Victor held a press conference that was televised live and announced, "I'm taking the company public." Kyle mentioned to Diane that Victor was on TV. Diane explained what the press conference meant. "The company will be even bigger and better than before," she smiled.

Meanwhile, Jack, Billy, Nick, Victoria, Tucker, Ashley, Nikki, Kay and Abby gathered to view the conference. "He did this to spite us!" Victoria spat. "This is a new era for Newman Enterprises!" Victor smiled to the cameras. Jack enjoyed the proceedings, until Tucker took him aside and announced he was fired. As the insults toward Victor flew, Kay couldn't tolerate it a second more. Outraged, she defended Victor. "Shame on you, all of you!" Kay blasted and then exited, quickly followed by Nikki. "You stood up for Victor," Nikki voiced. "Not many people would do that."

Tucker appeared and asked for a moment alone with Katherine. He suggested that they immediately set forth to buy up Newman stock and take over the company. "You want me to join forces in some kind of scheme to hurt an old friend?" Kay asked. "Go to hell, Tucker!" she said before storming off.

Billy crashed the press conference and asked if Victor was taking the company public to hurt his children. Victor explained that unfortunate people misguided his children. "I love my kids," Victor insisted. "I'm very sad that they are not here to embark on this very exciting journey." When Billy tried to ask another question, Victor shot him down.

Nick went to see Diane, furious that she hadn't told him Victor was taking Newman public. When Nick accused her of wanting Victor's money, she slapped him.

Pretending to be pregnant, Jana questioned Primrose about the adoption process. Her prying triggered red flags for Primrose. When Jana asked to meet the adoptive parents, Primrose ordered her out. Jana pleaded for another chance. Prim reconsidered and wanted to set Jana up with a doctor. Jana claimed she'd already seen one earlier and assured every thing was fine. She promised to bring in her records and an ultrasound. Primrose reluctantly agreed. Later, Jana returned to Crimson Lights and pulled an ultra sound from the Internet.

Michael and a Canadian Mountie arrived at the cabin and demanded that Daniel turn over Daisy. Daniel informed them that she already escaped through a window. Michael was furious that Daniel let her escape but Daniel boasted that he placed a tracking device in her phone. Daniel claimed that Daisy would lead them straight to her baby. The men then tracked the number to an alley, where Michael found the cell phone with a text saying, "So-long, suckers!"

At the GCAC, Tucker dined with Ashley. Tucker announced he'd fired Jack, making her sole CEO of Jabot. Jack joined the party, and Abby chastised Tucker for firing her uncle. Ash told her brother that he needed to let go of his obsession with Jabot. Ashley asked Jack to trust her to take good care of Jabot.

Billy returned home, and Nick and Victoria vowed to not back down. Billy wondered why the sibs refused to let go of their vendetta against Victor. At Newman Enterprises, Heather apologized for Billy's appearance at the press conference. Kay showed up to lend Victor her support — and suggested they come up with an alternative plan. Nikki hightailed it to Newman Enterprises, bolstered by a swig of vodka. Kay found Nikki, just as Diane arrived to see her husband. Diane brought Victor champagne to share, and then dropped her trench coat.

Jana returned to Billy's to take care of the baby. She apologized for missing the christening. Just then, Primrose called Billy and chastised him for blabbing about the adoption. Billy said he didn't know what she was talking about and hung up.

Jack, Ashley, Tucker, Victoria and Nicholas all made efforts to obtain the Newman stock once it went public.

In Thailand, Phyllis realized Adam really did love Sharon. She and Adam showed up at a craps game in hopes of finding Koa. She squeezed into a sexy red dress and slithered into the gambling room where Koa was playing. “Room for one more?” Phyllis purred.

Sharon’s mom paid her a visit and was disturbed by Sharon’s commitment to Adam. Explaining she didn’t want to watch her daughter self destruct “over the man who stole your baby,” Doris said she wouldn’t be in the courtroom to support Sharon. Sharon cried as her mother left.

In the courtroom, Vance began interviewing possible jurors.

Michael and Daniel returned to Lauren and Kevin. Daniel claimed that he is still determined to find his child, and thought they could trick Daisy into leading them to the baby. Kevin wasn’t so sure Daisy still had the baby. Lauren and Michael argued about Daniel’s decision to let Daisy go. Michael realized that Daniel’s illogical plan was all a smoke screen, declaring, “He doesn’t want this baby found.” Lauren was shocked that Daniel would betray her, while Michael wished he had grabbed Daisy and put her in the trunk of his car.

Jana continued her hunt for Daisy’s baby, hoping for a second chance with Kevin. She and Chloe traded barbs, and Jana dropped her ultrasound. She claimed it was a friend’s ultrasound, but Chloe didn’t believe her and called Jana emotionally unstable, adding that she’d make sure that Victoria and Billy fire Jana.

Kevin cornered Daniel, who claimed he was concerned about his kid. Kevin didn’t know why Daniel let Daisy leave. Jana interrupted to ask, “Daniel found Daisy?” Daniel didn’t want to talk about it. Chloe told Kevin that it’s killing her that they can’t be together, then placed a call to Angelo and asked to meet him ASAP.

Olivia joined Lily and Neil for a surprise birthday lunch for Sofia. Sofia was delighted to be a part of the family and loved all her gifts. Jill and Colin joined revelers. After Lily thought she saw Cane and ran after a stranger, she retreated to the ladies room. Jill followed her and assured Lily that it was an honest mistake. Lily hoped that Cane would come back from the dead like Phillip had last year. Olivia thought Lily could be suffering from post traumatic stress and suggested professional help. She just had a momentary freak out, said a defensive Lily, and promised to tell Olivia if she “saw” Cane again. Lily looked toward the elevator and thought she saw Cane, but she lied to Olivia and Neil when they asked her if she had seen something.

Chance called Heather and asked her to come over. Nina was wary about Heather's visit and asked her son if he's made a decision about going back into Witness Protection. Meanwhile, back at the Crimson Lights, Heather told Kevin she's happy to be free and safe after her near-death experience and kidnapping debacle. She said one of her abductors is still on the loose.

At GCAC, Chloe met with Angelo on the sly to plead with him to work something out so that she can be with Kevin. He coddled his cute little pup, Viggy, that he had stowed away in a bag and insisted that he's just a big Teddy bear but had to keep Kevin in line. Later, Kevin tried not to get upset about Chloe keeping the truth about Chance from him. He was even more upset to hear that she'd gone to Angelo. She explained that Angelo isn't a real threat. Kevin called the bookie and rushed out to confront Angelo, saying that he has a flash drive that has detailed accounts of all the money that's being filtered through GloWorm. He demanded that Angelo leave Chloe alone or he will expose everything. It worked; Chloe was turned on. Kevin booked them a room.

In Thailand, Phyllis was at the craps table, where she drugged Koa's drink. She reported to Adam, who was waiting outside, and said it's only a matter of time. Koa felt woozy and realized he'd been set up by Phyllis. After he passed out, they dragged him to a hotel room and tied him to the bed. Koa woke up and was angry. Phyllis offered his freedom in exchange for the camera that proves Sharon's innocence. They finally got him to talk, but he couldn't believe that Victor had actually testified to help Sharon. When Adam said that Koa would be doing a good thing by telling them where to find the camera, he wasn't so sure. Phyllis explained they paid off housekeeping not to disturb the room and will keep Koa there as long as it takes. Adam threatened to make his life a living hell.

At Sharon's trial, Nick brought Faith to see her mom. He encouraged her to fight; she thanked him for staying. "That was a smart move," Billy told Nick on his way out of the courtroom. The state's attorney, Spencer Walsh, began his appeal to the jury and suggested that Sharon was responsible for the death of Cassie, which made Sharon lose her temper. Billy was impressed by the lawyer's approach. "Pretty theatrical," he told Nick. Sharon got nervous. After Vance gave his argument, the judge called for a break; Sharon was led away.

Heather and Chance had an awkward reunion. He apologized for what happened to her and she tried to make light of starting the fire herself. She didn't blame Chance and was just happy to move on. He then asked if they have a shot of a future together because he still loves her. She was concerned about something happening to him if he doesn't return to Witness Protection and admitted she wasn't prepared for his declaration. Meanwhile, Paul and Nina agreed they're scared for their kids and said that their reunion will only mean more trouble.

Heather reluctantly told Chance that she doesn't love him in the way he needs to be love and can't ask him to stay in Genoa City for her.... Back in Thailand, Koa said he gave the camera to a kid who sells electronics at a night market and surmised that it's long gone by now. Adam wasn't happy.

In Thailand, Phyllis and Adam were getting nowhere in their search to find the camera that could vindicate Sharon. Phyllis grew frustrated. In Genoa City, Nicholas, Billy and Victoria discussed Victor testifying, just as Phyllis called to check in with Nick.

Michael warned Victor to watch what he said on the stand in Sharon's trial. In the courtroom, the prosecutor played the damning recording of Sharon and Skye. Nick and Billy arrived to watch Victor testify. On the stand, Victor told he court that he overheard the women arguing and that Sharon tried to save Skye from falling into the volcano. Sharon's eyes told Victor she was grateful for his stepping forward and telling the truth. The prosecutor then grilled Victor about his dealings with Adam and his plotting with Skye; Victor pleaded the Fifth on everything, a maneuver the jury didn't appreciate. Vance then questioned Victor. After Victor was excused, Nick thanked his father for speaking up for Sharon. But Michael told Nick that he was not optimistic regarding Sharon's fate.

Jana, as "Stella," called Primrose and said she had all her medical records and asked when they could meet. Prim suggested now. Jana rushed Lucy home so she could attend the meeting. Jana met with Primrose and gave her the phony records. Prim noted that "Stella" was having a boy, and that she'd have no problem placing the child. Jana quizzed Prim about her black market baby operation, which annoyed the baby broker. Jana faked an abdomen pain to get Prim out of the room, then searched Primrose's desk. As she photographed some files, she dropped one and Prim entered, demanding to know what "Stella" was doing. Primrose grabbed Jana's shirt and exposed her pregnancy pad.

Daniel met with Lily at the bookstore and shared his run-in with Daisy. He explained how he let Daisy get away so she wouldn't stir up trouble for Billy and Victoria. Lily told Daniel he did the right thing. He asked about her, and she admitted to seeing Cane yet again. Daniel assured Lily that she was not crazy; Lily mentioned seeking professional help. After Daniel left, a man named Ferris who worked with Cane approached Lily and expressed his condolences. When Lily went to leave the bookstore, she found a copy of a book about communicating with the dead in her purse. Lily was puzzled how it got their, but purchased the book anyway.

Neil brought Victoria a belated christening gift. Vicki thanked Neil for coming forward at the arbitration. Neil advised Vicki that she will never get a hold of Beauty of Nature if Victor has anything to say about it. Vicki said her heart was with Beauty of nature and she had to at least try. Neil wished her well. After Neil left, Victoria pledged to Lucy that she would always be there for her daughter. Neil then met with Daniel and expressed his concern for Lily's mental health. Daniel relayed that Lily was considering seeing a shrink.

Back in Thailand, a small boy approached Phyllis and Adam with a camera and exclaimed, "Looking for this?" ... Billy came home and Victoria told him about Neil's visit.... Michael approached Daniel about his suspicions on letting Daisy go.... Lily told Neil that she believes her visions are real. Neil hugged his daughter.... Victor told Vance that he's a lousy attorney and a lousy human being.... Sharon shared with Nick that she was afraid she was going to jail. Nick assured Sharon that there was still hope, and that Phyllis and Adam were tracking a lead.... In Thailand, the boy sold Adam the camera in question, but the memory card was gone.

A beaming Chloe found Kevin at Crimson Lights, where they joked about Chloe doing "the Walk of Shame" to the Chancellor mansion. On the patio, Michael wondered if Daniel had let Daisy escape. "This is all an act," he accused. At Billy and Victoria's, they cuddled Lucy and talked about the impact of Sharon's trial on Faith. They were certain they'd have Lucy forever! After texts from the trial, Billy kissed Victoria and Lucy and headed off to court. Elsewhere, the jig was up for Jana. Primrose wondered what she was trying to pull. Jana admitted she's looking for a baby, but Primrose has nothing to fear. When Primrose reached for her phone, Jana shoved her and fled. At Crimson Lights, Kevin and Chloe wondered what was going on with Michael and Daniel, and Michael reiterated his suspicions. Daniel insisted he's just trying to do right by his daughter.Meanwhile, Jana let herself into her apartment, tossed aside her pregnancy padding and began writing down a bunch of numbers she'd managed to snag from Primrose. She soon showed up at the coffeehouse to ask Kevin for help figuring out the numbers. Chloe left them to the task and made a beeline to Victoria. She warned Victoria that Jana is going off the rails and "our children are not safe with her." Victoria refused to listen. Meanwhile, Kevin discovered that the numbers were bank account numbers...and the viewers saw that one of them is Billy's!

Lily met up with Lauren at the GCAC. Over salads, Lily talked to Lauren about seeking therapy. Lauren suggested Dr. Mason and talked to Lily about her own coping mechanisms for grief. "It's okay to ask for help," she noted. Lily made a call to set up an appointment. Lauren approved and then the gals went off for a shopping trip. Later, they ended up at Crimson Lights, where Michael and Daniel were still arguing. Michael warned Daniel he isn't done explaining things. When Phyllis got back, he'd just have more questions to answer. Daniel shrugged that off. An irate Lauren wasn't having it! She lambasted Daniel for taking the "easy way out." Lily tried to defend Daniel but he said it was okay to let Michael and Lauren believe whatever they wanted to.

In court, Vance admitted to the judge that his next two witnesses were delayed. The unamused judge called a recess, and Sharon and Nick traded tense looks. They conferred with Vance about the evidence Adam and Phyllis were hoping to find. Vance told them they needed a "Hail Mary Pass." Leslie then told them that their two witnesses were detained due to a triple homicide they were investigating. Their only recourse? Putting Sharon on the stand. Nick and Leslie weren't so hot on the idea, pointing out that Sharon is an easy target. But there was no time! The recess was over and Vance called Sharon to the stand. He asked her all about Skye and Hawaii. In faux Thailand, Adam and Phyllis were still on the case, trying to find the camera's memory card...without much success. Phyllis suggested they try a "Plan B." Adam insisted there wasn't one and proceeded to flip out. Luckily, Phyllis' cooler head prevailed and they went looking for Koa. Too bad Koa was gone! In court, Sharon insisted she wasn't a "vindictive, jealous monster" and that she'd gone to Hawaii to help someone she loves. Things seemed to be going her way, and then it was time for Spencer Walsh's cross-examination. He easily reduced Sharon to tears, and the judge recessed for the day.
