Monday
Gloria feigned surprise when Jeffrey interrupted her kiss with Alistair, but
Jeff just scoffed at the display. After Jeff left, Glo turned a cold shoulder on poor over-heated Alistair and sent him on his way, without knowing he swiped the key card to her room. While Jeff nursed his bruised ego at the bar Gloria was taking a bath. Alistair stole back into the room while and passed out in her bed. Jeff came in and confessed his love to what he thought was a slumbering Gloria. When she entered the room, Jeff was peeved that Gloria was still paying games with Alistair and stormed out. Glo threw out Alistair.
Nick informed Nikki that Victor owned the mortgage on his building. Felicia
arrived and raved about Lily's photo shoot. She tried to make dinner planes
with Nikki, who was busy so Nick stepped in. Whad'ya know? Phyllis was in New York and unavailable.
Sabrina was still bummed about her fractured relationship with Victoria so
Victor cheered her up by announcing a weekend getaway to the Guggenheim.
Later, Nikki reamed Victor for his affair with their daughter's friend. "Victoria's a grown woman," huffed Victor, then Nikki moved on to him owning Nick's mortgage. Victor grew tired of Nikki's nagging and told her he didn't "give a damn" what she thought..
Victoria and J.T., tried to plan a date night but he got called away on a
security emergency. Once he was done with his little crisis, J.T. tracked
down Sabrina and scolded her for getting involved with Victor. "You can't
control your heart, your emotions, who you fall in love with," Sabrina
pointed out by J.T. was unimpressed. Sabrina was insulted when J.T.
insinuated that she was a gold digger. "Stop calling Victoria to beg for
forgiveness," ordered J.T. "You are exactly where you wanna be. You're with Victor. Now leave my wife alone."
Adam spotted Felicia and Nick together at the GCAC and stopped by for a quick visit. After he left, Felicia noted the tension between the brothers. "I don't give him much thought one way or the other," sniffed Nick who then updated Felicia on why he left Newman Enterprises. Nick had to call it a night and once he left, Adam swooped in to keep Felicia company. She gladly accepted and Adam noted that he shared a "similar business relationship" with Phyllis that Felicia had in Nick.
J.T. told Victoria about his confrontation with Sabrina.... Sabrina fretted to Victor that their relationship was hurting too many people but he
protested that, "You made me happy again. I once told you that I came from
nothing. And now, I seemingly have everything." ... Nikki was upset to see
that David got a call from his old bookie.
Tuesday
Gloria found Jeffrey at the GCAC bar with a hungover Alistair ("Small
gerbils seem to have set up their little wheel inside my head") but she
wanted to be alone to think. Jeff announced he wanted a divorce. "We both know what that means, don't we, my little kumquat?" he growled but Glo
seemed unmoved by the threat.
Sabrina lamented to Victor over Adam's insinuation that she is using Victor to further her career. He advised her to let those remarks roll off. Victor
then tried to have a conversation with his daughter but Victoria but wasn't
very receptive. "I trusted you to look after her," she grumbled. "I had no
idea, dad, that you would seduce her." Victor defended that the relationship
was "more than a fling" but Victoria was unconvinced. Later, Victor's
encounter with Nick didn't fare any better. "The more you tried to exert
control over all of us, the more you lost it," Nick jeered.
Jill decided it was time to cut Alistair loose since he couldn't provide
anymore details on Jeffery and Gloria's marriage. To buy time, Al fibbed
that Jeff "finds you far more fascinating than Gloria" but Jill didn't buy it. Alistair then recounted how Jeff once threatened to put his wife behind
bars.
Gloria told Kevin that Jeff was divorcing her which meant he would turn her into the police but she was surprisingly resigned to that. "A good long stint in the slammer is exactly what Gloria Baldwin Fisher Abbott Bardwell Bardwell needs," she noted. Michael happened by and revealed that he was getting closer to building a strong case against jack for Lauren's fall. Gloria asked her son to really decide why he's pursuing this. Michael wenthome and sensed Lauren's continued reticence for taking legal action against Jack. Michael then left a message for Abbott to call him "regarding the suit."
Gloria tried to approach a closed-off Jeffrey. As Jill and Alistair passed
by, Jeff announced that he and his wife were "parting ways." He then asked
Jill to join him for dinner and Glo countered that she and Alistair would be enjoying room service.
Sabrina was peeved when Adam made another veiled jab at her growing
success.... Jeff asked Jack to let Gloria move back in. "Let me think about
this. No!" Jack quickly answered.... While Nick and Victoria commiserated
about their dad at Crimson Lights, Felicia showed up, flirted with Nick then said goodbye with the suggestion to "keep in touch." ... Nick later warned Sabrina that his dad is ruthless and "not just in a business suit." ...
Victor informed Adam that he wanted to discuss expanding the young man's
role at Newman.
Wednesday
While Jill and Jeffrey dined, he discovered that Gloria had left the club
which means she wasn't in her room with Alistair. Jill asked if Jeff wanted
to go look for his wayward wife but he said "I'm right where I want to be."
Jill then tried to get Jeff to open up about his marriage but he politely
called an end to their meal.
A depressed Gloria hung out at Crimson Lights and was resigned to the fact
that she was going to prison. Jana urged Glo to "throw goodness out to the
universe." While Kevin scoffed, Gloria eagerly listened to Jana preach about
Karma. Gloria thought about ways she could perform good deeds.
Jack wandered around his house with a martini. He called out for John to
visit him but got no response. Sharon came home and asked her troubled hubby
what was wrong. He talked about feeling mired in the past and decided to go
for a workout. After Jack departed, Sharon found his cell phone and
discovered lots of missed calls.
Lauren was thrilled that Michael dropped the case against Jack. "I'm so
proud of you," she gushed and he insisted that he never wanted to be like
Gloria.
Lily turned down Cane's proposal. "It's too much, too soon," she pointed
out. He was disappointed and she was afraid she would lose him but he
assured they would still be together. Lily then lamented how she
disappointed everyone connected to her modeling career. She headed over to
Jabot, where Chloe surprisingly conceded that Lily has a great career and a
great guy. "Envy sucks," groaned Chloe and Lily gave her a hug.
Jack and Gloria crossed paths at the club; he threw her barbs but she said
she didn't wish him any ill will. Jack was then sickened to encounter
Michael in the gym but was surprised when Baldwin announced he was dropping
the suit. Jack was shocked and Michael asked if John would be proud of his
son. Michael stalked away and Jack was obviously affected by the remark.
Jana and Kevin were surprised when Jeffrey revealed that he didn't want
Gloria to got to prison. He just wanted a divorce, "a substantial but
reasonable cash settlement" and would leave town. Kevin huffed that Jeff
would just come back with more blackmail but he said he would give Gloria
the contaminated cream. "It's a take-it-or-leave-it proposition," Jeff
asserted. When Kevin walked away, Jana told Jeff that Gloria loved him.
Cane told Jill that Lily didn't want to marry him... Sharon was stunned when
Jack asked if he was being fair to Gloria.... While Kevin, Jana, Michael and
Lauren toasted to Jeffrey's imminent departure, Jana theorized that Jeff and
Gloria were "star-crossed lovers." ... Gloria was on the phone when Jeffrey
approached unseen and heard her say, "I do so want to adopt a child."
Thursday
Since Phyllis wasn't around, Sharon told Nick that she wanted a more classic look with a certain layout and ordered a re-shoot. Nick accepted her
decision. Phyllis returned from her New York trip and raved about the layout Photos, but Sharon said that she ordered a re-shoot. Phyllis was not happy. "First of all, that's not your call," she pointed out. "And second, we don't have that in our budget." Phyllis had the shoot cancelled, then was irked when Sharon made suggestions for the Web site.
The day before Reed's christening, Victoria had second thoughts of having Sabrina serving as godmother. J.T. urged his wife to do what she wanted. Victoria called Sabrina and asked her to come over. Sabrina mistakenly thought Victoria was making an overture and became hopeful. Sabrina showed up at Victoria's place and was crushed when the new mom announced, "I'm choosing another godmother." After Sabrina left, Victoria told Nick that she
wanted Phyllis to step in as godmother. They planned dinner together so Victoria could personally make the request.
A disappointed Cane gave back Katherine's ring. "I'll just put this away
until you need it... and you will," she noted. Meanwhile, Neil was happy
when Lily revealed that Cane had proposed. Dad's mood changed when Lily announced that she turned down the offer. However, Neil insisted, "Whatever your decision is, I support you." Lily announced that is she had a girl, she would name her Drucilla. Lily met up with Cane and he assured that they would keep dating.
Jana shared Lily and Cane's baby news with Amber, who didn't seem upset.
Jana then went back to her wedding planning, which included changing the
date. "I want the karma for our wedding day to be just perfect," she told Kevin. He then suggested they get rings tattooed on their fingers and Jana excitedly offered to design them.
Jill was upset to learn that Nikki switched major suppliers at Jabot. "I am not approving this deal," Jill huffed, then left for a meeting. Nikki was peeved then went to the ranch to meet the minister officiating at the
christening. J.T. showed up with Reed and an upset Sabrina soon followed.
She told Victor that Victoria didn't want anything to do with her. They
decided to go for a horse ride and Nikki overheard Victor order her horse to be saddled up. Nikki angrily reminded her ex that the horse belonged to her.
David tried to convince Jill that Jabot would save a bundle by going with
the new suppliers but she still canned the idea.... Amber told Daniel about
Lily being pregnant then wanted to know to go out on an actual date. They agreed to do so that night.... Cane and Lily were excited about their
upcoming ultrasound appointment.
Friday
A dolled-up Amber met Daniel at Indigo for their first date. Both agreed
it's kind of weird but nice to be dating a best friend. They eyed Cane and Lily, who eventually came over and exchanged strained pleasantries. After, Amber wondered if it was possible for her and Daniel to
be an official couple; they agreed not to wreck their friends-with-benefits
arrangement, kissed and ran off to get busy.
Karen paid Neil a visit. They caught up about her Vegas trip, and she
confessed spending most of the time thinking about their relationship. Neil
begged her to come back home, but she had reservations about him agreeing to raise Lily's baby. So, she suggested moving out was the only solution to salvage their relationship.
Gloria griped about volunteering at a soup kitchen. Jeffrey gave her a hard
time about her "do-good attitude" and inquired about her adoption plans.
When Glo confirmed them, Jeff announced she'd lost her mind. Gloria stormed off to the bar; Jeff followed. Glo said she wanted to change her life,
adding that everyone's adopting kids these days so why not? Jeffrey advised
her against it and declared she's perfect as is. Later, Glo drunkenly
admitted that she hated sharing Jeffrey with other women; which delighted
him. "You know how long I waited to hear that?" he purred but Glo excused
herself and ran off. Jeffrey showed up at her hotel room later and picked
her up his arms.
Phyllis, Nick, J.T. and Victoria gathered at Crimson Lights, where Vicki
asked Phyllis to be Reed's godmother. After some hesitation, Phyllis
accepted. Then Adam interrupted, saying he'd just returned from New
York to meet with a beauty campaign spokesperson. Phyllis, who was also in
The Big Apple, called Adam out for lying and claimed she spied him with a
mysterious brunette. After Nick and J.T. ran off to play pool, Phyllis and
Victoria commiserated about being betrayed by people they love. Meanwhile, J.T. vowed to Nick that he would figure out what Adam is up to.
At the ranch, Sabrina affirmed she wasn't planning to attend the
christening, but Victor insisted she be at his side. Sabrina said she still
wants to be with Victor, even if Vicki doesn't come around to accepting them
together. Then Victor revealed that he purchased a pricey painting in
London. Later, Victor and Sabrina were blissfully making out half-naked on
the couch when Adam — who was dropping off some paperwork — suddenly walked
in on them, unnoticed. He quickly walked out the door but ran into an
embittered Victoria, who refused to stay outside at his suggestion. She then got an eyeful of her former BFF dressing in the living room and immediately stormed out. Adam followed and told Victoria that Sabrina had been plotting to seduce Victor for a while now. Victoria got irked by Adam and told him to leave her alone. Meanwhile, Victor told Sabrina that he was in love with her and she stated the same.
At Indigo, Lily sensed Neil was depressed. "Something's wrong," she sighed to Cane but that didn't ruin her appetite as she chowed down on a deep-fried snack. After wiping sauce off her chin, Cane presented his pregnant girlfriend with a necklace. For names, they agreed on Drucilla Jill or Drew Phillip, then proclaimed their love to each other.
Neil came home to find Karen packed and leaving. She promised it wasn't the end of their relationship. "Right now, you need to be Lily's dad first," she pointed out. "My head is telling me that we both need room right now."
