On July 1, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Greg Vaughan (Lucky; ex-Diego, YOUNG AND RESTLESS) will be among the “Spelling kids” paying tribute to Aaron Spelling in a VH1 special honoring the uberproducer life and accomplishments. “MALIBU SHORES was my first job,” Vaughan recalls proudly of the role of Josh. (He went on to appear on numerous other Spelling shows, including CHARMED as Dan and BEVERLY HILLS, 90210, as Cliff, as well.) “And Aaron Spelling was a great first boss. He’s been very good to me throughout my career. I have the utmost respect for that man. He’s a little Jewish boy out of Dallas. He lived in poverty and now look at him. He’s one of the most successful producers in television ever, and such a great, humble human being. I love people who have that much humility, and who have achieved so much success.”
