I was a little shocked that Marlena didn't return for Alice's memorial....does that mean Deidre Hall has closed the door to DAYS? Or does she really ask for so much they can't afford her?
Supposedly they will be showing who the fans are requesting. Kayla and Jennifer returning are steps in that direction, I suppose.
It was hard to believe that Marlena and John were written out to begin with. But, there have been so many things going on lately that Marlena would NEVER miss - Alice's funeral, Sami and this whole EJ debacle, Sydney's kidnapping, Grace's funeral. No way would she miss those. I find it difficult to believe that DAYS didn't reach out to Deidre Hall, but no one wants to address that question. Was it a money issue? Was it a grudge issue? Bring back Marlena and John!
I TOTALLY AGREE, BRING BACK JOHN AND MARLENA PRONTO. DEIDRE HALL AND DRAKE HOGESTYN HAVE BEEN MISSED SO MUCH. THE STORYLINES HAVE BEEN EMPTY WITHOUT THEIR CHARACTERS BEING A PART OF THEM. TPTB NEED TO LISTEN AND QUITE BRINGING IN ALL THESE NEWBIES WE DON'T CARE ABOUT AND BRING BACK THE ONES WE DO. THE RATINGS WOULD SOAR IF THEY WERE BROUGHT BACK AND ISN'T THAT WHAT'S ITS ALL ABOUT. THE RATINGS AND KEEPING THE VIEWERS HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what the reason was behind Marlena and John not coming for the funeral, I only know that it sucked that they didn't. I miss Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn. Days needs to bring them back ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
