After they went ice skating, Jack took Emily back to his place and presented her with a Christmas tree. She noticed that there were no ornaments on it and he explained that they were going to decorate it. Jack began by stringing up the lights. He then went through the ornaments and showed Emily one he'd made in the fourth grade. Em was impressed that the Abbotts had saved all of their ornaments over the years. She liked one that looked like a crystal; he shared that it was the ornament that John had given Traci the year Colleen was born. He became emotional as he thought about the holidays he'd spent with his family. Later, they finished the tree and Jack asked Emily about her family. She replied that her parents were dead and she'd thought that by now she'd have her own family. "It's not too late," Jack told her.

Nick and Victoria met at the G.C.A.C. She lamented to her brother about her problems with J.T. Nick asked if she really wanted to go to Dubai. Victoria replied that she needs to work and is hoping that he'll go with her. Just then, J.T. and Reed Joined them. Nick bristled when Sharon and Adam arrived. "Oh, look, our fan club's here," Sharon snarked. Adam asked if she wanted to go home, but she wanted to stay at the club. She and Adam sat down to order, but then Nick came over to them. Sharon made small talk by saying how glad she was that Daniel made bail. Adam noted how horrible it had been in jail when he did time. Nick snapped that Adam had been imprisoned because he was actually guilty. Adam tried to change the subject by bringing up Newman's Dubai deal, but Nick replied that he and Victoria had it covered. Next, Sharon and Nick discussed getting Noah a snowmobile for Christmas, but when Adam tried to join in on the conversation, Nick told him to butt out. After, Adam promised Sharon that he'd be more sensitive to Nick's feelings, but she was pleased that they'd managed to speak to each other without it turning into a fight. Adam told Sharon that she makes him want to be a better man. They kissed.

At Crimson Lights, Daniel thanked Michael, Phyllis and his friends for helping him get bail. He wondered where Amber was; Deacon was busy dragging her into his car. Amber struggled to get free.... Eden became suspicious when Daisy said that a rat being in Lauren's store wasn't a big deal. Lauren and Noah defended Daisy, but Eden didn't trust her "nice" routine.... Daniel looked for Amber outside, but couldn't find her. He called her cell, but no one answered. Meanwhile, Deacon took Amber to a barn and told her that they're going to start a new life together with his son. She became emotional as she thought about the little boy whom she'd once raised as her child. "He still thinks of you as his mother," Deacon said quietly. Daniel then found them and told Deacon to get away from her. Deacon revealed that Phyllis blackmailed him into getting Amber out of town.

At Restless Style, Chloe thought about how she'd given up the name of Billy's source behind his back in order to get him out of jail. Meanwhile, Billy wrote an editorial about his prison stay. Just then, the juror who'd been his source, arrived and reamed him out for giving her name to the judge. Billy denied saying anything and reminded her that he went to jail to protect her. Chloe became more and more uncomfortable as she watched the exchange. Billy went to call Rafe to straighten things out. He was furious that someone blabbed to the judge — and then realized that it was Chloe. Chloe argued that she got him out so he could experience Delia's first Christmas. Billy responded by firing her.

J.T. And Victoria waited on line at the club so that their son could sit on Santa's lap. J.T. suggested that afterward, they get Reed a sitter and spend some time alone. When the three of them reached Santa, he insisted that they all pose in the shot. Later, Victoria brought up going to Dubai, which displeased J.T. She asked if he and Reed could join her. "I have responsibilities here," he said. "What about your responsibilities to us?" she said. He accused her of not taking him seriously. She replied that she never meant to make him feel that way. He then told her that she can go to Dubai if she wants, but not with their son.

Nick went to the coffeehouse looking for Phyllis and Daniel. Kevin gave him Phyllis's phone, which she'd left behind. Paul called her phone and Nick answered it. He wondered what was going on.... Amber couldn't believe that Phyllis had blackmailed Deacon, but Daniel didn't seem to be fazed. Deacon realized that she and Daniel were also in on the setup. The cops and Phyllis soon arrived on the scene and Deacon was arrested. Paul and Nick joined them and Daniel thanked Paul for assisting them. Phyllis suggested that they celebrate, but Daniel and Amber just wanted to go home. Phyllis was thrilled that she'd saved her son, but Nick was angry that she'd kept her plot against Deacon a secret from him. Phyllis retorted that he's a hypocrite because he never told her that he knew about Adam and Sharon, and how it's driving him crazy. "This thing with Sharon, it goes on and on," she stated, "and it's because you can't stand the thought of Adam and your ex-wife together."

Lauren and Michael went home, looking forward to an intimate evening, but were interrupted when Eden kept banging on the door, explaining that she left her keys. Michael let her in and revealed that he ran a background check on Daisy and she has no criminal record. Eden wasn't convinced that Daisy's clean. After she left, Lauren and Michael went to their bedroom. Daisy quietly entered their home and looked at the report on herself.
