Monday
As the cops were about to cuff Sharon, she begged Victor to help her by telling the truth about Skye but he remained silent. Sharon was forced to hand over Faith to Victor, then was led away. Adam immediately called Leslie, while Victor called Nick with the news that Faith was coming back home. Nick, who was still at Victoria's house, was confused but Victor said he would explain everything later.
Daniel gazed at the baby in his arms, remembering that she is the one he helped Daisy to deliver. After handing Lucy back, Abby could tell that something was bothering Daniel. She assumed that he was worrying about his and Daisy's baby but Daniel reaffirmed that since he didn't want to raise his daughter, all he ever wanted is that she be placed in a loving home. Jack and Ashley arrived and they were shocked, then thrilled about Lucy.
Lily led Cane to a hotel suite, decked out to look like Paris. He was impressed and they recalled their first kiss at Indigo. "I remember everything, every kiss, every moment," he cooed. As flashbacks of happy memories played, the Ashbys got down to serious lovemaking.
Victor arrived at Victoria's with Faith and informed everyone that Sharon was arrested for Skye's murder. Jack insisted that Sharon had gone to Hawaii to prove that Skye was alive, not to hurt her. Jack charged that Sharon is an innocent victim of Victor's plan to frame Adam. Nick headed to the police station and Victor offered to take care of Faith. As Daniel wondered to himself how his daughter ended up in Billy and Victoria's home, Victoria presented Lucy to Victor. Everyone was stunned when Victor didn't acknowledge his new granddaughter and walked out. Nikki gave chase and begged Victor to look past his pride and anger to be happy for their daughter. Victoria joined them and wanted her dad to come back but he fumed that their new baby just keeps her tied to Billy. "I'm ashamed of you," Victor growled and stalked away. Victoria refused to let the tirade dampen her revelry over becoming a mom again.
At the police station, Christine explained to Sharon, Adam and Leslie that a tourist in Hawaii was videotaping the volcano but Sharon and Skye arguing could be heard in the background. Only a portion of the conversation could be heard, which made it sound like Sharon was threatening Skye. That was enough proof to charge Sharon with premeditated murder and she was booked. Later, bail was set at $5 million, which Sharon didn't have. Nick showed up and told Sharon that he would do everything to keep Faith away from her and Adam. As Adam vowed to clear her, Sharon was led to her jail cell.
Daniel cryptically told Abby that things work out the way they're supposed to.... Victor told Nick not to worry about Sharon and Adam and focus on Faith instead.... At the G.C.A.C., Nikki was tempted by booze and called Deacon for support.
Tuesday
Michael, Lauren, Cane, Lily and Tucker gathered at the Chancellor estate
with Katherine and Murphy for a brunch at Jill's invitation. The hostess,
with Colin at her side, announced that she and Colin have some special news
to share. After everyone was seated around the dining table, Jill chirped
that she accepted Colin's marriage proposal. Everyone objected, which riled
up Jill. Cane took Colin aside and ordered him to call off the engagement
but Dad refused. Meanwhile, Lauren tried to talk sense into Jill, who got
offended when Lauren suggested that Colin may be after Jill's money as well
as Fenmore's. Jill was further hurt when Cane vowed that he wouldn't rest until
Jill canceled her marriage plans.
Phyllis showed up at the jail and Sharon assumed she was there to gloat.
Phyllis taunted that Sharon may not be a cold blooded murderer but she could
have killed Skye during the heat of the moment. Sharon pointed out that if
she could be pushed to such extremes, Phyllis would've been dead 10 times by
now. Sharon then shouted for the guard and Phyllis was escorted away.
At the G.C.A.C., Jack grumbled at Diane for lodging at the ranch. He then
explained how Sharon got arrested because of Victor. Diane excused herself
and Adam sat down at Jack's table. Adam asked Jack to pay Sharon's bail
but Jack said he was through helping her. Adam stormed off and Phyllis
showed up. She admitted she believed that Sharon could never kill anyone and Jack agreed.
Nick and Victor broke the news to Noah that his mom was arrested for Skye's
murder. Noah was understandably upset and headed out to see Sharon. Nick
again asked his dad if he was involved with Skye's disappearance from Genoa
City. Victor denied it but was surprised when Diane showed up to tell Nick
that she just heard about Sharon's arrest. Victor asked why Diane came to
Nick's place and she covered that she wanted to offer Nick help with Faith.
After Victor left, Nick shared that he was conflicted about helping Sharon.
He invited Diane over for dinner that night and she said she would let
him know later, then left.
Noah visited Sharon and assured that he believes she's innocent. Sharon was
touched and told her son that she is still in love with Adam. Noah insisted
that he will never accept that, noting that Adam is the source of all
her troubles. After Noah departed, Victor appeared and said he would only
help Sharon if she dumped Adam, who showed up in time to hear his dad's
offer. Adam insisted that he will outsmart Victor in the end.
Tucker met Noah and Devon at Crimson Lights to talk about Noah's demo. Tucker said
he was impressed and wanted Noah and Devon to fly to his recording studio
now and lay down some tracks. The boys excitedly accepted.
Noah ordered Michael to pay Sharon's bail anonymously so that it can't be
traced to Victor. Later, he proposed to Diane that they go over some
blueprints over dinner. She sad she had another commitment, then called Nick
to accept his dinner invitation.
Sharon was shocked when Leslie informed her that her bail was paid by an
anonymous benefactor.... Lily suspected that Cane knew more about Colin that
he let on and reminded her husband that keeping secrets is just as bad as
lying.... Noah told Nick that he's flying to New York to record his music.
Nick advised his son to slow down but Noah revealed that he already signed a
contract with Tucker.... Colin suggested to Jill that they elope and she
excitedly agreed.
Wednesday
Diane showed up at Nick's place for dinner and observed that he
was being aloof. Nick explained that his life was chaotic and he didn't want
to drag Diane into his drama. Even though she insisted she "can take it" he
thought it best that they go back to being just friends. Diane said she
understood but was obviously shaken.
Back at Sharon's house, she and Adam tried to figure out who paid her bail.
Sharon went over to Nick's house and interrupted his conversation with
Diane, who excused herself and left. Sharon asked Nick if he paid her bail
and became upset when he said not only did he not front the money, but he
doesn't know anyone who would. Sharon insisted that Faith was coming home
with her and, despite Nick's objections, went upstairs to retrieve her.
Jack was at Restless Style when Phyllis received word that Sharon's bail
had been paid. Phyllis asked if Jack helped out Sharon but he assured he
didn't. Phyllis wrote a sensational article about Sharon's release.
At the G.C.A.C., Nikki reamed Victor for his "appalling" behavior towards
their daughter but he refused to be feel guilty about not welcoming Victoria
and Billy's new baby. Victor gruffly reminded that Victoria may cost him
his company, then pointed out how Nikki slept around in "sleazy motels" and
stalked away. Again, Nikki found herself tempted with booze and called
Deacon. She asked if she could come over to his place and he readily agreed.
Billy received an email from someone who claimed to be the tourist who
provided the incriminating audio of Sharon and Skye and offered it to Billy
for a price. Billy made the deal and received the recording over the
Internet. He listened to it with Phyllis and she pushed him to post it on
their web site since it made Sharon appear very guilty. Billy reluctantly
agreed. Later, Phyllis admitted that she doesn't think Sharon killed Skye.
Nikki showed up at Deacon's place and confessed her struggle to remain
sober. He gave her a pep talk and she gratefully hugged him. That turned
into passionate kissing and they started doffing their clothes.
Adam met with Jack and proposed that they work together to make the Newman
Fund rebound. Jack was reluctant but Adam professed they could make millions
and stick it to Victor. Adam advised Jack to think about his proposition.
Diane returned to Victor's house and told him her plans fell through. As
they looked over blueprints, he admitted to knowing about her financial
woes. Diane was embarrassed but he assured that she is the right woman for
his project. Victor started lamenting about his own troubles but she offered
words of encouragement. Victor started to kiss her. Diane stopped him ...but
then disrobed.
Thursday
After waking up in bed with Deacon, Nikki lamented that their romp was "a mistake." Deacon understood and said he would be willing to spend any time with Nikki on her terms. That made her feel better and she revealed that she's leaving town to visit her sister.
Billy proudly introduced Lucy to his Restless Style staff. One of the
photographers wanted to take a family picture and post it on the Website.
Billy reacted harshly to the suggestion, which surprised Victoria. He covered
by claiming concern about "wackos" being out there but Victoria asked if he
was afraid Lucy's birth parents would see her and want her back. Billy
shrugged that off and insisted that they had adoption papers that stated
Lucy is theirs.
Diane cooed to Victor that his sheets were "decadent." They returned to
blueprints but their interaction remained playful. Nikki showed up and was
unhappy to find Diane with Victor. Diane excused herself and Nikki informed
Victor of her travel plans but wanted to finish their previous conversation.
When she tried to talk to him, he cut her off and ordered her to leave.
After Nikki departed, Diane told Victor she wants to have fun and romance
with him and he agreed to continue with "whatever this is."
Kevin found Daniel deep in thought and asked if he memory was coming back.
Daniel said no but fibbed that he had a dream that his kid was placed in a
loving home. Kevin thought it was a nice fantasy but maintained that the
baby is unfortunately with Daisy, who had vowed never to give her up.
At Crimson Lights, Tucker and Sofia were going over Blake's report when
McCall had a question about one of the stats. Blake happened to enter and
Sofia was nervous when Tucker asked the bloke a complicated question. When
Blake hesitated, Sofia jumped in with the answer but Tucker pressed for
further explanation. Blake sniffed that he would look into it and walked
away. Tucker was upset by the snub and after Sofia left, he did a Internet
search on James Collier (Blake's alias) and discovered that person is
deceased. Tucker then called his office to see when Cane brought Blake on
board.
Lily noticed Cane was uneasy when she praised him as a family man. She asked
if he was okay and he claimed he was just overworked. Lily took the twins
for a walk and Sofia arrived. She advised Cane to handle Blake before he
blows their whole ruse with Tucker. Cane decided it was time to tell Lily
the truth but Sofia advised him against it. Tucker called and summoned Sofia
to his office.
Lily encountered Blake at Crimson Lights and tried to ask about Samantha and
his relationship with Cane. Blake stonewalled her and left. Daniel happened
by and Lily shared her nagging suspicions about Blake. Lily suddenly
remembered that Blake was the cop who showed up at the cottage on the night
of the tornado.
Meggie called Deacon and threatened to spill his role in Nikki's drinking
but he called her bluff and hung up....
Tucker explained to Sofia that James Collier is dead and that Cane is
conning them. Sofia confessed that Cane only did this to save his life and
protect his family but an enraged Tucker fired Sofia!... When Billy and
Victoria showed up at Crimson Lights with Lucy, Daniel wanted to make sure
that the baby is actually his daughter and swiped her pacifier.... Lily
returned home, filled with questions but Cane announced it was time that he
told her everything about his past.
Friday
Jack informed Adam that he wants Adam's help rebuilding the Newman Fund. Jack pointed out that they need lots of capital to get started so Adam shared that he tracked down one of Skye's off-shore accounts, which would give the fund a nice infusion of cash.
Ashley fumed to Sharon that she would have never given back Faith if she knew Sharon was going to take up with Adam, which led to murder charges for her. Sharon insisted she didn't kill anyone and was shocked when Ashley said she heard Sharon's threats to Skye on the Restless Style Website. Sharon tried to defend herself but Ashley wouldn't buy any of her reasons for being with the man who stole Faith. Adam showed up and a disgusted Ashley stormed away.
Malcolm asked Neil to stand up as his best man and Neil said he would "be honored." Despite his reservations about Sofia, Neil decided that
she's good people. Meanwhile, Sofia objected to Tucker's decision to fire
her. He argued that she put his company at risk by helping Cane deceive
him. Sofia tried to explain herself but Tucker demanded her office keys,
which she forked over and left. Neil arrived and Tucker announced that both Sofia and Cane have been terminated because of the Blake fiasco. Neil couldn't believe that Sofia would get mixed up in Cane's deception.
Leslie showed up at Restless Style and handed a cease-and-desist order to Phyllis concerning Sharon's recording on the Website. After a call to Rafe, Phyllis reluctantly complied. Leslie said the damage to Sharon's defense could lead to her conviction, which caused Phyllis to smile. Later, Jack was stunned when Phyllis admitted she she doesn't think Sharon is guilty. Phyllis couldn't believe it herself when she asked Jack, "Help me, help Sharon."
Leslie warned Sharon that the jury pool has been tainted thanks to the
recording going public. Sharon was shocked that she could actually go on trial but Leslie said the D.A. wants to go to court as soon as possible.
Sharon was shaken to the core about the possibility of a jail sentence.
Phyllis and Jack showed up and said that they want to prove Sharon's
innocence. Sharon warily accepted their help.
A devastated Sofia told Malcolm that she got fired because she "messed up." Malcolm was angry that Sofia didn't tell him what was going on sooner. "What's that tell us about our relationship?" he fumed. Sofia later met with Neil and laid out her reasons for coming to Cane's aid. A fed-up Neil headed out to confront his son-in-law.
Cane confessed to Lily that Blake has been blackmailing him about his past. Cane explained that he was part of a powerful organized crime family in Australia and that he turned state's evidence after his sister Samantha was killed. Now, he's being being blackmailed to pay off the crooks he put in prison and who are now free. Lily reeled from the news and blasted her husband for keeping secrets from her again. Malcolm interrupted and announced that both Cane and Sofia have been given their pink slips. Cane told Lily he tried to pay off the blackmailers by getting Blake a high-paying job with Tucker. Cane revealed that both he and Sofia have been doing the work for Blake. Malcolm chewed out Cane and Lily ordered her husband to leave the house. A crushed Cane walked out.
