "one big happy family". That never did sit well with me and I'm from a blended family.

I know that Soaps have characters on that you have that love-hate feeling about them. But with Ryan I just hate him and want him off my screen.

Ryan is just as vile as the stocker who tried to rape Kendall. Neither one showed any kind of respect to Kendall when she asked them both to leave her hotel room.

Ryan needs to get back on his tricycle and jump off another cliff and this time take his Greenbuterfly with him.

No Ryan would make Pine Valley a better town. I really see no point to the character-expect to be an annoyance.

When will Kendall ever be able to have a voice against her abusers? WHEN??? I really wish this character Ryan would jump on his bike and DIE for real this time. Although Ryan has been told that he and Zach are friends and that Zach and Kendall are happily married with a child, he shows no respect for their marriage and family. I don't care what his disability is, a person with any integrity would honor that. This is supposed to be a hero--or as the promos say, a good guy? I think not.

The character of Ryan has most definitely exceeded his usefulness on this show. Its obvious in that every single storyline they put him in results in the character being hated more than before. He needs to go -- and take his Green butterfly with him.

If the writers wanted to make the story interesting Kendall finally putting her foot down against Ryans attitude toward her would be what a lot of people would pay to see but I have given up that it will ever happen. Every time I begin to tolerate Ryan, they go and make me hate him again.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm supposed to be feeling sorry for him in this s/l. He has totally disregarded his marriage, and the Slaters by obsessing over how his heart feels rather than his head. I haven't really seen him really give his relationship with Annie a chance, he is to obsessed with his feelings for Kendall.

Hope he starts to remember his feelings for Greenlee or Annie and leaves Kendall alone.

Now that would definitely pick up rating. AMC might even shoot to number 1!

If TPTB at ABCD and AMC could ever figure out that shoving Ryan down the viewers' throats in essentially the same story for the last 10 years is NOT the way to make people like him, this show might start improving. He needs to either be able to carry his own storyline and sink or swim on his own or else spend a good chunk of time in the Backburner Cafe. There's just nothing likeable or remotely "heroic" about this lunkhead. Zip. Zero. Nada. Nyet. Get him off my screen, please. Ok, I am definitely over this amnesia crap (especially Greenlee whining 'why doesn't he remember me?') BUT I love Ryan....hopefully they will get him back on track soon. And, as much as I love Zach...I still kinda miss Ryan and Kendall. I know, I know...I can hear you booing me already.

The hypocrisy around here regards Ryan and how he feels the world revolves around him. He is trapsing around the country chasing a memory, while he has a daughter at home whose heart he is breaking. Perhaps that would be a more responsible relationship to persue.

This amnesia storyline is absolutely horrible and it's definitely taken any progress they've made in re-building Ryan back as a semi-decent character away. I'm never going to like the guy, but he had gotten to the point where he was somewhat tolerable. But now? Ugh.

No, but he did drug Zach, he's the reason Greenlee almost ruined Bianca's life-he caused Jack to have to tell Greenlee about Bianca's pregnancy(which Binks didn't want anyone to know, but the gnome wouldn't stop) and so on...

It would be nice if the writers allowed someone to remember what really happened 4 years ago. I just want the writers to get the history correct. I guess they can't remember what happened 9 months ago, so 4 years would be expecting to much.

These current writers can't even seem to remember what they wrote last week, let alone last month, last year or 4 years ago. It really takes away from the drama of the storyline..and its counterproductive. I don't understand the purpose of recreating or ignoring history. I don't know anyone who likes it.

I do NOT understand WHAT the writers are ever trying to do with Ryan. It is supposed to be a good thing that he is lying to his wife and pretending he remembers..and using Annie's feelings to do it? And that Greenlee thinks this is a good idea?

Are we supposed to think that Ryan and Greenlee are the two most immoral people on the planet..or are we supposed to support them.

Because frankly, if hate is the plan, the writers are being really successful at it. However, if we are supposed to feel sympahthic to them in any way, shape or form..it's not working at all.

However, I have NO idea what the writers intentions are here. Do they actually HAVE intentions? I am just totally confused.

My confusion and hat for Ryan grows everyday, with each script.I felt like Ryan rejected Zach's offer to sit with him after he apologized because he knows that Zach would see right through his "memories about Annie". I don't think any of them really brought that he was remembering and his apology to them didn't really have the sincerity or sensitivity it deserved. In fact, it seemed pretty desperate on Ryan's part. I hope he at least had good intentions, but who knows.

I don't get ABC's obsession with Ryan. IMHO, his 3 facial expressions are getting old.
