I'd love to see them in LV, but I want Zack to stay the same. Leave Patrick dead ( may he rest in peace away from Marty) I think both would be great additions to OLTL.

If they both go over I would think they are going to say Zach is a cousin of Patrick or something like that. I think that is what is going to happen. I mean OLTL is moving into AMC studio so it would be easy for them.

That is what I've been hoping for... Something has to happen soon right? They start shooting LA right after new year. This could be very interesting. Has anyone else said they will not make the move?

I don't believe so but what was weird was the article didn't mention Susan Lucci at all. Never said she was staying or going. Said some of the players who aren't on contract who are reacuring may not be coming like Opal. It is so sad. But most are going. They are going to release an official list soon.

If Thorsten and Alicia are staying behind, I hope that Pratt will have the decency to write a happy ending for them in Pine Valley. Let them ride off into the sunset together, happy ever after and all that. If it ends with them apart, it will be a real slap in the face to all of us who have waited patiently for a reconciliation.

I am willing to wager that they write them out, then recast Kendall, then Zach. Kendall is Erica's daughter, and if La Lucci only makes sporadic appearances after relocating, then Kendal becomes more or less an important character after ther move. Zach has no real ties to the canvass other than baby Ian. His character is expendable. This is really bizzare...It will become the Liza-Luner show, or Melrose NY...whatever.

This week's SOD says that Thorsten's contract is good until March, but he declined the move in order to stay with Susan and their girls. Alicia remains under contract, but said she wouldn't make a permanent move to LA because her husband owns a restaurant in NYC. So, it appears that they only plan to work out their contracts and say "it's been real." I can't imagine their roles being recast, though. They've been such a power couple that it would be hard for viewers to accept new faces in their roles. We'll just have to wait and see.

I wonder if those contracts are still good. When they signed, they signed for a NY based show. Unless it's in fine print that they have to go where ever they show moves too. Not location shots, but moves too...then I don't see how those contracts hold up. What I read was they will commute & do pre-taped shows, but for how long.I still say the best thing would be for Zach & Kendell to move to LV / OLTL. Those too would be excepted. Just make Zach a cousin of Patrick's. "They" may look a like, but they are nothing a like.

I would like to thing that the powers that be at AMC learned with the huge mistake in re-casting Liza the way they did....Re-casting Kendall & Zack would be like re-casting Luke & Laura. It would never work. I don't care who you get. I wouldn't even want ( as much as I loved , loved, loved her) Sarah Michelle back as Kendall....

Looking at the list in SOD of the actors who plan to go to LA, it's beginning to look more like AMC LA is a spin-off of the original. Except for Tad, all those other characters are dispensable (including Ryan -- most of all Ryan). I can't wait for the "official" list from AMC to see who else is moving. I can't imagine losing all the Hubbards with the storyline they have going. Even if Thorsten and Alicia commute or pre-tape scenes until their contracts expire, losing Zach and Kendall will leave a huge void in the canvas.

Something I'll miss is the out door scenes. They have been doing alot out doors, so has OLTL. On GH they don't. LA looks nothing like upstate NY...where booth cities are located.The can get great shots of the beach, but about it. I do think they are trying to make this a totally different show using the same name. Really, I'd rather they just end it. Give us something good & let us say good bye. This slow death stinks. At least GL fans had time & knew what was going on. AMC is just sneaking it up behind. With out the oldies you don't have the same show.

I have to laugh when you say they can get great shots of the beach. Pennsylvania has no ocean front, but that didn't stop them from showing couples on blankets at the "beach." At least when they began doing remote shoots at the yacht club, it was real water. But do we assume the yacht club is on a lake???
