In the hotel room where Katherine was being held prisoner, Annie told her to
stop fidgeting. Kay asked if she could be untied, but Annie refused. Kay
yelled that she deserved to be treated better than this; Annie then accused
"Marge" of pretending to be Kay. "I am Katherine Chancellor," Kay insisted
as Annie approached her with her knife. Annie believed that Marge killed
Kay. "After I read this, I feel like I know her," Annie said, shaking the
memoir at Kay. Annie warned "Marge" that if she was responsible for Kay's
"death," she'd pay. Meanwhile at Crimson Lights, Clint noted that Esther was
the "real ticket" and implored Roger to marry her so they could get her
money. After, Roger called and asked if he could get the waiting period for
a marriage license waived.... Kay complained that she was having circulation
problems and implored Annie — a nurse — to help her out. Annie refused and
threatened to use her knife — named Ahote — on her. Annie finally untied her
and allowed her to be free for five minutes. Kay noted that Clint once
kidnapped her before. "If you don't believe me, ask him yourself," Kay said.
Clint then returned. "Ask me what?" he wondered. Clint was furious to see
that Kay wasn't tied up and called her a liar. He implored her to prove she
isn't Kay and asked her to mention a memory that wasn't in the book.
Unfortunately, she couldn't.
At Newman Enterprises, Neil, J.T. and Victor discussed Colleen's desire to
take over Brad's seat on the board. Victor didn't think she had any business doing so, given her lack of experience. He believed that someone was prompting
her. After, J.T. asked Colleen if she really wanted to take on Victor.
Colleen insisted that she has every right to the seat and wanted to honor her
father. "Too bad the great Victor Newman doesn't like it," she sniffed.
Later, J.T. told Victor that Colleen has made up her mind and is pretty
stubborn. J.T. believed that she'd back down once she lost interest. Colleen
then entered Vic's office and he suggested that they have a chat about her
joining the board. He reminded her that the company is Newman Enterprises,
but she insisted that she has a right to the seat and could do a good job.
"I know that you hate that I'm doing this to honor him because you hated
him, but Victor, I am not going anywhere," Colleen stated.
Tyra and Ana prepared to flee Genoa City. Ana asked if she could play a game
on Tyra's cell phone, then quietly dialed Neil. She then kept him on the
line as she asked Tyra where they were going. Neil heard Tyra say that they
were going, "Far away," and promise to not let anyone take Ana from her....
Karen freaked out over Ana being MIA and wanted to have an Amber Alert
issued. Neil soon found Ana and Tyra at the bus station and warned that this
would look bad to child services. He noted that Tyra couldn't keep running
away. Later, Marisol from Child Services told the group that Ana would have
to go to a new foster home; Ana refused. Neil explained that it was a
misunderstanding and took the blame. Child Services agreed to give the
Winters home another chance. Karen promised that nothing like this would
happen again.
At the hospital, Esther offered to move in with Chloe and baby Cordelia.
Chloe flashed back to when she told Cane that he's not the baby's father.
Chloe was about to tell Esther the truth, but they were interrupted by Lily
who came by to check on Chloe and the baby. Chloe wasn't eager to have Lily
there.
An unkempt Billy met up with Jill at Jabot. She was horrified by her son,
"smelling like a brewery" and noted that Cane would be more professional.
Jill feared that Billy was in trouble. He began to tell Jill about Chloe's
baby, but they were interrupted by Cane; he revealed that Billy's the father
of Chloe's baby. Jill was shocked and pointed out that Cane would need a good
divorce lawyer. She remarked that she always knew Chloe was a gold digger.
After, Billy went to the hospital and Chloe showed him how to hold their
daughter. Cane peered into the room and watched, heartbroken. Cane then
called Michael and asked if they could meet up right away. Lily found him in
the hospital hallway and asked Cane if they could talk.... After Billy left,
Esther kept fussing over Chloe. Chloe stopped her and was again about to
explain how Billy was the father. This time, Roger interrupted them and
informed Esther that he arranged for them to get married that day in the
hospital — with Chloe serving as the witness. Chloe was aghast that he
wanted to wed her mother in a hospital and feared that Esther was rushing
it. However, Esther gleefully agreed to marry him right then.
Lily and Cane went to the coffeehouse, where she apologized to him for not
telling him about Cordelia's paternity. She insisted that she would've told
him eventually. He assured Lily that he'd be okay, "because for the first
time in a long time I'm deciding my life," he said. Lily was annoyed when he
lumped her in with Chloe and Billy. "Go back to what you want and to hell
with everything else," he bitterly told Lily.
Paul informed Jill that he learned that Roger is a bigamist — who likes to
marry wealthy women and then take them for their money. He also learned that
Roger got a waiver for a marriage license. Jill was eager to warn Esther.
Meanwhile, in Chloe's hospital room, Roger presented Esther with a bouquet
and veil. Billy joined them and was surprised to find out that a wedding was
about to take place in the room. Roger asked Billy to be his best man. "I
guess," a bemused Billy shrugged. Chloe watched, frustrated, as Roger and
Esther kissed, but didn't want to spoil the wedding. Later, Roger and
Esther's wedding began. Esther told him how happy she was to be marrying
him.... Cane and Michael met up in Crimson Lights. Cane explained that he
wanted to divorce Chloe — and share custody of Cordelia.
Tuesday
At Crimson Lights, Amber and Kevin debated whether they should put a missing
persons ad for Kay in a newspaper. They then debated over which color to use
on the fliers they made asking to find Kay. Daniel wasn't as into the search
as they were. After, Victoria and Nikki stopped by and Amber told them that
she's searching for Katherine. Nikki actually sounded impressed by Amber's
determination. Nikki promised not to stop Amber, but didn't want to actually
help with the search.... Jana got bad news regarding Daniel's artwork. He
was disappointed that the artist she pitched his work to didn't like it — and had compared it to graffiti art. Ouch. Kevin and Jana were encouraging
to their friend. Amber suggested that he sell his sketches, but he didn't
like the idea. Jana urged him to paint with his heart. Later, Amber and
Kevin had "Find Kay" T-shirts made up and proudly wore them.
Nikki was shocked when Victoria informed her that Colleen told Victor she
wanted Brad's seat on the board. Colleen arrived at the coffeehouse just
then and Nikki asked her about it. Colleen admitted that she was scared to
death to be taking on Victor — but was determined to make Brad proud. Nikki
and Victoria thought there were other ways to do this, but Colleen still
thought she was doing the right thing. The ladies warned her that Victor
would probably never give Colleen the validation she seemed to be seeking.
Nikki noted that Colleen reminded her of Victoria with the way she went
after things. Nikki thought having Colleen on the board might be a good
thing and suggested that Victoria support her former stepdaughter.
In the hotel room, Clint gleefully told "Marge" that she wasn't mentioned at
all in the newspaper.... Jill was horrified when she learned that Esther and
Roger wed. She then informed Esther that he's a bigamist and urged her to
put an end to it. Esther couldn't believe that Jill had hired an
investigator to check out Roger; she didn't want to believe he was a scam
artist and looked forward to her honeymoon. She accused Jill of being
jealous, but Jill insisted that she was just concerned about Esther. Esther
angrily called Jill "lonely and bitter".... Roger boasted to Clint, Annie
and Kay about how he'd swept Esther off of her feet. At the mention of
Esther's name, Kay recalled Esther asking her to see a specialist for her
memory problems. "Dear, dear friend," Kay said aloud to Roger. "Esther
Valentine is a wonderful woman and you are a revolting piece of scum who
tricked her into marrying you." She then reamed out Roger and Clint for
taking advantage for Esther. "You're tiny men — you can't shut me up!" she
declared. Clint still refused to believe that "Marge" was Kay and warned his
prisoner that he'd soon have no use for her. He ordered Annie to watch Kay.
After he left, Kay tried to warm up to Annie by noting that everyone kept
ordering Annie around. Annie relented and gave Kay a glass of water. She
then revealed that she'd been married to Roger.
Paul called Michael and gave him some news about Gloria's trial. Meanwhile,
in jail, Gloria dreaded going to court and facing Andrew Gibson, the husband
of the woman, Emma, who'd died after using the doctored moisturizer.
Jeffrey then arrived and told Glo that this was good-bye. "What do you mean
good-bye?" she asked. "It's over, Gloria," Jeff said and added that he'd
contacted a lawyer to handle the divorce papers. He accused Gloria of
screwing him over since she sold her Jabot stock to someone else. "The
game's over," he stated. Gloria replied that she never wants to see him
again. After, Gloria had a nightmare in which all of her inmates ganged up
on her for giving them bad advice. When she awakened, Michael was there with
news about her case. Gloria didn't want to hear it.... Jeffrey stopped by
the Chancellor Estate to see Jill. Jill didn't understand why he was there,
but he insisted on having a drink with her. She suspected he was after
something. They then began kissing passionately and went upstairs.... A
tearful Gloria gave Michael a heartfelt speech about how she takes full
responsibility for doctoring the cream. "I'm no better than your father,"
she cried. "I wanted respect and I took a life." When she was finished,
Michael informed her that Emma had died from a food allergy. An overjoyed
Gloria couldn't believe it. "Say it again," she kept repeating. "Gloria, you
didn't kill anybody," Michael stated.
Wednesday
Victor and Ashley discussed him offering her Brad's board seat. Victor
blamed Jack for prompting Colleen to ask for the position.
Heather visited Adam in jail. He informed her that he has a rash that seems
to be getting worse and he wants to see a dermatologist outside of the
prison. He then asked if she still cared about him. Heather noted that she
really did love him at one point and agreed to see what she could do.
At the hospital, the doctor informed Chloe and Esther that Chloe was doing
well and could go home soon. Chloe wasn't sure where she was going to live;
she then informed Esther that Cane isn't Cordelia's father. Still, Chloe
didn't give Esther the real father's name. Meanwhile, Jill supported Cane's
decision to divorce Chloe. Jill promised that Delia would be taken of; Cane
revealed that he was suing for custody. Jill noted that he's still the
baby's uncle, but Cane wanted to be her father.... Esther invited Chloe to
move in with her, but Chloe didn't think Jill would be pleased. Later, Cane
stopped by Chloe's room and stated that he was having his lawyer contact
her. Chloe apologized for hurting him and said that she thought Cane would
be the perfect father.
At the Abbott mansion, Billy told Jack that he was scared about dealing with
the baby situation. Jack reminded Billy that he's the father and needs to
take control. He promised to support Billy if Billy sued for custody or
wanted to move in with the baby. Billy didn't think he could be as good a
father as John was. "No one is born a parent; it's all on-the-job training,"
Jack said. Soon, Sharon stopped by so she could get documents she needed for
a certain task. She and Billy shared an awkward hello. When Jack stepped
away, she and Billy agreed to keep quiet about their night together. Billy
then bolted from the scene. After, Jack asked Sharon how she was feeling and
reminded her that he's always there for her. Sharon replied that she's doing
better and has been turning to her mother for comfort. Jack apologized for
the mistakes he made in their marriage and promised to help her deal with
this difficult time. Sharon apologized for the mistakes she's made and for
being so hard on him. Jack implored her to stop the divorce proceedings. "I
don't deserve you, Jack," Sharon said and suddenly left. Jack watched her
depart, confused.
At Crimson Lights, Noah and Eden enjoyed spending time together — especially
since it was no longer forbidden by their parents. They agreed to go on an
actual date. Later, Victor spied them together and Noah introduced Eden to
him. She was surprised when Victor invited her to join them ... and was
pleasant toward her. Vic even invited Eden to come out to the ranch. After,
Heather ran into him and told Victor that Adam wasn't doing well in prison.
Victor thought Adam deserved to learn a hard lesson. Later, the guard told
Adam that he was going to see a dermatologist about the rash. Heather told
off Victor for the way he was treating Adam. "Tough love is one thing, but
you're being just plain cruel," she stated. Victor reminded her that his son
accused him of murder and that Adam used Heather.
Billy returned to the hospital and saw Cane and Chloe talking in her room.
He then left. Meanwhile, Chloe and Cane admitted that they didn't love each
other. Chloe repeated that she married Cane for the baby's sake. After Cane
left, Esther concluded that Billy was the father — and the guy who Chloe is
in love with. Chloe explained that it was just supposed to be a hook-up and
she ended up having deeper feelings for him. Esther was very understanding.
Jill then arrived and reamed out Chloe for duping Cane. "I knew you were the
worst kind of trash," Jill sneered. A furious Esther threatened to throw
Jill out.... Billy met with Rafe at Crimson Lights to get legal advice about
his daughter. Rafe wanted to get a DNA test to prove Billy is the pop. Bily
admitted that he didn't know what he was going to do when they got proof
that he's the dad; Rafe noted that he has to be ready to be legally
responsible for Delia.... Chloe was released from the hospital and came home
with Esther. Jill was less than welcoming, but offered to let Chloe stay in
her room so Esther and Roger could have their privacy. Jill suggested that
they put their own issues aside and focus on what's best for Cordelia. She
then showed Chloe how to hold the baby.... Cane was surprised when he
learned Chloe and Cordelia had been released.... Billy stopped by the
Chancellor Estate to give the baby a gift. Cane followed him in.
Colleen informed Jack that she's moving into Brad's house. "My little niece
is a grown-up now," Jack praised. He was pleased with how she's squared off
with "Old Moneybags." Ashley then stopped by the Abbott mansion and wanted
to discuss Colleen. Ashley asked how Colleen knew she was entitled to take
over Brad's vacancy and suspected that Jack was behind it. Jack and Colleen
insisted that she knew what she was doing. Ashley thought it was too much
for Colleen to handle; Coll angrily replied that she wanted to make Brad
proud. Ashley warned her not to take on Victor. Colleen refused to be
intimidated and vowed to claim what's rightfully hers. Ashley feared that
Colleen would become a victim in the Newman/Abbott feud. "You're behind
this," Ashley said to Jack after Colleen left. She accused Jack of using
Colleen as his pawn. "You're hurting Abby and Colleen — and you're hurting
me," she said and then stormed out.
Sharon went shopping at the bookstore and ignored a call from Jack. While
there, she stashed some books in her bag, After, she ran into Eden and Noah.
She then received a call that Doris was in the hospital. Sharon and Noah
dashed out, leaving the bag behind. Eden ran out to give Noah the books —
and the alarm went off.
Thursday
At the prison, Gloria kept calling Michael before her hearing.... Eden was
arrested for stealing books at the bookstore. The teen denied doing it, but
Michael didn't believe her. Eden explained that it was Noah's bag and when
she ran outside to give it to him, the alarm went off. Lauren and Michael
went into the store to talk to the manager. Lauren suggested Michael deal
with Gloria while she dealt with Eden. Meanwhile at Crimson Lights, Noah
asked Phyllis how she and Nick were doing. Phyllis replied that she and Nick
were going through "stuff." Noah then got call from Eden, informing him that
some of the books in his bag hadn't been paid for.
Jack informed Nick that Sharon is in a "bad place" and opined that Nick is
the real problem. Jack reamed out Nick for the way he was treating her.
"Sharon is reeling right now so stay away from her!" Jack yelled. He accused
Nick of messing with Sharon and Phyllis's heads. "You be careful, Nick, or
you're going to push both these women over the edge," he warned. Nick shot
back that Jack was also responsible for Sharon's problems.
Sharon visited Doris at the hospital. Her mom immediately sensed that
something was wrong. Sharon confessed that the drama in her life just
doesn't seem to stop, and she's overwhelmed. Sharon confessed that she's
been forgetting things and losing track of time. "I'll blank out and jolt
back," she explained. Doris reminded her that she had these problems after
Doris had her accident; Sharon refused to talk about it. Doris pressed on,
noting that back when Sharon blamed herself for Doris's accident, Sharon
started losing track of time. Sharon blamed herself for Noah falling through
the ice and Brad's death, but Doris insisted that none of this was her
daughter's fault. Doris urged Sharon to speak with a therapist, but Sharon
didn't want to. Sharon then found Brad's ceramic elephant in her bag, but
wasn't sure how it got in there. This frightened her mom.
At the Chancellor Estate, Billy gave Chloe a baby gift. Cane wasn't touched
and the guys exchanged words. Cane thought Billy shouldn't be in the baby's
life if he really cares about Cordelia. "Delia's my kid," Billy stated.
Esther tried to be the peace keeper, for Cordelia's sake, but Cane refused
to back down when it came to the baby. Billy stood firm, as well. Chloe took
Delia upstairs while the guys fought it out. Cane told Billy to return to
Hong Kong, while Billy taunted Cane for being a mama's boy. Cane punched
Billy, while Jill tried to keep their fight from becoming any more heated.
Cane demanded to speak with Chloe alone.
Billy went to see Jack, who helped Billy tend to his bloody nose — courtesy
of Cane. Billy filled his older brother in on his drama with Cane. Jack was
impressed that Billy took the high road. Billy reported that Cane signed
Delia's birth certificate — but added that he's now ready to be the dad.
Jack promised to support Billy in his fight.... Cane told Chloe that he's
going to do whatever he can to win custody of Cordelia because he doesn't
believe Chloe or Billy is fit to be a parent. "If you try to keep her from
me, I swear to you, I'll cut you out of her life," Cane growled. Chloe
argued that Cane has never been a parent so he's not exactly an expert. Cane
threatened to prove that Chloe is insane.
Phyllis and Noah met up with Eden and Lauren at the bookstore. Noah pleaded
with Phyllis not to tell Nick about it. While Michael was at court, Lauren
and Phyllis met with the manager, but the man — who hated that Lauren's
husband is a lawyer — wasn't very reasonable. He insisted that Eden was a
thief and wanted to make an example of her. Phyllis informed Nick; Nick then
called Sharon. They headed to the bookstore, where Eden continued to deny
that she stole the books. Noah and Phyllis stood by Eden; Sharon, however,
called Eden a liar and a thief and demanded that Phyllis stay out of it.
Lauren continued to argue with the manager, but he stood firm in taking the
case to court. Sharon became nearly hysterical as continued to berate Eden
and said that she didn't want Noah seeing her. Nick agreed to talk with
Noah. He then asked how Sharon was feeling, but she begged him to leave her
alone. "Stay away from me. There is no more you and me!" she cried and
stormed out. Nick watched, concerned.
At Gloria's hearing, Heather began her statement about Gloria tampering with
the Jabot cream. Michael interrupted and stated that Gloria couldn't be
linked to Emma Gibson's death. The judge lectured Glo about being
irresponsible for putting a cleaning solvent into the moisturizer. Gloria
tried to interrupt him, but the judge demanded that she sit down and listen
to what he had to say. The judge stated that he wished he could lock up
Gloria for good, but since there wasn't enough evidence to condemn her, he
didn't have a case. Heather reluctantly agreed with him. The judge then
vacated all charges against Gloria. Gloria thanked Michael for helping her
and wanted to call Jeffrey. Michael was horrified, but Glo replied that Jeff
is the perfect man for her. Later, Gloria left a message for Jeff, saying
she's been lonely without him. She pleaded with him to call her back.
Michael returned to the bookstore and Lauren told him that the manager
wanted to press charges. Michael assured Eden that she wouldn't go to jail.
Eden was more upset about Nick and Sharon's decision to keep Noah from her.
Meanwhile, Noah refused to obey his parents' demands. Phyllis suspected that
something else other than Noah was upsetting Sharon.... Sharon quietly
entered Brad's house and admired a photo of Brad, Abby and Colleen. She then
took out the elephant and began to cry. As she bolted out of the house, she
dropped the figurine and it broke. Outside, she broke down in sobs.
Friday
At the Chancellor Estate, Jill warned Esther that Roger might have another
Mrs. Wilkes on the side, but Esther didn't want to hear it. Flowers then
arrived for Jill from Jeffrey. She went to see him to tell him off ... and
they ended up kissing again.... Chloe confessed to Esther that she didn't
want Cordelia being involved in the mess with Billy and Cane, but she didn't
know what to do about it.... Roger returned home and informed Esther that he
was looking at new houses. Esther was upset that he hadn't asked her about
it first. He suggested she sell her half of the house to Jill, but she
refused, noting that the estate was a gift from Katherine. She then asked if
they could postpone their honeymoon, which upset Roger. When he angrily left
to run "errands," Chloe suggested that Esther go after him and make things
right. Esther agreed.
Meanwhile, Cane ran into Neil at the coffeehouse and asked if they could talk for a minute.
An unfriendly Neil literally held up his watch so he could time it. Neil was understanding once Cane filled him in on the baby drama, but Neil noted that a lot of damage has been done. Cane replied that he still loves Lily and is divorcing Chloe. Neil was surprised when Cane
added that he's fighting for custody of Delia and warned that things would
get ugly. He implored Cane to not involve Lily in this.... Lily met up with
Billy at the Abbott mansion. Billy told her that he's not going to let Cane
use him as a punching bag. Lily found it hard to believe that he suddenly
wanted to step up as Delia's father. Billy wondered if Lily really wanted
Cane involved in Delia's life. He then asked if she could tell Cane to back
off. "Or else I'll be forced to make him," Billy warned.
Neil filled in Karen on the Cordelia situation. It made Karen think about
Ana and Tyra. Neil wondered why Tyra suddenly felt the need to flee town
with the little girl and asked if Karen had mentioned the adoption. Karen
admitted to it, which upset Neil. Karen concluded that something — or
someone — was holding him back. She accused him of trying to protect Tyra
and revealed that she saw Neil kissing her. "Do you want to be with me or
not?" Karen asked. "Of course," Neil stuttered. "Then get it together or
this marriage is over," she snapped and stormed away.
Cane met up with Lily at the bookstore and informed her that he's divorcing
Chloe and fighting for custody of the baby. He then asked if Lily would be
willing to raise Cordelia with him — and said he wants to marry her. He
didn't want to give her a ring while he was still married to Chloe so he
presented Lily with a necklace instead. She was speechless.... Billy went to
see Chloe and said he wanted to spend time with both Chloe and their
daughter. They sat down on the couch together and bonded as a family. Chloe
apologized for keeping the truth about Delia's paternity from him; Billy was
understanding and asked Chloe to marry him.
Gloria celebrated her freedom with Lauren and Michael and again called
Jeffrey. She was confident that she and Jeff would reunite, but Michael
thought this was a good opportunity for her to put the cream debacle, jail
and Bardwell behind her. Gloria explained that her rocky relationship with
Jeff "works" for them. They then told her about Eden getting arrested for
shoplifting. Glo praised Michael for helping Eden out and called him a
superhero. Later, Lauren tried to cheer Eden up by making a special dinner. Eden was grateful that they believed in her.
Gloria, donning a sexy black dress and newly-dyed hair, went to Jeff's room
at the GCAC. She found him wearing nothing but a robe. Shortly after, Jill
emerged; the ladies were shocked to see each other there and got into a
catfight over Jeff. He enjoyed the show, which angered Glo. "You ain't worth
it," she stated and left. Jill was surprised that he wasn't going to go
after Gloria. "This is so beneath me," Jill sighed, "but God knows, I do
love sticking it to Gloria. What the hell?" she shrugged, joining Jeff....
Gloria returned home and asked Michael and Lauren if she could move in with
them.
In the hotel, Katherine was horrified when Annie informed her that Roger's
made a career of marrying wealthy women to get a hold of their money. Kay
concluded that Annie's still in love with him. This got Annie — and Ahote,
her knife — angry. "He doesn't appreciate you," Kay said. "That weasel!"
Annie shouted, then realized that Kay was trying to get her to help Kay
escape. Kay said that she just wanted Annie to realize that Annie didn't
need Roger — and is a better person than him or Clint. This set Annie off
and she finally set Kay free. She planned to help Kay escape, but Roger
arrived and caught them. Esther then showed up after having followed Roger
and was stunned to see Kay. Katherine immediately recognized Esther and they
shared a tearful reunion. Esther then confronted Roger about holding Kay
hostage. Clint returned and was furious to see Kay untied. "Now everybody's
gonna have to suffer," he warned.
