Young and Restless Recaps

Y&R Week of November 22, 2010

Monday

Victoria and Billy went to the G.C.A.C. She prayed that J.T would allow Reed to come home for Thanksgiving. Chloe called Billy from Restless Style and warned him that advertisers hated the Skye issue. Phyllis and Jack ran into them and Billy told her that there were some problems at the magazine. He wanted to do an article on Daisy, but she refused.

Victoria and Jack discussed Victor. She feared that her father would want payback for the lawsuit. Jack correctly assumed that the Newmans wouldn't be celebrating Thanksgiving together and invited her and Billy over. She turned him down, explaining that she and Billy wanted to do their own thing.

At Newman Enterprises, Michael was surprised when Victor revealed that he'd invested in Adam and Skye's hedge fund. Vic explained that when he pulled his money out, the fund would collapse, and Skye, Adam and Jack would go down with it. Michael didn't think this was a good idea, but Victor was determined to go through with it. Michael called the plan revenge, but Victor corrected that it was "justice." ... Adam found Skye in their suite. She was enthusiastic about the fund, but he wanted to walk away for good. He handed her legal papers giving her his half of the fund. Skye was furious. "You don't get to walk away — not from me!" she yelled.

Nick was upset with Sharon's decision to go off on her own for Thanksgiving. "Are you sorry that you accepted my proposal?" he asked. Sharon replied that she wasn't; he wondered why she was leaving now. She explained that they were moving very quickly and she needed a break. Nick still didn't get it. She flashed back to stealing the bracelet and noted that she needed the distance. "You're running. The question is, from what?" Nick pointed out. She reminded him of everything they've lost over the years and didn't want to lose herself again. "It's still a huge step and I need to know that it's absolutely forever this time," she said. "I would never leave unless this were absolutely important."

Jack got a call from his broker that the Newman Fund was down a significant number of points. Jack realized that Victor was behind the drop.... Adam presented Skye with divorce papers. Skye went ballistic and called him an "idiot," reminding him that Sharon is with Nick. "You are never getting rid of me — not ever!" she shrieked.... Jack stormed into Victor's office and demanded to know what Newman was up to. Victor stated that he wanted to inflict pain on Adam and didn't care about Jack's money. Jack tried to go onto the computer, but Victor had him blocked from accessing the fund. Michael excused himself while Jack called his investor and lamented that he was losing millions. Victor accused Jack of turning Victoria and Abby against him and said that this is why he was getting revenge. Jack shot back that Victor's daughters reject everything that he stands for. "Maybe your daughters are using me to get away from you," Jack seethed, and warned that they'd nail him in the suit. Victor demanded that Abbott leave his office. Jack called his broker once more and planned to buy up the rest of the Newman Fund, vowing to bring it back to life.... A frantic Skye spoke with her broker about the fund falling apart. She went up to the suite and looked at the fund online, vowing to fix it. Adam didn't seem to care, but she implored him to do something. He just shrugged her off. "The fund is dead," she later told him and accused him of sabotaging it. He denied it. "I have nothing now!" she yelled and stated that she owns him. Adam warned that if she pushes him too far, he'll snap.

Billy and Phyllis went to Restless Style, where Chloe read them the riot act for putting psychos on the cover. She agreed with Phyllis that putting Daisy on the cover was a bad idea. Phyllis didn't want to exploit her son. Billy coldly reminded her that it's his magazine and implored Phyllis to find a better story. After, Phyllis ran into Nick at Crimson Lights and they made small talk about Summer. Nick admitted that he and Sharon might not be announcing their engagement on Thanksgiving because Sharon was going out of town. Phyllis guessed that this had something to do with Adam. After Nick left, Michael entered and Phyllis filled him in on the Nick and Sharon drama. He then told her about what Jack was going through. Phyllis guessed that Victor was behind it, but Michael wouldn't confirm it. Phyllis left Jack a message saying to call her if he needed her. Adam soon arrived and Phyllis gave her condolences on the Newman Fund. "I'm touched," he said. Phyllis continued to taunt him and shared that Sharon and Nick's engagement announcement has been put on hold. She kept talking at him, but he didn't reply. "It's her business," Adam finally said regarding Sharon, but Phyllis not-so-subtly tried to encourage him to go after his ex.

Victoria was devastated when J.T refused to let her have Reed for the holiday. Billy asked Chloe if Delia could spend Thanksgiving with them. Chloe pointed out that it was her family's first holiday without Chance and noted they can't just exchange one kid for another. Billy suggested to Victoria that they just push Thanksgiving back, but she was determined to celebrate, anyway.

Nick asked Sharon if she was leaving because she has feelings for Adam, but she denied it. Nick then wondered if it had to do with him. She replied that she was just taking the trip for herself and would be home soon. Nick begged her to stay put and declared his love for her. He was sure that they could make it work this time, but she wasn't as certain. He finally understood why she needed to leave and promised that when she returns, everything would be "amazing."

Tuesday

Lily complained to Cane that he seemed to be doing the work of two employees over at Tucker's office. Soon, Neil arrived with several Thanksgiving pies, followed by Malcolm and Sofia, who brought the wine. Blake stopped by and Lily invited him for dinner. Blake turned her down, but Neil insisted that he stay. Cane wasn't happy to see his "mate" there. Everyone asked Cane why he'd been working so hard and Blake took the blame. Neil and Sofia then bantered about whose mother made the better gravy. When they had a moment alone, Cane demanded that Blake leave, but Blake replied that this was now his family, too.... In the kitchen, Neil and Sofia had a "gravy challenge." As they cooked, her bracelet was caught in his sweater and for a moment, there was a bit of tension between them. Later, they presented their gravies to the crowd. Mal took Neil aside and shared that he was suspicious of Blake. When it was time for dinner, Lily had everyone say what he or she was thankful for. She, of course, was thankful for her health, her babies and her husband. Cane was thankful for his family being together and safe. Sofia was thankful to the Winters for making her feel like part of the family, while Mal was thankful for the chance to get close to his family again. Lily asked Blake to say something and he stated that he was thankful to have made some "friends" for life.

At the Chancellor Estate, Kay, Nina, Murphy, Paul, Esther, Heather, Kevin and Chloe celebrated Thanksgiving. Heather was sure that Ronan would show up. Chloe and Heather tried to be civil. Jill briefly joined them and shared that she had to work at Fenmore's. Kay wished she'd stick around and Jill happily accepted the invite. Heather again stated that Ronan was going to arrive and Chloe wondered why Heather seemed to know so much about him. Kevin interrupted them before a fight broke out. Heather called Ronan and threatened to tell Nina that he's sick. Just then, the doorbell rang and it was Ronan. Nina was thrilled to see him. Heather smiled smugly, while Chloe glared. Jill and Chloe addressed the elephant in the room and reminded everyone that Ronan had "killed" Chance. Kay implored everyone to get along. Paul then announced that Heather is going to be working with Michael. Chloe still wouldn't let the matter about Chance drop. "This is fun," Ronan sarcastically whispered to Heather, but Heather noted how happy Nina seemed. She pressed him to tell Nina that he's sick, but he refused. Chloe wondered what they were discussing and Kevin asked why she cared. Later, Ronan apologized to Chloe for "shooting" Chance, but she said that she could never forgive him. Ronan then got a call from work and had to leave. He thanked Kay and Nina for inviting him. Nina was sorry to see him go, but was glad that he'd shown up. Kay was optimistic that Nina would be able to forge a relationship with her son.... Kay called Kevin out on falling for Chloe, but he denied it.... Jill and Nina discussed how happy they were that Lily was through with chemo and noted how awful it would be to deal with a life-threatening disease without a support system. Heather's face clouded over as she thought of Ronan.... Chloe told Kevin that she's thankful for his friendship. Kay later asked everyone to hold hands and gave thanks for her loved ones and friends.

Abby stopped by the Newman Ranch and tentatively wished Victor a happy Thanksgiving. He invited her in and she reminded him that family is supposed to be together for the holiday. He was glad that she came and he offered her a belated birthday gift — an olive branch. They discussed Victoria and he blamed Billy for getting in the way of their relationship. He noted that Abby was trying to be reasonable during the litigation for the lawsuit and it was Victoria, Vance and Jack who'd talked her out of taking his offer. Abby said that she's not sure she's ready to drop the suit, but Victor said that his offer was still available. Abby agreed to consider it. He later got an urgent call, but before leaving shared a hug with his daughter.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack continued to talk to his broker about buying up the remains of the Newman Fund so that he could save it for the investors he'd dragged into it. Tucker soon came by to see Ashley and gave his condolences to Jack about the fund collapsing — and knew all about Jack having teamed up with Victor. Jack admitted that Victor had pulled out his money, destroying the fund. Ashley was upset for her brother. She asked if Jack had gone after Adam because of her and he confirmed it. He was certain that he could salvage the fund and went to see Skye. Ashley noted to Tucker that whenever they get involved with Victor, they end up paying for it. Jake went to the G.C.A.C to speak with Skye, but found her suite trashed. "Call the police," he ordered the maid. Victor soon arrived at the scene, followed by Ronan. Ronan shared that blood had been found in the room. Jack feared that Adam had killed Skye and blamed Victor for causing it. Ronan took both in for questioning.

Abby went to see her mom and Ashley filled her in on how Victor had tricked Jack. She admitted to Tucker that her father always lets her down. Later, Abby called Victor and told him off — and turned down his offer.

Wednesday

Phyllis called Daniel and lamented that she'd destroyed the Thanksgiving turkey. They were prepared to order Chinese when someone knocked on her door; it was Nick, with the kids. He and Summer invited her to dinner and she agreed. Phyllis wondered if Victor was going to join them and Nick replied that his dad was busy.

At the station, Victor and Jack were questioned by Ronan about Skye's suite getting trashed. Jack told Ronan to blame Victor for causing Skye's possible murder and explained how Victor had caused the Newman Fund to collapse. Victor implored Ronan to find Adam. Ronan then got a report that the blood found in the suite wasn't Adam's. Jack concluded that it was Skye's and recalled hearing Adam threaten to kill his wife.

Lauren, Michael and Fen entered Crimson Lights, with Lauren lamenting that their trip had been a bust. Fen asked if they could have turkey and Michael suggested that they celebrate with his family. At Gloworm, Gloria was disappointed that Michael had planned to go out of town, but Jeffrey reminded her that they had a lot to be grateful for. Soon, Chloe, Kevin and Delia arrived to join them for Thanksgiving.

Victoria and Billy — donning an apron — set their table for Thanksgiving dinner. Victoria shot a "blackmail" pic of her hubby. She noted that they were making too much food for two people. He suggested that they bring some to Nikki, but Victoria replied that Nikki was probably eating better food in the fancy rehab. She added that her mother would be released soon. Victoria was still upset about Reed not being there, but Billy cheered her up by chasing her around and making her try his sweet potatoes. After, she served him her green beans and recalled how at the last Thanksgiving, Summer had stuffed the turkey with crayons. Billy was optimistic that they'd have kids for the next holiday. They toasted each other. Later, Billy went to get the pie and returned with a surprise: a laptop so Victoria could speak with Reed via Skype. She was thrilled. Victoria then called Chloe and asked if she could bring Delia by for just a little while, but Chloe refused.

Daniel, Noah, Nick, Phyllis, Summer and Faith went to Gloworm for dinner. Noah asked if Daniel was really the father of Daisy's baby. Daniel grumbled that it seemed to be true. The Baldwins then arrived. Phyllis revealed that she wanted Daisy to move into her home, which angered Lauren. Phyllis got a call from Jack about Adam and Skye. Nick went with her and Lauren urged Michael to go, as well. He promised to make it up to his family.... Kevin told Daniel that he thought it was a bad idea to give up his kid for adoption.... In jail, poor, sad Daisy was served gray turkey. "Guess I need to feed you," she said aloud to her fetus and forced herself to eat the unappetizing food.... At the club, Jeffrey told the gang awful jokes. The talk turned back to Daisy. Chloe understood why Kevin wanted to raise the baby, but Gloria hoped that her son would come to his senses. Kevin reminded Daniel that the baby is his family, too, but Daniel didn't think his pal could raise a baby by himself. Kevin was prepared to fight him. After, Chloe confided in Kevin about how Billy was bugging her for time with Delia. Kevin shared that he feels bad for Daisy's baby. Lauren and Daniel agreed that the baby should be given up for adoption and that Daisy should stay in jail. Daniel explained to Noah that he wants the kid to have a normal life, away from her crazy family. Kevin visited Daisy in jail and offered to be the child's legal guardian. Daisy didn't think that he was for real, but he asked her to consider it.

Chloe surprised Victoria and Billy by bringing Delia over and agreed to let the little girl spend the night. Billy realized that Victoria was responsible for setting it up and thanked her.

Phyllis, Nick and Michael arrived at the station and Jack announced that Victor had taken down the Newman Fund. Nick asked his dad what he was up to; Victor replied that his plan had been to ruin Adam and he just happened to take down Jack, as well. Nick was relieved that Sharon was out of town so Adam wouldn't play on her feelings. Victor hoped they'd find Adam soon before someone else got hurt. Phyllis shared that she'd heard Adam threaten Skye, as well. Ronan was ready to treat the case as a homicide. Nick went to warn Sharon that Adam was somewhere out there by himself. Victor later shared that he was going to visit satellite offices of Newman around the world. Nick got a call that Sharon's phone had been found on a train to New Orleans. He feared that Adam had followed her.... When no one was looking, Ronan took his medication.

Victor returned home and found Nikki waiting for him. He didn't want to talk to her and stormed upstairs.... Jack and Phyllis went to her place, where they discussed Adam. She sensed that a good story was in the making.

In New Orleans, Sharon entered an ornate-looking hotel in the French Quarter called The Cornstalk and got a room. The clerk shared some stories about the hotel and added that the place is haunted. Sharon didn't look pleased, but did enjoy hearing the stories about the hotel and said that this get-away was exactly what she needed.... Nick prepared to search for Sharon. Lauren suggested that Michael go with him since he knows the city. Lauren revealed that Sharon had begun stealing again. Nick vowed to find her before Adam did.... In the hotel, Sharon jumped when she heard a noise. Meanwhile, Adam approached the hotel.
