Spencer discovered Sharon had escaped and the courthouse went on lockdown. Adam told the press that there's no way his fiancée would resort to such desperate behavior. Spencer accused Adam of helping Sharon to escape. Victor arrived and said he will get Sharon to return if she's not unduly punished for fleeing. Victor claimed he knew several places where Sharon may hide out. Adam made a fake plea on live TV for Sharon to come back right away.
Without mentioning his acquisition of Adam's shares, Tucker told Victoria that buying up Newman stock when it goes public will force Victor to turn over Beauty of Nature. Kay overheard and after Tucker left, she informed Victoria that Victor had reinstated Adam's trust fund. Victoria was disgusted since she, Abby and Nick had to fight for their money but Victor simply handed over Adam's. Victoria hoped Adam will sell out to Kay but La Chancellor revealed that Tucker was already the lucky buyer. Victoria was very suspicious of Tucker for not sharing that with her. Kay added that Tucker wanted Adam to head up Beauty of Nature and advised Victoria to be wary of Mr. McCall.
After hearing about Sharon's escape, Phyllis told a stunned Nick. They checked out Sharon's house and Phyllis found that her clothes had been packed in a hurry. Adam showed up and Nick accused him of helping Sharon to escape. Adam denied it. The trio decided to split up to search and once Adam left for the airport, Nick and Phyllis decided to tail him.
Sharon drove a getaway car, in which she found an envelope with a new driver's license bearing her pic (in dark hair) but with another name. She stopped at a gas station restroom and used hair dye to change to brunette. After, Sharon went to her mother's apartment. Doris blasted her daughter and wanted to call the police but Sharon ordered her not to. She asked Doris to look in on Faith but Mama made her disappointment very clear, so Sharon slipped out.
Victoria demanded to know from Tucker what he's up to with Adam. Tucker assured it was all part of his plan to get Beauty of Nature. After, Victoria complained to her hubby about Tucker so Billy suggested she start her own company. Meanwhile, Kay met with Victor and they gleefully acknowledged their plan to destroy Victoria and Tucker's professional relationship by sowing the seeds of mistrust. Victor then fretted about Sharon.
At the airport, an undercover officer watched as Adam bought a ticket to St. Martin. Adam boarded his flight while the cop tipped off his superiors to alert the authorities in St. Martin. Nick and Phyllis arrived and purchased tickets on the same flight.

In jail, a rumpled Chloe and Gloria faced Jana, who was intent on pressing charges against them. Jana found out that she can't do so because she isn't the legal owner of her apartment. Right on cue, Billy barged in and wanted to know what Chloe has done. She insisted that Jana is a psycho and Gloria explained they were simply sleuthing to prove it.
Kevin asked Heather to spring Gloria and Heather agreed. Kev then added that Chloe also needed legal expertise. Reluctantly, Heather accompanied Kevin to the jail, where Jana was pushing Billy to press charges. Chloe didn't want Heather's help and was certain that Billy wouldn't prosecute. He surprised her by announcing, "Lock her up" and stormed out. Kevin advised Chloe to accept Heather's help and Chloe reluctantly agreed. Heather said she would try to get a judge to agree to bail.
Meanwhile, Neil and Chloe tried to calm down a nervous Malcolm. The groom started gushing about his woman and was thrilled that Sofia and Neil are finally getting along. Malcolm asked Neil to deliver a bouquet of flowers to Sofia and Neil agreed.
At the Ashby house, Lily helped Sofia to get ready. She again offered not to have her wedding at the same church where Cane died but Lily insisted that the nups take place as planned. Lily suggested that Neil walk Sofia down the aisle but she nervously said that Tucker would be performing that duty. While Lily was in the other room, Sofia answered a knock at the door and found Neil on the doorstep. He presented her with Malcolm's flowers but as things got tense between them, Lily returned. Neil made a hasty exit.
Billy let himself into Jana's apartment and was surprised to find Kevin already there. Billy was about to call the cops when Kevin showed him a receipt that proved Jana had purchased the pregnancy pad just two weeks ago, which means it wasn't for a Halloween costume like she claimed. Jana suddenly arrived and found the guys in her living room.
Neil encountered Leslie and asked her to be his date for the wedding. She accepted and he headed back to pick up Malcolm.... Heather found out that court is closed for the day due to budget cuts, so Chloe and Gloria had to spend another night in jail.... Lily arrived at the church and started to freak when she gazed at the steps where Cane had died. Daniel appeared and escorted Lily into the church.

Olivia, Nate, Daniel, Jill, Roxanne, Leslie, Tucker, Ashley, Jill and Colin joined Neil, Devon and Marcus at the church. The ceremony began and after Lily strode down the aisle, Sofia followed with Tucker as her escort. As the vows were exchanged, Neil wistfully gazed at the bride. After placing the rings, the couple sealed the deal with a kiss. "She's mine now, y'all!" Mal happily announced to the guests. After, Sofia seemed a little put off when Neil introduced Leslie as his date. Lily and Jill shared a poignant moment on the steps where Cane died. Colin had to hide his own despair.
Kevin and Billy asked Jana about the receipt for the pregnancy pad. Jana objected that she hasn't done anything wrong and cried about being persecuted. Billy pointed out the she's dodging the question and she finally explained that she's been trying to find Daisy's baby. Jana said that she posed as a pregnant woman and met a baby broker who may have sold Daisy's baby. Kevin got excited but Billy became alarmed when Jana said the baby broker's name is Primrose. Billy covered his growing fear and excused himself. Kevin stayed behind and got upset that his niece may be with "freaks."
In St. Martin, Nick and Phyllis checked in to the hotel room next to where Adam, who knew they were following him, was staying. Nick and Phyllis wondered if Sharon would be arriving soon to rendezvous with Adam. Phyllis wanted to sleep but was too hot in her outfit, since she didn't have any extra clothes. Nick suggested she take her clothes off and she stripped, then playfully strutted in her undies. When Nick wanted to turn in, he took off his shirt and settled in a nearby chair.
While driving through the night, Sharon panicked when she was pulled over by a state trooper. He asked for ID and Sharon provide the fake driver's license. The trooper said Sharon's car had a broken taillight and observed that she was acting a little edgy. She explained she's hopped up on caffeine from drinking coffee to stay awake. The trooper advised her to check in to a motel and let her go.
At the wedding reception at Gloworm, Malcolm toasted to his new wife for sticking by his side when he was acting "like a jackass." Sofia suddenly got ill and ran to the ladies room. Lily chalked it up to nerves. Sofia returned and tossed her bouquet which was caught by Leslie. When Sofia didn't feel any better, Mal announced they were leaving and the newlyweds departed.
Bill called Primrose and left a message that no one can connect them..... In their hotel suite, an ailing Sofia told Malcolm that she needed to lie down. After Malcolm left the room to get her ice, Sofia called the front desk and asked if the gift shop sold home pregnancy tests.... An emotional Sharon called Adam and sobbed that she wasn't sure if she could go through with their plan. Adam urged her to hang in there because they'll be together soon.... After returning home, Lily saw Cane at her patio door. When she looked away and back, he was gone. She retired to bed and the camera closed in on two muddy footprints outside the door.

Jack visited Nikki, who was at Nick's house watching Faith. Noah came downstairs, ready to leave for New York, and his grandma and Jack tried to convince him to stay. Noah admitted that he fed up with his mom's antics and needed to get away.
Sharon tearfully told Adam that she pulled over in New Mexico on her way to their rendezvous point in Sedona, Arizona. Adam advised her to lodge somewhere and she said she could see a place up ahead called The Shuteye Motel on Route 40. Adam assured he would meet her there soon and their call was disconnected.
Sensing his continued indifference, Diane confessed to Victor that she bonded with Nick over a few dates but she is now married to his father. She assured Victor that he has nothing to worry about and he appreciated her honesty. Diane suggested she get takeout for them and left. Victor called someone and ordered that person to follow his wife. Victor headed over to the G.C.A.C. to buy a special bottle of wine and ran into Tucker. Victor growled at Tucker for purchasing Adam's stocks. Victor warned Tucker to watch his step.
Knowing Nick and Phyllis were eavesdropping, Adam loudly pretended to make arrangements over the phone to leave the island. Diane called Nick from Gloworm at that moment and wanted to make amends for their last conversation. She then heard Phyllis's voice and Nick explained they were in the Caribbean but appreciated Diane's call. Jack called Phyllis and invited her to join him for dinner but she said she was out of town and hung up. Diane tattled to Jack that Phyllis and Nick were together. Diane was thrown when Jack asked what was going with her and Nick but she insisted there was nothing.
Sharon checked in to the motel and tearfully wrote a letter to Noah, confessing her mistakes and urged him to follow his dreams in New York. Next, Sharon wrote to Faith and said that she is better off with her daddy but Mommy will always love her. Sharon then penned to Adam that as much as she loved him, they can't be together. She almost removed her engagement ring but decided not to and headed to her car.
Nikki brought Faith to the ranch to visit Victor, who was thrilled. Diane came home and watched them being close. She entered the room and learned from Nikki that she will be staying at the tack house while Nick is out of town. After Nikki left with Faith, Diane suggested to Victor that they forgo takeout and go out for dinner instead. He agreed.
Adam hired a bellhop to take his bag down so he could meet a ferry to St. Barts. Nick and Phyllis tailed Adam, which he expected, and he boarded the ferry with the bellhop at his side. After the ferry disembarked, Nick and Phyllis approached Adam from behind but when he turned around, he turned out to be the bellhop. Adam had sneaked off the boat and was watching the ferry steam away. Nick and Phyllis found out that the next ferry back wasn't until the following morning.

At the G.C.A.C., Victor and Diane encountered Nikki. Diane asked if she was dining alone but Jack suddenly appeared and joined Nikki at her table. Victor asked where Phyllis was and Jack explained that according to Diane, Phyllis and Nick were in the Caribbean. After Victor and Diane went to their table, Jack acknowledged that he took it upon himself to make it look like they had a dinner date. Nikki asked if Jack was worried about Nick and Phyllis being alone together but he claimed not to be. She then started eyeing the booze.
At their table, Victor made an issue of Diane being in contact with Nick. She defended that their kids are friends so there will always be interaction. Diane then complained about her husband's attachment to his ex. Victor assured that Diane has nothing to worry about, but she pointed out that he has been dismissive and annoyed with her. He said he wants her, but asked why Diane married him. She explained that could never find a better man to marry her. He was touched and wanted to go home. Nearby, Nikki was distracted as she watch them leave.
In St. Barts, Nick and Phyllis could only find one hotel room and it happened to be the honeymoon suite. They were agitated over the wild-goose chase with Adam and ordered room service. Soon, they were enjoying a romantic dinner on the terrace and, after some wine, Nick confessed that the breakup of their marriage was one of the hardest things he went through. Phyllis suddenly suggested they play cards but after a few hands, they ended up in bed and had sex.
Adam arrived in New Mexico and left Sharon a voice mail that he would see her soon. He later showed up at the Shuteye Motel and knocked on her room but didn't get a response. The manager confirmed Sharon had left and let Adam in to the room. He found the letters she left behind and was stunned to read her Dear John letter to him.
Victor and Diane returned to the ranch, where they started kissing passionately. However, she fantasized about being with Nick while Victor thought about Nikki. Meanwhile, Jack and Nikki were having ginger ale at the bar when she started eyeing the booze. She excused herself for a trip to the ladies room and a woman hit on Jack. He turned her down by saying he was already in love with someone else.
Sharon pulled over to hear Adam's message but was confronted by a woman brandishing a gun. She ordered Sharon to get out of the car and demanded her jewelry. A man came out of the bushes and thought Sharon was very pretty. The woman got in Sharon's car and took off and the guy ran off into the darkness. Sharon then walked down the lonely, dark desert highway and finally ended up at a diner.
The motel manager came back to the room and informed Adam that there was an accident reported on the radio and the description of the car involved sounded like the one Sharon was driving. Meanwhile, at the diner, Sharon heard a radio bulletin that a driver's license recovered at the accident scene looked like a photo of convicted felon, Sharon Newman... just as Adam arrived at the crash site.
