I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I've yet to receive the digital version of SOD. It's usually arrived long before now and I've already gotten the SOW. I'm wondering if it has not been sent out or not?
I havent received mine as yet either, hey do u guys know how to save the scans to photobucket? I want to post them on my board but don't know how.
You are absolutely not supposed to save scans to Photobucket and redistribute them. Excerpts of SOD or SOW may only be in text form, and minimal at that, falling under the basic tenets of fair use.Thanks!
Mala, thanks for that info, but how can a person get scans for their own personal use? I mean if a person bought a SOD mag, they have the right to do what they want with it, after all they spend their money to buy it right. So if they decide to scan it on their pc and post it on their website is that against the rules? I don't know, just asking.
Everything in SoD, SoW or any magazine (for that matter) is under copyright. The company owns the rights to the story, pictures, etc. If you scan it and post it on a website you are breaking the copyright law. Same thing with downloading music. If you are caught you can end up paying a stiff fine and/or jail time.
Could someone tell me what this SOD Digital Edition means.I get soap opera digest and soap opera weekly in the mail.but they are always late or not at all.I have never heard of this.

I talked to Zinio about 3 hours ago and they hadn't received it yet. There was some production problem which seems crazy since the print edition is in stores. I've never had it be this late!
