Monday
Phillip and Cane met up at Jimmy's bar. Phil urged Cane to return to the hospital to be there for Lily, but Cane didn't think Neil would let him stay. Phillip wondered what Cane planned to do next; Cane said he was going to stick around until he knew Lily was okay. Phillip wasn't planning to stay, but Cane didn't think he should walk away from the Chancellors.
In his G.C.A.C. suite, Deacon kissed Amber and told her that sleeping with her was worth waiting for, but she didn't even want to speak with him unless he got Daniel out of jail. He promised to send the DVD exonerating Daniel to the D.A. Amber then realized that Deacon had kept the phone off the hook so that Daniel could listen in on them. Amber bolted from the room.... In the jail, Daniel sadly stared at the pay phone and thought back to how he'd overheard Amber and Deacon having sex. Amber went to the prison, but Daniel refused to speak with her. She tried to explain that she was forced into sex in order to free Daniel, but he wouldn't hear it. Amber became hysterical as she filled him in on Deacon's plan. Daniel concluded that she and Deacon had had a prior relationship and exploded over the idea of Amber selling herself to him. Amber believed that she had to do it in order to get Daniel out of jail, but he disagreed. He became even more upset and screamed at her when she admitted that she hadn't intended for him to know about the incident. Amber tearfully hoped he could forgive her. "I'd rather lose you forever than see you spend your life in prison," she said. "You got your wish," he spat. Ouch!.... As he wrapped up the DVD, Deacon thought back to his night with Amber and believed that she'd be back.
In Billy's trailer, he and Mackenzie were beaming after finally having sex. Billy didn't want to tell Chloe about them yet since it was Chloe's birthday.... At the Chancellor Estate, everyone gathered to celebrate Chloe's birthday. Esther put a ridiculously cute headband on Cordelia's head as Chance held the baby. Jill arrived and Chloe asked her to stay for her birthday party. As Nina watched Chance hold Delia, she flashed back to Phillip holding Chance as a baby. Esther asked if Billy called, but Chloe said he hadn't. She didn't want to make a big deal out of her birthday, but Chance argued that being alive is worth celebrating. Chance then changed the baby's diaper for her, which Chloe appreciated. Esther was impressed with Chance, as was Chloe. Still, she bristled as Esther compared Chance to Mac, noting that they were both responsible. A lightbulb suddenly went off over
Chloe's head as she prepared to set up Mac and Chance in order to keep Mac away from Billy. Chloe then called Mac and invited her to the party. Mac was surprised to hear from her, but accepted. "She's up to something," Billy concluded. Katherine, Murphy and Nina were also surprised by Chloe's
invitation, but she lied that she and Mac had been hitting it off. After, Chloe talked up Mac to Chance, stating that they have a lot in common.
Nina met up with Phillip at the coffeehouse, where he told her that he's leaving town. Nina urged him not to walk away from his son again. Phil argued that he was returning to his life in Australia. She was touched when he remembered what her favorite kind of treat was and ordered it for her and again encouraged him to be a father. He didn't think his adult son needed a father, but Nina disagreed. She also believed that having a relationship with Chance would benefit Phillip.
Neil sat with Lily as she recovered from her surgery. "Daddy," she whispered and asked how bad it was. The doctor joined them and reported that he had to move all of her reproductive organs. Lily broke down crying and tried to
convince herself that she was dreaming. However, Neil informed her that they managed to harvest some of her eggs. This didn't comfort Lily much. Devon and Tyra joined Neil at the hospital and were devastated when they heard the news about Lily. Devon confided in Tyra that he was afraid they'd lose Lily just like they'd lost Dru. She encouraged him to have faith and embraced him. Later, Devon sat with Lily and promised her that she's not alone. He offered to get her anything she needed; she wanted Cane. Tyra told Devon that he needed to get Cane if that's what would make Lily feel better.... Neil sat with Lily and prayed to Dru for guidance. Tyra entered Lily's hospital room and overheard a devastated Neil talking to his late wife. After listening for a few moments, Tyra finally left Neil alone.
Jill and Cane met up at the bar. Jill told him that she knows he's a good man who loves his wife and family.... Mac arrived at the estate for Chloe's birthday, but as soon as she arrived, everyone left the room — save for Chance. They realized that they'd been set up. Mac told him that she's
seeing someone; he replied that he's interested in another woman. Still, they were willing to get to know each other as friends. Chloe and Esther watched from the stairs and were pleased to see them getting along. Later, Billy arrived and Chloe told him that Mac and Chance are hitting it off. Billy took Delia from Chance and made small talk with him. Nina returned home and asked to speak with Chance; she then urged her son to get to know his dad.... Chloe spied Mac and Billy sharing a loving glance.... Jill brought Cane as her guest to the party. Kay welcomed him with open arms, but Nina and Billy weren't pleased to see him there. Mac tried to keep Billy calm; before she left, she made him promise that he wouldn't make a scene. He reluctantly agreed. After Mac left, Chance told Chloe that nothing was going to happen between himself and Mac. He then called Phillip and asked if they could get together. Phil was pleased and cancelled his flight to Australia.... Cane wished Chloe a happy birthday and apologized about crashing her party. She asked him to leave. Devon then called Cane and asked him to come to the hospital. As Cane left, Billy shoved him out the door and
refused to let Cane back into the family.
Tuesday
Nikki realized that it was the anniversary of Sabrina's death. Paul reminded her that what happened to Sabrina was David's fault and not hers.
At the Chancellor Estate, Billy shoved Cane and told him that there is no way he's letting Cane back into the family. Cane shot back that he's the one who Katherine and Jill rely on — and that the Jill only made Billy the CEO of Jabot for political reasons. Billy didn't believe it, but still wanted to hear the details. Cane suggested he talk to Jill.
At Restless Style, Phyllis debated whether to keep in the pictures of Summer that were taken before her brain damage. She and Nick ultimately agreed to keep them in as a way of showing that they know she'll get well. After, she and Nick spent time with Summer at home, but Phyllis kept making calls to the office. Nick urged her to go to work while he cared for their daughter. After she left, Nick suggested several DVDs for Summer to watch, but she wanted to watch Nick and Phyllis's wedding video.
At the G.C.A.C., a pregnant Sharon was surprised to receive a bunch of baby stuff from Jack. Meanwhile, Jack arranged to have security tightened at the club, but asked the staff not to tell Sharon. After, Sharon thanked Jack, but asked him not to hover and to give her some time to herself.
The minister who wed Lily and Cane visited Lily in the hospital. He reminded her that God hasn't turned away from her, but Lily didn't believe it. He insisted that she could rely on God and the her family, friends and husband. Lily revealed that Cane wasn't the person she thought he was and their marriage is over. The minister was sorry to hear this, but noted that she and Cane were obviously in love with each other. He believed that Cane could help her get through the crisis. Later, Cane arrived and the minister told him that Lily needs him. Lily was happy to see him and called Cane her
husband. He approached her and she cried about not being able to have children. Cane assured her that all he cares about is that she's okay — and informed her that her eggs have been frozen. Lily became hopeful as she realized that she still had a chance to have children.
Mary Jane again met up with Mackenzie in the alley behind Jimmy's bar. Mac brought her a box full of necessities such as shampoo and a toothbrush. MJ refused to go to a shelter, but Mac encouraged her to do so. Mac asked MJ for her name, but Mary Jane snapped that it's none of her business and that she can't trust anyone.
Victor was at Newman Enterprises and didn't want to be disturbed, but Jack arrived and showed him a disgusting baby doll that MJ had left for Sharon. He warned Victor that Mary Jane is dangerous and that Phyllis, Sharon, Ashley and Summer's lives were in jeopardy. Victor offered to have Sharon move into the ranch or to hire a body guard; Jack replied that he took the suite next to hers. The rivals realized that they needed to work together to protect their loved ones.
Phyllis went to Crimson Lights, where she ran into Paul and Nikki. She revealed that Summer was improving. Sharon then stopped by the coffeehouse and made small talk with Phyllis. Phyllis became emotional as she stated that she doesn't know what she'd do without Nick's help when it comes to Summer. Phyllis then suddenly attacked a woman who resembled MJ. Sharon stepped in and prevented a fight from happening, then helped a shaken Phyllis calm down. Phyllis fled the scene. Later, Jack asked Paul for information on MJ. Paul informed him that he checked out the companies Mary Jane had worked for, but no one at these places knew who she was. He concluded that someone had helped her put together a paper trail. Paul also confided that there's something familiar about her. Jack asked Paul to work full time on the MJ case. Paul told him that he was until Victor asked him to back off. Jack didn't understand why Victor would want that.
Billy met up with Mac at the bar. She sensed that something was bothering him, but he didn't want to discuss it just then. MJ hid and watched as Billy and Mac kissed good-bye and realized that Billy is Jack's brother. MJ reemerged and asked if Mac really wanted to help her; Mac replied that she'd been on the streets herself so she knew what it was like. Mac assured her that she's not alone and invited MJ to move into a room at the bar.
Phyllis returned home and found Summer and Nick watching their wedding video — for the sixth time! She happily joined them. Meanwhile, a tearful Sharon watched her and Nick's wedding video in her hotel suite.
Billy arrived at Crimson Lights and joined Jack and Paul. Paul asked Billy why he'd hired Mary Jane. Billy said that she seemed to be the best person for the PR job when he'd interviewed her. Later after Paul left, Jack told his brother that he suspects that Victor was the one who brought Mary Jane to town. Jack vowed to find MJ before Victor and make sure she doesn't hurt anyone else.... Nikki visited Victor in the office and again apologized for Sabrina's death and for letting David into her life. Victor kindly replied that they all make mistakes and forgave her. He then asked to be alone as he thought about Sabrina.
Wednesday
At the Newman Ranch, Victor made a "pregnant" Ashley close her eyes and led her downstairs. He presented her with a surprise — a new chair meant to symbolize her seat on the Newman Board of Directors. She wondered who was stepping down, but he was evasive. She realized it was Colleen who was leaving. Victor lied that Coll had decided to leave for "personal reasons." Ash didn't buy it and noted that Victor wanted her gone. He shrugged that this was the best solution for everyone. Later, an emotional Ashley apologized for doubting him and thanked him for believing so much in her. They looked forward to having a life with Abby and their "baby."
Billy went to Crimson Lights and called Jill, asking to speak with her. Colleen ran into him and told him that she's about to be kicked off the Newman board. She then filled him in on how she'd gotten drunk with a bartender from the G.C.A.C. and was filmed exposing herself to the crowd. "I am roadkill at Newman," she sighed, revealing that she was supposed to be Jack's eyes and ears at Newman. Billy offered to go up against Victor with her, vowing to protect his family.
At Newman, J.T. couldn't believe that Victoria would kick Colleen off the board merely for getting drunk and flashing people. "Don't be your father," he urged. Victoria argued that Colleen's behavior compromised the company's image; she was also annoyed with J.T. for not telling her about it right away. J.T. implored her to stand up to Victor. She accused him of still loving Colleen. He didn't deny that they're friends. Vicky insisted that Colleen be removed. Billy and Colleen then arrived and Victoria asked Coll to sign a letter of resignation. Colleen asked what would happen if she doesn't; Victoria replied that she'd be forced out. Colleen asked if they could discuss it, but Vicky's mind was made up. "You've turned into your father," Colleen snapped. Billy agreed and wondered why Victoria was going along with this. He even suggested that Coll make a public apology, but Victoria wouldn't accept that, either and called her a slut. Billy shot back that Victoria's mother was a stripper, Victor has had a colorful past and
Victoria herself was a centerfold! Vicky retorted that at the time she wasn't a board member. Colleen and Billy stormed out. J.T. told Victoria that her father had asked him to dig up dirt on Colleen and suspected that Victor set Colleen up. J.T. was upset when she defended Victor. Billy urged Colleen not to give up. Later, Victoria told Victor that she kicked Colleen off the board. Victor and J.T. then squared off over Colleen. J.T. ended up resigning from Newman. Victor arranged to have a board meeting — minus Colleen — the next day.
Amber stopped by Deacon's suite and asked how he could ruin her romance with Daniel. Deacon reminded her that she didn't have to have sex with him in order to get Daniel out of jail. "You like the bad boys," he taunted. "That was the old Amber," she replied. Deacon insisted that they belong together and assured her that he sent the D.A. evidence proving that Daniel is innocent. Sharpe wanted a "thank you" from Amber.... Jana and Kevin visited Daniel in prison. He angrily informed them that Amber cheated on him. He was surprised when Jana mentioned Deacon and noted that Amber didn't seem to like him. Kevin recalled how Amber had come to him for advice and seemed to be torn up about making a decision. Jana and Kevin sympathized with Amber, but Daniel wasn't as understanding.
Michael ran into Heather at the coffeehouse and demanded that Daniel be released immediately. She replied that she doesn't know who sent the DVD exonerating him. Amber then called Michael and told him that she's with the person who has proof of Daniel's innocence. Michael told her that Heather wants to talk to the sender; he and Heather headed over to the club. Deacon lied that he found the DVD and was trying to be helpful by sending it in. Amber exploded that Deacon blackmailed her into sleeping with him and arranged for Daniel to know about it. Deacon acknowledged that she and Amber share a history, but insisted that it had nothing to do with the DVD. Heather, of course, accused Amber of coming up with excuses to cheat on Daniel. Heather said that the DVD could affect the case, but that wasn't guaranteed. Michael promised to do everything he could for Daniel. Later, he went to the jail and informed Daniel that he was being released on bail, but wasn't entirely off the hook. Before leaving, Jana reminded Daniel that Amber loves him. Michael also suggested that Daniel thank Amber for helping him out.... Amber continued to cry to Deacon about how he ruined her life. She asked him to leave her alone, but Deacon insisted that she had feelings for him. Amber stormed out of his room. Daniel called and asked to see her.
Thursday
Summer and Phyllis played princesses. Nick vowed he'd do whatever he had to to earn his crown. Nick said that as long as they were together, "There's nothing we can't survive." Nick suggested they get married again and proposed to a surprised (and delighted) Phyllis.
Sharon invited Jack to go with her on some doctor's appointments. Sharon wondered why he had lied about where he was staying. He said he was concerned about her. "It's Mary Jane. She's after you because of me," Jack admitted. Jack told her about the cookie Summer ate and the mangled baby doll outside of Sharon's room. Sharon wanted Jack to move back home and away from her. Sharon grew so impatient with him that she told him the truth about her baby — Nick, not Jack, is her father.
Victor wanted to celebrate Ashley's appointment to the Board. He made it clear to Victoria that Colleen was finished at Newman Enterprises. Victoria said that JT was very angry with her, and Victor, and they barely spoke on the drive home. Victoria begged her father to try to patch things up with JT. Victor said he'd think about it. Victor said JT should come to him if he wants his job back. Ashley walked in when Victoria was talking about Colleen flashing people at the bar. Ashley was upset she didn't know about this. She felt bad that Colleen had lost her seat on the board. Victor introduced Ashley to the board.
JT told Mac why he quit Newman Enterprises and said that he now has plenty of free time to install that security system she had wanted. Nina informed Mac that the producers want her to refocus her screenplay on Katherine's part of the Phillip/Cane drama. Nina wanted to hold off on the baby switch/husband gay rewrites until Chance could process why Phillip did what he did.
Phillip met his son for coffee. During the awkward encounter Phillip tried to explain that he is gay and didn't feel comfortable staying in Genoa City. Chance pointed out that Phillip left his responsibilities when he faked his own death and wasn't too sympathetic to his father's plight. Phillip wondered what Chance would have done if he was faced with such a difficult choice, and apologized for having bailed out of the family. Then Phillip offered to stay in town if Chance wanted him to. A choked up Chance watched his father as he left the coffee house.
Billy made it clear to his mother that he wasn't pleased she invited Cane to be part of the family. Jill thought he was just being childish, and said couldn't wait until little Delia questioned everything Billy did. If things were up to her, Billy wouldn't never have been CEO of Jabot, Jill confessed. Billy wondered who had made that decision. Upon learning it was Victor, Billy accused his mother of choosing "a fraud over your own son."
Billy was annoyed that JT was with Mac. Billy told her that his mother had just sold him down the river, adding that he wanted to tell Ashley about "the snake she married." Mac reminded him that Ashley was having a stressful pregnancy and maybe now wasn't the right time. Billy left Mac's and interrupted the board meeting, infuriating Victor.
Phillip met up with Jill. They commiserated that they did not have good relationships with their sons. Jill got defensive when Phillip insinuated that Jill had put her needs above her son's. She explained that sending him to boarding school did not compare to faking a death. Phillip said he didn't wish to insult her. She admitted that he had missed him so much when he was gone.
Chance told Nina that Phillip had told him he was gay. She admitted she still thought of Phillip as the love of her life.
Friday
At the G.C.A.C, Sharon informed Jack that he's not the father of her baby; Nick is. Jack was devastated and furious with her for lying to him. She apologized, but he wouldn't hear it. "Do you have any idea how many lives you have harmed with your lies?" he yelled. "I know you were scared! That's not a good excuse. You're a grown woman, Sharon. You're a strong woman. You're not weak. You're strong enough to have survived the death of your daughter. Don't tell me you couldn't handle this! This is beneath you. I loved you," he said, his voice getting softer. "I would have done anything for you. I deserved better." Sharon's eyes filled with tears of guilt. A resigned Jack asked if she was going to run back to Nick, but Sharon didn't know what she was going to do. "It doesn't matter," Jack sighed. "Just count me out."
Meanwhile, Nick asked Phyllis to marry him again. She happily agreed. They made arrangements with the justice of the peace and invited Noah and Daniel. Phyllis showed Nick two dresses and ultimately chose to wear the white one. Phyllis wanted it to be just them and the kids. Noah arrived at the tack house and was confused about the whole remarriage, though he was glad that Summer would have both her parents around. He agreed to attend the ceremony, but hoped that this was it and that Nick wouldn't go back to Sharon again.
Daniel and Amber met up at Crimson Lights. She was devastated to hear that he could go back to jail, and that Deacon had tricked her into sleeping with him. Daniel demanded to know more about her history with Deacon. She explained that she knew Deacon from Los Angeles, and that he'd been there for her during some of her "less-than-stellar moments." She was about to give him more details, but they were interrupted by Deacon's arrival. When he called Amber "hot," Daniel punched him. Deacon handed Daniel a file that detailed Amber's life in L.A., including tabloid articles about her life with the Forresters. Daniel learned that she'd taken her cousin's baby, as well as many other sordid acts. Amber insisted that she's a different person now and shouted that she hates Deacon. "I did this for you," Deacon sneered, arguing that if Daniel knows the truth, she'll know for real if they're really meant for each other. "If he can't deal with your past, then he's not the right one," Deacon said. He told her that he could indeed keep Daniel out of jail, but only if Amber gave him what he wants.
Nikki stopped by the Newman Ranch and was greeted by Adam. He told her that Victor and Ashley are out. Nikki informed Adam that it's the anniversary of Sabrina's death and that Victor and Ashley were probably going through a tough time, but he didn't want the lecture. After, Adam went to his computer and watched a newscast about Sabrina's death, which occurred after the gala when David's car was run off the road (which the show filled us in with via flashbacks). Adam saved the broadcast, then asked Dr. Taylor to come over.
Billy interrupted the Newman Enterprises board meeting and announced that Victor bought Gloria's Jabot stock so he could manipulate Jill into firing Ashley and make Billy the C.E.O. Ashley wanted to know if this was true. Victoria asked that everyone leave. Victor then told Ashley that he did it to protect her. Billy disagreed. "No matter how you spin it, Victor, it stinks," he said. Ashley stormed out of the office. Victor warned that Billy
would regret it, but Billy wasn't fazed. "You and your brother are losers," Victor spat. "Between the two of you, you don't have half a brain." Billy got right up in Victor's face. A physical fight was about to break out, but J.T. stopped them. Billy left, but not before stating that it wasn't over. Victor thanked J.T. and Victoria explained the importance of the day. After, Nikki stopped by to see how Victor was doing. He replied that nothing was as he hoped it would be.... An hysterical Ashley sat in her car and cried. She then turned and saw Sabrina's visions. Sabrina warned that Victor will get Ashley the way he got her, and that Ashley and her baby's life were in danger.
Billy went to Jimmy's bar and filled in Mac on the board meeting. Mac was upset that he hadn't played it cool, noting that there were better ways he could've handled it. Jack arrived and a furious Billy told him about Victor and Jabot. Jack admonished Billy for telling Ashley this in public when she's dealing with a high-risk pregnancy.... Victor came to his car and found Ashley crying. She asked him not to hurt her, then revealed that she'd just seen Sabrina..... At the ranch, Adam informed Taylor that he downloaded a bunch of articles on Sabrina and was putting them on Ashley's computer so that Victor would find them and think she was insane. Adam reminded the doc that if he didn't pretend Ashley was pregnant, he'd have to go public with Dr. Taylor's sordid past. Taylor then got a call from Victor.... Victoria and J.T. went to Crimson Lights and she thanked him for breaking up the
fight. She wanted him to return to Newman, but he wasn't so sure, noting that Victor is never held accountable for his actions. She didn't want to hear anything else said against her father. J.T. got up and left.
Daniel arrived at Phyllis and Nick's wedding, which was being held outdoors on the ranch grounds. Noah joined them. Nikki then arrived and was pleased to hear that they were renewing their vows. As the justice of the peace began to have them state their vows, Summer announced that her mommy was a princess. Aww. They then began their vows. Nick recalled how he and Phyllis got to know each other while he was accusing Daniel of killing Cassie, and though they'd started out as adversaries, he admired the way she protected her son. "You have brought passion and fire into my life, literally," he smiled. "I had to help a volunteer fire department beat a fire in New Mexico so we could get married." "I never saw a man look so handsome covered in soot," she laughed. Nick then promised to spent the rest of his life making her happy. Phyllis then stated that the first time she realized he wasn't a"boring rich guy" was when they were playing poker at Michael's bachelor party. "You love me, and you understand me," she said. "You don't try to change me. You make me laugh. You're silly, and you accept me for who I am. Maybe that's not such a good thing." "It's the best thing," Nick insisted. "And recommitting to you now just shows that we can get through anything, in the good times," she went on, "and we can face the bad times, 'cause that'swhat marriage is about, right? And I'll even accept that you get into my private stash of chocolate." Heh. Noah took the blame for that one! After finishing their vows, they went to exchange rings, but Nick presented her with a brand-new one that had yellow diamonds in it. Wow. They joked about how this was their third ceremony. As they were pronounced man and wife, Sharon watched, unseen, from behind a tree.
Daniel returned to the coffeehouse and was angry to find Amber with Deacon. She cried that she wants Deacon out of her life. Daniel softened and filled her in on Nick and Phyllis's wedding. He said that he's not ready to marry her because he doesn't know who she is. He asked for more time on his own and requested that she move out.... Deacon found an upset Victoria at Crimson Lights and joined her at her table.
Sharon returned to the club and informed Jack that she's not going to tell Nick about the baby. "I've never been on my own before, but I'm definitely alone now and I deserve to be," she said. "You're not alone," Jack assured her. They embraced. "But things can never be the same between us again," he said before walking away..... Nick carried Phyllis over the threshold of the tack house and they celebrated their new start.
Victor brought Ashley home and asked Dr. Taylor to look at her. Victor confided in Adam that Ashley was hallucinating.
