Nobody seems to be posting on Days anymore. Is anyone else glad to see the escalating feud between Victor and Stefano? I have always thought the Days writers should focus more on Victor than Stefano. Victor doesn't have to rely on science fiction gimmicks to intimidate his enemies. His icy gaze and threatening voice are all that's necessary. He is much more believable as a man to be feared. Although, I am glad to see that they are not writing Stefano as the buffoon he used to be. His "underlings" nowadays are much more realistic than the two clowns he used to have at his beck and call, and there's less mad scientist stuff like erasing John's memory and implanting chips to control his victims. Still, when push comes to shove and one character must be "eliminated," I do hope it's Stefano. (Not that I want to put Joe Mascolo out of a job, but I've had my fill of his character) The DiMera dialogue, though, is coming dangerously close to ripping off Mario Puzo's Godfather. Any day now, I expect to hear EJ or Stefano say "we're going to the mattresses!"

I totally agree, I love Days too. Days has become quite good these last few months, but I have to say that I am so pissed that they are letting Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) go again. He is missed already and needs to be on my tv. I am shocked that they are killing Mickey off, when they signed Kevin Dobson to play Mickey and we only got to see him once or twice in the past year. I personally wish they would bring back John and Marlena, Steve and Kayla, and Tony and Anna. I know they killed off Tony, but its been undone before. I hate Phillip, Stephanie, Chloe, (BORING) and most Definitely Carly coming between Bo & Hope. I LOVE BO & HOPE, SAMI & RAFE, ARIANNA & BRADY, ANYTHING BRADY(OH YEAH!) and I am so loving have Vivian back, she and Victor are a hoot. I am going to make one more plea (PLEASE KEEP BRYAN DATTILO AS LUCAS) THE SHOW HAS BEEN WITHOUT HIM FOR TOO LONG ALREADY!
OMG! I didn't know Days was killing off Mickey Horton! I suspected something was up when they used photos in two scenes of Maggie and John Clarke's Mickey and a flashback of Mickey giving Maggie dancing shoes when she was paralyzed. I just thought perhaps they were bringing John Clarke back. I never did hear whatever happened to him. I thought Kevin Dobson might have gotten a part elsewhere, where the producers actually used him in scenes. Showing those old photos of John Clarke sort of implies that Kevin Dobson was a figment of our imaginations. But, if they're killing Mickey, then they have to show flashbacks of Mickey and Maggie in better days, and the only old scenes they have are with John Clarke. Bummer!

Here I am, another Days fanatic, I love this show, I have been watching it for years, it makes my DAY pardon the pun. I can't wait for Sammi to get her baby back. .........PLEASE....
Except for a brief lapse when I didn't have a VCR to tape when I went back to work, I've been on board from the very first show. I remember Julie when she was a little rebellious teenager. Bless her heart, the stuff she went through over the years. I'm so glad they got the writing back on track because I absolutely hated the satanic possession and the "they're all dead, oh no, they're not" storylines. Forget all that hocus pocus science fiction crap. We're getting good stories now.
I have been watching this show for over 25 years and am so pissed now that so many veterans have been treated so badly that I can no longer watch this show. Frankly the storylines have been lacking recently. Sorry to say, but the mass introduction of Passion stars, Hernandez Family etal, to replace Horton family members only pisses me off. There is no real romance any more. Just alot of elevator and bed hoping and no development of relationships. I don't mind waiting to see a relationship develop. I enjoy the long looks, the angst, the friendship, etc. You become invested in your characters. Plus frankly I was very upset when they rewarded a rapist with the love from his victim. It was such poor taste. Unfortunately daytime tv is no longer what it was. Daytime soaps are being canceled yearly. Days will soon join that list of cancelled shows.

Makes you wonder. Storyline has been pretty bad lately. Now I can tell you if Bryan Datillo was back on Days I would be watching. Who wouldn't want to look at this in the afternoon, Bring him back and I know some people who would definitely watch.
