yeah I kept waiting for Sam to walk out of the shadows and lock eyes with Jason but instead they went to commercial, I thought "Heck I could have fastforwarded thru that!"

That song was stuck in my head all night. I agree what was the point. I thought ok Jason is upset walking around... then I saw the ride Kristina was on & I thought ok perfect time for Jason to look over, see her & go to the rescue. But nope. Just our favorite Hit Man crying again....

I also wonder what the point of that scene was. The only possibility I could come up with was Jason was realizing violence can harm his loved ones anywhere, anytime, and it doesn't have to be mob-related. Wasn't that the whole point of keeping Jake's paternity a secret? So that no one harms Jake to get to Jason? Look how well that's worked out - twice! I also wondered why he and Elizabeth both stopped running after Jake and turned to look at each other. Bad parenting move! If your kid runs away from you, especially in a busy place like a carnival, hall A$$ after him!!! Don't wait to see what the secret biological father is going to do!
