Monday
At the G.C.A.C., Daniel showed up at Amber and Deacon's wedding with the key to Tom's safeyty deposit box, believing that the real Terroni was in there. Meanwhile, Jana insisted to Kevin that Ryder was playing them. Kevin still wanted to help his brother.... Amber was upset with Daniel for interfering in her plan to save him. Murphy and Katherine hoped that whatever Daniel was up to worked. Meanwhile, Daniel told Deacon that he's now in charge. Deacon gave him 72 hours to get him the real Terroni. Daniel then grabbed Amber and carried her out of the room.
At Cane's, an ill Lily sat and read and was surprised when her eyebrows began falling out. Cane cheered her up when he gave her a box from Neil; it contained a few of Lily's childhood dolls, as well as an embarrassing old video. Lily later admitted that she's scared she's not going to make it.
J.T. made some calls to see if he could track down Colleen. Traci was, of course, panicked and begged him to tell her what was really going on with her daughter. She freaked out when J.T. revealed that Patty was holding Colleen hostage.
At the camp, Patty cared for Kitty Kitty, while a bound Colleen begged for food. Patty refused. When they heard a couple of park rangers coming, Colleen tried to scream, but Patty clamped her hand over Colleen's mouth.
Kevin returned to the jail and asked Ryder about his past. As Ryder nervously explained that he'd had odd jobs, Kevin concluded that Jana was right and Ryder had been playing him.... Daniel promised Amber that he's not walking away and she's not going to have to marry Deacon.... Kay thanked Murphy for being her hero and helping her out when she needed it most.... Kevin returned to Crimson Lights and told Jana that she was right about
Ryder, and that while Ryder is his brother, he's not family.... Ryder warned Deacon that Kevin and Daniel are smarter than they gave them credit for. Deacon blanched when Ryder mentioned that his mother had visited him in prison.
At the club, Victoria told Chance that Nikki has been missing for a while, and no one knows where she is. Chance said he couldn't file a report if she left on her own. J.T. then arrived and filled him in on Colleen. Victoria was annoyed when Chance left to deal with Patty instead of helping her with Nikki. She then accused J.T. of always making everything about Colleen. He couldn't believe that she'd think that when Colleen was in danger, and assured her that his ex isn't a threat to their marriage. Victoria then tearfully confessed that she'd slept with Deacon. A devastated J.T. couldn't talk about it, though, because he had to find Colleen.
Billy blamed himself for suggesting Colleen go to the Abbott cabin. Mac tried to keep his spirits up. Chance arrived at the Abbott manse and assured Traci that they were doing everything to find her daughter. She became alarmed when he noted that Patty was armed.... Billy and Mac arrived at Lily and Cane's and told them about Colleen.... Traci handed Chance a recent photo of Colleen and pleaded with him to bring her home.... In the woods, Patty tied Colleen to a tree. When Patty fed her kitty, Colleen pleaded for some of the food. A fed-up Patty stuck Colleen's scarf in her mouth, like a gag. Colleen then found a piece of jagged glass on the ground.
Tuesday
Daniel and Amber went home to his apartment and made love. They were eager to get Deacon out of their lives so things could get back to normal. Amber worried what would happen if Daniel didn't find the Terroni, but he was confident that he would. Later, he sent her out of the apartment to do some errands for him. When she returned, Daniel asked her if she would marry him; to do so, he painted every word on a different piece of paper and lined them up. Awww. He then got down on his knees and proposed again. She happily accepted.
In their apartment, Gloria freaked out when the power went out. "Things can't get any worse," Jeffrey told her. "They already have," said Victor, entering their home. Jeff demanded his money; Victor demanded Patty and said she wasn't at the cabin as they'd promised. Victor noted that Jack had been there and concluded that they'd received two payoffs. Glo argued that they did their part and deserved their cash. Jeff threatened to tell Ashley about Victor's involvement with Patty. Gloria promised not to say anything to her, but hoped they could still do business in the future. Jeff was furious with Gloria for groveling, but she noted that they'd lost. Jill soon came by and wanted her cut of the money. They informed her that she'd have to wait. Jillwas shocked to learn that Mary Jane is Patty, while Jeff was surprised to hear that Jill is working at a nail salon. Later, Gloria asked Jill for a job at the salon. Jill gave her a position as a floor sweeper, which Gloria accepted without complaining.
Nick brought a pregnant Sharon her favorite foods at the mental hospital. He then told her about Patty's latest antics. Sharon wondered if she'd been the one to frame her for taking Victor's wallet, and noted that Patty would've had to have been well-connected to pull off such a scam. Nick wondered if Victor was responsible, but Sharon didn't believe that Victor would've allowed her to hurt Summer. Still, Sharon encouraged Nick to confront his father.
Ashley found a cell phone in the place where she thought she hit Sabrina. When Ashley stepped away, Adam took out an letter addressed to the Newmans that he'd been hiding — from Nikki! Ashley charged the phone and learnedthat it was Nikki's; she concluded that she hit her. Ash wanted to tell Victor about it, but Adam urged her not to do it. Still, Ashley was determined to do so.
In the woods, Colleen quietly tried to cut the ropes with the piece of glass she'd found. She told Patty that they can't stay there forever, then asked why Patty changed her face. Patty replied that she did everything for Jack. Colleen noted that she must've loved Jack. Patty asked what Colleen knows about love. "More than you think," Colleen answered. They then bonded as they compared stories of getting together with Jack and J.T. Patty asked if she would tell Jack that she's not a horrible person. Colleen promised to talk to him and noted that Patty could go back to her life as Mary Jane — because a strong, confident woman was the type of person who Jack respected. Colleen asked to be untied; Patty accused her of trying to trick her and held her gun in Colleen's face. Patty was then bitten by a spider and vowed to make Colleen pay for lying to her.
J.T. and Paul continued to search for Colleen. Victoria came by the Abbott mansion to see what she could do to help. J.T., thinking of how she cheated on him, could barely look at her. He told her that if she really wanted to help, she should ask Victor where Colleen is..... Jack informed Abby that Patty kidnapped Colleen. Abby blamed Jack for her sister being taken.... Paul showed Victoria an old photo of Patty and hated the fact that the cops were hunting her down. He believed that he could get through to Patty if he had the chance. She asked him if he thought Victor was behind Patty coming to town; Paul replied that he was certain that Victor was involved. Victoria planned to speak with her father. Later, Colleen's car was found.
Abby informed Victor that Patty was holding Colleen hostage. Victor promised that they'd find her sister.... Patty became ill from the spider bite. Colleen insisted that she get to a hospital. Colleen later managed to cut herself free and grabbed Patty's gun. Patty begged her not to leave her in the woods.
Wednesday
At the Abbott mansion, Traci was anxious for her husband Steve to arrive. She tried to stay positive about Colleen's safe return. Chloe came in with Delia, and Billy and Traci preoccupied themselves with her. Jack thanked Chloe for providing the much-needed distraction and for helping them all hang together. The family then received news that Colleen's car had been found, abandoned. Jack and Billy explained to Chloe that Mary Jane was really Patty, Jack's ex-wife, who had once shot him. "And you thought I was a bitch for making you sleep on the couch!" Chloe snapped at Billy. Billy left to go check on Lily. Traci broke down in tears in Jack's arms. Jack reluctantly told Traci about his belief that Victor had brought Patty to town to seek revenge against him. He promised Traci that he would make Victor pay the ultimate price for all the damage he had caused.
Lily attempted to leave her house to find Colleen, but didn't make it out the door. When hot flash overtook her, a concerned Cane implored her to stay home and rest. Lily explained that she was desperate to help her friend, and that she felt angry and helpless. "Everything seems so out of control!" she wailed. Cane reassured her that Colleen's toughness would help her come through the crisis. Cane turned her attention to the mementos her dad had brought over. They found a stack of postcards from Colleen that she had sent to Lily during her travels, including one from her counselor days at Camp Cowabunga. Lily missed the significance of it. Billy arrived, and Lily was glad to see him. They shared with each other how much they loved Colleen, and how scared they were about her disappearance. Billy spied the box of postcards, and dug in. He took them back to the Abbott mansion to show Jack. After Billy left, Lily left a voicemail for Colleen, asking her to come over for ice cream. She asked Cane if it was possible that Colleen wasn't really missing, but that she was just ignoring everyone in an attempt to gain solitude.
In the woods, Patty was debilitated by the spider bite. Colleen bent over her in concern. Patty took advantage of the moment, and swiped the gun out of Colleen's hands and turned it on her. Colleen begged Patty to allow her to go seek medical attention, but Patty would not hear of it. Colleen felt Patty's forehead for a fever. Upon finding her burning up, she told Patty that they would both die if she didn't go for help. After hearing that Colleen's father had died in the nearby lake trying to save someone, Patty finally allowed her to go. Colleen ran off and found a docked canoe and paddled away as fast as she could.
At the ranch, Adam tried again to convince Ashley to remain mum about mowing down Nikki with her car. Victor entered just as their conversation got heated. He asked Adam to leave, so that he and Ashley could talk. Ashley recounted to Victor the events of the evening in which she believed she had hit Nikki. She explained that she had first thought she had hit Sabrina, but that after putting the clues together, she was convinced that she had hit, and possibly killed, Nikki. "I know this could cost me my marriage, but I just had to tell you the truth," she wept. Victor swept her into an embrace and promised to get her the help she needed. Ashley went ballistic when she realized that Victor thought she was insane. She buried herself in her bed, and Victor left. He encountered Adam in the hallway and they came to the conclusion that Ashley now needed professional help. Victor instructed Adam to have Dr. Taylor come over right away. Adam entered Ashley's room and sat on her bed. He comforted her after he expressed her sadness that Victor hadn't loved her enough to believe in her. "You don't deserve this," he whispered.
Victoria and Nick both arrived at the ranch to confront Victor about his connection to Patty. Victoria relayed to Nick what she knew about Patty ... that she had once been sweet and innocent, until she snapped. The realization that Victor might have hired her to "finish the job" on Jack washed over them. Victoria refused to believe, though, that Victor intended for his own family to get hurt. Victor came downstairs and encountered his two angry children. They pointedly asked him if he was responsible for bringing Patty to town to exact revenge on Jack. Victor sidestepped, saying that he was doing everything he could to find Patty and bring her to justice. "Is that because you feel guilty, Dad?" Nick pushed. "Stop dancing around the question and answer it," he demanded. "You just couldn't let Jack win, so everyone else had to lose ... is that right, Dad?" Victoria asked. Victor denied being a murderer, either directly or indirectly. He admitted that he had made some mistakes, but that he couldn't undo them. Nick and Victoria took that to mean that Victor was responsible for bringing Patty to town. The siblings left the ranch, devastated. Victor opened the door to find an enraged Jack on the other side.
Thursday
Colleen drifted underwater and had an out of body experience as Lily talked to her. Lily told her she wasn't ready to die and urged her to fight. Colleen opened her eyes. Kevin appeared to her and gave her a pep talk. He reminded her that she had forgiven him and he was a well human being because of her. "There is nothing that you can't make happen," he said. JT appeared and begged Colleen to come back to him. Colleen reached out to him. Billy showed up, and then Abby. "Nobody remembers Daddy (that would be Brad) the way we do," Abby told her big sister. She urged her to come home. Victor, Ashley and Jack appeared. Victor said that Colleen wasn't too proud of some of the things she had done. Then John Abbott showed up and explained it was about "moving on."
Patty sat under a tree with Kitty in a basket. Realizing Colleen wasn't getting help for her, she tried to walk, but fell. She lay on the ground, a rosary in her hand, looked to the skies and asked for help.
JT and Paul entered the lodge. Paul was determined to find Patty and Colleen. JT pointed out that Colleen was clever. "It's her secret weapon," JT explained. Paul reviewed a map of the area. Billy called and made it clear that he was angry with Paul for taking Patty to a church. "You had her. It never should have come to this," he told Paul angrily. Paul admitted that Billy had a right to be angry.
A furious Jack showed up at Victor's door. Victor said that he had offered his resources to help find Patty and Colleen. Jack informed Victor that Patty had a gun. "It's all because of you," Jack spat, accusing Victor of bringing Patty to town to get rid of him (Jack). Victor told Jack not to wake up Ashley. "If I wanted you gone, you'd be gone," Victor said menacingly, dodging Jack's accusations. Victor suggested they compare their crimes and see who comes out on top. Jack said that Victor would win that competition. Victor reminded Jack that Ashley chose to be with him. He'd put Jack through the wall if Ashley and Abby weren't in the house. "I want my niece back," Jack said as held the photo of Colleen at camp. The photo made Jack realize where Colleen was, and he raced out of Victor's house.
At the coffee house, Jana gave Kevin a kiss. They were stunned to hear the news about Colleen's abduction. "What is wrong with this Patty person?" Kevin asked his wife. They remembered the mean things they had done to Colleen in the past. Kevin assured her that Colleen would survive this, and he and Jana prayed for her safety.
Abby went to visit her mom in her room, but didn't want to tell Ashley why she was so upset. She eventually spilled about the Colleen situation. Ashley remembered what Patty used to be like. Abby was reminded of the time that her daddy was missing, and that hadn't ended well.
Cane and Lily drank orange juice and assured each other that they would be finding Colleen soon. Recalling that JT was Colleen's first love, Lily remembered what it was like when they were in high school together. "I need new pictures with her," Lily said.
Steve arrived at the Abbott house and Traci fell into his arms. Ashley called the house and was upset that she hadn't been kept in the loop about Colleen. Then at the same time, everyone who had visited Colleen in her mind experienced the sensation that something was very wrong.
Traci and Steve showed up in Colleen's dream. Traci assured her of their love. Seeing all her friends and family around her, Colleen shut her eyes and looked up to the light. She saw her father Brad underwater and he took her hand. They smiled at each other.
Friday
Lily was shocked when a soaking wet Colleen showed up, explaining how she fell into the lake. Lily was relieved to see her best friend and they hugged. Colleen assured Lily she wasn't going to die and will some day hold her own baby in her arms. When Lily's back was turned, Colleen disappeared and Lily woke up from her dream. She broke into sobs as she recounted her dream to Cane and felt that something bad had happened to Colleen. Lily was stunned to find a piece of Colleen's scarf on the floor.
Abby asked her mom why Victor didn't like Colleen but Ashley could only chalk it up to his rivalry with Jack. Ash was surprised to learn that Victor had already left the house; the ladies decided to go over to the Abbott mansion to be with Traci.
While searching the woods for Colleen, Jack came across a shred of her scarf near the lake shore and called Paul and J.T. with an update. The guys wanted to meet up with Jack but he suggested they stay put in case he was on a wild goose chase. Jack then boarded a row boat and paddled across the lake.
He miraculously located Colleen and pulled her out of the water, then rushed her to the shore. There, he was about to call for help when Patty showed up with a gun and ordered him not to call anyone. Worried about his niece, Jack called Paul and tossed the cell phone to Patty who promptly threw it into the lake.
Paul told J.T. that Jack called and he heard Patty's voice before the line went dead. They decided to head up to the summer camp.
Traci ordered Billy not to say anything about Victor's connection with Patty to Ashley and Abby. Billy didn't want to keep quiet but Traci didn't want her sister and niece needlessly upset. Ashley and Abby arrived and Billy had to force himself not to say anything. Paul called to report that he and J.T. were en route to the summer camp and also shared that he had encountered Victor's car, but Newman was nowhere in sight. After Paul hung up, Billy finally blabbed to Ashley how Victor brought Patty to Genoa City just to finish off Jack. Ashley refused to believe it until Traci backed up Billy. Ashley became hysterical and bolted from the house. She returned to the ranch, then smashed a photo of her and Victor.
As her trembling hands held the gun, Patty poured out her pain to Jack. He begged for her forgiveness. She was about to pull the trigger when Victor appeared and told her to put down the gun. Jack was aghast when Victor admitted he’d created Mary Jane and could help Patty disappear again. Her gun started swaying between Jack and Victor.
Traci, Billy and Steve called Paul, who was searching for Patty and Jack. Everyone was shocked when gunshots rang out in the distance.
