Is it just me or does no one else find the beating given to Cole and Markko as abusive? A supposed adult, I know there is a question there, hits two teenage kids and no one presses charges. I have been a fan of Todd for quite awhile but I now think he has gone too far. He confuses his actions with Marty to Cole and Starr and can not find a dividing line. The writers have written Todd into a corner. This time he has become unlikeable and has no redeeming qualities. As if he had any before. Martys' rape was inexcusable but his character had been built with a modicum of likeability. Not anymore, not done well.
They are young men but they are children. Parents have a responsibility to teach their "children" the right way to behave. Tod is going to have a hard time convincing anyone that he is right..when he goes about it the wrong way.Violence is violence. The fact that Cole should have been prosecrute for what he did is unrelated. Two wrongs dont make a right. Sadly Todd is viewing Cole by comparing him to himself and he is using blackmail to get what he wants from his daughter. Do what I say or I have your boyfriend in jail. That's not how a father should behave.Todd was a rapist so Cole must be also. It's the way he survives. He is the biggest hypocrit around.
Yes but Cole is a strapping 17 year old built up by steroids, and under the influence did try to harm Starr. If I was her parent I would never forget that.

It was sick. I am not mad at Todd for imprisoning Starr she deserves it but its never cool to beat a kid, EVER

It is when you walk in on your teenage daughter in bed with her boyfriend he should have kick his A--. and slapped her in her mouth for the way she talked to him after he found them but........ oop thats not socially exceptable is it?

Lets see: They are young men, not children. Cole almost killed a man and received a free pass, knew Miles was keeping a severely wounded Todd prisoner, was in bed with his teen-age daughter and he knew how Todd would react. Markko was hiding in Starr's closet, and would not say why. They are lucky it wasn't worse.JMHO.
