Monday
A doctor examined Daniel, who seemed in a daze as he kept muttering Daisy's name. Lauren hovered nearby and anxiously wondered what Daniel was talking
about. Phyllis escorted Lauren away so that the doctor could have privacy.
Phyllis became alarmed when Daniel was wheeled in for a MRI because of his
disorientation. Lauren assured Phyllis that Daniel will be fine.
Victoria tearfully admitted to her mom that she can't have anymore babies.
Nikki comforted her daughter and advised Victoria and Billy to consider
other avenues to become parents again.
Jana tried to cozy up with Kevin, who was extremely uncomfortable. Chloe
called Kevin with the news that Daniel woke up and Kev wanted to go to the
hospital right away. Jana fretted that Daisy may have mentioned something
incriminating to Daniel that could make trouble for Jana. She wanted to come
along and Kevin tried to talk her out of it. Gloria arrived and when Jana
was out of the room, Kevin slipped out so his mom could have some alone time
with Jana to try to prove that her memory problem is a charade. Glo then
attempted to trip up Jana by suggesting that Noah be hired at Crimson Lights
but Jana slyly pointed out that he's still living in Paris.
Primrose ordered Billy to remove his shirt to prove that he's not wearing a
wire in order to write an article about her adoption agency. Once she was
satisfied, Prim explained that she has the documentation needed to make a
private adoption happen quickly. When Billy said he needed more time to
think about it, Prim became upset and Billy nervously rushed out.
Sharon visited Adam, who was losing faith that he can beat the charges
against him. As Sharon pep talked him, the Assistant D.A. showed up and
offered a plea bargain: Confess to manslaughter and go to jail for 12 years.
Adam turned down the deal and after the A.D.A. left, Sharon promised to find
a way to free him.
Nick ordered Michael to file for sole custody of Faith. Michael cautioned
what affect this could have ultimately on Faith. Nick insisted that Sharon
has messed-up priorities and Michael pointed out that a custody battle could
get very nasty. Nick didn't care. After Michael left, Sharon showed up
and ranted at Nick for stooping so low. She charged that filing for sole
custody is really about Nick's hurt ego because she is now with Adam. Nick
disagreed and Sharon, after kissing Faith good-bye, stalked out.
Kevin was happy to see Chloe at the hospital. They stole away to kiss and he
promised that his situation with Jana is just temporary.... Michael shared
with Phyllis and Lauren that no babies were reported abandoned in Canada.
Lauren worried that Daisy may have harmed her child.... Billy secretly
called Prim and said he wanted a baby but balked when she announced it would
cost him $2 million. Prim declared that Billy had 24 hours to make a
decision.... Lauren sneaked into Daniel's room and tried to get info from
him about Daisy. Phyllis barged in and blasted Lauren for badgering Daniel.
Lauren became emotional and confessed to Michael that she's terrified now
that Daisy is on the loose. After calming down, she wanted to apologize to
Phyllis but Michael advised his wife to wait until tomorrow.... Sharon told
Adam about Nick filing for sole custody.... Phyllis was greatly relieved
when a doctor informed her that Daniel's MRI results were normal.... Jack
showed up in the general store in Hawaii.
Tuesday
Diane and her son arrived at the ranch so Kyle could check out the ice pond. Victor still hoped that Diane would consider his offer to move in. Diane was wary of the arrangement but when Victor assured her his offer had no strings attached, she agreed to move into the carriage house temporarily.
Billy called Primrose and demanded they iron out a few details before making
a deal. When they met, Billy wanted to see the baby before he forked over
any money. Prim went outside, then came back with the infant. Billy held the
baby and agreed to pay the big bucks for her.
Nick checked in with Jack about his search for proof about Skye. Jack, who
was at the general store, explained he was posing as a surfing enthusiast.
After hanging up, Jack asked a local about the "scenery" and the dude
eventually shared that a nearby shack, where a female squatter had
supposedly lived, recently burned down. Koa, the proprietor, grew suspicious
about Jack asking so many questions.
Nikki checked in with her daughter and advised Victoria to avoid mediation
by working things out with Victor. Victoria doubted that could happen and
Nikki said that “Newman pride" is getting in the way. Victoria claimed the
stress that her father stirred up probably caused her miscarriage and she
can never forgive him for that. Vance arrived and Victoria asked her mom to
leave. Once Nikki was gone, Vance proposed that they accuse Victor of trying
to dismantle his company so there will be less to give to his daughters if
he loses.
Sharon popped into Nick's house and railed at him for keeping her away from
Faith, declaring that as soon as Faith wakes up from her nap, she is
taking her daughter home with her. Nick agreed as long as Sharon didn't have
any visitors. Sharon accepted the terms and happily took Faith back to
her house.
Nikki showed up at the ranch and begged Victor to reach out to Victoria. He
gruffly refused and vowed that his daughters would not get a piece of
company. Nikki revealed that Victoria is devastated because she can't have
children, which visibly affected Victor. Nikki urged her ex to make peace
with their daughter but he again refused. Nikki got upset and Victor ordered
her to leave. "I'm ashamed of you," Nikki yelled and stormed out.
Billy returned home and Victoria lamented that she can't believe how her dad
let this war escalate. Billy could see that Victoria had lost
some of her fighting spirit and suggested that she back out of the lawsuit.
"It's too late," Victoria sighed.
Diane showed up at Nick's doorstep and announced that she is moving into the
carriage house. Nick was happy with the news and they shared a steamy
kiss.... Koa texted Victor a photo of Jack at the general store.... Jack
arrived at the burnt-out shack and called Nick to report that he’d found a
scorched bottle of Skye's favorite perfume. The guys realized that
not only was Sharon telling the truth, but Victor may have engineered Skye's
disappearance from Genoa City.
Wednesday
Victor met with Michael, who reported that the forensics accounting of
Newman Enterprises didn't turn up any improprieties. Michael was encouraged
that Victor was on sure footing for the mediation against his daughters.
Before leaving for the courthouse, Victor called Koa and reported that the
man in the photo is Jack Abbott.
As Owen's trial neared, Heather asked Paul to help her find out the identity
of the prosecution's secret witness. He left a message for Chris and Heather
headed out to do her own snooping. Nina showed up and told Paul she was
nervous about telling Ronan that she knows about his illness.
While Sharon happily played with Faith, Adam called her from jail. He was
pleased to hear that she was spending time with her daughter and Sharon
assured that luck was changing for both of them. Jack later called Sharon
with the news that he found a scorched bottle of Skye's perfume in Hawaii.
Sharon was surprised and grateful for Jack's efforts. He asked for the name
of the police investigator Sharon originally reported Skye's death to. Jack
then contacted the cop and shared his findings but it wasn't enough proof
that Skye was ever on the island.
At the D.A.'s office, Heather ran into a brick wall trying to find out
who the secret witness is. She spied a CD on the D.A.'s desk that was
labeled as a recording of Chance's shooting so she snatched it. She brought the
CD to Paul and they listened to it. Paul realized that the shots from
Ronan's gun were blanks.
Victor, Abby and Victoria showed up at the mediation, where Michael
presented proof that Victor's holdings are in order, which seemingly
satisfied the judge. Vance then accused Victor of trying to devalue his
company with a recent deal and requested that the judge hold one third of
Newman Enterprises in escrow to protect his clients' assets. Victor pointed
out that such a move would prevent him from conducting business. The judge
left to deliberate and Victor gruffly warned Victoria that she could destroy
his company. The judge returned and sided with Vance. A furious Victor
informed his daughters that their trust funds will not be worth anything now
that he can't run his business.
Nina informed Ronan that she had her liver tested to see if she's a
compatible donor for him. He balked at her knowing about his disease but she
said that she would do everything she can to save him, no matter how much he
pushes her away. Nina was stunned to learn that Ronan tracked down his birth
father but he had died years ago from the same disease. Nina tearfully vowed
to help her son and embraced him. After hesitating, Ronan hugged her, too.
At the general store, Jack offered to pay Koa double what Victor was paying
if Koa would confess that he had seen Skye. Koa didn't answer so Jack
started flashing Skye's photo around the store. Jack saw a hiker drop off a
post office box key that was found at the volcano. Jack picked up the key
and took out the contents out of the post office box, which convinced him of
Victor's involvement.
Thursday
Jack showed Nick the keychain that was found near the volcano where Sharon claimed she saw Skye. Nick recognized the keychain as Skye's since it can been seen with her in the photos from the security camera on the Newman elevator (when she was trapped there with Victor during a blackout). On the key ring was a key that opened a post office box where Skye's perfume was delivered. Nick asked Jack to keep the evidence quiet for now but Jack said he couldn't do that as he didn't want to become implicated in Victor's cover up.
At home, Victoria was feeling guilty about her win at the mediation but Billy assured she didn't do anything worse than her father. Billy then received a call from an impatient Primrose, who wanted the rest of the payment for the baby. Billy had to hang up and when Victoria asked who he was talking to, he claimed someone from his office. Victoria grew suspicious and asked what her husband is really up to. Before Billy could answer, Phyllis called with the news that Jack wanted to see them about a breaking story and Billy rushed out.
Ronan lit into Heather for blabbing about his health to Nina. Heather refused to apologize, then revealed that she listened to the recording of Chance's shooting and had questions. Ronan got upset and told her to leave the case and him alone. Heather walked out and convinced a former co-worker to bring her a file.
Jack showed up at the jail and handed Sharon and Adam the keychain and the photo of Skye holding it. Sharon was grateful but Jack already regretted that it could mean Adam getting released.
Victor welcomed the press into his office to address the ruling against Newman Enterprises at the mediation. On live TV, Victor assured his company is operating just fine and shared his disappointment over the ingratitude of his daughters. After the reporters left, Nick warned that Newman Enterprises is already losing out on deals. Nick anticipated layoffs and salary cuts but Victor raged that no one threatens him and gets away with it, then stormed out.
Jack met with Billy and Phyllis and updated them on the Skye development. Jack cautioned them to tread carefully with their article because there's still not concrete proof that Victor is behind this.
Sharon handed over Jack's evidence to Vance, who went directly to the D.A. Sharon rushed back to the jail and gave the hopeful news to Adam. Vance finally arrived and announced that a judge is already considering Adam's case.
Victor came home to find Diane and Kyle moving in. She observed how upset he was and offered to make him macaroni and cheese. Victor smiled and admitted he was hungry. While Diane was in the kitchen, Jack showed up and warned that things are about to get much worse for Victor. Jack was stunned when he saw that Diane and Kyle had moved into the ranch, and demanded an explanation from Diane.
Nick blasted Victoria for going too far with their father. She defended her actions but Nick charged that Victoria is turning into Victor. Billy arrived and ordered his brother-in-law to leave. Nick complied and Victoria was thoroughly depressed. Billy called Prim and told her he wanted the baby that night.
Christine showed up at D.A. Spencer's office and told Ronan they have lots of work to do. Chris was troubled to hear that Heather is snooping around about Chance's shooting. Ronan assured that Heather will back off. Meanwhile, Heather learned that the paramedics who showed up to treat Chance never worked for the emergency medical team in Genoa City.
Friday
After Kyle left the room, Jack blasted Diane for moving to the ranch. She
said Victor has been only "kind and generous" since she came back
to Genoa City. To shoot down that opinion, Jack recounted the evidence he
uncovered that proved Skye was in Hawaii and Newman was behind it. Victor
asked Diane for some privacy with Jack and after she left, Victor snarled at
Abbott's accusations. Jack warned Victor not to use Diane and Kyle
against him. Victor gloated about Jack's current financial woes due to the
hedge fund collapsing but Jack bragged that he will bring the fund back to
life. As Jack was leaving, he cautioned Diane not to get in the middle of
his feud with Victor.
While Vance was meeting with a judge, Sharon and Adam were hopeful that he
would soon be freed. He wondered where he would live if that happened and
she proposed that he move in with her. Adam was touched by Sharon's
steadfast faith in him.
Daniel woke up and was still groggy. Phyllis explained that Daisy was last
seen in Canada but Daniel remembered finding Daisy in Jana's car but nothing
after that. Jack showed up and Daniel recalled more details about his
encounter with Daisy but not that she had given birth.
As Spencer strategized with Ronan about Owen's trial, Heather barged in and
demanded to know what really happened to Chance. Ronan took Heather aside
and ordered her to mind her own business. She demanded to know the identity
of the secret witness but he said he couldn't trust her anymore since she
told Nina about his illness. Heather then surmised that if Ronan's gun was
shooting blanks, that means Chance is alive. Ronan finally confirmed it and
Heather burst into tears.
Christine was surprised to hear from Nina that Ronan is dying. Nina hoped
that she is a match so she can donate a part of her liver. Christine
realized that's why Ronan is has been so distant from Nina, so as not to
hurt her if he should die. Nina received a call that she's not a viable
match, which crushed her. She told Christine that Chance is their only hope
to save Ronan's life but Chris said she couldn't risk Chance coming out of
hiding.
Sharon met with Victor at the G.C.A.C. and informed him that Adam will soon
be free, which means everything Vic did to set up his son was for nothing.
On top of that, Sharon pointed out, she has to live with the memory of
seeing Skye die. Victor warned that Adam is a psychopath and will drag
Sharon down with him. Victor and Sharon were shocked when Adam walked in and
announced that the charges against him were dropped. As Victor scowled, a
thrilled Sharon told Adam that her offer for him to live with her still
stands.
Nick returned and apologized to Victoria for coming down so hard on her. She
revealed that she can't have any more children; Nick felt bad for his
sister. He suggested adoption but Victoria shared that Billy has been
distracted lately by mysterious errands. Meanwhile, Billy met Primrose and
demanded the baby. She wanted the second half of the $2 million payment but
he threatened to go to another source to procure a baby. Prim finally
produced the infant and Billy authorized the transfer of money to her. Prim
then handed over the baby and official-looking adoption papers to Billy. He
returned home and presented a shocked Victoria with their baby.
