Monday

Nick left a message for Sharon telling her not to go to Brazil. Jack arrived — too late! Sharon was already there. Nick was furious, but Phyllis pointed out Sharon was doing it for Nick. Nick said he is mad at Victor "for putting the mother of my kids in danger." Phyllis's eyebrow went up. In Brazil, Sharon told Victor she'll do whatever it takes to trap Adam. Victor showed Sharon a picture of her landing at the airport that he placed in the newspaper to lure Adam. Nick called and ordered Victor to send Sharon home. Sharon got on the phone and said she won't come home until she has done what she needs to do. Nick needs Sharon here, he pleaded. "You need Sharon here?" asked an annoyed Phyllis. They argued. Phyllis asserted that Sharon is a grown woman and Nick needs to stop seeing her as a little girl who needs protection. Phyllis couldn't take his possessiveness about his ex-wife anymore. Nick asked if they could table the discussion until after the trial. Phyllis stormed out and ran into Jack at the GCAC. She ordered Jack to stop going to Nick with Sharon's problems. Jack counseled Phyllis to let it go, but she started crying and said she can't.

Adam and Skye woke up in a remote fishing village but Adam was still paranoid that Victor and Jack might find them. They argued again about going back to Sao Paulo for one last big poker game. Finally, Skye agreed not to go. Adam then spied the picture of Sharon in the newspaper and pretended to change his mind about Skye playing in the poker game. She hugged him and said he won't regret it.

Jill told Lauren that she just learned they are half sisters. Turns out Liz always knew who abandoned Jill at the hospital - a young girl whose boyfriend was Neil Fenmore. The girl later killed herself. Lauren questioned the validity of the story, citing the fact that Liz lied about Katherine being Jill's mom. Lauren said she was very close to her dad, and he would never turn his back on his child. "He was a very devoted father," she bragged. Jill said her one consolation is that she might have a sister. Lauren promised to look into Jill's story.

Snapper told Katherine that Liz wanted her body donated to research, so no funeral. He also shared that he just told Jill Neil Fenmore was her dad. Jill came home and was surprised to learn Snapper and Greg were leaving. She told them all that she shared the news about her parentage with a skeptical Lauren. Snapper reminded Jill that "Ma" will always be with them and they all said a tearful goodbye. Jill fretted that her new name is Jill Fenmore. Katherine said Jill can make herself into anyone she wants to be.

Jack asked Michael to convince Sharon to come home from Brazil, but Michael liked the idea of putting Adam on the stand. Michael returned home to find Lauren looking at pictures of her late father. Lauren dropped the bomb that Jill thinks Neil was her father. Michael replied that it's easy enough to find out.

Tuesday

Jill saw Michael at Cane's hearing and asked him to keep mum about Jill and Lauren being half-sisters. Jill fretted to Cane that Lily might never forgive him for suing Mac for the babies' stem cells. Cane said that's a risk worth taking if it saves Lily's life. Neil and Malcolm wondered if they did the right thing not telling Lily about the hearing. Neil is against the suit — even if Cane wins, Lily still might not use the stem cells. Devon said he supports Cane. Mac urged Cane to respect her and Lily's wishes and drop the suit. Cane and Mac argued their points before the judge, who was inclined to side with Cane. Lily burst into the courtroom with Olivia and asked to testify. The judge called a recess. Everyone greeted Lily — how did she find out? "I called her," admitted Jill. Everyone turned on Jill, who argued that no one deserves to be lied to by people they love. Lily and Mac thanked Jill for speaking up. Lily chastised Cane for keeping her in the dark about the lawsuit, but she understands why he did it. The judge called Lily to the stand. Lily said the doctors have done all they can for her, but she still doesn't want Mac to have the amnio. When she dies, Lily needs to know that Cane and their babies will be together.

Chance and Heather met with prisoner Frank Ellis and asked him to spill all about the murdered Briggs. Ellis revealed that on the night he died, Briggs was going to tell Chance that prison guards are getting drugs from cops and selling them to prisoners. Ellis said he would name names only if they gave him a deal in writing. No deal, responded DA Pomerantz. Heather and Chance agreed they have to get the names of the crooked cops on their own to stop the violence against them. They went back to Heather's place to find it had been ransacked. Chance said it's a message that they can get Heather anytime, anywhere. Chance and Heather pleaded their case to Pomerantz. The DA agreed to move Heather to a secure apartment and assigned a higher-level detective to be Chance's partner on the case. Detective Malloy showed up and assured Heather he "has her back now." Chance bristled.

Kevin walked in on Jana and Ryder having sex. "I'm sorry, man," said Ryder. Kevin punched him. Jana yelled at Kevin for busting in, but he spit that she's his wife and he was worried about her. Kevin threw Ryder out and warned Jana that Ryder is a con artist. Jana responded that she cares about Ryder. Kevin finds it hard to believe that Jana has fallen for his brother, the same guy who kept her locked up and brought on her aneurysm. Well, she has, retorted Jana. Kevin told his wife he was cutting off her money, which means she and "Prince Charming" will have to move out of the GCAC. Jana and Ryder felt bad that they hurt Kevin, but Jana still wanted Ryder. Ryder promised to take care of Jana and they kissed. Kevin went to the bar and ordered a vodka. Allison, the girl Gloria fixed Kevin up with, showed up. Kevin shared that he and Jana split up.

Wednesday

Ashley and Tucker went straight to a business meeting at the GCAC after returning from Japan. Tucker was sad that their trip had come to an end. The two execs-turned-lovers speculated about why Victoria had met with a Japanese civil servant instead of the head of the department stores. Tucker suggested picking Neil's brain, but Ashley refused to use him. She wondered if she should tell Neil about her and Tucker's romp in the hay. She came to the conclusion that with Lily possibly dying, she should not add to his problems by telling him the truth. Tucker asked Ashley to choose who she wanted to be with, and Ashley announced that she would choose Neil. Tucker suggested continuing to see either other without Neil knowing, but Ashley refused. She said that although she enjoyed their intimate time together in Japan, she needed to be with Neil during this difficult time. Tucker told her that he was willing to wait.

Daniel burst into the coffeehouse to confront Abby about seducing him and using the video footage for ratings. She promised she would try to find out who had "exploited" them. "Naked Heiress, Private Eye!" she bubbled. Daniel accused her of filming their tryst and leaking it herself. Abby finally broke down and admitted that she had pulled the stunt to create buzz for her show. Daniel was furious. A group of giggling girls came up to their table pointing and wondering if Daniel was the guy from the clip. "I'd have to see his butt to be sure!" one of them smirked. Daniel glared at Abby, who defused the situation by "accidentally" dropping the wrong name of her video hookup. Daniel was still seething.

Katherine paid a visit to Lauren to discuss Jill's parentage. Lauren wondered if it was possible that she and Jill could be half-sisters. Kay was sure Liz would not have lied about it on her deathbed. Lauren pointed out that Liz had lied before, when she told Jill that Katherine was her mother. Katherine pleaded with Lauren to believe it might be possible that her grandparents had put pressure on her father to deny the baby, perhaps if the mother had been unsuitable. Jill arrived, and Lauren informed her that she had been unable to find a single shred of evidence in her father's papers about the existence of another child. She also stated that she had left messages for her mother, and had people going through her father's archives. This was not enough for Jill, though. She suggested a DNA test, and said that her DNA was already on file at the hospital. Lauren agreed. "I need answers as much as you do," she sighed.

On the stand in the courtroom, Lily continued to beg the judge to block the amnio. She testified that she was willing to sacrifice her own life for her babies. After listening to Lily, the judge was about to go into recess, but Cane jumped up and stopped her. He asked for the suit to be dropped, saying that he loved Lily more than anything else, and wanted to respect her wishes. The judge dismissed the case and adjourned the court. A grateful Lily melted into Cane's arms and thanked him for his decision. Outside the courtroom, Lily and Mac hugged. Lily asked Mac to put aside her anger at Cane for the babies' sake. Neil came out, and Lily thanked him for supporting her. He hugged her with tears in his eyes and told her that he wished there was something he could do to protect her, and that he would lay down his own life for hers.

At the Winters' apartment, Roxanne greeted Devon with a hug. Ashley came over to comfort Neil, and was surprised to see Olivia. Ashley was sad to heart that Lily's condition had worsened. Ashley and Olivia left to give the Winters some privacy. The two old friends spent some time catching up. Liv thanked Ashley for being there for Neil. "I thank God that you're in his life!" she expressed.

Cane brought Lily home and carried her over the threshold, ecstatic to have her back in his arms. They cuddled on the couch, and Lily expressed her gratitude to Cane for all his support. They each professed their undying love for the other. Lily began feeling ill, and Cane jumped into action. He fed her some pain pills and offered to take her to the hospital. Lily refused, saying that there was nothing more doctors could do for her. She explained that she just wanted to stay at home with him, and laid her head in his lap. She began to talk about dying. "When it is time, you have to let me go," she told him tenderly. Cane began sobbing, saying that he could never let her go.

Back at the Chancellor estate, Mac was upset. "I was positive I was doing the right thing for the babies ... but now I'm not sure!" she cried. She wondered if she should go through with the amnio after all, in a last-ditch effort to save Lily's life. J.T. and Katherine were worried as Mac's face paled and she became woozy. She tried to go upstairs, but doubled over in pain.

The Winters family dealt with Lily's condition differently. Neil had flashbacks of his daughter's life, beginning with her birth and ending with giving her away at her wedding. Malcolm went to the chapel and fell to his knees in prayer. Devon went to the gym and took out his anger on the punching bag with Roxanne at his side. Olivia went to the GCAC for a drink at the bar. She pulled out her cell phone, thinking about calling Nate to tell him Lily was dying. Cane continued to clutch Lily and cried uncontrollably.

Thursday

Skye promised Adam he won't regret staying in Brazil for one last score. "Money talks," she explained. Adam retorted that Victor's money "screams." Adam stared at the picture of Sharon in the newspaper. The crooked judge showed up wanting in on the poker game. Skye took the judge to the hotel and convinced Mr. Wong to let the judge play. They all cracked jokes about fleecing the pigeon (Victor).

Michael called Victor in Brazil and told him he has been subpoenaed to testify in Nick's trial. Victor said he didn't give a damn, but Michael said it will hurt Nick's case if Victor doesn't come home. Sharon got ready to go shopping and smoke Adam out, but Victor forbid it. He ordered her to pack and meet him later by his plane.

Michael went over to Nick and Phyllis's house to tell them the DA knows Sharon went to Brazil and he thinks Nick is going to follow. "That's ridiculous -- Faith is here," responded Nick. Not to mention his wife and other daughter, snarked Phyllis. They discussed what will happen if Victor doesn't answer the subpoena. Nick called Sharon in Brazil as an angry Phyllis complained to Michael outside that she can't stand how focused Nick is on his ex-wife. Michael told her to back off. Phyllis promised to pop "five or six tranquilizers" before the trial. The police showed up to re-arrest Nick because the DA has determined him a flight risk.

Katherine and JT helped a pained Mac to the sofa as Billy entered with gifts for Delia. Mac clutched her stomach and cried out. Katherine and JT took Mac to the hospital. Cane and Lily discussed baby names and the possibility of Lily dying. Cane explained that it will be tough to share custody of the babies with Mac if he is deported back to Australia. They agreed to hash out a solution with their families. Billy showed up with the news that Mac had been taken to the hospital. Billy, Lily and Cane raced to the hospital, worried because Mac is only 7 months pregnant. Lily assured Mac she has done everything right, and was pleased to learn JT and Mac are dating. JT remarked that the hearing stressed Mac out and filled Billy in on Cane's lawsuit. Billy got the doctor to admit that stress could have brought on Mac's labor and he turned on Cane for starting it. Mac's labor intensified. The doctor ordered a C-section.

Back in Brazil, Sharon hung up the phone with Nick and opened her hotel room door to find Adam standing there. Across town, Mr. Wong introduced Skye to their mark -- Victor!

Friday

Victoria visited Nick in prison. They discussed the "criminal injustice system" that put Nick behind bars on the mistaken belief he might follow Adam to Brazil. Vicky updated Nick on her meeting with Mitzikoshi in Japan, and the new contract she got him to sign. Nick was surprised to hear Ashley and Tucker were in Japan — did JT tip Tucker off that Vicky was going? Nick didn't like that Tucker and Ashley saw Vicky's meeting with Mitzikoshi. Don't worry, she assured him, Billy kept them occupied. BILLY was there? Sharon never should have brought a sleazy gossip monger to a sensitive meeting in Japan, he scolded. Fine, spit Vicky, next time there's a crisis she will stay on her couch eating bon bons and Nick can handle it. Guard! She's outta there. Nick left a message for Sharon saying he is back in prison and really hopes she finds Adam.

My Wong "introduced" Skye to Victor. Gulp, said Skye. Skye covered that they know each other because they travel in the same circles. They played five-card draw as Skye hid cards under her skirt. Victor asked about Adam but Skye lied that he has moved on. "Sharon will be disappointed," responded Victor. Sharon is in Brazil? "Adam didn't tell you?" taunted Victor. "I'm out," said a nervous Skye. Victor followed her to the bar and said he knows Adam is here — he could tell by her reaction to the news Sharon is here. They will play again, and the winner gets Adam. Victor let Skye win the next hand, but then put all his chips on the table for the final round. Five million was too rich for Skye, but Victor told her to add the "chip that is not on the table." "All in," retorted Skye. She put down four of a kind. Victor didn't show his hand.

Sharon opened the door to Adam in Brazil. He accused her of being part of Victor's vigilante mission to track him down. Adam said he knows Sharon's feelings for him are gone. No they aren't, she responded. That's why she's here. Everyone told Sharon that Adam was only using her. How could it all have been a lie? Adam insisted his feelings were real. Sharon told Adam to prove it by turning himself in. Adam insisted he had nothing to do with killing Hightower or setting the explosion but he is never going back to Genoa City. Sharon said she didn't want to say goodbye. They kissed. If Adam could be the man she thought she married, she would stand by him. Adam said his love for Sharon will never waver. "Then let it give you the strength to do what's right," she cried. Adam's phone rang — it was Skye saying she won the poker game. Sharon called a taxi to take them to the airport, but when she turned around Adam was gone.

Everyone gathered in Mac's hospital room to wish her luck before her C-section. "You're going to be a mom," gushed Mac to Lily. Billy and JT talked about the improbability of them waiting together for babies that aren't even theirs — or Mac's. Billy admitted he didn't want Mac to have the babies back when she was his girlfriend, but now that she is JT's girlfriend that doesn't seem to be a problem. JT asked Billy to keep Reed out of Restless Style. No problem — Vicky would kill him. Lily said the doctors will save the babies' core blood to harvest stem cells which could help her chemo. Katherine praised God, saying, "Good work. Keep it up." Malcolm promised Lily he will be there for her babies. Katherine assured Neil that Malcolm will never fill the place Neil occupies in Lily's heart. Malcolm and Devon bought flowers for Lily and offered bubble gum cigars. "Pass," said Billy. Cane came out and told everyone Mac and the babies are okay. Vicky showed up and took Billy's hand. Lily and Cane greeted the babies in their incubators, and then introduced them to everyone through the glass. Meet Charlie and Matilda Ashby, beamed Cane.

"Kiss me, I'm rich!" exulted Skye to Adam back at their villa. A helicopter arrived to take them away. The judge disembarked — followed by Victor and Sharon. "What the hell have you done?" barked Adam to Skye. Turns out she lost the game and had to deliver Adam to Victor. "I'm a better cheat than you are," explained Victor. "Now it's time for the truth, Adam, and you will come with me to tell it."
