Monday

After summoning Nick to the G.C.A.C., Katherine explained that she was taking 25 percent of Chancellor Industries public and offering a very select group of friends and colleagues, the Newmans included, a chance at buying some shares. Nick was honored but Kay also mentioned that she still had to wait for the S.E.C.'s approval. Nick said he would talk over the possible stock purchase with his family and get back to her.

Billy told Ashley that he would be working at the magazine on Thanksgiving. Later, a lonely Billy bought a drink for a woman named Kelly at Indio. She said she was kindergarten teacher in New York City and he fibbed that he teaches junior high history. After some small talk, Billy and Kelly decided to have sex. After, Kelly admitted she works in publishing and used to see Billy around Manhattan at the clubs. She was curious to see if those rumors about him were true and bragged, "Now I know." Billy tried to get her to stay but she left.

Adam covered his panic when he saw Faith in Sharon's arms. He suggested that she put Faith to bed and they call it a night. Sharon was a little confused by his reaction but agreed. After Sharon left, Ashley came home and urged Adam to go after the woman he cares about. Meanwhile, Sharon returned to her empty house.

Phyllis told Jack that she confessed their one night stand to Nick. Phyllis explained that Patty saw them together, which incited the wacko to harm Summer. Nick came home and Jack apologized for Summer getting hurt because of his actions. Nick said it was time that they all moved forward but he didn't want to throw in with Jack about the Chancellor IPO. Nick also lamented that he could never trust Jack again and that their relationship is beyond repair. After Jack left, Nick filled in Phyllis on Kay offering him Chancellor stock to buy.

After observing Chloe's joyful reaction when Bill and Mac broke up, Chance confronted her about still having feelings for her ex. She insisted she didn't, but Chance wasn't convinced and turned in. Kay came home and Chloe related her latest romantic snag with Chance. Kay advised Chloe to lose the flippant attitude and to be honest with Chance about her feelings. Later, Chloe apologized to Chance for not reassuring him that she valued their relationship. Chance got frisky but Chloe put the brakes on because he was still recovering from surgery.

Murphy came home from his fishing trip and Kay caught him up to speed on Phillip returning to Australia.... A dejected Jack, still smarting from his encounter with Nick, discussed Thanksgiving plans with Ashley. Nick looked forward to a hassle-free holiday dinner with Phyllis and Summer but sans Adam. Adam showed up at Sharon's house and confessed that "friends" is not what he would call them. He then surprised Sharon with a passionate kiss!

Tuesday

As Thanksgiving arrived in Genoa City, Adam turned down Ashley's invite to join the Abbotts for turkey dinner. He silently recalled his kiss with Sharon and contemplated calling her. Across town, Sharon was thinking of it, too. She hugged Noah and sent him off to Nick's for the holiday.

At the GCAC, Jack saw Emily and insisted she come to dinner at his house. That afternoon, Emily arrived, eager to watch the Packers game. Jack was impressed she was a football fan, and noted it was a rough Thanksgiving without Colleen.

At the tack house, Phyllis was nervous about hosting her first Thanksgiving but played it safe by ordering everything ahead of time. Victoria, J.T. and Reed surprised the Newmans by showing up ‹ and saying that they weren't returning to New York. J.T. explained that his new boss would be setting up shop in G.C. Nick could see things were tense between his sister and brother-in-law. For a moment, Nick flashed back to Sharon losing their baby. Afterward, Nick proposed a toast. "To second chances," he smiled. Phyllis pulled the turkey out of the oven and found that Summer had slipped her crayons into the stuffing. Phyllis started to cry.

At the Chancellor mansion, Jill was angry that Esther served pigs in a blanket. "Murphy likes them," she shot back. Family and friends gathered and Chance mentioned that Phillip had arrived safely in Sydney. Billy was caught off guard when Mac showed up. She was happy Billy would be seeing Jack later. The family was thrilled when Phillip called to check in. Paul showed up at the door and told Jill that Charlotte couldn't be found. When Kay and
Nina saw him, Jill lied and said Paul was there as her date. Paul joined the gang and Murphy proposed a toast to his lovely bride, Kay. Everyone voiced what they were thankful for and Chloe inadvertently spilled about Mac's surrogacy plans. Mac walked out of the room and Billy left. Kay counseled a confused Mac. In the living room, Jill fretted what the surrogacy would do to Billy. Then, Nina pulled Paul aside and demanded to know what was going in. Paul admitted he and Jill weren't dating. Nina figured out that Jill had hired Paul. Jill was furious. Paul then wondered if Nina was jealous. She denied it, so Paul pulled Nina into a kiss.

Nick called to invite Ashley and the girls to dinner, but they had other plans. Adam wasn't surprised that Nick didn't extend the invitation to his black sheep brother. Just then, Sharon called and invited him over.

Ashley and Abby arrived at the Abbott house. Abby was nursing a big chip on her shoulder due to her dual loss of Brad and Colleen. Ashley met Emily and was unnerved by her resemblance to Patty. Billy arrived as Jack prepared to carve the turkey. Jack proposed a toast. "To family," he proclaimed. As dinner progressed, Abby got up and left; Ash and the baby went after her. Emily had to take a call and when Jack and Billy had words, Billy left.

Adam arrived at Sharon's, where she was serving pasta primavera. They shared holiday stories from their pasts. Adam admitted he was thankful for meeting her.... Jill told Mac that she thought what she was considering was very brave. Mac was shocked.... Back at the ranch, Ashley made no headway with Abby, who left to meet friends.... Jack lamented about his fractured family to John's photo. Emily returned but had to head to the hospital. Jack kissed her on the cheek, then returned to the empty table and ate alone.

Wednesday

Michael, Fen and Eden returned to the Baldwin home from delivering Thanksgiving meals to the needy. Lauren, Gloria and Jeffrey welcomed them to the party. Eden turned up her nose at the "too expensive" caviar that Glo and Jeff offered her. Jana arrived — sans Kevin. She announced that he had refused to come without Ryder. Michael and Lauren went to the coffeehouse to extend a reluctant invitation to Ryder. Michael joked about setting "rat traps" around the apartment. Kevin convinced Ryder to accept the invitation, citing Lauren's "delicious food" as the determining factor. Lauren spied Daisy all alone, and invited her as well. They all went back home together, and Jana was immediately uncomfortable upon Ryder's arrival. Lauren introduced Daisy to Gloria and Jeffrey. Eden bristled at Daisy. More awkwardness ensued when Daniel and Amber joined the party and encountered Ryder. Despite the uneasiness, Lauren stood up and made a toast. "Play nice!" she instructed. Noah arrived, explaining that he was still hungry since Phyllis's turkey had been "colorful". He and Eden cuddled. Daniel pulled Michael aside and asked about his legal situation now that Ryder had been cleared. They agreed that Ryder was shady and hiding things. A process server arrived with a grand jury subpoena for Daniel. Ryder whispered to Daisy that he was afraid someone would find out that she had been the person in red light photo with him. Daisy reassured him that nobody would find out if they were careful.

Ashley and baby Faith cuddled alone on the couch at the Newman Ranch. Ashley was sad about Abby's behavior and lamented that they were all alone on a holiday that used to be filled with family. Meanwhile, Jack — alone in the Abbott dining room — spoke to his dad's spirit. He got inspired, and left to go volunteer.

The spirit of giving was alive and well at Indigo, where the Winters clan was busy packing up food for the homeless shelter. Billy arrived and asked Lily how he could help. The two former lovers reminisced about Colleen as they packed boxes. Ashley and baby Faith arrived at Indigo, with Ashley announcing her desire to help with the volunteer effort. The mood was jovial until Mac walked in and spied Billy. Everyone put their differences aside for the sake of volunteering, as Colleen would have wanted. Jack arrived to join in the effort. Lily and Mac shared their enthusiasm about the surrogacy with everyone. Mac told Lily that she had already started her shots, so everything would start happening quickly. Ashley and Billy left. Neil checked his list, and realized that Phyllis had forgotten to drop off the rolls. Jack called Phyllis, who sent JT to Indigo with the rolls. When JT arrived at Indigo, he and Mac were happy to see one another. He explained that his new job had transferred him back to GC. Cane was ecstatic at the news that his friend was back. Mac shared her surrogacy news with JT, who was very supportive and wished her the best. Mac blushed as she basked in JT's attention. Everyone was relieved that the hard work was over for the day, and decided to stay and eat some leftovers. Neil stood and thanked everyone for their generous support. Everyone held hands while Neil said a prayer for the troops and thanked his family - including Cane. They all remembered their departed loved ones, such as Dru, Colleen and Brad.

At the tack house, Phyllis made a toast to everyone in the room and everything they all had to be thankful for. Victoria got Phyllis alone in the kitchen and asked her how Nick was holding up after the loss of his and Sharon's baby. Phyllis explained that it was very awkward for her to discuss it with Nick, since the baby was conceived when Nick had cheated on her. But Vicky warned her that if he couldn't talk to her, then he might go elsewhere. Later, when everyone had left, Phyllis grabbed Nick and said that there was somewhere they needed to go; that there was something she thought he needed to do. She took him to the Abbott cabin, where he and Sharon had scattered the baby's ashes, stating that he needed to grieve the loss of his daughter. She told him that she was not threatened anymore and that she needed to be the one he grieved with. Nick sadly remembered the day that he and Sharon had put their baby to rest. Just then, Ashley and Faith arrived and startled Nick.

Billy was cuddling baby Delia at the coffeehouse when Victoria and Reed arrived. Reed and the baby played with each other as Billy and Victoria realized that they were both alone on Thanksgiving.

At Sharon's, she and Adam finished up their non-traditional Thanksgiving meal. They joked about who would do the dishes. They discussed how special Adam's mother, Hope, had been. Adam was surprised to learn that Sharon had known her. Adam squirmed as Sharon praised Hope for raising him to be such a heartfelt and good person. Adam confessed that he was worried about how Sharon would react after he had planted a kiss on her. She responded that she had been surprised, but wasn't angry. She said that she would let him know if she ever felt uncomfortable, but that actually the kiss had been nice. The two agreed that because neither of them had a lot of friends, they should cherish their newfound friendship with each other. As Adam was leaving, Sharon pulled him into a kiss. Jack arrived with a bag of food for Sharon at just that moment, and was taken aback as he observed the kiss.
