Their are way to many to vote for just one. I can think of a few just off the top of my head. Erika Slazak (Spelling) Vikki OLTL, Robin Strasser-Dorian OLTL, Jeanne Cooper-Kay Y&R, Melody Thomas Scott - Nikki Y &R, Susan Lucci - Erica AMC. I could go on and on. Could never vote for just one!

I wouldn't place Melody Thomas Scott in the acting category based off of our criteria. She is not the strongest actress and other actors outshine her on Y&R. But I see you on the rest.

I don't agree with you, I'm sorry. Melody Thomas Scott is a fantastic actress, she just hasn't had much SL lately, to show that. I am totally shocked that Kristain Alfonso (Days) was not on there. She is awesome. I think Michelle Stafford(Phyllis) should have been on there too. Hopefully we will get more opportunites to vote on others that are so deserving to be nominated for this Competition.

If Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Y&R) isn't in the running then its not even worth a vote.

You named two actresses who started off very green in the acting department KA nor MTS are the legendary type of actresses that say an Erika Slezak or a Kim Zimmer are. They may have grown over the years but as a trained actor myself there is not a theater professor in the world who would co-sign on MTS or KA is the creme of the crop of soap actors. For instance Renee Jones murders most days actors in the acting department and during her 3 year run on the front burner the cast themselves called her the most talented actress on the show. As for Y&R the fact that Victoria Rowell became the most popular female star and the only female one to take 200,000 viewers with when she left (SOD and SOW have confirmed that) and was also named as one the 3 most dynamic actresses from Y&R by SOW and only Kimberlyn Brown and MS were also named show's that in the acting department MTS never quiet had that type of talent.

Oh by the way MS almost made the top 2 but the voting went for KB as Shelia for the second person from Y&R.And yes when looking at acting talent not ever popular actress or actor can act. We agree. Drake H. (ex-John DOOL) is a terrible actor and he was hugely popular. Fancy that!
