Thank you Mara for your recent article in SOD concering AMC. I could not agree more. It is nice to see someone writing in print what the fans see. I really appreciate your comments about Thorsten Kaye. AMC needs TK as Zach. I for one miss TK, Zach, and Zendall! I still tape the show, but only watch AM and SL. I do not like Kendall with either of the current guys they are trying her out with.
Thanks again for the article.
Yes I do agree with everything you said Mara. And Gator is right Dixie isn't needed. I like Tad and Cara and think they need to be given a chance without the interference from another 'back from the dead Dixie'. They did make a mistake with having Dixie mix it up with Zach. It made no sense and made the die hard Tad and Dixie fans despise her. Big mistake! I didn't mind that they killed her off. Tad and Cara have a good chance. I hope AMC doesn't blow it. With all the hype Griffin got, it's his sister Cara that has the fans wanting more proving once again it's the fans that decide who should be paired with whom and not the writers. What's on paper doesn't look quite the same on screen and the fans can see it. Give Griffin to Amanda or better yet, send him back to Africa to doctor the needy.Never before has AMC needed a leading man as they do now. The biggest mistake they made was to make or to even think Ryan Lavery could be a leading man with Rebecca Budig as his leading lady. It isn't all writing, but who they put in front of the camera, production values which have suffered since moving to LA, and directing. They need to improve on all of those things.Thorsten Kaye and David Canary, both embodied every element a leading man should have, and their presence is desparately needed.
ITA..... Great article.....and right on target.....not to mention, dead on target....Kudos to Mara....
I owe you another thanks, Mara. I just read your blog about how insensitive AMC was to Zendall fans (yet again) with Kendall's fantasy about kissing...I can't even finish the sentence, and where it was done, too. Insensitivity with Kreizman and Swajeski writing AMC is a daily occurrence. And I feel just about every day that despite lipservice, where Kendall touches Zach's photo or their wedding photo, AMC could really care less about Zach/Zendall fans or good taste. Let's hope that with Lorraine Broderick at the helm, she'll not only show some restraint and respect, but will actually try to write for a very much alive Zach, sooner rather than later. AMC's time is running out, and as things stand, I can't say I'll miss it.

ICAM. It was a wonderful article and it said things that needed to be said. Buried in the article, with its criticisms of the killing off of Dixie by pancakes and how ABC should have tried harder to keep TK, is the implication that if ABC tried NOW with TK, things might improve. I'll be honest here and say that if Cara and Tad are given a shot, I'm not so sure Dixie is needed. She's been brought back from the dead once before, and there's no doubt that it was a huge mistake to have her fall for Zach, rather than spend time with Tad, but even so, I get the feeling that alot of fans like MEK's and LH's chemistry and wouldn't mind seeing where things lead. We've also seen Ghost Dixie 3x now. But Zach is needed. I don't see the audience loving Griffin and Kendall the same way that they did Zach and Kendall, and TK's strong, charismatic presence has not been matched since Zach's "death" in Nov. His absence is felt every day. They need to get him back, for no matter how long AMC has left.
