I am 44 years old. I use to spend my summers with my Grandma. Everyday we would sit down together and watch Guiding Light. This show is my connection to my Grandma. I will feel lost without it. I remember the year she died was the year that Roger Thorpe came back from the dead. I was so excited that I grapped the phone to call her. I quickly realized that she was gone but I knew she would have been excited too.

In recent years I have found the show to be almost unwatchable. I can not stand the way they shoot the show. I dont find it neccessary to see the actors nose hairs and the pores of their skin. I was so happy to see Grant back as Phillip. I miss the old gang. I am so sorry to see it go but I blame whosever decision it was to film the show this way. It was very very bad idea.

Hi folks! In order to make it easier for everyone to find posts they want to read, we'd like to try to keep the subjects (at least a little) organized. So let's move the discussion of GL's passing to the "Is it Over" thread. Thanks!
