Monday

Billy and Victoria went to the hospital to see how Murphy was. Katherine was grateful for their support. Suddenly, she saw the doctors rushing to Murphy's room and was horrified to learn that something was wrong. Meanwhile, Meggie lurked outside the Newman Ranch and thought back to injecting an unconscious Murphy with a needle. "One hassle down, one to go," she said aloud as she eyed Nikki and Victor through the window.

Inside the ranch, Nikki suggested to Victor that they elope since the family is in such disarray. Victor wanted to postpone the nuptials, but Nikki wanted to get married right away. He agreed to it since it meant so much to her. Meggie entered and Nikki gave her the good news about the elopement. Meggie feigned enthusiasm. Nikki headed to the hospital, while Victor called Victoria and left a message, asking if they could talk. On her way to see Murphy and Kay, Nikki stopped by Gloworm to thank Deacon for getting her home the other day. He got her to admit that she'd been drunk and she confided that the urge to drink came out of the blue. Deacon encouraged her to seek a friend to talk to and was willing to be said pal. He also noted that Victor would probably want to help, but Nikki feared that Victor wouldn't want to marry her. As they talked, Meggie lurked behind them and listened.

Billy tried to comfort a shaken Kay. The doctor emerged from Murphy's room and reported that he was stable, but still unconscious. When she went to see him, the doctor told Billy and Victoria that Murphy had had another heart attack and possibly a stroke. Kay and Billy sat with Murphy and the doctor suggested to her that they put her husband on life support. Kay was now faced with a very difficult decision and left the room so she could think.

Victoria called Victor and he explained that their rift is hurting Nikki. She relented and agreed to meet him at the G.C.A.C. There, he asked if they could stop talking about money and urged her to work out their differences for Nikki's sake. Victoria replied that he doesn't trust her judgment. "I hate all of this discord," he said sincerely and asked if they could make amends. "You always have the final word and we've always gone along with that," Victoria sighed. "The only thing you expect from us in return is complete submission and I'm not going to do that anymore." She declared her love for Billy and accused Victor of wanting her to be miserable so she'll stay under his thumb; she then refused to drop the lawsuit. Victor was extremely disappointed.

Meggie joined Nikki at Gloworm to discuss wedding plans. Meggie noted that some booze was missing at the ranch, but Nikki didn't want to talk about it. Meggie then ordered drinks for them and had some alcohol put into Nikki's iced tea. Deacon caught her in the act and grabbed Nikki's iced tea before she could drink it. Meggie stared daggers at him. After, Deacon asked Meggie what she's up to and she lied that she mixed up the glasses. Deacon didn't buy it. "What's your angle?" he wondered and concluded that she wants to take Nikki's place. Meggie warned that he'd better not say anything. Deacon replied that not only would he keep her secret, but he wanted in on the scheme! His plan was to "comfort" Nikki, while Meggie "comforts" Victor. Meggie liked it and agreed to let him join her. Nikki interrupted and said that they had to get to the hospital to see Murphy right away.

Diane returned to Genoa City and said hello to Jack and Phyllis. "Why are you here?" Jack asked. "I thought I'd say hello," she shrugged. Phyllis suggested that Diane return to Toronto and call them instead. However, Jack invited her inside, to Phyllis's chagrin. "When the vampire comes to your door, you do not invite them in; you get out your wooden stake," she snapped. Ha! Diane shared that Kyle is in town and told Jack that he and his son can catch up. Phyllis accused her of using Kyle to "yank Jack around," but Diane wished that she could make up for cutting Kyle out of Jack's life. Phyllis didn't buy it, but Jack was pleased to get time with his son. After Diane left, Phyllis warned Jack, "If you buy any of her crap, I swear to you, I will torch this house myself." "History is not going to repeat itself," he assured her. Phyllis called Diane "evil." Jack smiled and noted that Phyllis is sexy when she's angry — and promised that if Diane acts out of line, he could handle it.

Victor was surprised when Diane greeted him at the club. He asked why she was back. "It was time," she replied. "I just followed my heart." She coyly asked if he was available. He chuckled and replied that he's about to marry Nikki again.

Kay visited the hospital chapel and said aloud that she can't make the choice about Murphy. "Take this choice from me," she pleaded. "Make him better. He's a good man and you need a good man walking the face of your earth." Billy joined her and she asked if he could make the decision. He noted that they went through this with John, but Kay wasn't ready to say good-bye to Murphy, knowing that she was the one who chose to take him off of life support. Later, Kay asked the doctor what Murphy's chances are and he wasn't sure. He noted that it was really up to Kay to decide what to do. Kay wanted some time alone with her husband.... Victoria returned to the hospital and felt badly for Kay. She filled in Billy about her meeting with Victor and admitted that she'd almost given in. They then looked in on Kay and Murphy. "Promise me you're never going to die?" Victoria whispered to Billy. He tenderly kissed her forehead.... Kay held an unconscious Murphy's hand and spoke to him. "I'm losing you, bit by bit," she cried. Nikki, Meggie, Victoria and Billy later joined her and Kay declared Murphy to be "one hell of a man." She was about to make her choice — and his eyes opened!

Tuesday

At the hospital, Murphy's eyes opened and Katherine implored him to relax. Meggie eyed him nervously, while Nikki tried to keep Kay calm. The doctor arrived and Kay asked if Murphy was really conscious. The doctor explained that Murphy couldn't move or speak, but was aware of everything going on around him. Kay spoke to Murphy as if everything were normal. Jack and Ashley visited and Kay told them about Murphy's condition. Kay noted that he could blink once for yes and twice for no. Victor then visited and ran into the Abbotts in the lobby. Victor wondered where Nikki was, but they hadn't seen her. Jack informed him that Diane was in town and accused Victor of bringing her home, as he had with Patty. Victor denied it and insisted that he didn't know why Diane was in Genoa City. After, Victor went to see Murphy and Kay.

Victoria and Ashley talked about Billy, and what he's going through. Victoria was concerned that her husband kept shutting her out. Ashley was sorry to hear about Victoria's miscarriage and urged her to give Billy some time. In the chapel, Billy was visited by Ghost John. John pointed out that Billy has made progress in his life by not running to Jimmy's bar when he was dealing with bad news. Ashley soon joined him and gave her condolences about the baby. She admitted that while it hurts to see Faith, she's at peace with the situation. Billy confided that when he saw Murphy, it made him think about their father. Victoria later arrived at the chapel and Ashley left so that they could be alone. Billy apologized for being distant and she promised that she's not going anywhere. "Tell me what you need," she said. "How about you just come home with me?" he answered. Later, they went home and had beers. Victoria noted that people deal with grief in different ways, and he likes to be alone. "I can't really do that anymore," he realized. "I'm not alone anymore. I want to do it all with you." She assured him that she's "all in." They then relaxed and watched old sitcoms together. Billy suggested that they again try to make a baby; Victoria agreed by kissing him passionately.

Sofia and Neil discussed business at Gloworm, then went to a meeting at Tucker's office. They didn't want to work without Kay, but Tucker stated that they had to take care of business, even if Kay wasn't there. After, Sofia asked if Neil wanted to have dinner before getting to work and he angrily complained about her and Tucker, and the company. Sofia noted that no matter what she says, Neil always slams her. Neil apologized for treating her badly. They later dined on Italian food and discussed Cane. Neil suggested that they hire his son-in-law for PR because it would save them money. Sofia thought it was a great idea.

Nikki went to Gloworm for a drink and Deacon called Meggie to let her know. Diane ran into Nikki at the bar and they were less than thrilled to see each other. "What are you doing here?" Nikki asked. "Having a drink," Diane replied. Nikki lied that she was getting dinner to go and wanted to know why Diane is in town. Diane lamented that all of the good men are taken and couldn't understand why Nikki was so suspicious of her. Nikki reminded her how Diane had attempted to steal Victor's sperm and then tried to pass off Kyle as being Victor's son. Diane questioned Nikki about her upcoming wedding and Nikki retorted that Diane isn't on the guest list. Diane warned that with Victor, one slip-up and Nikki would be out. Nikki called Diane bitter and wondered how much she's damaged Kyle. Diane spat back that Nikki's a drunk who sent her kids to boarding school — while she's raised Kyle all on her own. "You may not have reached bottom yet, but you're damn close," Diane sneered before storming out. A shaken Nikki sank into a booth and ordered a vodka tonic.

After leaving Gloworm, Diane called Jack, informing him that she has a surprise for him. Ghost John visited Jack at the Abbott mansion and warned that Diane's "surprise" might mean trouble. Jack hoped that she'd allow Kyle to be back in his life so he could be a good father. John implored him not to let Diane pull him into a dark path. Diane soon rang the bell and gave Jack his surprise, which was indeed a visit from Kyle. Jack was thrilled and asked if they could have a guys' night. Diane agreed. Kyle noticed a photo of John and Jack told him all about his late father. Ghost John watched them, concern etched on his face. Later, Diane ran into Tucker at the G.C.A.C and introduced herself to him.

Victor returned home to the Newman ranch and asked Meggie where Nikki was. Meggie pretended to not know, then admitted that she's been keeping something from him. She revealed that she found some empty liquor bottles and believed that someone was drinking his booze.... Deacon found a drunken Nikki at the Gloworm bar and she slurred that she didn't want a pep talk from him. Deacon then joined her for a drink. "What do you know?" Nikki chuckled, surprised by his change of heart.

Wednesday

Meggie showed Victor the emptied liquor bottles she found stashed around the ranch. He asked if she ever mentioned this to anyone and she admitted bringing it to Nikki's attention but was told not to worry about it. After Meggie excused herself, Victor tried calling Nikki, who didn't answer. Victor asked Meggie where Nikki could be and he was surprised to hear that she goes to Gloworm often.

A stranger showed up at Gloworm and asked to speak to Jeffrey. Gloria became suspicious when Jeff wouldn't identify him. The guy, Hogan, then informed Jeff that his drop was late and that Kevin hasn't been responding to his text messages. Jeff explained that he needed to collect one last bet and the drop will happen. Hogan also reminded that last week's delivery was a little short and needed to be made up with interest. Jeff assured everything will be rectified tonight. Jeff then frantically called Kevin and told him to make the drop but Kev said he was on a date. Jeff huffed that he will text further details later.

A hungover Nikki woke up in Deacon's seedy motel room. She worried that Victor would never marry her if he knew she is drinking again. Nikki berated herself for getting to this place again and Deacon suggested they lean on each other since no one else understands them. After Nikki left, Deacon returned to Gloworm, where Victor soon showed up in search of Nikki. Deacon said she left a while ago after having club soda.

At Gloworm, Phyllis asked when Jack and Victor was going to bring down Adam's hedge fund and he explained he needed to connect a device to Skye's computer, which will tell him every trade made by the Newman Fund. "We will know exactly what stocks to bet against, and we will know the optimal time to pull the plug," grinned Jack. "We'll contact all the other investors, get them to follow suit." To make that happen, Jack needed to gain access to Adam and Skye's room.

As Diane was explaining her professional accomplishments to Tucker, Ashley showed up and Diane was surprised to learn that they are dating. He was a little stunned to find out that Diane is the mother of Jack's son.

Adam walked into Gloworm, so Jack inquired of Skye's whereabouts, Adam replied that his wife was out of town and was surprised Jack didn't already know since he and Skye are so tight. Phyllis faked a fight by slapping, then blasting Jack for sleeping with Skye. After exchanging some heated words, Jack stormed out. Phyllis tried to keep Adam preoccupied but he wasn't interested in small talk and left. Phyllis followed Adam to the G.C.A.C. and
suggested they go back to her penthouse to fool around. Diane showed up in time to see the compromising scene and introduced herself to Adam. Phyllis told her to run along, then resumed her seduction. Adam realized she was faking and headed upstairs. Meanwhile, Jack tried to figure out the password on Skye's computer but she unexpectedly emerged from the bathroom and asked why Jack was at her computer, then assumed he was there for sex. She threw him down on the bed, while outside the door Phyllis jumped Adam and started kissing him. They crashed through the door and interrupted Skye and Jack.

Diane went to Gloworm where she met Deacon. He asked about the conversation she had earlier with Nikki... Jeffrey tried to smuggle out the drop in a Fenmore's shopping bag and Gloria assumed he bought her a gift.... Chloe was curious when Kevin kept getting numerous text messages that he claimed were
from women. Chloe peeked at his cell phone and saw that the messages were asking him to bring gifts. Chloe called the number but hung up when she heard Hogan's voice.... Nikki came home and Victor demanded to know if she had been drinking. Nikki vehemently denied it and wanted to elope right away. Victor begged off, citing there was too much going on. Crushed, she gazed longingly at the nearby decanters of booze.... Jack told Phyllis that his mission was a success. Meanwhile, Adam and Skye deduced that Phyllis and Jack are up to something.... Diane told Kyle that they're not going back to Toronto but "staying put" in Genoa City.

Thursday

At G.C.A.C., Jack turned over information on Adam's hedge fund to Victor.
The rivals were short with each other but united in their goal to take down
Adam. Upstairs, Adam was worried about Jack and Phyllis's intentions but
Skye insisted they focus on business. The couple went downstairs to address their investors. Jack was there and told Adam that he was only there to help. Jack offered the couple even more money and instructed them to use their, "Midas touch."

In their hotel room, Kyle questioned Diane how long they were going to be
staying. She told her son that Genoa City was where they needed to be right now.

At Restless Style, Tucker questioned Phyllis about Diane and mentioned he
was thinking of offering her a job. "Oh, God, no!" Phyllis exclaimed. Tucker stated Diane's designs spoke for themselves. "Diane has shortcomings as an employee," Phyllis tactfully warned. Tucker thanked Phyllis for her unbiased opinion. After he left, Phyllis called Jack to ask if Diane was planning to stick around.

At Crimson Lights, Reed helped Mac clean tables while J.T. beamed. Reed and Mac tried guessing what J.T.'s surprise was. Reed donned his helmet and the trio took off with his scooter. As they walked and Reed scooted, J.T. pulled out a ring. Mac said she loved J.T. more than a wedding and marriage license and liked things they way they were. "I think you just turned me down," he noted. Mac pledged her love and said she'd stay with J.T. forever.

Lily and Cane prepared to flee the cabin as a storm approached. Cane vowed to get "the bastards" after them once and for all but Lily refused to let him return to Australia. "We need to get back to town," Cane insisted. Lily was incredibly stressed. Suddenly, there was a banging noise outside. Cane went to check it out and saw a cop who warned them to stay put, as twisters had been spotted in connection with the oncoming storm. Cane asked about the Officer Whitcomb (a.k.a. Blake) but the cop had no idea what he was talking about. Cane told Lily about the tornado warning and said they needed to get a move on. They were unaware Blake was
watching them. The power went out in the cabin and Lily screamed: she saw Blake looking in the window. Cane went outside with an oar and Blake attacked him, stating, "I'm here to collect your debt, mate!" Cane knocked Blake out, dragged him into the storm cellar and tied him up. Blake then threatened to expose Cane's misdeeds to his wife. Upstairs, Lily grabbed the babies and took cover as the storm hit. Just then, Mac called and Lily screamed that she couldn't find Cane in the storm.

Tucker ran into Victor at Gloworm, where he said he was meeting Diane and offering her a position. Tucker and Diane got a table and Tucker offered her a job. She admitted she was interested but worried about relocating and taking a step backward. Diane asked for time to consider it, which Tucker allowed. She then got a call and on her way out, Victor approached Diane and counter-offered. "Perhaps you can work for me," he stated to a stunned Diane. Victor mentioned he was planning a new building in Tokyo. Diane pointed out that the job was on the other side of the planet and wouldn't be a proper home for her son. She returned to Tucker and accepted his offer. Tucker gave Diane a life back to the club. Diane and Tucker returned to the G.C.A.C., where she informed a stunned Jack that she was now working for Tucker.

Leaving his meeting, Jack bumped into Kyle and was surprised to hear that
Diane was planning to stick around. Jack pumped Kyle for information, and told his son, "That would be awesome!" Skye walked over and asked to borrow Jack. When Skye mentioned Adam was hesitant about taking his money, Jack insisted Skye was someone he wanted to do business with. Skye promised to get Adam on-board.

Adam went to Restless Style and asked Phyllis if they were doing a story on him. "You silly," she smiled. "You know I can't tell you that." Adam wanted to know what Phyllis was after and warned he'd take her down if she tired anything. "Did you just threaten her?" asked an eavesdropping Victor.

Friday

Worried about Cane and Lily, J.T. decided to drive up to the lake and check on the Ashbys. Mac agreed to stay behind at the G.C.A.C. and watch Reed.

Abby asked Daniel if he wanted to go to a movie but he replied he already
had a date. She tried to cover her disappointment but was surprised when he
asked if she wanted to tag along. Daniel then explained that his date was
his sister Summer and that Phyllis was coming too. Abby happily agreed to
join in.

Blake warned Cane that Lily would find out what kind of man Cane really is
and he'll lose his happy life. Cane asked how much it would cost for him to
get rid of Blake and the answer was $5 million. "I don't have money like
that," Cane said but Blake pointed out that he can go to Jill or Kay for the
funds. Cane had no choice but to untie Blake, who put Cane on a "payment
plan" and warned him not to be late with his installments. Blake then
slugged Cane unconscious and left. Meanwhile, Lily panicked by Cane's
absence, turned on the radio in time to hear that a tornado was headed
for Genoa City. Cane staggered back and Lily was relieved but horrified to
see he was bleeding from a head wound. He lied that he was hit by debris
blowing in the wind.

Jack conveyed to Diane his surprise (mixed with apprehension) that she had
decided to stay in Genoa City. Tucker noted they needed to sign her
contracts right away so Jack offered to take Kyle with him and Diane agreed.
Phyllis called Jack and said she was waiting for him at the Abbott mansion
and he shared he was on his way over with Kyle.

Diane was a little nervous when Tucker took her to his apartment for their
business meeting. However, it didn't take long for her to get comfortable
and start flirting. As Diane was about to sign the contract, the lights went
out so she suggested they seal the deal with a kiss.

Sharon and Nick entertained Summer and Faith at Crimson Lights. Nick
announced he needed to deliver Summer back to Phyllis. Sharon decided she
was going home with Faith. Nick said he would come over later. After Nick
and Summer left, Adam showed up. As Sharon got up to leave, he asked if
Sharon could give him a ride to a meeting and she reluctantly agreed.

Jack and Kyle arrived home, with Daniel and Abby close behind. Abby
worried where her mom was and Jack said Ashley was probably waiting out the
storm at her office. Nick showed up with Summer and the power went out. Jack
suggested they make a fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. During a
private moment with Kyle, Jack was surprised to learn that his son knew how
he was conceived. Worried when he couldn't reach Sharon on her cell, Nick set out into the storm to find her.

Nick stopped by Crimson Lights to find out that Sharon left with Adam.
Meanwhile, Sharon was driving through the rain with Adam and Faith and
became became alarmed when the wind nearly blew the car off the road. They
heard a tornado warning on the radio and Adam shouted they needed to get out
of the car now and seek shelter. They huddled inside a barn as the walls
shook violently from the howling winds. The doors blew open and Adam
struggled to close them.

En route to the lake, J.T. suddenly swerved off the road and the car crashed. He was
slumped over and unconscious but slowly came to. As he emerged from the car,
some power lines fell on the vehicle. J.T. was electrocuted and fell back
into the car.... Tucker and Diane were having sex in his bed when the
windows suddenly shattered from the wind.... Daniel and Abby showed up at
the Crimson Lights in search of Ashley but didn't find her there. Abby
decided to go to Tucker's place.... Sharon helped Adam to secure the barn
doors but the roof started to blow off as the tornado hit and the section
over Faith began to cave in. Adam leaped on top of her as the ceiling
collapsed on top of them. A horrified Sharon watched helplessly.
