Excellent post! Looking forward to an Ian sighting!

Awesome post, Diva! I hope that Ian will be written into the story or at least on camera soon. That little guy is the Slaters lucky charm.I miss seeing him.

ICAM. Ian is the child that Zendall fans longed for because he would be the culmination of their wonderful love affair and marriage. As Diva said, such a rarity on AMC--a child born out of love to a happily married couple. This child should be celebrated--not hidden away. I realize they can't have infants on every day but we've seen a lot more of Jenny than we have Ian. I love Spike but I think we should see a little of Zach/Ian now and then--and the whole Slater clan together.

Great post Diva.What amazes me is this is the child Zach Slater has been waiting his entire life for and yet we have seen him more with Spike (man time) than we have with Ian. These writers seem to only be able to write angst and have no idea about love and family which has always been what AMC stood for. The Slaters have gone through more angst in the last eight months than most soap couples go through over five years. I want this show to return to family and who better than the Slater Family to make this happen. WE WANT IAN.

I think it would be more realisitic for the Slaters to stay HOME once in a while. I don't know any new parents..especially parents with issues who seem to go out every night. I strongly doubt Kendall would have agreed to go on a book tour if it were not for the plot device to have her spend alone time with Aidan...which has no point, since the only reason they were together that one night was becaue they feared their partners were dead...not because they have some hidden agenda.And I strongly doubt that if Kendall WAS out of town, Zach would be anywhere else but home, so at least ONE of the parents would be home with their children. But the writers found it more important for him to be out pole dancing with the kidnapper of his stepchild. Go figure.I want to see Kendall and Zach home with their boys and dealing with whatever problems they have to deal with ALONE..the way real couples do. And I agree, we should see BOTH boys, not just Spike. Both had critical issues this past year and you would think the parents would not let them out of their sight.

Oooo...Fabulous post, Diva! ICAM. I am begining to feel that the next time we see Ian, he will be walking onto set. Where is Ian? We have missed the possibility of soooo many sweet and tender family moments, the possibility for light hearted Slater family scenes with Zach and Kendall fawning over their son. In early August, Kendall and Zach spoke of waking up in the morning surrounded by Spike and Ian. I long to see that on my screen. Come on AMC wake up and show us what the picture of perfection looks like - the Slater clan as a family unit!

It's a real BIG SHAME we can't have our Zach/Ian man-time bonding scenes like we got with Zach & Spike. Those were some of TK/Zach's all-time best stuff & just something so sexy & yet poignant about a rugged guy like Zach holding a fragile infant. Those adorable Red Wings fairy tales & all the other stuff.. well we are being cheated out of that with Ian & I know there were complaints about too many kids on AMC, but I don't think anyone wanted Ian to disappear for mos on end! Give us Ian with his parents & give us Ian having mantime with Zach! You know Zach supposedly had longed for this child & never got to be with Ethan & this is just absurdto blow off Ian this way & not have Zach spend more time with him. He is with Spike way more than Ian, not that there's anything wrong there, but give Ian equal time!!

I find it disgusting that AMC won't give Ian or his parents(Zach/Kendall) the respect they deserve with good storytelling and more airtime without Spike, Ryass, Greenpea, Aiden or Annie.. Why does everything has to be about Ryass and his little Monkey child. I resent Spike because the show is telling us that Ian is not important. Ian is the child of AMC's Supercouple. What kind of sense does it make to never mention him or show him bonding with his mother and father. No wonder RATINGS and fan moral is low and fans leaving in droves, because this kind of writing for the show doesn't make any sense.

You said it TKLOVER and DIVA and so many other great posts I worried and fretted about the survival of this precious angel this child born of love and commitment. The same love and commitment they have tried to destroy the last few months the same love and comm itment that has kept me tuning into this crapfest for these last few months. This same love and commitment that I still have faith in even tho they don't want us to the same I will support and call and write about for as long as it takes even if our not seeing IAN is part of trying to break our will and spirit ....it won't work on me because TEAM SLATER is worth it!! Where is IAN SLATER he is in our hearts ALWAYS!!

Today was a typical day when they could have shown us Zach and Kendall with their children. Just before going to bed they could have been shown tucking in both Ian and Spike and then taken their romantic bath together. But no! Baby Ian is such a cutie pie. I just loved his sweet fat cheeks, he was so yummy. I am glad that we finally got to see Ian.

About time we got to see Ian! What a beautiful baby. If Judy Blye Wilson was the one to cast this baby to play Ian, she did a great job! Now, could we possibly see him with his Mom and Dad onscreen more than once every six months please???

Thank you for showing Ian Slater. I was so happy to see Zach with his own 'little man'. We saw so much of Spike over the past two years, it's time to give equal time to his brother Ian. He is a Zendall baby, through and through; too handsome for words. How can he not be. He has his mother's beautiful eyes. I want Zach to recognize that each time he has Ian in his arms. Did I notice that Ian has his dad's cleft chin too?

I was so happy to see Ian! He is sooo cute! It has been way too long since we saw him. I hope we get to see him again soon. I was really beginning to think he was a figment of my imagination or maybe another whitewash never to be heard of or seen again.

Me too Phyllis...They said they were going to do it as soon as he came home. Instead of celebrating with Zach being home and Ian, we were force fed the whitewashing of Greenlee instead. AMC better give us our christening.
